Eva Longoria was a presenter at last night’s Globes and she did a cute but kind of sad bit with Gina Rodriguez about being a Latina actress. Buzzfeed has a good recap of their intro, which included quips about how they’re always mistaken for other actresses. Eva said “I’m Eva Longoria, not Eva Mendes” and America said “I’m America Ferrera not Gina Rodriguez” and then they added “neither of us is Rosario Dawson” and then called each other “Salma” and “Charo.” The only comparison I have to admit I screw up is America Ferrera and Gina Rodriguez. I don’t think it’s cross racial identification bias so much as the fact that they’re both young and on TV, but that must be annoying and I have no idea what that’s like.
Eva was wearing this meh white Georges Hobeika gown with cap sleeves, a stupid cut out bow at the neckline, another dumb gold bow along the waist and floral appliques along the sides of the skirt. The flowers looked out of place, especially with the bows and especially on that otherwise sleek gown. I don’t get it.
I’m including Gina Rodriguez here, and I know she’s not America Ferrera! It’s just that Kaiser already covered America Ferrera because she was wearing the same canary yellow/mustard color as Jennifer Lopez. Gina was actually in navy blue, a color I only remember seeing on Kate Winslet. (And Julianne Moore if you count metallics.) This is Zac Posen and it’s way too ballgown for my taste. The bodice is great though, if only this had a more understated skirt. Gina came with her dad, which was cute.
Finally here’s Patricia Arquette, in black and white Paule Ka, with her artist boyfriend Eric White. It looks like if you undo that bow her boobs will pop out. Arquette was a presenter. She helped start the conversation about pay equality by bringing it up in her Oscars speech last year. It’s still very much in the news, with celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence continuing the conversation and Gervais joking about it at the Globes last night.

At 40, Longoria looks stunning in the swimsuit, which showed off her toned midsection, muscled legs, and curvy back side, according to photos and video from Splash News.
She was also seen on the beach covered up in a see-through white top while donning a hat, sunglasses and a beach bag.

Stepping out in the City of Lights, Eva Longoria got all gussied up and headed over to the Four Seasons Hotel George V last night (May 25).
The ?Desperate Housewives? dame was in the house for the Global Gift Gala and posed next to Laetitia Casta while wearing a darling Monsoori dress.
Eva is an honorary chairperson for Gift Galas the world over, and it turns out the cause is personal for her. ?My older sister was mentally disabled and when you see something like that first hand, you become selfless. Volunteerism is [one of] the first few words I learnt and it's a part of my DNA. We benefitted a lot from community programs by churches. It changed my family's life. So I feel this great responsibility to pay it forward.?

She?s never one to miss out on a fancy fete and last night (May 14) Eva Longoria showed up at the Cannes Film Festival for the Global Gift Gala.
The 40-year-old ?Desperate Housewives? hottie was in fine form as she posed on the red carpet in her metallic gown featuring a plunging neckline and smoky eye makeup.
As the brand ambassador for L?Oreal Paris, Eva will be plugging some new product while in in the South of France and before she jetted out of Los Angeles she posed a photo of her massive luggage cart with the caption, ?Cannes here I come! She wore her wet brunette tresses down flowing over her shoulders as she finished off the look with natural, complimentary make-up on her face.

Always an avid advocate for Latino issues, Eva Longoria helped kick off the ALMA Awards Weekend with a swanky dinner at her West Hollywood restaurant Beso last night (October 10).
Joined by pals like Melanie Griffith, William H Macy and Terry Crews, the ?Desperate Housewives? star?s Eva Longoria Foundation sponsored the event and of course Eva was gorgeous in a sexy black dress.
Of her organization, Eva previously explained, ?The Eva Longoria Foundation focuses on Latinas and education and entrepreneurship. So there's a huge educational gap into girls, young girls, reaching their full educational potential...my foundation wants to break that cycle of poverty and we do it with different programs.?
Earlier in the day, Longoria told MSNBC she?s not willing to let her fellow Latinos get apathetic about the upcoming midterm election- ?I keep telling everybody our democracy is not a spectator sport. You have to participate. You can?t sit back and complain if you?re not going to participate in the process.?
