Beyonce flew solo at the Met Gala last night. And by ?solo? I mean without Jay-Z, because I?m pretty sure Bey had some stylists and feather-fluffers around her. Beyonce wore this feathered Givenchy MESS. I know I said Sofia was one of the worst looks (and she was), but can we all agree that Beyonce was probably THE worst of the evening? OMG. I can?t even believe what I?m seeing, that?s how bad it is. I feel like I?m hallucinating. And just think? last year, Beyonce tried to do the ?show-stopping? look of the night too – remember her vinyl dress which was so tight, she couldn?t even move? Think about that timeline too? Beyonce was ?pregnant? at last year?s Met Gala. And now, just a few months after ?giving birth,? Beyonce is at the gala once again, flashing all of her bits and pieces.
Shall we really go through all of the parts of this dress which are made of hideousness? Here?s an honest question: if you took off the purple feathers, would you like this dress more? Obviously, the purple feathers are a fug bridge too far, but even without them, I would hate this look. It?s too sheer, especially from behind. The sleeves and the bodice look too lingerie-y. And the lining throughout the bodice just looks cheap and swimsuit-y, like it was added as an afterthought.
Two more things: the dress has built-in gloves. Is that what it?s called? The sleeves are gloves. Sleeve-gloves. The effect is cheap. Second thing: I really dislike Beyonce?s blonde ponytail. I feel like it?s the same hairstyle Gwyneth Paltrow did for the Oscars.

I enjoy how People Magazine keeps drawing out the excerpts from their ?Most Beautiful? cover story with Beyonce. That cover was two weeks ago, and People keeps putting more and more excerpts online. They really hit the jackpot with this interview – Beyonce talked about more personal stuff than anything else, and many of you are not buying what she?s selling. AT ALL. We?ve already talked about the excerpts regarding Beyonce?s take on the ?fake pregnancy? thing, how Beyonce did not feel beautiful during the ?birth?, and how she breastfed for 10 weeks and then stopped. These new excerpts are about Beyonce and her hair, how Bey doesn?t want Blue Ivy to grow up focusing on ?the aesthetic? and how Bey loves old mascara. Sidenote: I covered a few of these quotes before, but this piece has way more context:
Beyonce remembers first trying makeup when she was 6 years old.
“I was playing in my mother’s makeup,” she tells PEOPLE. “I had blue eye shadow and red lips, and I put crazy blush on. I looked like a clown, but I thought I was so beautiful.”
Her routine has come a long way since then ? the singer often does her own makeup for appearances ? but her love for the basics remains. Asked what she wears to look awake after sleepless nights spent with baby Blue, she replies, “Lip gloss ? I love L’Oral’s Infallible 8 HR Le Gloss in Coral Sands ? and a little bit of blush.”
Growing up around her mom Tina Knowles’s salon, Beyonc learned a lot about beauty. “I like to experiment [with my hair],” she says. “I love playing around with highlights or bleaching the tips. I can cut and style my own hair.”
In fact, she recently gave herself a trim, cutting two inches off her ends. “I just parted it in the middle and chh-chh-chh,” she reveals.
But it’s inner beauty that she values most ? and she hopes her daughter will learn to do the same. “My biggest thing is to teach [Blue] not to focus on the aesthetic,” she says. “It’s really about who you are, and the human being, that makes you beautiful.”
The Secret of Old Mascara
Still, being a superstar means having to focus on the physical. When asked if she’s comfortable leaving the house without makeup, Beyonc says, “Every day in my life is a part of my history, and I’ve worked really hard on my career and my life. So I make sure I wouldn’t be upset if somebody saw me.”
That means her standard lip gloss and blush, plus moisturizer ? “I don’t have to spend that much time on my skin,” she admits ? and sometimes, mascara.
“I’m pretty good at throwing out the expired stuff, but I hold on to my mascara for a long time,” she says. “I actually prefer old mascara. It makes your lashes thicker and longer.”
But regardless of who’s seeing her and where, the star is feeling better than ever. “I have embraced my flaws,” she says. “And I feel more confident.”

As always, I have to ask: are you buying what Beyonce is selling? Is she wearing you down? Or with each new excerpt, are you growing more and more ambivalent towards her? I?ll tell you the truth – before Blue, before the pillowy bump, I was pretty much over Beyonce. She was annoying the hell out of me. But ever since the bump and the baby, she?s just trying so hard, and it really does seem like she?s trying to be more interesting. So? while I don?t believe all of the stuff she?s shilling, I like that she?s trying.
Also – Jay-Z has a new interview about his daughter. Jay appeared on last night?s Oprah?s Master Class: Special Edition, and he talked about how he is as a parent. Jay- said: ?I imagine I’ll take things I learned from my mom and things I’ve learned from raising my nephews and apply that? Then at the end of the day, I just know I’ll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever? Everyone imagines they’ll be a great dad until their [kids are] teenagers. [They say], ‘Get away from me, Dad. You’re embarrassing me.?? I think Blue Ivy will probably be a spoiled kid too, but I think it will be a different kind of ?spoiled celebrity kid? than we?re used to seeing. Blue won?t be a little Suri Cruise or a Willow Smith. Blue is going to break the mold of what we know about celebrity children, mark my words.

For whatever reason, people are still talking about what Beyonce did to take off her ?baby weight? (“pillow weight”). Beyonce tried to discuss her postpartum weight issues, but much like everything else in the interview involving the discussion of her pregnancy, everything seemed slightly? ?off?. It reminded me of that scene in The 40-Year Old Virgin, where Steve Carell?s character is trying to describe what a boob feels like using really weird descriptors and suddenly everyone realizes he?s never touched a boob ever. Anyway, Beyonce told People Magazine that her post-baby weight loss was simple: ?I counted calories. I worked out maybe three to four times a week. I did a lot of walking in the beginning and now I?m running. But I had to work my way up. I couldn?t just go right from being pregnant to running.? So it?s weird that Beyonce?s trainer says something different, right?
It’s hard to believe that Beyonce Knowles gave birth just four months ago.
The singer, 30, confidently showed off her svelte post-baby body in a sexy black swimsuit in St. Bart’s April 9 — and with good reason. Knowles hit the gym five days a week with trainer Marco Borges. “We do cardio and plyometric moves like lunges and jumps on and off a bench, the pro tells Us Weekly.
The 5-foot-9 star, who is breast-feeding, avoids processed fare, sticking to whole foods like vegetables and grilled meats. “You don’t have to eat only celery sticks,” Borges advises. “Be sensible and exercise constantly.?
Currently rehearsing for her first post-pregnancy show on May 25 in Atlantic City, Knowles — mom to daughter Blue Ivy with husband Jay-Z, 42 — “is loving her body!” a pal tells Us.

?Exercise constantly.? Lunges. Jumping off a bench right after you?ve given birth? Sure, maybe the trainer is talking about what Beyonce is doing NOW, not just after she had ?given birth.? Sigh? I don?t even know anymore.
By the way, Beyonce keeps adding photos to her Tumblr. She just added the one of the ?BLUE? necklace yesterday! I kind of like the Blue bling.

PEOPLE just got finished naming Beyonce, a 16-time Grammy winner, actress, style and beauty “icon” and new mother, 2012 World’s Most Beautiful Woman.
The award seems more based on merit and current popularity than anything else. Not that Beyonce isn’t beautiful but given the choice between having sex with Megan Fox and Beyonce and barring the option of doing both at the same time, I’d go with Megan Fox.
The award should be titled, “A-lister with the most publicity generated in the past 4 months.” Though to be fair, that would be a little wordy.

People magazine revealed on the Today Show this morning that Beyonce had been named this year’s “World’s Most Beautiful Woman.” Note they don’t say which world, but it sure as hell isn’t Earth. She’s probably the hottest thing going on Neptune, though. People Magazine says:
“I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth,” says PEOPLE’s 2012 World’s Most Beautiful Woman. “I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth.”
Wow, World’s Most Beautiful Woman. That sounds like quite an honor. At least until you realize the competition on the Most Beautiful list included Kathie Lee Gifford and Michelle Obama.

Call me crazy, but I don?t hate this choice! Beyonce has been named People Magazine?s ?Most Beautiful Woman? for 2012. Previous winners include Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, and Jennifer Lopez (Most Beautiful in 2011). It?s interesting that People Mag is going back-to-back with women of color, a Latina woman in 2011 and now a African-American woman in 2012. It makes sense to choose Beyonce too – she?s become a mom, she?s trying to be more accessible, and she?s been much more in-our-faces over the past year. While I consider Beyonce to be an incredibly beautiful woman, I have my doubts as to whether she would have been named ?Most Beautiful? if not for the whole ?giving birth? and ?bump shenanigans? stuff. This year?s list also includes Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Sofia Vergara and Mad Men’s Jessica Par. Oh, and Lily Collins – you have to look at the photo they selected for Lily. It made me laugh a little. Oh, and Duchess Kate is on the list too! Duchess of Curls is one of the ?most beautiful?? Sure.

Sometimes I really do wish that I could just write ?NO COMMENT (on this whole mess)? and be done with it. Star Magazine has a completely hilarious story about Beyonce and Jay-Z and how they?re totally ready to try for a second baby. Because Blue Ivy is only three months old and Bey is really happy with how ?easy? her pregnancy was, and how ?easy? it was to lose the baby weight. Cough. Cough. Mutter. Cough. Something caught in my throat. Truly.
It?s been just three months since Blue Ivy was born, but Beyonce and Jay-Z are already trying for another little one!
?They see no reason to wait,? a source tells Star. ?Beyonce has said giving birth and dropping the baby weight was far easier than she thought. Everyone in their circle is saying that another baby could be on the way before you know it.?
In fact, insiders say that?s the reason behind the couple?s recent romantic getaway to St. Barts. ?It took them awhile to conceive Blue Ivy, so they don?t want to waste another second,? another source adds.
While the megastars long put music first, Blue Ivy has changed their priorities. ?Beyonce and Jay-Z adore being parents, and they?re as hands-on as they possibly can be,? the source says. ?Beyonce has found a passion other than music, and it?s being a mom.?
And since Beyonce?s career is on the back burner right now, ?it?s in the best interests of both of them to have Beyonce pop out another one before she goes back out on tour,? continues the first source. ?If she gets pregnant soon, they will be thrilled. So will Beyonce pull a Tori Spelling and get pregnant again two seconds after giving birth? Does Beyonce really have no huge career moves planned? No and no. There have already been legit media reports about Beyonce plotting her ?comeback? – it involves a $150 million tour, new albums, filming a movie with Clint Eastwood, and much, much more. Now, I?m not saying that Beyonce can?t do all of that with a pillow firmly strapped on while pregnant. She?s already proven how much she can do while pregnant. Cough. But I?m just saying that it?s probably not going to happen right now.

Though we are used to seeing her out now holding her sweet bundle of joy, Beyonce Knowles was spotted out solo in the Big Apple on Wednesday (April 18).
The "Booytlicious" songstress, who was making her way into the Alternative Education Complex, looked stylish as always in a black fedora, fishnet leggings and sneakers as she attempted to make a quick entrance past the mob of shutterbugs.
The solo outing comes just after the Grammy award-winning singer spent some much appreciated family time together with daughter, Blue Ivy, and sister, Solange Knowles.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the 30 year-old always busy new mom and entrepreneur, made a stylish pit stop at Solange's humble abode on Tuesday for some quality sisterly bonding time.

Beyonce left her NYC apartment with her haute couturecamouflagedbaby yesterday. Not everything was hidden though. You could see her kid’s leg hanging out. So at least we have something to scrutinize for 10 hours over. I can’t wait until Us Weekly brings in their body language expert. Judging by the angle the leg is dangling and the slight curvature of the knee, experts agree that she’s being fed the finest Beluga caviar baby food money can buy.

Looking colorful in a bright yellow and black springtime ensemble, Beyonce Knowles took Blue Ivy out for a visit to her sister's place in New York City on Tuesday (April 17).
The "Run the World (Girls)" singer toted her carefully wrapped daughter in her arms as the mother/daughter duo headed into Solange's Big Apple abode for a visit.
The sisterly bonding time comes after Beyonce enjoyed a fun-filled basketball night out over the past weekend.
The 30-year-old joined hubby Jay-Z and Solange's son, Daniel Julez Smith, at the New Jersey Nets vs. Miami Heat game.
Sitting front row at Newark's Prudential Center, the trio watched on as the Heat beat Jay's Nets squad - after which star player LeBron James took off his sneakers and handed them to Daniel in what was quite the exciting moment for the youngster.
