Looking a bit pale and stone-faced, Keira Knightley was spotted making her way through the LAX airport after touching down in Los Angeles, California on Sunday night (June 17).
The "Pirates Of The Caribbean" actress shielded herself behind a pair of dark sunglasses while walking behind bodyguards and airport officials wearing a black patterned maxi dress with a jean jacket and color-block ballerina flats.
Keria will surly be in the spotlight this week as she amps up promotions for her latest film, "Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World", in which she stars opposite Steve Carell, who she befriends and becomes close to as an asteroid belines for Earth, threatening to end he world.
Revealing how she would react if the end of the world were truly near, 27-year-old Keira first said at Manhattan?s Waldorf Towers, ?If someone said to me we had 20 days left to go, I?d just be in the corner crying and terrified, " adding, "I?d get as many bottles of alcohol as possible. I wouldn?t want to be sober at the end of the world. So wine ? and a lot of it!?
"Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World" hits theaters on Friday June 22.

Treating themselves to a romantic date, Keira Knightley and James Righton were spotted out in London, England last night (May 30).
The ?Pirates of the Caribbean? babe and her rocker fiance made their exit from The Wolseley restaurant and hopped into a black cab as shutterbugs clamored for pictures.
And the whole time, Keira could barely keep her hands off of her man, as the two have become increasingly public with their displays of affection since becoming betrothed.
Ms. Knightley and Mr. Royton began dating over a year ago after their mutual friend Alexa Chung introduced them to each other.

Last week, Keira Knightley and James Righton announced their engagement. This was weird to me because A) Keira is super-private these days, and I was surprised that she would even confirm or announce her engagement and B) I didn?t know Keira and James were so serious. I really thought James was Keira?s jumpoff, her rebound after five years with Rupert Friend. But it looks like James is The One. Anyway, these are new photos of Keira and James last night in London. This is actually the second post-engagement, paparazzi-friendly outing that they?ve done – you can see the first batch here. It feels like? Keira wants all of us to see her with James, and to see the ring? Which is kind of cute, I think. Keira is the kind of girl who wants to show off her ring. It?s adorable. They seem so happy.
As for the ring, Us Weekly contacted ?jewelry expert? Michael O?Connor, who discussed his opinion on the ring: ?This is truly the most classic of all engagement ring styles? It’s a solid platinum band with a brilliant cut solitaire diamond, approximately 2 carats. Estimated price tag is $40,000. Thoughts? It feels like a ring that James picked out himself. Like, he went into the jewelry store and, knowing Keira so well, decided that he would choose something for her. I like the simplicity, and God knows I love the minimalism. I think it suits Keira – the real Keira, who I think it probably very low-key. The bitch in me wishes the stone was bigger, though.

I always wonder about the girls (and boys) who are with a significant other for years and years without marrying, and then as soon as they break up, they jump into a new relationship and get engaged really quickly. So it is with Keira Knightley. She was with Rupert Friend for more than five years – they split up about a year and a half ago. Keira waited a hot minute, then jumped into a relationship with James Righton (some say there was overlap between James and Rupert). And now Keira and James are engaged! Congrats.
Actress Keira Knightley is engaged to marry her rocker boyfriend James Righton. The actress’s spokesperson confirmed she had accepted the Klaxons rocker’s proposal following a 15 month courtship. The London-born star, 27, started dating the 28-year-old keyboard player last year after being introduced by mutual friend Alexa Chung.
Knightley’s representative said: ‘I can confirm that Keira is engaged to be married to James Righton.’
But in keeping with the actress’ tightly-guarded privacy stance, the spokesperson declined to comment further. Since they started dating last year, the couple have kept their romance under wraps and are yet to pose together on a red carpet.
However, they have been photographed out together casually near their East London home several times. The Oscar-nominated star previously dated Pride & Prejudice co-star Rupert Friend for five years before splitting in January 2011.
Last year, her father William said on her split from Friend: ‘It wasn?t a decision that either of them took lightly. I know they gave it a great deal of thought. I don?t think there was any one thing that led to their break-up – it was a whole raft of things, I think.’
She also had a two-year romance with Irish model and actor Jamie Dornan before splitting in August 2005.
Righton is the keyboardist for London-based indie band Klaxons. The group won a Mercury Music Prize in 2007 for their debut album Myths Of The Near Future. The four-piece are currently working on a follow-up album to their last release Surfing The Void.

So did Keira want to marry Rupert and he just never got around to proposing, so Keira hit the road and found a dude who was the marrying kind? I have no idea. I had James pegged as Keira?s rebound after a long, marriage-like relationship with Rupert, so I?m surprised that they?re engaged now. Maybe it will be fine. Keira seems? more serious lately. Maybe she?s a ?grown up? now. Maybe she sees all of her friends getting married (Carey Mulligan) and having babies (Sienna Miller) and she wants that life too.
PS? I still think Keira and Viggo Mortensen had an affair.

These are some new photos of Keira Knightley with her boyfriend, James Righton, out in London last night. She and James had dinner with James at La Bodega Negra and then they went to The Box with some friends to see Jean-Philippe Rio-Py. One of Keira?s ?friends? included Downton Abbey hottie Dan Stevens! Now I kind of want Dan Stevens and Keira to get together, but that?s a discussion for another time. Keira has been dating James for more than a year, it seems. Keira and Rupert Friend broke up back in December of 2010, and shortly after the split, Keira was spotted with James frequently around London. Righton is the keyboardist and vocalist for the indie band Klaxons. James is cute, but why does she always go for the fey ones? I?d like to see her with a man?s man, just once.
I think Keira looks cute and low-key in these photos. The clothes aren?t flattering, I don?t think she?s wearing any makeup and her hair is a hot mess, and I like it. I like that she goes out like this. It?s refreshing. In a new piece with Interview Magazine, Keira spoke about her self-consciousness with her body, saying ?I’m incredibly self-conscious about the fact that I get bad skin? and she finds herself focusing on ?the bits you don’t particularly? Do I sometimes feel incredibly shy about going out even in a bathing costume into a swimming pool? Yeah, actually, I do. I was on the beach the other day ? with some friends. They were all totally fine taking everything off and I was sitting around in my jeans and a top. I kind of didn’t want to take anything off.? But Keira also says that ?…At a certain point, I’ve had to get over my own body anxiety issues so it doesn’t get in the way of telling the story.?
By the way, I finally saw A Dangerous Method over the weekend, and I was surprised by how good Keira was in the film. I?d read several reviews where Keira was described as ?the weak link? in the trio of performances (which also included Michael Fassbender and Viggo Mortensen), but I thought her performance was very brave. And of course, Fassy spanked the hell out of her. It was pretty awesome.

Keira Knightley practiced her sex faces in a mirror for two days straight to nail a scene in A Dangerous Method where she’s violently spanked. As if there were any other kind of spanking.She eventually showed them to director David Cronenberg over Skype to see which one he liked.
“It was a huge part of what Sabina was doing a lot of the time. So I asked psychoanalysts about it and they said, ‘Sex and anything like that is trying to release energy, trying to release pent-up emotion’.
“So I worked with that and sat in my bathroom and pulled faces at myself for about two days, trying to figure out what it was going to be.
“Then I got on Skype with David and went, ‘I’ve come up with this’, or, ‘I’ve come up with this’, and he went, ‘That one!’” Contact Music

Yesterday?s Keira Knightley post was nice, wasn?t it? It?s good to remember every now and then that Keira Knightley really is an interesting young woman. She?s been mostly quiet the past few years, but with the international release of A Dangerous Method, Keira is doing more interviews and I?ve come to the realization that? Keira is fine. I was worried about her for no reason. She?s doing well.
Anyway, these are photos from the ?gala premiere? of A Dangerous Method in London. I thought they had already done the premiere in the UK, but that was just for the London Film Festival. This is the real premiere, and Method is about to open in England. Keira wore this rich burgundy Burberry gown which?I kind of like. It?s somewhat plain, but it really works on a tall, slender beanpole like Keira. Plus, her hair and makeup are really good here too. It?s all working for me.
I?m going to put the Viggo Mortensen and Michael Fassbender photos in another post – but I?d just like to note again, Keira and Viggo Mortensen are very friendly and handsy with each other. That?s Viggo?s hand on her ass – NOT Fassy?s. Fassy got to spank her in the movie (and she hated it!!!!!!!) but in real life, Keira and Michael seem to not be that comfortable with each other. Personally, I kind of think Viggo might have tapped that. I?m just sayin?.

Giving Mother England a taste of her new project, Keira Knightley was spotted at the premiere of ?A Dangerous Method? in London today (January 31).
The ?Pirates of the Caribbean? cutie showed up at the Mayfair Hotel looking stunning in a chocolate brown dress with a black belt as she posed for the paparazzi.
In a recent interview, Keira shared that she overcame dyslexia by reading a screenplay written by Emma Thompson.
"I'm a huge fan of Emma Thompson, huge! I was - am - dyslexic and the way my mother got me over it was to say, 'If Emma Thompson couldn't read, she'd make sure she'd get over it. So you have to start reading because that's what Emma Thompson would do.??
