She?s a glowing mother-to-be, but there are a few things about pregnancy that Carrie Underwood still finds ?weird.?
The expecting country cutie stopped by the ?Today? show on Friday (September 26) and opened up about her exciting news along with her upcoming greatest hits album.
The 31-year-old singer revealed that she often talks about expecting her first baby with hubby Mike Fisher and said, "'I'm gonna be a mom. You're gonna be a dad.' It's like, is this real life?" Underwood said. "But we're really excited."
"I have a wonderful mother so if I can be even a little bit like that, I think that we'll be good," Carrie continued.
In addition, Miss Underwood told the Today hosts that she is releasing a very exciting project. "The song is called 'Something in the Water' and it's going to be a single off my greatest hits album, which will come out Dec. 9...It's very uplifting."
"I'm really excited that people are going to hear it Monday," she added.

These are photos of Carrie Underwood performing at the Ravina Festival this weekend in Highland Park, Illinois. Carrie is wearing a floral jumpsuit by Katherine Feine and you can just see a hint of her baby bump. Last week, Carrie announced that she was expecting her first child with her husband of four years, hockey player Mike Fisher. Given how far along she looks, I would assume that she waited until she was at least three months’ pregnant before making it public. Maybe that jumpsuit is just puffing out though.
In terms of this outfit… she’s not that pregnant yet so she doesn’t get a pregnancy pass. One of the commenters on Us Weekly’s story mentioned that this looks similar to the floral print Givenchy mess that Kim Kardashian wore to the Met Gala. (Kim was also pregnant at the time.) I wouldn’t say this onesie is that bad, but it does have that 80s couch look in common.
My favorite bump reveal dress was Kate Hudson’s 2003 premiere gown with the cut out around the stomach. I just googled it, and that dress was much uglier than I remembered. Still, Kate was cute in it and she generally has great pregnancy style. (And style in general.)
Carrie, though, not so much. So I expect her pregnancy style will be more Kardashian than Hudson. This first outfit is definitely pointing her in the Kardashian direction.

Looking super elegant, Carrie Underwood hit up the red carpet at the 2014 CMT Awards in Nashville tonight (June 4).
Displaying her designer duds, the ?Last Name? star was all smiles as she rubbed shoulders with fellow famous folks outside the Sommet Center prior to the big show.
Not only are there a ton of great acts nominated for trophies, but the 2014 CMT Music Awards has also recruited a host of top-name stars to hand out the hardware.
Presenters for the evening include Brooklyn Decker, LeAnn Rimes, Beth Behrs, James Van Der Beek, Cassadee Pope, Kate Walsh and Rascal Flatts.

Last night was the big Time 100 gala, in which people who made Time?s Most Influential People list mingled with people who didn?t. Uninfluential peasants! It was too much to hope that Benedict Cumberbatch would show up, I suppose. Instead, I guess the highlight of the evening was Carrie Underwood (she made the list) and her husband Mike Fisher. Carrie wore this antebellum-type gown by Claire Pettibone. I?m not into it. Her styling is so dated too. Also: there are rumors going around that she?s pregnant. She hasn?t confirmed anything that I?ve seen.
Christy Turlington Burns and Ed Burns. Look at the simplicity of her gown ? and she just looks so classic and beautiful. She?s ageless. The dress? well, it?s a little bit weird. Is the belt a piece of string?!
Here?s Amy Adams in Tory Burch Fall 2014. She?s so pretty, but I wish she would really do high-fashion once in a while.

Helping honor their talented colleagues, Carrie Underwood and Sheryl Crow attended the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Thursday (April 10).
This year's inductees include Peter Gabriel, Daryl Hall and John Oates, KISS, Nirvana, Linda Ronstadt, and Cat Stevens.
Speaking about being out of the Rock Hall for so long, Paul Stanley of Kiss told the audience, "The people pay for tickets, the people buy albums, the people who nominate do not. Let's not forget that these are the people who make it all possible. We just benefit from it."
Though the ceremony was live-streamed on the web, the event won't air on television until May 31st on HBO.

She is one of country music's hottest stars, so it was fitting that Carrie Underwood took the stage at the iHeartRadio Country Festival on Saturday (March 29) in Austin, TX.
Before belting out her hit tunes for the eager crowd, the "Blown Away" babe posed for shutterbugs backstage in a black, off the shoulder dress and matching heels.
Pleased with the reception her performance received, Carrie took to Twitter to thank fans tweeting, "Thank you, Austin, and all who watched online for the love tonight! I had a blast! I can't wait to do it again sometime!!! #iHeartCountry."
Other acts who took the stage at the fest included, Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum, and Florida Georgia Line.

She?s one of Country Music?s best-dressed ladies, and Carrie Underwood looked fabulous as she arrived at the Peter Som presentation as part of Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week Fall 2014 today (February 7).
The ?Blown Away? songstress wore the Pamma Dress from Ted Baker London while working her magic for the cameras outside of Milk Studios.
And while Carrie?s trademark blonde tresses are always picture perfect, she relies on plenty of help from Melissa Schleicher, the owner of Parlour 3 Salon in the Brentwood suburb of Nashville.
Underwood told Vogue, "When I don't have to color my hair, I don't. I actually haven't colored it for about six months. Over the winter, I'm off tour, so I can relax."
