It?s LeAnn Rimes? birthday. Today. Not yesterday. Not this past weekend. Not a week ago. Today. I?ll totally understand if you didn?t even realize that LeAnn?s birthday was today, because LeAnn has been tweeting about her 30th birthday for ? NO JOKE ? more than a month. We even covered some of her ?early birthday celebrations? last week, in which LeAnn wore a bikini and drank tequila, which? happens pretty much every day in LeAnn?s life. Anyway, ?somehow? LeAnn managed to get People Magazine to cover her 30th birthday party (one of many), and People wrote up a nice article and they even managed to get some exclusive video (which you can see here).
When LeAnn Rimes turns 30 on Tuesday, she won’t be missing her 20s one bit.
“Die, 20s, die!” was the theme of the country star’s birthday party, which she celebrated with 20 friends and family members at a private Laguna Beach, Calif., home on Aug. 18.
“I’ve been ready to leave my 20s behind,” she tells PEOPLE. “I had so many amazing things happen in my 20s, and I also had a lot of hard lessons to learn.”
“I really have been truly excited about turning 30. I’m ready to be stronger than ever. It’s a new chapter,” adds Rimes, who shared an exclusive video of her birthday bash with PEOPLE.
Rimes’s husband, Eddie Cibrian, was there to give his wife a kiss after she blew out the candles on a birthday cake, which was topped with a mini-version of Rimes in a bikini standing atop a coffin. “I’m stompin’ on my 20s, stompin’ ‘em out,” she says.
Rimes, who is gearing up for the upcoming release of her latest studio album, Spitfire and a fall tour, says she found the cake topper designed by a friend “hysterical.”
“It’s funny that people have this obsession with me in a bikini,” she explains. “I’m on the beach. What am I supposed to wear?”
“I grew up with chronic psoriasis my whole life and the last six years is the first time I’ve actually been super healthy: my skin is clear, I’m taking care of myself, and since I’m turning 30, between psoriasis and my [bottom] sagging, I only have a few more years to do it so I might as well wear one,” she says with a laugh.
Birthday Gifts
In addition to the sweet smooch, Cibrian, gave his wife another early birthday present: a rose gold and diamond Cartier “Love” bracelet.
“I’ve always wanted one. I cried so hard when he gave it to me,” says Rimes. “He’s always so thoughtful.”
Another memorable present? “A friend I’ve known since I was 15 had everyone make a little video about their favorite memory of me, and he put it all together. It made me cry for half a day,” says the birthday girl. “I have a beautiful life ? I am lucky.?

LOL. Just? LOL. There are so many details that made me giggle. Like, the exhaustive explanation of why she always wears bikinis ? she?s on the beach! She can only wear bikinis for a few more years! She has skin problems! She?s just like us! Etc. But I love the part about her birthday present. I wonder how Eddie knew what she wanted for her birthday? Maybe he knew because she picked it out, bought it and told him to wrap it and give it to her for her birthday? Because seriously, can Eddie even afford to buy a Cartier bracelet? That being said, I can?t believe LeAnn hasn?t tweeted a photo of the bracelet yet. Remember when she tweeted a photo of her fug-as-hell ?anniversary ring?? I miss LeAnn?s photos. Truly. She?s just launched a new members-only site in which members have to pay $12 for the privilege of seeing LeAnn?s exclusive photos and reading her mind-numbing thoughts. I was going to offer some kind of prize for anyone who wants to join the site and forward me all of LeAnn?s thoughts and photos, but really? I don?t think this will last very long. I?ve gone on LeAnn?s Twitter a few times over the past week, and she?s been tweeting constantly about her birthday ? which hasn?t even happened yet. Her birthday is August 28th. Why does she get a month of celebrations again? Is it because she?s turning 30? Ugh. I HATE HATE HATE that she?s a Virgo too. She gives Virgos (like me) a bad name. LeAnn is the dark side of the Virgo sign ? for the most part, we?re extremely logical and anal retentive, but some people in our sign veer off into full-blown CRAY. Anyway, LeAnn tweeted the header photo with the note, ?HUGE thx to @donjulio for providing the tequila and awesome mixologist for my 30th bday!!!? I mean? yes, that?s how everyone should spend their birthday ? drunk and wearing a bikini. But what?s the difference between LeAnn?s birthday celebration and her regular life?
Anyway, in between tweeting about her birthday and tweeting about HER boys (?Jakes’s first day of kindergarten and Mason’s first day of 4th grade! They rock! Such big boys now!!! #success?), LeAnn tweeted a link to a new interview she gave to the U-T San Diego. Enjoy:
Q. Tell us what you?ll be doing at The Salk.
A. I know I?m going to be performing with a symphony, which is something I love and don?t get to do very often. I like doing these more intimate shows because I always feel like I?m sitting in my living room, hanging out with friends. I?m sure it?s going to be a beautiful night.
Q. You?ve been performing for more than half of your life, how do you attribute your longevity as a singer?
A. It?s always been an up-and-down ride, like a roller coaster. But recently, I?ve been growing as a writer and a producer, and that keeps things interesting. I feel like as I get older and go through ups and downs in my personal life, I don?t need to explain myself so much anymore, it just naturally comes out through my music.
Q. All those recent magazine pictures of you and your family at the beach, is that here in San Diego?
A. No, we?ve been around Newport on a family reunion. It?s the first time we?ve all been together in a long time. It took 30 years to get here, but we?re here and it?s so nice.
Q. You dealt with your own scandal when you got divorced and married Eddie (Cibrian). How did you survive your personal life on display?
A. People get sick of it eventually. Now they?re waiting for us to get pregnant and the magazines write all these stories about us that aren?t true. But it?s just part of what I do. I didn?t have to deal with it when I was younger because this whole reality television/tabloid world wasn?t so big then. People are always going to talk and say what they want and they can have at it. My husband, my family and I, we have our own truth and that?s the one that matters.
Q. You?re turning 30 soon, how are you feeling about it?
A. I?m excited, it?s something that?s going to be a whole new beginning, a whole new chapter. I?m working on a new album and it?s a labor of love, I?m so happy with it.
Q. Can you give us any details about the record (which is planned to be released in February)?
A. I don?t think people have ever seen me this honest. I?m excited for everyone to hear my truth about the way I see things and the way I live my life. I think you?ll understand a lot more about me after you listen.

I could parse her statement about ?surviving with her personal life on display? for a long, long time. I read the tabloids every week ? she doesn?t have to worry about the tabloid coverage, like, at all. She barely registers at this point in the tabloids. It?s the blogs she has to worry about. I do have moments where I feel some sympathy towards LeAnn Rimes. I know, I know, go ahead and yell at me. I think LeAnn is willfully delusional and crazy as all get out, but she has to deal with both fans and ?enemies? who can battle her crazy-for-crazy. A great example? LeAnn puts her insanity out into the world via her Twitter feed every single day. LeAnn is ALWAYS on Twitter. It?s pretty much her life. The problem is that when someone puts so much of herself into Twitter, when someone trolls that person, it?s really difficult for someone like LeAnn to simply ignore it. Yes, someone trolled LeAnn and she feed them. And it was? just a mess, from start to finish:

After Laura James mentioned Rimes in a Tweet, noting that she ?cheated with Ed & broke up her marriage and his,? the country star immediately rushed to defend herself and her marriage to Eddie Cibrian.
?correction?we broke up our own marriages,? she responded, also stating that ?people have nothing better to do than judge something they know nothing about.?
?Well, then u better prove to others what u did was right by staying together so u can get ur fan base back. Otherwise the breakups & your marriage were all for nothing,? Now, I went through LeAnn?s Twitter feed for like a full five minutes (five whackadoodle minutes that I will never get back), and I couldn?t find any of these tweets. Somehow, The Mail managed to get screencaps of them, which you can see here. Even without the screencaps, I already believed the story though. Because A) LeAnn is dumb enough to feed the trolls and B) All of this sounds like Classic LeAnn. She even included some of her mantras: ?No one is perfect? and ?You can?t break what?s already broken? and ?it?s all lies?. My favorite is ?All I need to speak to about me and my sins is the good lord.? That?s right, y?all. Only the good lord can judge LeAnn because it?s all lies except for the true stuff but that only happened because no one is perfect and because both marriages were already broken!! Y?ALL!!! Anyway, please, stop trolling LeAnn. In the end, you?re just feeding her persecution complex. And when LeAnn feels persecuted, she just maniacally tweets random crap about bullying, interspersed with bikini photos. And no one needs that.

They love to show off their fit figures, and yesterday (August 12) LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were at it again in Newport Beach, California.
The ?How Do I Live? singer was all about prancing around in her skimpy two-piece bikini while her husband gave the world a look at his pecks and six-pack in his board shorts.
Earlier in the day, LeAnn and her best friend Liz headed over to Fashion Island for some serious retail therapy while shutterbugs followed along.
Ms. Rimes also tweeted that she?s one step closer to releasing her new record- ?Album artwork is DONE! It looks so cool! @HertelSara.?

LeAnn Rimes has been going through some dental drama. It feels like this drama has been going on forever ? hasn?t she been canceling ?concerts? all over the place because of her teeth issues? But last week the dental drama took on a new sense of urgency as LeAnn basically live-tweeted her procedures and her recoveries. You can read about last week?s drama here. Apparently, LeAnn is still in the midst of even more dental drama this week too. But that didn?t stop her from putting on a bikini and tweeting the header photo from the beach with the note, ?Nothing like the beach! It cleanses the soul. Sun and sand heals all?. This is in between tweets about how much pain she?s in and how she?s on the beach playing volleyball. Because why not? Some selected tweets:

You know what strikes me most about her bolt-on & bikini photo? Her mouth looks the same. No puffiness, no bruising, nothing to indicate this major oral surgery that has been going down. I do like that her mustache is glistening in the beachy sunlight, though. I always love that.

I know it?s for the ?NO H8? campaign and everything, but LeAnn makes everything about LEANN, right? She?s so shallow and narcissistic, she honestly believes that she is the ultimate victim in every situation, so I?m assuming that ?NO H8? is basically about ?Don?t bully LeAnn by pointing out how delusional and crazy she is.? Also ? I?m sorry, but NO ONE should push out their bolt-ons and angle their ribcage like that for a promotional photo for a bullying campaign. It seems less like ?stop bullying? and more like ?We turned this photo shoot into some kinky sex game involving duct tape and bolt-on cleavage.?

Stepping out for some delicious eats, LeAnn Rimes had lunch at a local restaurant in Malibu, California yesterday afternoon (July 22).
The ?How Do I Live? songstress wasn?t shy about showing off her lovely legs in a pair of short denim cutoffs as she carried a to-go bag back to her car.
Over the weekend, LeAnn captivated a crowd at the Stanislaus County Fair in Turlock, California with a hit-laden set list.
The gig was part of Rimes? national tour, and she?ll also play shows in Verona, New York and Naples, Florida along the way.
After the gig, she tweeted, ?SUCH a beach bum today! Got home at 4:30 am from tour and all we wanted to do was enjoy a moment of peace w/ our friends in the sun.?

Yeah. I totally spoke too soon when I wrote Wednesday?s post about LeAnn Rimes actually managing to go on vacation without getting pap?d constantly. Here are photos of LeAnn throughout the week, on vacation in what the photo agency describes as ?on the dock of cabin? in Los Angeles.? Are LeAnn and Eddie actually in LA? Does LA have woodsy areas by a lake-looking body of water? Because I have a conspiracy theory ? LeAnn and Eddie are on vacation *somewhere* and LeAnn just arranged for this photo shoot with a particular photographer and she?s pretty much bankrolling the whole exertion for everybody, paparazzo included. Anyway, I just thought I?d admit it ? I was wrong. LeAnn hasn?t changed her crazy, famewhore ways one little bit. She still demands paparazzi attention even when she?s on vacation, and even if she pretty much has to pay the photographer to take her photo.
Anyway, I think these photos span three days of pose-harding on the dock. I spy at least five wardrobe changes or variations ? LeAnn had to make sure the photographers got different shots in different outfits! There were two bikinis in the mix (although it didn?t seem warm enough for bikinis, but whatever), one pair of jeans, one jacket, and one star-spangled crop cover-up. I?m sure all of you eagle-eyed LeAnn/Brandi-watchers will have the details on which items LeAnn has copied from Brandi. I eagerly await your analysis.
Oh, and is it just me, or is that an especially sketchy bolt-on situation happening here? That fluttery bikini makes it seem like LeAnn?s bolt-ons have migrated higher on her chest and then off to the side. It?s almost enough to make me feel pity for Eddie. Almost.

Soaking up some serious sun rays, LeAnn Rimes relaxed at a vacation home in Los Angeles earlier this week.
The ?Can?t Fight the Moonlight? songstress couldn?t seem to choose which bathing suit to wear, so she ended up donning them both throughout the afternoon spent with her husband Eddie Cibrian and some friends.
LeAnn?s first bikini was a peach two-piece with drawstrings and crocheted ruffles, and the second skimpy swimsuit looked a bit more sporty, including a turquoise halter top and matching bottoms.
Rimes also posted a photo of her hubby?s sons, Mason Edward and Jake Austin, along with the caption, ?These 2 sweet boys today just sitting on the doc talking. They are so their dad's. They'll sit there again 1 day as men.?
