Stepping out for a great cause, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian showed up at the Friend Movement Anti-Bullying Benefit Concert in Los Angeles last night (July 1).
The ?What Have I Done? singer and her ?Samantha Who? hubby looked very affectionate as they posed for the cameras outside the El Rey Theatre prior to the gig.
As for her fuller figure, Rimes told press that she feels confident enough to gain a little weight without freaking out.
"It's nice to have a husband who tells you you're beautiful all the time. I'll say to him: 'I've gained a few pounds' and he'll say: 'Good!'"

Here are some new photos of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian walking the red carpet for the ?Friend Movement Campaign Benefit Concert? at El Rey Theater in LA yesterday. I?m also including some photos of their exit, in which LeAnn looked kind of toasty. I guess LeAnn performed at the event?? Sure. I?m not including any photos of any of the other guests at the event because I didn?t recognize any of the other names. This was not an A-list shindig. Which is fine, because I think this is some kind of ?anti-bullying? charity thing.
The Mail is going on and on about how LeAnn has a ?fuller figure? nowadays. She does seem to have gained some much-needed weight, and her legs and arms aren?t scaring me anymore, so that?s a good thing. I can?t tell if LeAnn got her bolt-ons fixed (they were super-wonky before) or if her weight gain just changed the look of her implants. You know? I don?t know. I?m sure these photos will inspire some people to claim that she could be pregnant. At this point, I kind of think that?s her only option for staying in the news, right?
As I always do, I checked in with LeAnn?s Twitter to see if she had started any fights in the past few days, but honestly, there?s nothing too obnoxious there. She wished Eddie?s mom a happy birthday. She tweeted a photo of some beers. She?s been retweeting some inspirational stuff, and she said she did her fitting for Anger Management and ?Loving my character’s getup! Charlie is a doll. Looking forward to tmrw?. That?s about it.

| LeAnn Rimes, Eddie & Mason see 'Man of Steel?, LeAnn meets with 'acting coach' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some new photos of LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian and Mason Cibrian out and about yesterday in Woodland Hills. Apparently, they went to a matinee of Man of Steel. Is Man of Steel appropriate for a 10-year-old?? Probably. It?s violent, but it?s not gross-out violent and I don?t remember any inappropriate language. It?s just kind of long and the last half has some editing issues. But it?s probably fine for boys that age.
As I always do, I checked LeAnn?s Twitter for a sense of what she?s been up to since I last wrote about her ? surprisingly enough, LeAnn hasn?t been going full-throttle with any Twitter hissy fits that I can see, which is shocking because Spitfire bombed so badly and I would expect her to overreact and overcompensate. But no, she?s keeping it together. Sort of. More on that in a moment. She did tweet this a few days ago: ?Got home, loved on kiddos, worked w/ my acting coach for a few hrs. Now, a workout and cooking dinner. Hitting the ground running.? It was the ?acting coach? thing that caught my eye. You know why she?s meeting with a coach? It?s because she has an acting gig on Anger Management with Charlie Sheen. In Touch has more:
Brandi Glanville is going to have fun with this one! In Touch can exclusively reveal that LeAnn Rimes is playing a white trash redneck girl who winds up in bed with Charlie Sheen on Anger Management.
The country star famously dressed up as a chain-smoking, pregnant bride with her mulleted husband, Eddie Cibrian, for Halloween 201, but now she’s playing a similar character (albeit not knocked up) who gets close to Charlie on the FX show.
“LeAnn plays a Southern, trailer trash type of girl,” an insider tells In Touch exclusively.
As In Touch previously reported, she plays the sister of Wayne, who’s a member of Charlie’s prison group.
“She’s filming on July 2 and is in multiple scenes with multiple wardrobe changes,” the insider reveals.
But there’s one scene that might not require much in the way of wardrobe.
“LeAnn will be in at least one bedroom scene with Charlie,” the insider says. “They end up hooking up!”
Charlie needs a new love interest on the show ? he reportedly had his co-star Selma Blair fired earlier this month, claiming that she’d been complaining about him behind his back.
[From In Touch Weekly]
Not to be rude, but will this character be that much of a stretch for LeAnn? No. Not at all. I was going to make a joke about Charlie and how he probably won?t care for her wonky bolt-ons, but you never know with Charlie. Sometimes he does go for the ?wounded birds? and he ends up defending some really unlikely people. We?ll see.
As for the other stuff with LeAnn, the legal shenanigans, the tanking of Spitfire and her continuous efforts to shut down anyone reporting anything negative about her? well, have any of you ever read Ilana Angel?s columns on JewishJournal.com? Angel is a critic of LeAnn?s, and she has some interesting unnamed sources who give her some interesting tips. Angel has a column about the failure of Spitfire and an update on LeAnn?s lawsuit ? go here for some really interesting reading.

Engaging in some PDA for her man's birthday, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian took his boys to the beach in Los Angeles on Tuesday (June 18).
The "Can't Fight the Moonlight" singer rocked an orange bikini as she snuggled up to her newly 40-year-old hubby while Jake and Mason played in the sand nearby.
Later that day, the 30-year-old songstress got physical, tweeting, "I'm exhausted from volleyball. What an amazing day w/ the fam and friends. Headed to watch the game in our pj's! #NBAFinals."
Earlier this month, LeAnn spoke with Access Hollywood about her handsome hubby, gushing, "He?s incredibly smart, and I really enjoy talking to him, we have really good conversations, he?s a really good guy, and a he?s a fabulous father. He?s got great hands. Everyone notices his dimples, I love his hands. It?s something about them, they are very manly. He?s a sweet man, I love him.?

It was all about LeAnn Rimes this weekend, as it is every weekend. Even more so this weekend because she got to help Eddie Cibrian celebrate his birthday and Father?s Day and of course it was all about HER. I?m including the photos LeAnn posted on Twitter this weekend ? two of the pics involve Eddie?s sons. I know I?m a broken record on this, but it still makes me uncomfortable when LeAnn the Bonus Mom tweets photos of her step-sons. If Eddie was doing it, fine. He?s their father. But LeAnn always goes overboard and it?s just uncomfortable. Here are some selected tweets from LeAnn?s Twitter:
Happy Father’s Day to all the great dads and bonus dads!!!!! Love to you all
Happy 40th birthday to my incredible husband and the best father his boys could ever ask for. We all love you baby @EddieCibrian
Even though our plans changed, we are having the best day! It’s all about THE MAN today! ?
Love this pic and these boys are the light of my husband’s life. He lives and loves to be a dad. #luckyboysluckydad
I love this man….. He’s the big 40, he’s amazing, he’s my everything and more
[Via LeAnn?s Twitter]
So, Eddie is 40 years old now? Wouldn?t it be awesome if suddenly LeAnn decided he was too old and she traded him in for a younger model? Because really, what does Eddie bring to the table? Not much. And LeAnn is desperately trying to ?keep? him and keep track of his wandering dong, and who needs that stress? Better to just throw him over and get someone younger. But of course that won?t happen. LeAnn is a bitter-ender ? if this relationship ends, it will be because Eddie has had enough.

| LeAnn Rimes on singing about cheating 'it was the elephant in the room' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Kaiser passed this LeAnn Rimes story over to me because I think she’s tired of covering it. There is only so much you can take of LeAnn’s hypocrisy. Plus the girl just talks so damn much. She’s been promoting her new album, which just seems like an excuse for her to keep playing the victim and covering the same old ground. It’s exhausting.
The latest in this never-ending saga has LeAnn appearing on The View yesterday. She was of course asked about the personal nature of her latest songs, and she acted like it was the first time she had addressed the whole situation, like ever, when it’s all she’s talked about in interviews for years.
On how open she was about the affair in her lyrics
It was incredibly hard to write. It was kind of like the elephant in the room that I had to address. If I would have gone out and sung songs about everything being happy and fine everyone would have gone like ‘that’s so not true.’
So I mean I really sat through a lot of tears, through a lot of honesty. I didn’t realize I was experiencing these things until I wrote it.
Everything I’ve gone through, this emotional roller coaster ride over the past four and a half years is in song in this record.
On being in the tabloids and being a musician
They’ve had a great time with me. That’s what I love to do [sing]. I’m glad the conversation is changing. Yes I’m approaching these topics through my music, but at the same time… these are real human emotions. I’ve been in this business for 20 years and for the first time I’m approaching this from a human perspective. People always know me for my voice… they’ve never really gotten to know me.
On if the criticism is unjustified
I definitely take my responsibility for the side of things. I definitely think that it’s been a very skewed version of this story and it’s gone on far too long. This album was written two and a half years ago and I am approaching real emotions, it?s not just the situation.
On the lyrics to Borrowed and if she still feels the same
Yeah, that was a moment in time captured through music and of course I know it was wrong. Life is so complicated. Life sucks sometimes. When you grow up in the public eye you kind of – like I said no one really knew who I was. I think that was also half my responsibility to figure out who I was and it was hard. It was incredibly complicated. I think finally, through my music and through my life, first time I’m kind of settled a little bit more. It was nice.
On her rehab stint
I wasn’t going in for anything other than anxiety and stress. I lived this life I had a lot of emotions I hadn’t dealt with growing up in the public eye. Writing this record I opened up a can of worms I didn’t even know was there. There was a lot of really deep things I wanted to go take care of myself. I’d taken care of everyone else, I wanted to pause.
On if she has found peace
It depends on the day.. acceptance is an amazing thing.
On being a stepmom to Eddie’s kids
For us, it’s fantastic. We’ve been able to build this life that we’re very happy with, this family that we’re happy with. Those kids are so amazing and they’ve always been so respectful and accepting. I’m lucky, I really enjoy them. We have them half the time. It’s not easy at all.
On getting along with Brandi
As any stepmom would understand, it depends on the day.
[From The View video]
I watched it, you can watch it at about 25 minutes into this video on Hulu if you’re in the US. All I heard was “me me me, my struggles, my problems, my life is hard and you don’t know me.” Plus she focused so much on getting her side out, as if she hasn’t done that pretty much nonstop on Twitter and interviews. It is tiring! It’s ridiculous. If cheating was an elephant in the room, it was one she dressed up and trained to act in her own personal circus. She thinks we don’t “know” her, but we’ve watched her beg for attention for years, and we’ve heard her say the same things over and over. We know her, she just tries too hard to be something she’s not.

LeAnn Rimes appeared on Good Morning America yesterday. She was full of it. I couldn?t even get through the whole interview because if I rolled my eyes one more time, it was going to give me a seizure. Obviously, LeAnn was promoting Spitfire, which is still getting okay-to-positive reviews, which is absolutely a mystery to me. I?ve heard parts of ?Spitfire? and ?What Have I Done? (which LeAnn sang for GMA) and they?re both terrible songs. Should we have different standards for country music? I don?t think so ? while I?m not a big country music listener, I can listen to Carrie Underwood or Miranda Lambert and I understand why their hit songs are so popular. I don?t understand it with LeAnn?s current songs. At all.
As for the interview, LeAnn told Robin Roberts, ?I went through every emotion you can imagine in the last four and a half years and that?s what comes through. It was a roller coaster ride, as you can imagine?. It finally felt like I ripped that tape off my mouth and had something to say. But at no one else?s expense but mine. This is just the truth.? O RLY? ?No one?s expense but mine?? ?Just the truth?? LeAnn really does live in her own little world. LeAnn also hilariously defended her Twitter addiction, saying it?s ?just life. I?ve approached everything I?m a human being. I have the right to share my happiness and my failures like everybody else.? Here?s the interview:

| LeAnn Rimes, drama queen: 'We don't like drama & we don't want to be part of it' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I really think these photos ? of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian doing a joint interview on Extra ? are going to become my new go-to photos for LeAnn. She was just making the weirdest expressions throughout the appearance. Good times. As for that Chelsea Handler interview which I partially covered yesterday ? as it turns out, LeAnn wasn?t wearing underwear. She basically said that to Chelsea. Chelsea asked LeAnn about tweeting Brandi and LeAnn said, ?She tweets a lot to herself. And I just kind of sometimes reply when there?s a ton of lies always spread about me. I just have to spurt it out.? LeAnn also said that she and Brandi ?don?t speak? and ?When everything you do or don?t do becomes a tabloid story how can you actually co parent? How do you speak to someone?? And of course there?s more:
How times have changed! Unlike in years past, LeAnn Rimes rarely responds to husband Eddie Cibrian’s ex-wife Brandi Glanville via Twitter. Speaking to Us Weekly while promoting her new album Spitfire, the 30-year-old country music superstar explains how she’s learned to ignore the 40-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s online antics.
“The thing is, Eddie and I are very proud of the home and family that we have. We don’t like drama, and we don’t want to be part of it,” says the two-time Grammy winner. “We can’t control the people around us, but we can control we handle drama, and we’ve made a very peaceful life for ourselves and I’m very happy with that. There’s a lot of drama on the outside and we’ve finally learned how to not let it in.”
Rimes, who recently moved into a new house with the Hot in Cleveland guest star, adds that they “love to just stay in and be away from it all.” Though Glanville often criticizes her sons’ “bonus mom” in interviews, Rimes has grown tired of letting their family drama play out in the press.
“I definitely have to bite my tongue a lot of the time,” the Mississippi-born, Texas-raised star admits. “There’s a fine line because I don’t want to be run over and I do stand up for myself. But I also don’t want to feed into the drama. I did say, ‘I do music, not drama.” I don’t need drama to have a career. And so I plan on, as much as possible, to not feed into it. Like I said, there will be moments I don’t hold back from standing up for myself.”
Glanville has often complained about co-parenting sons Jake, 10, and Mason, 6, with Cibrian and Rimes, a problem that’s been exacerbated by publicly bashing her ex and his new wife. “It’s really hard to communicate when you’re afraid that someone is going to take something, twist it and use it in the press,” Rimes tells Us. “There’s a reason why I don’t — we don’t — speak right now. And I hope that things like someone tweeting about not being able to get ahold of their kids will subside at some point and not be used as drama.”
“I think if our lives were not played out so publicly that way, then we would be able to communicate better,” Rimes adds. “But, at this moment, that’s not [the case].”
The “Borrowed” singer tells Us she would rather focus on her music than on feuding with the Drinking and Tweeting author. “It’s time for the conversation to change,” Rimes says. “I do music. I don’t blow up drama for the sake of a career.”
[From Us Weekly]
For the love of God. Does she know how ridiculous she sounds? I will admit that I think Brandi Glanville ?starts? some of this stuff, but I really believe that ? let?s say ? 75% of the time it?s just LeAnn being a drama queen, starting her own ?war? and being really ridiculous. I mean, let?s take an example from this past weekend ? Brandi tweeted a few cute photos of the birthday party she threw for one of her sons. She didn?t direct the tweets to anyone, there was no shade, it was just ?hey, this is my son?s birthday cake? etc. LeAnn then went completely overboard trying to ?one-up? Brandi by tweeting about the cake she got for Mason and going on and on (complete with photos and Vine videos) about the birthday celebrations SHE hosted. What?s so funny to me is that Brandi has to expend so little energy to get under LeAnn?s skin, and it feels like LeAnn spends 24 hours a day, 7 days a week trying to figure out how to ?respond?. LeAnn is a vortex of narcissism and self-perpetuating drama.

She?s been on a promotional whirlwind tour all week, and yesterday afternoon (June 5) LeAnn Rimes showed up on the set of ?Extra? in West Hollywood.
Joined by her husband Eddie Cibrian, the ?Can?t Fight the Moonlight? singer performed her latest single ?Spitfire? from her new album of the same name, much to the delight of the folks looking on at The Grove.
Later on, LeAnn headed over to the set of ?Anger Management,? where she?ll guest star alongside the notorious Charlie Sheen.
Rimes tweeted, ?Going now to shoot promos for my gear spot on @AngerMgmtFX Charlie was supposed to be there but he?s a little busy today! Drama queen j/k,? followed by, ?I?ve never walked onto a nicer set of people @AngerMgmtFX Looking forward to shooting next month!?

Here are some photos of LeAnn Rimes from her Twitter, of course. Note that she got Eddie to pose for some photos too. Anything in service of Spitfire! LeAnn performed on last night?s Tonight Show, because Spitfire is already out (?) and she?s got to promote that junk. Surprisingly, the reviews of Spitfire aren?t all bad. The Hollywood Reporter calls it ?the best country record of the year? and THR also did a sit-down with LeAnn where she explains the background on many of the album?s songs ? she sounds really self-absorbed in the piece, but whatever. Here?s LeAnn?s performance of ?Spitfire? ? skip over to the last block of time, because the Tonight Show hasn?t released the performance as a clip yet. I?m sorry! You?ll have to watch the ads, which sucks.
Eh. It was a decent performance of a really annoying song. I don’t get why critics are claiming that this is some kind of quality country music – yes, LeAnn’s voice is still decent, but her songwriting abilities are questionable. LeAnn claims that ?This album is at no one else’s expense but mine. I didn’t go out and lash out at anyone, or put names in my songs.? Yeah. I don?t know if you?ve heard or read the lyrics to many of the songs, but LeAnn is definitely taking aim at Brandi too.
Here are some more creepy Vine videos, because I know you love them:
