I think very highly of Rachel McAdams? beauty. She is truly a gorgeous woman, and she could easily rule every red carpet she ever walked. Unfortunately, Rachel has something of a styling problem. It?s not like she?s got Rihanna?s stylist or anything like that, someone who cosigns whatever crazy, hormonal ?let?s shave half of my hair off and rock it? sort of thing. But Rachel?s stylist does cosign some sketchy stuff. Take this whole look, from the London premiere of Sherlock Holmes Monday night. Rachel looks pretty, yes. But? off. I think it?s the hair. Big up front with a loose braid? This dress (by Andrew Gn) could have had done with a classic chignon. Or even just have the hair loose. The makeup is flawless, though. It just goes to show how difficult it is to f-ck up when you?re working with a face like that.
Once I saw the January cover for Vogue, I did develop another theory about Rachel, though. Maybe the hair issues on the red carpet last night were about her not knowing what to do with sketchy extensions? Because on the cover of Vogue, Rachel is rocking a really cute, cropped, punked-out ?do. I like her better as a brunette, but the cut is lovely. Considering the Vogue shoot was probably a couple of months ago, Rachel has probably gotten extensions since then, probably for a movie, and she doesn?t know what to do with them.
No interview excerpts have come out from Vogue yet, but Rachel was interviewed by Total Film Magazine (via Showbiz Spy) about her supporting role in Sherlock Holmes, and her success in films thus far. Rachel said: ?There?s a balance of some hand guiding you somewhere, and at the same time your own free will and taking the bull by the horns. I do think it?s a combination of the two that gets you wherever you are. And I think there?s a little bit of control, but not much!? Rachel also says she got the role in holmes because she ?hunted Guy down and camped on his doorstep until he relented! OK, no, we had a chat in a garden and it went from there? Fortunately, it worked out for me.? Sweet girl.

She’s no stranger to international travel, and earlier today (December 9) Rachel McAdams was spotted arriving into Heathrow Airport in London, England.
The “Sherlock Holmes” hottie looked a bit drab as she pushed her massive cart of luggage through the terminal as the paparazzi looked on.
Speaking of “Sherlock Holmes,” Rachel and her costars Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. will be hitting screens nationwide on Christmas Day.
And coming up in the New Year, Miss McAdams will be starring opposite Harrison Ford in the romantic comedy “Morning Glory.”

Making her way to the Big Apple, Rachel McAdams was spotted pulling her suitcase as she checked into a downtown hotel NYC on Thursday (October 8).
The “State of Play” hottie looked stylish as she strolled past paparazzi, enjoying a break after recently filming “Sherlock Holmes” and “Morning Glory”.
Meanwhile, Rachel is among the leading ladies to make the cut for Forbes magazine’s “Best Actresses for the Buck” list.
With Naomi Watts garnering the top spot, others to be mentioned include Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly and Natalie Portman.

Continuing their promotional duties, Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana were spotted at a photo call for “The Time Traveler’s Wife” at the Deauville American Film Festival in northern France today (September 5).
The “Notebook” hottie and her hunky costar looked to be having a marvelous time as they struck a few poses for the paparazzi.
Miss McAdams pulled off the cute and casual look, sporting a loose-fitting blue and black striped dress teamed with a pair of black heels, while Mr. Bana went for a shirt/tie/jeans combo.
Last night, Rachel and Eric got all gussied up to premiere their new film at a special screening as part of the festival’s illustrious schedule.

Continuing along with her press duties, Rachel McAdams was spotted paying a visit to “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” in Midtown Manhattan on Thursday (August 13).
Doing her best to boost interest in her new movie, Miss McAdams is looking forward to the release of “The Time Traveler’s Wife” - which hits theaters this Friday (August 14).
Talking about working with her co-stars, Rachel told press, “I was excited and nervous about it because I haven’t done it before. It was a welcome challenge.”
The 30-year-old Canadian actress adds, “The little girls [Hailey McCann and Tatum McCann] in this film were so fantastic. They are real sisters and they made my job really easy. So I didn’t have to work too hard at that.”

Is it just me or does it seem that Rachel McAdams put on her dress backwards? Seriously doesn't it look that is the back of the gown and not the front?
BTW I just love that stare she is giving to her The Time Traveler's Wife co-star Eric Bana as in my eyes are up here. You can see their movie this Friday.

Rachel McAdams showed up to the premiere of The Time Traveler’s Wife and despite what everyone says, she doesn’t look too bad. I’m no designer or have any interest in fashion whatsoever, but adding shoulder pads, giving her big hair and a gaudy pearl necklace would have really completed the ensemble. Also, the front of her dress should be open way more. Maybe past her breasts. Don’t ask me why my designs for women always end up with them topless either. Inspiration like that just comes to me. I guess I have a keen eye for fashion.

Last night was the New York premiere of The Time-Traveler?s Wife. It seems like it was a half-decent red carpet, with several A-listers showing up. There was Brad Pitt, who produced the film, who looked like a reject from Saturday Night Fever. There was Ron Livingston, who is actually one of my favorite actors, and a cutie to boot - if you want to hear me wax on about the beauty of these Irish boys with pale skin and jet black hair, just go to the Seth MacFarlane post. Then there was always gorgeous Eric Bana, looking hot in a good suit. He was with his wife, Rebecca Gleeson, who seemed to be wearing some kind of tie-dyed toga? She?s really pretty, though. She looks too young to have a 10-year-old and a 7-year-old. And she gets to go home to Eric Bana, so I might have some nasty feelings about her.
The person most people will be talking about from this red carpet is none other than newly-single Little Miss Dimples Rachel McAdams. The reason Rachel will be poured over? Because she wore a really weird dress to the premiere. Now, I?m actually a fan of Rachel (don?t kill me) though I think she?s a little bland. I find her to be adorable, in spirit and in physical cuteness. She?s thirty years old - which is a good age for Hollywood. Her style could go either way - she could dress younger, and totally pull it off, or she could dress her age or older and be recognized as an adult actress for adult roles. Unfortunately, Rachel veered too far into the ?dressing older? range. She looks like she pulled something out of Madonna?s cougar closet.
That being said, I do like the dress. It would be gorgeous on a darker, curvier, slightly older woman. Maybe on Eva Mendes, it could be amazing. But on Rachel? All I can see is her flat-as-a-board chest. It does nothing for her petite, athletic figure. And the color?s wrong too. The white just washes her out. Yuck. Someone get this girl a better stylist.

I’ve seen better cleavage on a slab of boromullite! Get it? Boromullite is a mineral that doesn’t even have cleavage! Yep, nothing stings more than a good petrology burn. Plenty more where that came from, baby! Woo!

The “Red Eye” actress was the center of attention as she arrived at the Ziegfeld Theatre sporting a sexy white plunging neckline dress teamed with a pair of black high heels.
Rachel was joined by hunky costar Eric Bana for the big premiere, ahead of the film’s August 14 release date.
“The Time Traveler’s Wife” is a romantic drama about a Chicago librarian with a gene that causes him to involuntarily time travel, and the complications it creates for his marriage.
