Speaking at a gala film evening in London last month, after her position was announced, Scarlett Johansson said: “I am honoured to have been chosen as their ambassador and to make history with the brand, as the first celebrity face of champagne.”Frdric Cumenal, the head of Moet & Chandon, said Ms Johansson was “the obvious choice.”He said: “She, like Moet, has a magical story to tell and makes people dream.”She is a true icon of celebration - refreshingly spontaneous, generous, glamorous and she lives life to the fullest both on-screen and off.”

Scarlett Johansson is Photoshopped to Barbie-levels of body proportion and sexual accessibility in the new ads for champagne maker Moet & Chandon. Scarlett has lost some weight recently. She was seen looking thin at a Moet & Chandon party last week and was overheard talking about her diet. This is after Scarlett said in February that she’s never dieted or gone to a gym in her life. She’s not this thin, though, and it just looks fake and overdone, especially in that shot of her reclining on the couch. Her legs look like toothpicks.
Scarlett is the first celebrity spokesperson for the champagne house. Moet’s president Frdric Cumenal said in a speech at the party last week “Scarlett Johansson was the obvious choice as our ambassador because she, like Moet, has a magical story to tell and makes people dream. I like Scarlett and think she’s sexy enough, but these ads featuring women with vacant come-hither stares have become passe. She looks like an object instead of a real person. Many people commenting on The Huffington Post are saying that her makeup is overdone and the airbrushing is too much. She’s still pretty although it all comes off as a bit plastic.

Scarlett Johansson is on the April 2009 cover of Vogue Paris, looking like she could fall asleep at any second and the magazine labels her “The Anti-Marilyn” (as in Monroe).
Whatever, France. Marilyn Monroe may have been a bipolar pill popping floozy, but she was at least 763% more interesting and charismatic than stupid dumb Scarlett Johansson. The only things ScarJo has going for her are a fantastic rack and a smokin’ husband. From the neck up, she’s usually at least eight kinds of hot mess, and every time she opens her mouth she somehow manages to be both completely jackassy and intensely boring at the same time. Also, nobody wants to be this familiar with her nostrils. Knock it off, France. Go do something useful. Make me some brie. With sliced strawberries. And those tiny toast crackers that taste kinda like unseasoned croutons. Jesus, I’m starving. Fix it, France! Lazy bastards.

Scarlett Johansson attended the Tribute to Cinema in London looking absolutely wonderful. Scarlett hardly ever looks less than stellar so that was a given anyway! I bet it's hard to look that gorgeous all the time. I mean, when you're someone like Scarlett, you gotta have other people do your hair and make-up and pick you your clothes. I can see where it just wouldn't be worth it anymore! Well, many thanks to Scarlett Johansson for keeping that hard work up to look simply amazing!

Scarlett Johansson has signed on to play Black Widow in Iron Man 2 opposite Robert Downey Jr.She replaces Emily Blunt in the film that additionally stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle and the recent addition Mickey Rourke.Blunt opted out of the film on account of her conflicting commitment to Gulliver’s Travels, an adaptation of the classic tale toplining Jack Black.Iron Man 2 is due in theaters May 7, 2010.

Getting some of the hottest lips in Hollywood to help promote their latest venture, Scarlett Johansson joined Dolce & Gabbana for The Make Up as part of Milan Fashion Week on Sunday (March 1).
Greeting excited onlookers, the “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” beauty was all smiles during the promotional event to launch a new lipstick by the esteemed Italian designers.
Meanwhile, rumor has it that Scarlett is looking into joining the cast of the upcoming sequel to the hit movie “Iron Man”.
Supposedly to be playing a character named Black Widow, Johansson is said to have already met with with Marvel Studios about signing on for the blockbuster flick, although no deal has been made thus far.

Scarlett Johansson is gorgeous, but you knew that already. You are not looking at this post to read the obvious. What you want to know is that Scarlett Johansson is the featured beauty in Dolce and Gabbana ads for their cosmetics in 2009. They definitely did themselves a favor in using Scarlett because when you look that good, you can sell anything. Scarlett definitely looks great! Amazing!

Scarlett Johansson has a new interview in In Touch in which she’s promoting her latest film, He’s Just Not That Into You. The film was top at the box office last weekend with an estimated $27.7 million despite mediocre reviews. I like Scarlett and enjoy her interviews because she seems smart, funny and down to earth. Her singing career is misguided to say the least, but no one can be perfect. In her talk with In Touch, Scarlett says she’s happier than ever after her marriage to Ryan Reynolds, but she does share her ire at stories that she’s had plastic surgery, because they’re just not true. Scarlett also denies every dieting in her entire life or even setting foot in a gym. Does that mean she never exercises or just that she doesn’t go to a gym?
Is it hard to maintain privacy?
I have good training about how to keep myself out of the spotlight. And I have friends that I can trust as well as a family who gives me unfailing support. So, it’s not that difficult.
What’s the strangest rumor you’ve heard about yourself?
The plastic surgery stories really drive me nuts.
Why is that?
It’s so false. A photo of me as a 14-year-old is juxtaposed with a photo of me at 24. Then they’ll say: “Oh, the nose looks different!” Why don’t they say: “Oh, did she get new breasts?”
It’s refreshing that you don’t subscribe to the scary-skinny craze in Hollywood.
That’s the biggest nonsense ever! Count me out. I don’t understand what’s supposed to be sexy there. And besides, I like to eat to much.
Do you diet?
I have never been on a diet in my whole life.
Do you have to work out a lot?
I’ve seen gyms only from the outside. I feel very comfortable with my body.
How do you describe your fashion sense?
My own style is, of course, very important to me. I love glamour - I am a girl, after all. When I go to a movie premiere or party, I like to get styled.
What about when you’re at home?
I don’t run around in unaffordable clothes. Jeans, T-shirts and cowboy boots will do. Outer appearance is only of secondary importance to me in real life. Values, the right convictions and the courage to stand up for one’s beliefs are much more important.
Are you optimistic about the year ahead?
Of course. I have a president who I like, a husband I love above everything else and three movies coming out that I’m proud of. At the moment, I am happier than ever before!

I love how she says that she doesn’t “run around in unaffordable clothes”! That’s so nice to hear from a celebrity, although Scarlett has modeled for Louis Vuitton, the ultimate in frivolous brand names. She doesn’t really condemn other people for wearing luxury goods, so maybe it’s not fair to call her on it.
I’m one of those people that really has to exercise and watch what I eat or I gain weight. I find it hard to believe that gorgeous women like Scarlett Johansson can get away without dieting or exercising, but she’s only 24 and things were much easier for me at that age too.
