Beyonce did a new interview with Piers Morgan, and I have no idea when it aired (or whether it has aired yet). But I did find a cute clip where Beyonce is talking about turning ?30? this year (ha!!) and how she ?always said I’d have a baby at 30… I’m 29. But I also said I was going to retire at 30. So I don?t know. Who knows? I’m not retiring.” When Piers presses her on the baby question, Beyonce hedges and says ?Only God knows.? For goodness sake, Bey! It?s like the Jennifer Aniston thing all over - if you don?t want to talk about babies, don?t talk about babies. If you don?t want to have a baby, don?t. But Beyonce has spent YEARS playing this ?Maybe it will happen next year? baby game. I feel like she just doesn?t want to admit to her fans that she?s not ready to take time out from her career to become a mom, because all of the baby-obsessed women will freak out.
Yeah, the part about how happy she is to turn 30 is interesting: ?I feel like 30 is the ideal age, because you’re mature enough to know who you are and have your boundaries and your standards and not be afraid or too polite, but young enough to be a young woman. I’m so looking forward to it.” It?s funny, considering it really seems like she was in her 20s for 14 years. I remember when it felt like she was 27 years old for three years straight. Maybe that was just my imagination. Or maybe she?s already 30-something?

Enjoying her time overseas, Beyonc Knowles was spotted hitting up Harrods department store in London, England today (June 27).
Fresh from her Glastonbury performance, the ?Crazy in Love? songstress smiled for fans as she filmed an episode of ?Life Stories? with Piers Morgan.
Over the weekend, Beyonce helped her sister Solange celebrate her 25th birthday by shipping her 25 pairs of designer shows from Saks and Bergdorf.
Solange had previously told press, "I'm all about the shoes! I order a ton of them online and play with my entire wardrobe until I find the right shoe. Unfortunately, so many people get it right from the head until the ankles. The shoe is very important. I can't even f**k with you if your shoe game is slacking."

Here are some photos from Beyonce?s gig at Glastonbury yesterday. I know I shouldn?t judge Bey by the photos, but I swear she looks unhinged in some of them. There was also a wardrobe malfunction with those black panties she?s wearing, and I caught sight of a hint of Beyonce Biscuits, which I don?t want to discuss and I have not included in this post.
Anyway, you remember how it was reported last week that Beyonce?s label was terrified that her new album was going to bomb, because there were no real radio-friendly ?hits?? The report claimed that Beyonce?s label wanted her to reunite with Destiny?s Child! Well, guess what? No, there wasn?t a reunion, but Bey did do many of her old hits at Glastonbury, including many Destiny?s Child songs, all of which she sang solo. Interesting.
The hoped-for duet with Jay-Z might not have happened - but Beyonc blew most of the doubters out of the water last night with her Bootylicious performance to close the Glastonbury Festival. The star was watched by her rapper husband and friend Gwyneth Paltrow as well as 170,000 people on Worthy Farm in Somerset as she tore through an impressive hour-and-a-half set.
Wearing just black hotpants and a gold belted jacket with her hair blowing curly and free in the evening breeze, she appeared at times overcome with emotion at the reception she was given. And even though she’s more used to playing to fans in slick arena shows rather than to thousands of festival goers stuck in the mud, she appeared to totally win over the crowd.
Playing a greatest hits set of mostly her own and Destiny’s Child tunes, she also covered tracks including Etta James’s At Last, Kings Of Leon’s Sex On Fire and Alanis Morrisette’s You Oughta Know. Bizarrely, she also duetted with Tricky for song Baby Boy, but the Bristol-born rapper looked rather uncomfortable up there with her on the Pyramid Stage. However, she kept fans happy, kicked off with a firework-punctuated Crazy In Love.
She seemed thrilled to be there, declaring: ?You are witnessing my dream! Thankyou for having me and my band tonight, I always wanted to be a rock star and tonight we are all rock stars.’
She also included tracks including Single Ladies - which of course she did the dance to, in her sparkly black high heeled ankle boots - If I Were A Boy, Independent Women, Bootylicious and Survivor as well as new single Who Run The World (Girls) before closing with an anthemic Halo. At the end of her ground-breaking set, she declared: ‘Can I just say “I love you” to Coldplay and U2, and thanks again for this beautiful night, I will never forget it. I love you all!’ She then disappeared into a glowing pyramid at the back of the set - literally built because it was on the Pyramid Stage.
The star - the first female to headline the festival in more than 20 years - was playing with an all-female band including a horn section with some male backing dancers to even things up a bit.
Beyonc had done her homework the night before too, and was seen down the front of the stage in the VIP section with rap star husband Jay-Z last night watching Coldplay wrap up Saturday’s bill on the Pyramid Stage - and perhaps getting some last minute inspiration. Beyonc was seen dressed down in a hoodie dancing and singing along to the band with her husband and frontman Chris Martin’s wife Gwyneth.
She confessed: ‘It made me feel a lot better last night, you realise people just want to listen to great music. I just thought, this is just beautiful. I just thought, calm down girl!’
And she said the weather had worked out well for her too, laughing: ‘I’m happy it was sunny, it was beautiful today!’
The diva closed the three-day bash last night, and revealed that she was so nervous about it, she’d talked about her set with both Coldplay and Friday night’s headliners U2. Talking in an interview on Saturday with the BBC, Beyonc said that she felt privileged to be closing the festival at Worthy Farm in Somerset - and she even didn’t mind the squelchy conditions under foot.
Pronouncing the name of the al fresco fandango as ‘Glaston-berry’, she said: ‘My first impression of Glastonbury, well, it’s fascinating to see everybody in the mud, it’s like they’re all united as one. Everyone’s so free, everyone’s so diverse.’
As for her preparations for her show last night, she said: ‘I’m the biggest fan of U2 and I’m the biggest fan of Coldplay, they are genius, so I’ve spoken to both of them about my setlist. I’m so excited to share the stage with them. For Glastonbury to recognise that women have the power to headline, that’s amazing, and I’m proud that I am the chosen woman. I am going to rock!’
[From The Mail]
If you?d like to see photos of Gwyneth and Jay-Z cheering Beyonce on, go here. Gwyneth does look like Beyonce?s super-fan, but interestingly enough, although Beyonce and Gwyneth were together for Coldplay?s performance the night before, Chris Martin couldn?t be bothered to show up for Beyonce (or his wife) last night. At this point, it just seems like Chris won?t go out of his way to lift a finger for Gwyneth. But it?s nice that Gwyneth came out to support her BFF.

Bringing an end to the music extravaganza that's the Glastonbury Festival, Beyonce Knowles closed out the annual event in Glastonbury, UK on Sunday (June 26).
The 29-year-old beauty commanded the Pyramid stage as she treated the audience to a lineup of past hits and new songs from her upcoming album "4" while also joined by special guest Tricky Stewart.
While there were some Glastonbury fans upset with the choice of Beyonce as a closer, Glastonbury founder and organizer Michael Eavis had no doubts about his selection.
Prior to the show, he told press, "She's going to be brilliant. She's got plenty of support - she has Jay Z with her, and Chris Martin and Gwyneth [Paltrow]. She'll do very well, I'm sure."

I?ve been following some of the scattered news about Beyonce?s new album, 4. When Beyonce?s album release date was announced, and Beyonce began showing up on magazine after magazine, it was assumed that Bey was starting a major push to support her new album. But then some sources claimed that Beyonce?s label, Columbia, wasn?t happy with the album at all, and were considering pushing back the release date so that Beyonce could do more work on it. Now Page Six reports that the label is bracing for this album to be Beyonce?s worst-seller thus far, just because the former hit-machine has created an album with very few radio-friendly hits:
Columbia Records executives fear Beyonc’s new album, “4,” could be a dud after she refused to return to the studio to re-record new tracks, sources say.
“They’re very nervous about Beyonc’s new record,” an industry insider told us. “It doesn’t have the hit songs that her fans are used to. They asked her to make changes, but she said no.”
Bracing for the worst, Columbia suits are strategizing in case of slower sales and have had “quiet discussions” about the reunion of Destiny’s Child.
“Beyonc’s career has stalled a bit,” a source told us. “Columbia seems to think they can get some mileage out of a comeback record with all of the girls.” Another source tells us Destiny’s Child could start recording together as early as October, with a suggested album title “Family Reunion.”
But Kelly Rowland might not be eager to join forces again. Our source said, “She has her own solo career now, why would she want to be singing back up for Beyonc?”
A Columbia rep told us, “All I know is that the record came in . . . Nothing was ever discussed to change it.” Beyonc’s rep said, “All of this is completely untrue. All of it.” Rowland’s rep didn’t get back to us.

I?m not sure all of this ?Beyonce is flailing? nonsense is really necessary. Beyonce is still a very big deal, she just happened to take some well-deserved time off. It?s not like she?s attempting to comeback after some career failure - she just hasn?t released any new music in a while. That being said, the rumors keep on rolling about how this album sucks (hard), and I?m starting to believe it. I thought Beyonce?s first single, “Run The World (Girls)” sounded like Willow Smith - and that?s the ?single? you know?

Beyonce performed in Nice, France the other night and tried to sing Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’ She ended up flubbing a few lines. Turns out you have to know all of the lyrics during live performances and you can’t just mumble parts of it like you can in karaoke or else everyone will be all like, “oh, this professional singer can’t even remember the words to a famous song she planned to sing for her set.” Well, excuuuuse me. What are you? The concert police?
Hey, at least she didn’t whip out her cellphone and read the lyrics. That’s some sort of moral victory, right?

Her live performances are legendary, and last night (June 20) Beyonc Knowles treated her French fans to a memorable evening.
The ?Crazy in Love? songstress rolled in to the City of Nice where she took over the Palais Nikala with her fabulous song and dance show.
Among the selections on the set list were hits like ?Telephone,? ?Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),? ?End of Time,? ?Baby Boy,? and ?Halo.?
Next up for Ms. Knowles is a performance at the Glastonbury Festival in England before she returns to France for more dates.

| Beyonce covers Dazed & Confused, W Mag: does she look tweaked? | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

For the month of July, Beyonce pulled out all of the stops and did two major editorials and covers, likely to promote her fourth album, which is now rumored to be in the midst of a Fall push-back. But no matter about the album - look at the pretty pictures. Or not so pretty, whatever your take. Beyonce appears on the cover of both Dazed & Confused AND W Magazine for July. For D&C, she?s got the blonde hair, but most of the better-quality scans I could find were of the W Magazine shoot (the ones with the longer weave, mostly pulled into a ponytail), so most of the pics here are from W. Here are some highlights from various interviews:
Beyonce on being an icon: ?Being an icon is my dream. It has a lot of responsibilities. I feel like every time I take a picture and every time I perform on stage, I am conscious of my legacy. I?m conscious of the fact it?s going to be around even when I?m not? There are certain things that I just couldn?t do because I?ve worked so hard for my legacy and my career. Probably harder than anyone I know. So I respect it and I take it very seriously.?
On taking some time off from music: ?I needed some time to live. I?ve been signed to the same label since I was 12 years old and never had more than a month and a half off since I was 13. I?ve worked so hard for so many years and just felt like, ?Well, why not??? she told Dazed & Confused about taking time away from the music industry.
More on her time off: ?I had talked about taking a vacation before, but always ended up in the studio after two weeks, so no one believed me. This time, though, I was serious. I was going to give myself a year to do the things I never get to do. Simple things like play with my nephew, pick him up from school, visit museums, go to concerts, see some Broadway shows, learn to cook a meal and spend time with my husband ? Yes, I needed some relaxation, but I wanted inspiration too, from regular everyday things.?
[From Various Sources]
By the way, I?ve just spent way too much time looking at these Beyonce photos, and I?m going to reiterate what I?ve been saying for a few months now: bitch got tweaked. Her face is different, and it?s a subtle difference, but it?s the result of something surgical, or perhaps fillers and injections. My guess is that she got very subtle rhinoplasty, some ?Tox in her forehead, and definitely something in her lips. She still looks like Beyonce, but it?s? different. It’s like Beyonce Kardashian in here. Here’s the W Magazine shoot:

Ready to get her overseas tour efforts underway, Beyonce Knowles touched down at the airport in Nice, France on Sunday afternoon (June 12).
Joined by a burly bodyguard, the "Run the World (Girls)" singer was in a jovial mood as she offered up a big smile while looking stylish in a white jacket, black denim jeans, a black hat and black peep toe high heels.
The travels come as Miss Knowles is set to take the stage in the French Riviera locale on June 20th before churning out concerts slated in Lille, France (June 22) and Amneville, France (June 23).
From there, Beyonce - who is set to release her new album "4" on June 28th - will head to the UK as the headliner of the annual Glastonbury Festival on June 26th.

Continuing to provide her fans with tasty tidbits from her forthcoming album 4, Beyonce Knowles has released a new single.
The ?Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)? songstress unveiled ?Best Thing I Never Had,? and it?s a really great tune.
?Best Thing I Never Had? was written by Kenneth ?Babyface? Edmonds and will definitely appeal to anyone who has been brokenhearted.
The chorus states, ?I wanted you back, I?m so through with that/ Cuz honestly you turned out to be/ The best thing I never had/ You turned out to be/ The best thing I never had/ I?m gonna always be/ The best thing you?d never had.?
