Grinning ear-to-ear, Sofia Vergara left Chateau Marmont with fiance Nick Loeb in Los Angeles on Friday (September 14).
The "Modern Family" star wore a black sleeveless top with a studded and patterned black miniskirt, black nylons, strappy black heels, and her glittering engagement ring while her man wore a white button-down shirt and blue jeans.
Recently, the Emmy-nominee spoke to HoyCinema about her acting plans. "I never thought of becoming an actress like Penelope Cruz, who has been acting all her life. She has gone to acting school, and she is a serious actress. I prefer doing comedy. I have always been naturally inclined to it."
Though the busy 40-year-old has little room in her schedule now, she hasn't forgotten her Latin American roots. "I have to be on the set Monday through Friday, from five in the morning. But I have an agent in Latin America and do not want to lose those fans, because I have been working for them for 20 years."

Putting in a hard day of work, Sofia Vergara strolled around with fake baby bump while working on a scene for "Modern Family" in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday (September 5).
The Colombian beauty devoured a banana while walking around on-set in black leggings which she paired with a bump-hugging green tee-shirt and sweater which she took off before heading into her dressing room trailer.
After confirming her engagement to Nick Lobe, Sofia admitted she's in no rush to walk down the aisle telling Celebuzz, "I haven't started planning anything because everything has been very recent, I am kind of, you know, working a lot -- I just started the Modern Family season -- so I don't know yet [when I will get married]. No plans."
Although the 40-year-old actress is playing a pregnant woman for her hit ABC show, Sofia revealed that a real baby might be in near future, "It's something that maybe... one day I'll do again. I wouldn't mind I mean, I think I can still do it. But you know, when you want to do something like that, you want to do it right, at the right moment. So I am taking it easy... Maybe when I have a little less work."

Grabbing a prime seat at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Sofia Vergara joined fianceick Loeb for a night of US Open tennis action the begin the Labor Day weekend (August 31).
The "Modern Family" actress happily chatted with her man in a white top as they intently watched the tennis event.
Making for her second straight day at the annual hardcourt competition, Miss Vergara posted a photo on Twitter of herself watching the US Open action on Thursday with an accompanying tweet of support reading, " USopen fun! Go Federer!!!"
As for her recent engagement, the 40-year-old Colombian hottie recently told press, "I haven't started planning anything because everything has been very recent."
"I am kind of, you know, working a lot ? I just started the Modern Family season ? so I don?t know yet [when I will get married]. No plans," the easy-going bride-to-be added.

Finally confirming her exciting relationship advancement, Sofia Vergara has acknowledged that she is, indeed, engaged to fiance Nick Loeb.
The 40-year-old actress stated that - while nuptials are expected in the future - they won't be all that soon, explaining, "I haven't started planning anything because everything has been very recent."
Miss Vergara also indicated that she's open to the idea of children with her husband-to-be, while any future little ones would have a big brother in Sofia's 20 year-old son with her first husband.
Recently, the "Modern Family" vixen - along with co-stars from her hit television series including Julie Bowen, Sarah Hyland and Jesse Tyler Ferguson - all visited the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza.
Spellbound by the experience, Sofia told , "Everyone [had] a blast."

Looking absolutely radiant, Sofia Vergara was spotted arriving at ABC studios in New York City on Tuesday (August 28).
The 40-year-old stunner donned a royal blue dress with silver pumps while letting her brown locks flow in the Big Apple wind.
Miss Vergara held a satellite interview with WGN Morning News to discuss her hit show ?Modern Family? along with health and beauty tips.
In the interview, the Colombian beauty was asked about her Emmy nomination and said, ?Honesty I feel like I already won, being able to be a part of ?Modern Family.? I never dreamed in my life that I was gonna be part of a show like this with all this success, with all this love, you know, that the people have for the show and my character.?
Sofia added, ?Just to be able to go to the Emmy?s I mean for me is like the biggest reward.?
When asked about her enviable image, the brunette beauty explained, ?I think it has to be in moderation. You can?t live your life working out like crazy or dieting like crazy. I enjoy my life. I have the food that I like and I have some wine. I work out when I can.?
