She just keeps pumping out great music, and Carrie Underwood is excited about the release of her new single ?Good Girl.?
The ?Jesus, Take The Wheel? songstress posted a video on YouTube yesterday (January 25) much to the delight of her fans.
In the clip, Carrie shared, ?My very first single off of my fourth album is coming out soon. It?s called ?Good Girl,? and I?m so excited! I love this song. I think it?s awesome. I think it?s going to blow you guys away.?
And from the look of the cover art, Ms. Underwood is ready to take the country music scene by storm once again.

These are photos from last night?s American Country Awards in Las Vegas. You might be like me and ask yourself, ?Why does Carrie Underwood look so insanely and uncharacteristically happy?? Seriously, Carrie?s sour puss usually rivals Jessica Alba?s ?natural bitchface? – so why does Carrie?s smile look so unforced here? Is it because, at long last, after several years of being ?Oh, her? at awards shows, Carrie was the undisputed STAR last night? Taylor Swift wasn?t there. Jennifer Nettles wasn?t there. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban weren?t there. It was Carrie?s moment to shine!
So, how did Carrie do? Horribly. The dress is Maria Lucia Hohan, and it looks like one of cream-puff dressed that Katy Perry would fail to pull off, or a dress that would make me yawn if Taylor Swift wore it. The skirt is too short, so it gives Carrie the look of a young girl who has outgrown her ?party dress.? Plus, the Ryan Haber shoes just look awful and uncomfortable. I?m really disgusted with this whole ensemble.
Also sharing the spotlight with Carrie? Miranda Lambert! Miranda is big-busted, and I respect that as a fellow big-boob-haver, but I would love it if Miranda would find flattering dresses that showed off her figure in a classy way.
Speaking of boob issues, Kristin Chenowith. I love her, but this dress is WRONG. Whatever is happening to her boobs is just wrong.

Awards show season is upon us, and earlier tonight (December 5) Carrie Underwood was spotted glamming up the 2011 American Country Awards.
The ?All-American Girl? songstress looked bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as she posed for pictures and signed autographs outside the MGM Grand Garden Arena en route to the festivities.
Among the esteemed nominees at the ACAs, Miss Underwood is in the running for trophies in categories including Artist of the Year: Female, Single of the Year: Female, Touring Headline Act of the Year and Music

About a year ago, Carrie Underwood gave an interview in which she discussed her immediate baby plans with her husband, Mike Fisher. Carrie said at the time: ?We just want to be together and keep it as simple as possible. And I think a baby would just make things so complicated right now.? CB and I both admired the directness and no-BS-ness of that answer - there was no, ?I LOVE babies, I want a million of them but I?m not pregnant now WINK. Please continue to talk about this endlessly!? With that in mind, here?s a report from OK! Magazine about how she?s probably pregnant:
When Carrie Underwood co-hosted the Country Music Association Awards in her hometown of Nashville on Nov. 9, an onlooker at the scene couldn?t help but notice a starry-eyed look in the country superstar?s eyes as she picked out goodies in the backstage gift lounge.
?Everything she chose was loose on her,? the eyewitness tells OK!. ?She was also friendlier than her usual self and had a glow about her!? And with good reason: It seems that all the pregnancy talk buzzing around Carrie is true ? even though she and her NHL hockey player husband, Mike Fisher, have said publicly that they?re waiting to start a family.
?They really want to start now,? an insider tells OK!. ?Of course, Carrie?s playing her cards very close to her chest, but it?s no secret among her close friends that she?s been actively trying to get pregnant.?
?Actually there?s even some speculation in her inner circle that she may already be expecting. She?s had that happy glow about her for weeks. The biggest sign for everyone is the fact that she?s completely stopped drinking. Carrie usually loves having a glass of champagne once in a while, but lately she?s been skipping it. She didn?t even have one sip after hosting the CMA Awards, which was really out of character.?
One other key indicator: the calendar. Carrie?s 28 years old, and though that certainly doesn?t suggest that her biological clock is ready to wind down, the onetime American Idol champion does have her own personal maternity schedule.
?Carrie has always wanted to be a young mother, and she?s nearing that 30th birthday,? the insider tells OK!. ?And at this point, most of their close friends are expecting an announcement very soon. She and Mike are very, very excited.?

I was going to go on and on about how Carrie is super-blunt about the state of her womb, and since she hasn?t said anything about this report, it was probably true. But then I checked it out, and Carrie?s rep denied the story to Gossip Cop: ?Carrie is not pregnant.? Direct. To the point. So there you have it, people. Get out of Carrie?s womb! She?s not pregnant. She probably likes her life as-is, likes to work, likes to spend her free time with her husband and friends. It happens, people. Or, you know, her rep is lying. They do that sometimes.

When bangs-lovers or bangs-havers yell at me for getting so frustrated and critical over the state of bangs-centric hairstyles currently invading celebrity women?s foreheads these days, one of the most common comebacks is often, ?Some people NEED bangs.? I disagree on that point, almost always. You have to have a particular kind of face, or a particular kind of forehead issue to make real, honest-to-goodness BANGS work. I?m not talking about some little pieces around your face to add some depth - I?m talking about full-blown bangs (trauma), with the currently popular thick, blunt-cut bangs that go past a lady?s eyebrows. My point is almost always: ?Look at how much these women look without bangs.? Look at Lea Michele before and after bangs - she looks so much better without. Look at Christina Hendricks, Rihanna, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Lopez, and Penelope Cruz, and tell me that all of them don?t look so much better withOUT bangs. My point? It takes a certain kind of face to make bangs look better.
So these are new photos of Carrie Underwood debuting her new bangs over the weekend. Does she pull it off? Well? they?re not the too-thick bangs that are currently going around - these are more old-school, more ?country/western? bangs that look flat-ironed and stiff. This is a look that many Southern ladies still do. For comparison, this was Carrie?s last hairstyle:
She had some shorter piece up front to add depth, and? in my opinion, that hairstyle was so, so much better. These bangs ruin her very pretty face. They?re also too long and too stiff, by the way.

Belting out her hottest tunes to the delight of the crowd, Carrie Underwood performed during day one of the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday night (September 23).
The "Before He Cheats" beauty looked stunning as she took to the Las Vegas set, sporting a black and silver top, sequin black shorts and black peep-toe booties for her time at the star-studded music event.
While backstage folks from RyanSeacrest.com met up with Carrie, where she dished about her forthcoming studio record, as she explained, "I am currently working on album number four. ?American Idol? days seem like a million years ago to me to be honest, but I?m really excited. Doing a lot of writing. Doing some recording. Kind of taking a different approach to the whole album making process right now.?
Miss Underwood continued, ?We would like get all of our songs together and then go record them, and have them out. And now, I?m just kind of doing them a little bit at a time. It?s kind of nice to work and then take some time to be a person and then work some more. I don?t know. Keeps me creative," adding that the release of the album "won't be too much longer. I want to really, this is number 4, I?m not playing around anymore. I?m serious.?

Showing off her contagious smile, Carrie Underwood turned up at the 2011 Ella Awards at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Monday night (September 19).
The ?Jesus, Take the Wheel? singer looks smashing in a multi-colored dress and heels as she happily smiled for the cameras alongside fellow guest Smokey Robinson at the Beverly Hills locale.
Meanwhile, in what sounds to be another rumor, the National Enquirer is reporting that Underwood and husband Mike Fisher are looking to adopt children.
The Enquirer?s source claims that Carrie doesn?t have time for a pregnancy or the time it would take to get her body back in shape, so she supposedly thinks adopting is a perfect alternative.

I have my opinions about Carrie Underwood, but for the most part, those opinions aren?t based on anything other than how she seems, in general. To me, she seems rather snotty and bitchy, especially when the first Carrie story I always think about is this one, where Carrie was kind of mean to Leighton Meester. I know some of y?all like her, and CB seems to have some (begrudging) respect for her and the way she conducts herself. Anyway, Carrie is married to hockey player Mike Fisher (making her Carrie Fisher!), and they recently decided to make their home in Tennessee, after it was widely reported that Carrie had no interest in living in Canada, where Mike played for the Ottawa Senators. He got traded, and Carrie gets to make their home in Tennessee, just like she wanted. So, what does Carrie want now? She wants Mike to stop hunting. She wants to take away his guns!
Carrie Underwood has banned husband Mike Fisher from his favorite pastime - hunting! Carrie, a vegan, laid down the law after finding a box of guns and traps at Mike?s home in Canada, sources say.
?Carrie hit the roof when she found Mike?s hunting gear,? a source told the Enquirer. ?She knew Mike has hunted everything, even grizzly bears, but she thought he?s given it all up when they got married. Carrie loves animals, doesn?t eat them and is dead against harming them for fun.?
To appease his wife, Mike vowed to quit hunting and squirreled his gear away, said the source. The hunting ban is another win for Carrie - sources say she pressured Mike to move from Canada to Tennessee to save their marriage - and he demanded that the Ottawa Senators trade him to the Nashville Predators.
Their marriage had been on thin ice last year, when Carrie reneged on a promise to move to Canada with Mike. The couple ended up buying 354 acres in rural Williamson County, Tennessee, where they are building a home.
?Carrie and Mike are creating their dream home in Nashville, and she doesn?t want any hunting gear there. It?s going to be a warm, safe love nest where they can start a family.?

If Mike wanted to put up a fight, it would get ugly. Like, the NRA would declare Carrie Underwood their public enemy number one and she would be derided and rejected by a good chunk of her pro-gun, pro-hunting, country-music-loving fan base. It would get Dixie Chicks-level bad. Thankfully for Carrie, it doesn?t seem like Mike is putting up much of a fight, which makes me wonder if he was even much of a hunter. Men who hunt all of their lives, who see it as a tradition passed on from father to son, they wouldn?t give up hunting so easily.

Getting dolled up for a photo op, Carrie Underwood posed for a classy session at the Four Season Hotel in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday (June 14).
The ?Jesus Take the Wheel? singer is in the Land Down Under promoting her new album, ?Play On,? and donned a gorgeous blue ensemble as she showed off her contagious smile for the Aussie shoot.
Just a few hours earlier, Underwood arrived in Sydney from Melbourne via bus due to an ash cloud the canceled flights in the overseas locale.
Attempting to branch out her stardom to different countries, Carrie told press, ?This trip is step one. I wanted to make friends and familiarise myself with Australia and see if I can come back." she said.

She has always been known for her amazing live performances, and last night (May 1) Carrie Underwood sounded fabulous at the 2011 Stagecoach: California?s Country Music Festival.
The ?Jesus Take the Wheel? songstress took the stage at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California much to the delight of the packed crowd, sporting a multi-colored dress and brown cowboy boots.
Carrie joined big names like Josh Turner, Leon Russell, Jack Ingram, and Rascal Flatts on the roster of performers for the day.
One excited fan told press, ?It?s amazingly fun! I will be back next year, and next year, and the next!?
