She has an astounding worldwide appeal, and Carrie Underwood received a warm welcome from fans as she arrived at BBC Radio 2 studios in London, England this afternoon (March 13).
The ?Good Girl? singer was all smiles in a bright blue scarf with a vibrant red jacket and black trousers as she scurried inside out of the winter cold.

Giving her fans a fantastic night, Carrie Underwood played at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas on Saturday (March 2).
Decked out in a shiny, strapless purple dress, the country songstress belted out her most popular hits as part of her Blown Away tour.
The 29-year-old got the crowd on their feet with renditions of ?Undo It,? ?Cowboy Cassanova,? ?Last Name,? and ?Nobody Ever Told You.?
Amped up after a hard-hitting performance, Carrie tweeted her appreciation to the thousands who turned out for the show saying, ?Las Vegas was great tonight! Thanks to all who came out to party! Such a great night!?

Carrie Underwood?s Allure cover profile in the February issue of Allure is pretty good. I?m saying that as someone who has a someone who doesn?t have much of an opinion on Carrie ? I think she seems like a Mean Girl and a diva, but I?ve also heard that she?s professional, a hard worker and she?s very no-nonsense. It could be that she?s just a blunt, no-BS person, in which case? good for her. Anyway, in the Allure story, Carrie talks about her love of the Lord and how she supports gay marriage, and how she?s kind of pissed that Hayden Panettiere claimed that she used Carrie as an inspiration for her role in Nashville. Some highlights:
Carrie says Hayden Panettiere’s character on Nashville isn?t her: “I’m not like that at all. It’s juicy, but I hope not everybody thinks that everything goes down like that in Nashville, and we’re evil.”
Carie says the real Nashville scene has less drama: “To be honest. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with other types of music — and we’re the least drama-rific people.”
Carrie on gay marriage: “I’m in favor of acceptance. And I am a Christian person, and I do love the Lord, and I feel no matter who you are, what you believe, how you live your life, it’s not my place to judge. I don’t have that power. I don’t want that power. It’s my place to love and to show God’s love to other people, even if they don’t live a life like I live. So that’s where I’m coming from.”
Having a career and a husband: “My mom had a job, and she also took care of us, and she also took care of Dad?I always saw her pulling triple duty, doing more than I ever felt like she needed to. I made a promise to myself that it would be more of a team effort in my family someday,” she explained. “And because of that, I became more independent. But it was tough figuring out what kind of guy would work with what I did. Because you have your problems with both.”
Finding Prince Charming: “We want that person to be everything we’ve always wanted. If they’re not Prince Charming, we try to make them Prince Charming. But Prince Charming does exist! I found one.”
Being married to a professional athlete: “We’ve seen a lot of celebrities, professional athletes, not exactly always being on their best behavior away from girlfriends, wives, families,” she says. But she’s not concerned about her husband, Mike Fisher. “People would say, ‘Do you ever worry that?you know?he’s an athlete, he’s young, he’s good-looking?’ And I’ve never had to worry about him,” she continues, “because I’ve never trusted anybody so completely. Or I didn’t know the true meaning of trust. He just…he just wouldn’t do that.”

Carrie?s speech about acceptance is what it is ? she used different language back in June of last year and she was slammed by a lot of her Christian (I was going to put that in passive-aggressive quotes, but I stopped myself) fans who didn?t like that Carrie?s faith was a faith of inclusion, tolerance and love. I think Carrie sounds kind of defensive here, but it?s good to remember how many country fans were all ?OMG I HATE HER NOW? after her she publicly supported gay marriage.
Also: Carrie has a lot of confidence in her husband and her marriage, right? I mean? that?s a good thing, I guess. She trusts him. And he?s never given her a reason to NOT trust him, right? Still? I?m always wary when someone is like ?He would never do that, I trust him so much? etc.

Hitting the red carpet for another music-filled evening, Carrie Underwood attended the taping of the 2012 CMT Artists of the Year special in Franklin, Tennessee on Monday (December 3).
Joined by her hubby, Mike Fisher, the 29-year-old country songstress worked The Factory media line in a Katharine Kidd black jumpsuit and sexy heels, before heading in to take the stage as one of the evening's performers.
Other artists joining Carrie to belt out their biggest hits include Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, and Luke Bryan.
According to the show?s website, this is the first year ever that ?CMT is keeping the illustrious list of honorees top secret until they are revealed on the night [of the show].?
This year?s event, which will be hosted by ?Nashville? actress Hayden Panettiere and Rascall Flatts, will air Saturday, December 8th at 10/9c.

The country cutie opted for a dressed-down approach, as she hit the terminal in sweats, following close behind her hockey-playing beau.

All set for one of the biggest nights in the music world, Carrie Underwood made her way down the red carpet at the 2012 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 18).
Flashing her megawatt smile, the 29-year-old country crooner shined in a colorful, partially sheer floor-length frock as she approached the NOKIA theater.
The ?Good Girl? cutie is nominated for two awards this year - "Favorite Female Country Artist" and "Favorite Country Album" for Blown Away.
Ms. Underwood will perform during the live awards show, with other acts, including P!nk, Taylor Swift, and Justin Bieber.

Carrie Underwood was performing at the KFC Yum! Center in Kentucky when she spotted a kid with a sign that read, “Will you be my first kiss?” She thought to herself, “Will I ever!,” and pulled him up on stage. She made with the pleasantries asking his name (Chase) before she got down to business.
Carrie wanted to know, “How are we going to do this?” Chase replied, “Lip to lip.” For whatever reason that exchange reminded me of Stanley Herman’s scene inRequiem for a Dream where he excitedly screams “ass to ass!” Probably because this is a lot like that.
Anyway, Carrie obliged, told him to close his eyes and gave him a quick peck on the lips. Now that kid has to go see the doctor cause he’s had an erection for more than 48 hours.
If that kid knew any better, he would have asked for open mouth with tongue.

Keeping up with her grueling schedule, Carrie Underwood was all over the Ontario province of Canada yesterday (August 12).
The ?Jesus Take The Wheel? songstress was excited to throw out the first pitch before the Toronto Blue Jays took on the New York Yankees in Toronto.
From there, Ms. Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher hopped on a helicopter that flew them to the Boots and Hearts Festival in Bowmanville, Canada.
Once off the luxury chopper, Carrie headed over to the venue and hit the hair and makeup department before taking the stage in a bright turquoise getup in front of the packed crowd.

Carrie Underwood stripped down to a bikini and pounded beer with husband Mike Fisher at a lake in Canada last week, which I found quite surprising, because I’m pretty sure her bikini violates Canada’s rigorous ban on wearing anything other than turtlenecks, flannel or maple leaves as outerwear. She’s lucky her husband is a hockey player or she’d have been deported for sure.

Promoting her new album Blown Away, Carrie Underwood was spotted greeting fans and signing copies of her CD at HMV Oxford Street. London, England on Wednesday (June 20).
The "Good Girl" songstress showed off her toned legs in a short and lacy Pink dress that she paired with a leather jacket and black peep-toe booties while proudly holding up copies of her just-released album.
Not long after voicing her support for gay marriage, Carrie was the recipient of a ton of backlash, of which she explained to The Associated Press during an interview on Tuesday, "I was asked a difficult question in the last five minutes of an interview and I answered it the best way I knew how, and after that I do what I do and I love making music and I generally try to stay out of any kind of controversy."
However, the 29-year-old country singer doesn't really consider herself a role model, admitting, "The role-model word is really scary to me, because no matter what happens in your life, something you do, wear, say, sing, whatever - somebody somewhere is probably not going to like it too well, I just really try hard to do what I do and try to be nice to people and make great music and if people think they can look up to that, that's wonderful. If not, that's OK too."
Along with a full slate of promotional duties in London this week, Carrie is expected to perform at a sold-out show on Thursday at London's Royal Albert Hall.
