Not letting the rainy weather get in her way, Beyonce Knowles got down to work during her New Jersey photo shoot on Thursday afternoon (March 31)
Joined by a handful of fellow models, the "If I were a Boy" singer was nearly unrecognizable with her super-blond do, blue eye shadow, plum lips, and seriously 70s garb.
Aside from her Jersey photo shoot efforts, the 29-year-old superstar has chosen Dave Taylor, also known by his DJ name Switch, as one of the top producers on her new record.
Switch has worked on a number of tunes for the Glastonbury headliner, who says she wants to re-invent herself with her fourth album.

In no mood for her picture to be taken, Beyonc Knowles was spotted hiding under a furry hood in New York City on Wednesday (March 30).
Escorted out by her bodyguard, the ?If I Were a Boy? songstress hurriedly walked to her chauffeured vehicle before hopping in and heading out to tend to the day?s agenda.
The sighting happens to be the first since it was recently announced that Beyonce and her father/manager, Matthew Knowles, are no longer in business together
Saying that there are absolutely no hard feelings, the Sasha Fierce performer simply put it, "He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me. I grew up watching both he and my mother [Tina Knowles] manage and own their own businesses. They were hard-working entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps."

Beyonce’s dad, Matthew Knowles, has managed her career since she was a teenager in Destiny’s Child. Now he’s being dropped. Beyonce says it’s nothing personal. Just business.
“I am grateful for everything he has taught me,” Beyonce said in the statement. “I grew up watching both he and my mother manage and own their own businesses. They were hardworking entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps.”
She didn’t say what led to the split, but her father said in a separate statement to the AP late Monday that the decision was mutual.
“He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me,” Beyonce said.
Knowles also got personal in his statement.
“Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success,” he said.
Rarely if ever is anything “mutual”. Well, at least he can focus on his other daughter’s career now. Hahaha. No, but seriously. What was her sister’s name again?

One of the big headlines this morning is that Beyonce’s father Matthew Knowles will no longer be acting as her manager. Why anyone gives a shit about this is beyond me. Us Magazine says:
After a professional lifetime together, the superstar and her father Matthew Knowles have parted ways, with Matthew no longer managing the “Halo” singer.
“I’ve only parted ways with my father on a business level,” Beyonce [said] in a statement. “He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me. I grew up watching both he and my mother [Tina Knowles] manage and own their own businesses. They were hard-working entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps.”
Matthew [says of] the momentous decision: “We mutually agreed to part ways in terms of me managing Beyonce, as my focus is in the investment of Music World Entertainment’s growing gospel and inspirational music division, which includes Top 10 artists Trinity 5:7, Brian Courtney Wilson, Micha Stampley, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Dr. Juanita Bynum.Because of the success of all of these artists, my focus has to be on gospel now.”
There were a lot of words in that statement, not one of them “bikini.” Naturally, I’ve taken it upon myself to rectify that.

She?s always been easy on the eyes, and Beyonc Knowles recently told Cosmopolitan UK magazine the secret to feeling sexy.
The ?Crazy in Love? songstress shared, "Put on good music and something that makes you feel great. I love a pair of high, sexy stilettos with a beautiful dress."
And when it comes to making her husband Jay-Z go out of his mind, Beyonce likes to change things up a bit.
She suggested, "Never be predictable. Mix it up. Surprise him. Change your hair. Be the woman he knows with a little bit of a twist."
Confidence is the key, says Ms. Knowles. "You can be beautiful but if you're not secure in yourself, you don't come across as sexy."

Unaware of what she was getting herself into, Beyonce Knowles has stirred up some controversy with a spread for the March issue of French magazine, L?Officiel Paris.
The ?If I Were a Boy? songstress posed in honor of the magazine?s 90th anniversary and, in tribute to Nigerian musician Fela Kuti, she put on ?blackface? makeup along with tribal makeup and a costume designed by her mother, Tina Knowles.
Defending the controversial spread, the magazine released a statement claiming that the surprising look was "far from the glamorous Sasha Fierce" and explained that it was "a return to her African roots, as you can see on the picture, on which her face was voluntarily darkened."
Not everyone saw it that way, however. One reader said, "Blackface is not fashion forward or edgy and, in my opinion, it is just flat-out offensive."

Fresh off of a long night at the Grammy Awards, Beyonce Knowles
indulged herself in a little retail therapy in West Hollywood, CA on Monday (February 14).
The "Irreplaceable" singer showed off her long legs and sexy curves in a short black dress with bright blue Christian Louboutin heels as she was escorted from shop to shop.
The sighting comes amidst recent rumors stemming from a MediaTakeout report claiming that Miss Knowles is experiencing marital woes with hubby Jay-Z.
Their insider alleged, "For now [Jay Z's] going to be staying in LA. Beyonce will be in NY? The hope is that with the time apart, the couple will decide to either have kids, or go their separate ways."
Denying any such situation, a source close to the "99 Problems" rapper told GossipCop that the entire report is ?b.s.?

After skipping out on the red carpet, Beyonce Knowles was spotted inside the Staples Center venue in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday (February 13).
The ?If I Were A Boy? singer looked glamorous in black as she greeted fellow Grammy Awards attendees including Gwyneth Paltrow, Usher and Janelle Monae.
Beyonce was up for two Grammy awards this year for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her single ?Halo" and for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for Lady Gaga?s ?Telephone? - which she is featured in.
Unfortunately, Miss Knowles went home empty-handed after taking home multiple trophies the previous year.

Beyonce went stag to the Grammy Awards and was seated next to her very dear sycophantic friend Gwyneth Paltrow. She was just seen on Saturday at an event with Jay-Z, though. According to MediaTakeOut, they’re arguing over whether to have kids and have decided to live on separate coasts for a while. If this is true, that won’t help.
MediaTakeOut.com just received some BLOCKBUSTER news . . . from a person close to Jay Z. Jay Z and Beyonce are taking what our snitch calls a “trial separation.”
According to our snitch the couple has been at odds for the last year. The insider explains,”The biggest thing [they argue about] is about kids, [Jay Z] wants them and Beyonce doesn’t. It’s all about her career, and she doesn’t want to slow down.”

I could see Jay-Z and Beyonce at odds over when and whether to start a family. He’s said it’s a priority, she’s either said it’s not or made some kind of hint that she’s trying and it’s not working yet. It’s hard to tell, but she’s probably not pregnant as US reported in October or she would be showing by now. If this is true, these two are going to keep it under wraps for as long as possible. Braving the frigid Big Apple temperatures, Beyonc Knowles was on the go in New York City on Wednesday afternoon (February 2).
The ?If I Were a Boy? songstress looked her usual stylish self in a skirt and heels paired with a leather jacket and hat as she hopped out of a black SUV and disappeared into a Manhattan hotel.
Aside from her daily doings, Beyonce recently chatted with press about ehr new signature scent.
The 29-year-old told press, "I created Heat Rush to bring the feeling of warmth and sensuality to every woman who wears it. It's feminine and sexy, fresh and beautiful."
She added, "I wanted this to be something that made you feel like you could conquer anything, and take over the world.?
