Thanks to everyone for the millions of tweets I got about this new LeAnn Rimes interview. I always enjoy being included in the LeAnn Loop(y). Anyway, yes, LeAnn gave a new interview to PrideSource, which is basically supposed to be naked pandering to a gay audience so they will hopefully pick up her stupid ?dance? album, Dance Like You Don?t Give A?. You can read the full piece here, and here are some highlights:
Going to gay clubs, performing to gay crowds: ?Yeah, it’s so much more fun to me, and it’s also kind of selfish – you go there and have all these sweet men who are like, “We love you!”… It’s different when you go into a place with thousands of gay men. The one thing I think we have in common is non-judgment. The last thing you wanna do is be judged. And the last thing I wanna be is judged, especially when I’m performing, so for me the most freeing experience was that.?
Gay men love Eddie? ?Yes. I’ve always said that Eddie and I are a gay man’s wet dream. I sing, you can look at him, and it’s perfect.?
Whether Eddie ever gets hit on when she brings him to gay clubs: ?I don’t think that’s ever happened, but I’ve definitely watched him get looked up and down in every way, shape or form … so yeah, basically hit on. It’s hysterical seeing these guys freak out over him. For me, I laugh so hard, because Eddie is really pretty cool about it all, but sometimes he can be shy and uncomfortable, and I love to see him in that element. It’s completely not his element, but he knows how to work it.?
She honestly thinks the VH1 show will shut down criticism: ?With the new show on VH1, and these eight episodes that we filmed, you really do get to see the story that is us and not some soap opera that people have made up because it sells magazines. And it’s hard to sit back and not be combative about it, but there’s so much and only so many times you can say, ?That’s a lie,? because it all is. To be able to take control of it in a way and laugh about it, which we do, has become very much a coping mechanism. So, with the show, the tide is turning, thank goodness, and it makes it harder for people to go, ?Oh my god, they’re horrible people,? but to maybe stop and think for a minute. I’m hoping with the show the conversation will turn back to music, because we’re like, ?OK, chapter closed.?
The third party: ?I think my whole life is really just a misconception. Like I said, we have been drug through so much and portrayed whatever way they (the press) feel works for them that week – and also, there has been a third party (Brandi Glanville, Cibrian’s ex-wife) – and so, the whole thing is a misconception. But the good thing about the show is all of these misconceptions kind of just crumble.?
[From Pride Source]
First: ?Eddie and I are a gay man’s wet dream. I sing, you can look at him, and it’s perfect.? I think that statement just caused a lot of gay and straight people to vom a little bit. That?s always a bad sign too ? when the gay community isn?t even interested in a cute guy with dimples anymore. I feel like gay men look at Eddie and think, ?Sleazy hot mess. Trouble.?
As for LeAnn?s near-constant talking point that the VH1 show is really changing everybody?s misperceptions and how everything the tabloids say about her marriage is made of lies, blah, blah, blah? she?s an idiot. I was going to make some lengthy argument about it, but why put in the effort? You know she?s an idiot. I know she?s an idiot. Eddie knows she?s an idiot. Let?s all move on.

Some of you have mentioned this in the comments, but it?s interesting to see it confirmed in one of the tabloids. This week?s Star Magazine points out that the luxurious Malibu home where LeAnn & Eddie film their VH1 series is not in fact their real home. Many reality stars do this ? I don?t believe the Kardashians use the real exteriors of any of their houses for their reality shows, unless the house is a temporary rental (and even then, maybe not). Star says that LeAnn?s real Malibu house is less expensive and more ?rustic? (which is code for ?it?s a rundown shack?).
LeAnn Rimes & Eddie Cibrian need to put the real in real estate. Star has discovered that the $5.25 million ultra-modern Malibu house they flaunt on their VH1 reality show isn?t actually where they live.
?That house ups the glamour and makes LeAnn and Eddie look like they?re living the high life,? tattled a source. ?They want people to think they?re rich, but the truth is, they live in a much older, rustic house and definitely aren?t swimming in money.?
But they should enjoy the luxe digs while they can ? the show?s low ratings mean there may not be a season two!
[From Star Magazine, print edition]
LeAnn owns at least two properties in California, right? She owns a Malibu house (?shack?) and some house in the suburbs, like in a gated community or something. Plus, she either owns or rents a place in the mountains I think. And she sold her Tenneessee property at a huge lose back in 2012. Sorry, I?m just trying to keep it straight. Well, I?d say that someone who owns multiple properties in California probably isn?t too poor, although I?ll buy the idea that LeAnn wants to look wealthier. I wonder if VH1 is paying for the Malibu rental? Probably.
This also reminds of how LeAnn can?t make up her mind about whether the show is ?scripted? or not. It definitely is scripted (and I feel sorry for those poor writers), but LeAnn has been insisting for a few weeks that it?s not scripted at all. She probably also insists that the modern Malibu house is really her home and that Eddie has never cheated on her too.
Oh, and LeAnn’s rep went to RumorFix to deny the story… except not really. He rep says the house is a rental and it’s not where they really live, but LeAnn and Eddie didn’t want to use their own house because they “didn?t want to disrupt the boys lives by shooting at their real house.? And if VH1 is paying, why not.

Here are some photos of LeAnn Rimes at LAX over the weekend. That hat! Ugh. Anyway, LeAnn is still on promotional duty for the VH1 show, and as I said last week, I?m enjoying the fact that the press has been spread out over the course of a month, and it?s not like LeAnn has twenty new interviews a day where she?s just hee-hawing the same nonsense over and over again. One of the newest interviews is this Q&A she did with Fox News ? go here to read the full piece. There is some new information in here. Some highlights:
Whether she?s lost touch with her Southern roots: ?No, that?s bulls–t! It?s so funny. I guess it depends on who I?m around and what I?m around. I grew up in Texas and Mississippi, so I have those kind of roots in me. I have so much that I?ve been influenced by from traveling the world. I?m really kind of a mutt. When I get around my mom and my southern friends, I start to get an accent again. I can totally be redneck with the best of them, and I can be totally as posh as possible.
Whether she researching marketing her own line of bikinis: ?Yes, I have! And I?ve been researching that a little bit more as we speak?. I mean, I?ve worn so many bikinis that I know what works and what doesn?t. I know what I like and I know what?s missing in the marketplace. We shall see! I hope that it comes to fruition?. I?m an earthly girl. I love very natural colors– nudes and golds. Beautiful, feminine and classy.
How many bikinis she owns: ?Oh, a lot! The other day, I said I had 80 pairs of shoes and Eddie was like, ?No way. You have at least 140 pairs of shoes.? So, I started counting and I told him, ?Babe, I stopped counting at 200.? So, that?s pretty much the same thing with bikinis. I?d like to say that I don?t have a ton, but I know I do.?
Whether her step-sons watch the VH1 show: ?They haven?t watched the show. But like (on the episode where I return to Tennessee), I feel totally comfortable letting them watch. They already are exposed to so much outside our home. We don?t let any magazines inside our house when it comes to tabloids. We don?t ever turn on the TV and watch “E! News” or anything like that with them around because you never know what?s going to pop up. We didn?t go out of the way to dig at anyone.?
Whether she?s heard from Brandi Glanville about the show: ?Like, privately? No. We actually don?t speak, really. Eddie and her talk over email about the kids, but other than that– no. She?s free to say anything she wants, and she does. So she?ll talk about it, eventually.?
[From Fox News]
Her answer about whether her step-sons watch the show is classic LeAnn. ?No they don?t watch it and here?s why I?m comfortable letting them watch it.? It?s sort of like, ?No, we?re not having an affair but we?re having sex and I love him.? That being said? her Brandi answer was decent. She managed to avoid taking the bait and running with it like a crazy woman. Much better, Wewe. This was ridiculous though: ?I can totally be redneck with the best of them, and I can be totally as posh as possible.? No, LeAnn. You?re never posh.

I?m about to give LeAnn Rimes credit for something nice: I kind of think the publicity campaign for the VH1 show has been pretty good. I?m comparing it to LeAnn?s publicity tours for other works, like her last major album launch (Spitfire) and her various ?We In Love? tours over the years. Just last year, LeAnn oversaturated the market very quickly when she was promoting Spitfire, and the ?all about Wewe, all the time? vibe was one of the reasons the album did so miserably. Plus, LeAnn plays the victim about everything ? she?s the eternal martyr and no one ?understands? all of the terrible things she?s had to put up with just to be with Eddie. There?s been a lot less of all of that during the promotional tour for the VH1 show. It?s a sweet relief.
One of the good things about this campaign is that LeAnn and Eddie are spreading out their press over the course of a month. It?s not like they?re doing all of the major shows and magazines in one week?s time. This week, they?ve got an exclusive interview with People Mag. It would have been okay except that LeAnn is still a delusional martyr.
The photographers are all over LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian these days ? but this time, they’ve invited them. The tabloid targets have welcomed VH1?s cameras into their Los Angeles house to shoot LeAnn & Eddie, giving the duo a chance to dispel misconceptions about their romance. The country singer and the actor (who most recently starred on TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland) married in 2011.
“People are always wanting to make it a story of me being a homewrecker and trying to take someone’s kids,” Rimes, 31, tells PEOPLE. “They take the love I have for my family and twist it around in some weird, sick way.”
Although their series won’t feature Cibrian’s kids ? Mason, 11, and Jake, 7 ? from his previous marriage to reality star Brandi Glanville, he says it will show how fiercely devoted he is to his singer wife.
“The biggest global misconception would be that we’re not two people who are really in love with each other, that there are ulterior motives to our relationship,” says Cibrian, 41. “But people just don’t get it. Hopefully people will get a chance to see how we just click.”
[From People]
Lord, I sincerely hope they got more out of LeAnn than just those two sentences. No one should start out a People Mag puff-piece by screeching ?I?m not a homewrecker I?m not stealing anybody?s kids wawawawahhhh!!? Gurl, chill out.
Here?s yet another video of LeAnn & Eddie playing the Newlywed Game, this time for People. I think they may have ruined Salt N Pepa?s ?Push It? for me. And I always loved that song. Now whenever I hear it, I?ll think of Falcor. NOOOoo.
Last thing ? this might be the only thing more terrifying that LeAnn?s old Vines. BEWARE.

Star Magazine has an exclusive interview with LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian in this week?s print edition. I guess LeAnn and Eddie made the tabloid rounds this week, because Life & Style is also claiming an exclusive. Some of the quotes from the piece are just rehearsed talking points we?ve heard many times before (?we?re doing this because we wanted to work together again!?), but there?s some new stuff. And I should note that in the prelude to the interview, Star Mag claims that Eddie and LeAnn are ?still hounded by scandal, especially with Eddie?s jilted ex, Brandi Glanville, happy to needle them at every turn.? Meow! Some highlights:
LeAnn on why they?re doing the show: ?I think what people want to see is the way we interact with each other, and that?s the honesty of the show. There is nothing scripted. We want people to get a whole different side of us and to laugh.?
LeAnn on coping with scrutiny: ?We have gone through hell and back to be together and blend a family. We?ve gone to therapy to learn how to communicate better because we don?t want to screw with the kids. It has made us better and our marriage stronger.?
Eddie on their sex life: ?It?s very healthy.?
LeAnn on their sex life: ?We keep it interesting? I think it?s awesome. After this many years, I?m still enjoying it, so it?s very good.?
Whether she is open to adoption: ?I?m totally cool with adopting. I love kids, period. I have proven many times over to myself that I can love a child who?s not mine. It would be great to have a child I can myself and Eddie in, but there are a lot of children who need to be loved too, and we?ve talked about both.?
Eddie on adopting: ?I?m totally up for adopting.?
LeAnn on Eddie being at home while she tours & makes money: ?I never look at it as ?Oh I?m going out to support my family and I need to pay the bills.? We don?t worry about money, but we keep an eye on it, especially with my shoe buying!?
Eddie on being at home while she tours: ?Artists tour because that?s where they get revenue, and she really enjoys going out and performing.?
[From Star Magazine, print edition]
There?s so much delusion here. So many lies too. How many times is LeAnn going to lie about whether the VH1 reality show is scripted or not? How many times is she going to play fast and loose with just how ?honest? they are? As for their sex life? Eddie describes it in vague terms as ?healthy? (not ?good? or ?amazing?) and LeAnn? I always feel bad for LeAnn on the sexual front. I think the reason she stalked Eddie and basically forced his marriage to end was because Eddie was the first guy to ever bang her properly. She?s still riding that high. And it?s made her extra-crazy.

Real question: why does Mario Lopez like LeAnn Rimes so much? Lopez is one of LeAnn?s go-to interviewers consistently, and he always soft-balls questions to her (and Eddie). While I think Mario is a shady character, it doesn?t seem like LeAnn is the kind of celebrity he would need to suck up to, you know? Anyway, LeAnn and Eddie appeared on Extra yesterday and Extra has only released two interview clips thus far. The first clip is all about LeAnn and Eddie?s admission to Life & Style that they had told Eddie?s sons all about their affair.
LeAnn says:
?The kids actually came to us and asked, very nonchalantly over dinner, and Eddie was very honest with them in a way that you can be with a 7-year-old and 11-year-old. He?s always the first person to say how much he loves me, and they see that in our house, and they feel that, so I think it?s important not to lie to children. They understand way more?We both never want them to come back and say, ?You weren?t honest with us about this.? They?re very open with us, which us cool.?
Here?s what I don?t get: why is LeAnn doing the talking? This is something that should be between Eddie and BRANDI and they should decide together about what they say to Mason and Jake. And beyond that, no one should be talking about this stuff in public because OMG, SHUT UP. This is funny too: ?He?s always the first person to say how much he loves me, and they see that in our house?? Oh, honey. He won?t even answer the question in public.
Here?s the second clip ? Eddie and LeAnn are basically playing The Newlywed Game with Mario and his lady. Eddie gets a question wrong about LeAnn?s celebrity crush.
Oh, and LeAnn tweeted this in response to the Life & Style story:
.@Life_and_Style we said we spoke to them about the situation after they asked & spoke as honestly as we could given their ages #misleading

Amping up promotions for their VH1 series, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian stopped by the set of ?Extra? to chat with host Mario Lopez on Wednesday (July 23).
The married couple greeted the host with a big hug and smile as they prepared to chat about their reality series ?LeAnn and Eddie.?
Meanwhile, Rimes isn?t one to let the media get away with printing false information about her family and she fired back against a tweet from Life & Style earlier today.
When the publication shared, ?EXCLUSIVE: @leannrimes and #EddieCibrian reveal they DID tell his kids about their affair,? LeAnn quickly fired back, ?.@Life_and_Style we said we spoke to them about the situation after they asked & spoke as honestly as we could given their ages #misleading?

You will never believe what happened. LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian gave an interview to Life & Style about his kids and how they (LR & EC) told his kids about the affair that ended both LeAnn?s marriage and Eddie?s marriage. I know, shocking. So, it?s full circle at the moment. Eddie?s sons get to read about their parents endless shenanigans, then they get the information verified by LeAnn and Eddie, then the kids get to read about how they got the information verified in the press. The famewhore circle is complete.
LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian may have been famously married to other people when they fell in love and started a torrid affair in 2009, but in an exclusive interview with Life & Style, the couple reveals they have told Eddie?s children all about the affair.
?We?ve had discussions with them about the whole situation,? Eddie says in the new issue of Life & Style, on stands now, of their honesty with Mason, 11, and Jake, 7, about their infidelity. ?They understand more than you think they do,? LeAnn adds.
Being part of a blended family can be challenging, but LeAnn and Eddie found a way to make it work: therapy. Eddie tells the mag that when he and LeAnn first got together, they went to counseling ?to figure out how to put the kids first, to make sure they?re stable.? LeAnn?s sure it’s helped, and she?s a doting stepmom to his kids. ?We are always bettering ourselves,? she notes in the interview, ?and our marriage.?
[From Life & Style]
I?ll agree that kids understand more than their parents believe they understand. Kids know when mom & dad are fighting. They know when divorce is on the table. They know when mom or dad is fooling around too. But I just wish that both Brandi and Eddie would stop using those kids as publicity tools. I wish they would stop talking about them in the press, full-stop. This stuff is private. They shouldn?t splash this information around in the media.
Also, those kids are going to figure out (if they haven?t already) that their stepmom is crazy. Those poor boys.
