This Star Mag story was written before LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian?s VH1 reality show was confirmed. But the story is basically saying that the show is a go, and that ?actors? are going to play Brandi Glanville and Mason and Jake Cibrian. Which is interesting. In Deadline?s exclusive about the reality series, sources confirm that the show will be about how LeAnn & Eddie ?navigate their careers while also co-parenting Eddie?s two sons. It also promises for the duo to poke fun at what it?s like to be a high-profile couple with more than a little misinformation out there about them.? So will the show feature the real Mason and Jake or what?
LeAnn Rimes is looking to muscle in on archenemy Brandi Glanville?s territory, with a TV show of her own! A source reveals that LeAnn is keen on creating a scripted series based on her life with hubby Eddie Cibrian that would skewer Brandi. ?Actors would play LeAnn, Eddie, the kids and Brandi,? explains the insider, noting that LeAnn is in ?total meltdown? over the abysmal failure of her latest album, Spitfire, and blames Brandi entirely.
?LeAnn holds Brandi directly responsible for the album tanking because of all the bad publicity from their constant Twitter fights,? details the tipster. Brandi hasn?t minced words when it came to LeAnn?s album, sniping ?These are the worst songs I?ve ever heard? ? and it seems listeners agree: Spitfire sold a measly 10,798 copies in its first week.
But that?s not the only thorn in LeAnn?s side, admits the source: ?To make matters worse, Brandi is flying high ? her first book is a best-seller, and she?s already writing a second one!?

Sure. I believe all of this (except for actors playing LeAnn and Eddie because that would just be dumb). I think they?re really going to try to ?cast? an actress to play ?the horrible ex-wife who destroys the glorious Bonus Mother?s life by merely existing.? And it wouldn?t surprise me to learn that LeAnn blamed Brandi for the failure of Spitfire too. While I think Brandi played a small role in the failure of Spitfire (Brandi was giving interviews about it!), somebody needs to tell LeAnn that her publicity tour was just awful and no one really needed to hear ?her side? of things because we?ve already heard her side for years.
LeAnn and Eddie released a statement to Deadline too, saying: ?We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are or better yet who we?re really not. We?re thrilled to partner with VH1 and The Gurneys to put our spin on a project full of love, humor and music.? Love, humor and music? Crap. LeAnn is going to be yodeling the whole time, you know it. It?s going to like her dumb Vine videos stretched into 24 minutes of dumb programming. And LeAnn had to chime in again on Twitter too, writing: ?That’s a record! It was only 2 seconds before it got twisted LOL EXACTLY why we are doing the show. Good times to be had! Can’t wait!?

I haven?t written about LeAnn Rimes since July 17th!! What in the world? We should all be very, very suspicious when LeAnn goes incognito for a several weeks. It means something big is about to happen. And so it is today. LeAnn and Eddie were keeping it low-key because they were finalizing their reality show deal. Their reality has been rumored for a long time ? I?ve lost count of how many times I?ve written about it. LeAnn and Eddie were pitching a ?scripted reality show? concept to various channels, and it looks like they?ve found a home on VH1.
LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s new TV show has found a home. Vh1 is set to premiere LeAnn & Eddie (working title) in Fall 2013/Winter 2014 with six half-hour episodes.
“We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are or better yet who we’re really not,” the couple, serving as executive producers, said in a statement to Us Weekly. (Rimes, 30, and Cibrian, 40, married in 2011, two years after the couple met and fell in love while still married to other people.) “We’re thrilled to partner with Vh1 and The Gurneys [of Gurney Productions] to put our spin on a project full of love, humor and music.”
Tom Calderone, President of VhI, also said in a statement: “LeAnn and Eddie are both talented entertainers who have really captured the public’s imagination in the last couple of years, but there is so much more to them than what you read in the tabloids. This is going to be a really fun show in which we hope to reveal what their lives are really like – from the normalcy of their home life, to what drives them artistically, to the chaos of their celebrity life.”
Us Weekly exclusively revealed in April that Rimes and Cibrian were pitching a TV sitcom based on their lives. In May, the Spitfire singer told Us that they were “in talks” to develop their own sitcom. “We’ve been talking about a show. It’s not a reality show,” she said. “If anything, it would be based around our normal lives, but it would be scripted. We want to take our lives and laugh as much at ourselves as we think other people do.”
“It would be taking our regular life and elaborating on it to make it really over the top and funny,” Rimes further explained. “After all these years of having stuff thrown at us, it would be great to laugh at it all.”
Vh1 reports that the series will show the couple’s “normal modern family” life of balancing career and co-parenting Cibrian’s two sons with ex-wife Brandi Glanville.

LeAnn also tweeted, ?Thx for all the love about our new show. We are very excited to do something new and unique.? So ?new and unique? that it basically sounds like every other dumb reality show. I was looking through VH1?s roster and I realized that I haven?t watched any of their original programming in a really long time. I don?t watch Hollywood Exes, Lala?s Full Court Life, Love & Hip Hop or Couples Therapy. But it sounds like LeAnn and Eddie?s show will fit in perfectly there, right? I wonder which networks passed on the project?

Catching up with a gal pal, LeAnn Rimes had lunch at Sugarfish at The Commons at Calabasas on Tuesday (July 30).
The "Can't Fight the Moonlight" singer looked cute in a peach button-down shirt, denim cutoffs, and wedge heels as she headed inside.
Sharing her improving outlook on the day, the 30-year-old country crooner kept her Twitter followers fully informed.
Early this morning, she tweeted, "Why did I crawl back in bed & fall back asleep? Now I feel like I can't get out!!!," followed by "Well, I wasn't so lazy....I got up and already did my grocery shopping. Tuesday is looking up!" Finally, LeAnn wrote, "I am craving sushi like nobody's business!! Who knew this meat eatin' chick from the south could be so into raw fish. Lol." Judging by the photos, her afternoon got even better.

I didn?t even realize it (how is that?!), but LeAnn Rimes appeared on Monday?s episode of The Talk. I watch The Talk sometimes when I?m at the gym. I can?t say it?s a good show or even a so-bad-it?s-fun show. It?s just boring and monotonous and Julie Chen plucks my last nerve. So what a perfect show for LeAnn to appear on as she tries to half-heartedly promote Spitfire, which was absolutely a FLOP. First, LeAnn spoke to the ladies about the pregnancy rumors (spoiler: she?s not pregnant) and she also ?confirmed? the Radar story from two weekends ago about Brandi drunkenly causing a scene at Nobu:
Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes are not on the best of terms and the country singer confirmed the tension in their relationship on The Talk saying that their most recent encounter was ?awkward.? As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, LeAnn and her hubby Eddie Cibrian ran into his ex-wife and children at a tony Malibu restaurant Nobu and the confrontation was made for TV style drama.
After managing to avoid each other for most of the night, the new Mr. and Mrs. Cibrian stopped by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hill star?s table on their way out of the restaurant to apparently say goodbye to the kids, who had been criss-crossing from table to table during dinner.
But instead of pleasantries being exchanged, Eddie and LeAnn were ?confronted by Brandi who raised her voice and glass of wine at them,? one eyewitness told Radar.
?It was so obnoxious that other people at the restaurant turned their heads to see what all the commotion was about.?
LeAnn played a game called ?Rimes on the Record? with the ladies of The Talk where she addressed a series of reports and whether or not they were true or false.
As for the run-in with Brandi LeAnn was succinct.
?Awkward,? she said when asked about the incident. She confirmed our story, saying ?No wine was thrown. I?ll leave it at that.?
According to our eyewitness at the restaurant Brandi yelled at the couple as they left, saying: ?Is that a hi or a bye??
The Spitfire singer also address a slew of other reports on The Talk, saying that she is NOT pregnant, despite looking healthier and like she?s put on a few pounds.
?I am not pregnant. I?ve been pregnant in tabloids like five or six times now. I should have had several children. I eat a hamburger and then all of the sudden I?m pregnant!
Is she doing a reality show?
?We have been in talks about a show?a unique show, it wouldn?t be like a strict reality show with cameras following us around?people think they know all about our lives. We have been dabbling in that idea of something that would be unique.?

Does anyone else suspect LeAnn (or Team LeAnn people) of being the source for Radar?s reporting of the original incident at Nobu? As I said at the time, I have no doubt that Brandi said something rude or made a minor scene, I just question the whole idea that the whole restaurant was ZOMG scandalized by Brandi snarking on LeAnn. As for the continuing stories about LeAnn?s faux-reality show? I?m starting to wonder if she and Eddie have gotten any interest whatsoever from any cable channel. I?ll buy that LeAnn and Eddie have taken meetings and that they?re actively shilling this BS, but I don?t think anyone is interested.

This week?s edition of Star Magazine finally took note of LeAnn Rimes? noticeable (and much-praised) weight gain, and in the editor?s mind, there?s only one reason for LeAnn to have put on about 15 pounds: she?s ?finally pregnant?. The magazine also notes that LeAnn has ?gained so much weight and she doesn’t even care.” Unfortunately, LeAnn has a tabloid bat-phone and before any site gets a hold of the week?s tabloids, LeAnn is already denying, denying, denying. LeAnn got on Twitter (what else?) to deny the alleged pregnancy:
LeAnn Rimes won’t be singing any lullabies anytime soon! Eddie Cibrian’s 30-year-old wife took to Twitter on Wednesday, July 10, to shoot down reports that she’s pregnant.
“LMAO Star Magazine!” the singer tweeted of the tabloid’s latest claim. “I don’t know if you [doctor] the pics or pic the worst one you can find, but I’m far from pregnant . . . ”
In fact, although the once pin-thin Rimes has been showing off a healthier, curvier figure lately, she says she’s recently lost weight. She added in her tweet that she “just dropped a jean size.”
Rimes is already a stepmom to Mason, 10, and Jake, 6, her husband’s two sons with ex-wife Brandi Glanville. In May, the “Spitfire” singer told Us Weekly that she’s not in a rush to start a family of her own yet.
“We talk about having kids all the time and I would love to, but it’s gonna be a second,” she said. “I’m still young and fertile — it’s all good!”
“I was just with the kids for the last two days taking care of them on my own, and trust me . . . I have a newfound respect for working moms who do it all by themselves,” Rimes added about caring for the boys. “It was my birth control for a little bit — so overwhelming!”

She just dropped a jean size? Questionable, unless she was using the Kardashian Sizing System. That?s not a burn on LeAnn at all ? she looks so much better at her current weight. But it seems like she?s gaining weight, not losing it, you know?
Meanwhile, LeAnn?s guest appearance on Charlie Sheen?s Anger Management comes on tonight. LeAnn has been tweeting about it a lot (apparently, Charlie sent her a bottle of wine as a thank you) and she even managed to get a weak story about her sexy scenes into In Touch Weekly:
LeAnn Rimes’ guest role on Charlie Sheen?s show Anger Management is sure to make viewers tune in! In Touch has learned that LeAnn’s steamy scenes have her in lingerie, straddling the actor and include some major make-out sessions.
?She was making out with Charlie and straddling him in a car,? an on-set source explains to In Touch, on newsstands now. The insider dishes that the country singer was also in bed with Charlie for another scene.
And things must have gotten pretty awkward when husband Eddie Cibrian stopped by! A source tells In Touch that Eddie, 40, came by the set on July 2 and watched it all go down.
LeAnn, 30, filmed five scenes with Charlie, 47, and even had to wear lingerie for one! ?It was funny, and people thought she did a good job.?

Gross. The only thing grosser than the thought of LeAnn in lingerie, ?straddling? someone is the idea that Charlie Sheen is the one being straddled. Seriously, how much would you have to be paid to make out with Charlie Sheen? I would demand a lot of money. I wouldn?t make out with Charlie ? privately or on film ? without seven figures. But LeAnn just gives it away. And yeah, I bet Eddie was SUPER jelly. I bet he stopped into the set after he banged his latest mistress.

I was going to make a big deal about LeAnn Rimes spending the Independence Day holiday on Twitter, but really, what else is new? She almost always spends her holidays tweeting out ?happy Bonus Family? photos and trying to prove to everyone that her life is so amaze-balls. Which just goes to prove my golden rule: if someone is trying that hard to convince you of something, you know the opposite is true.
Really, though, I think that whenever LeAnn and Eddie have Mason and Jake for any given holiday, LeAnn just goes completely overboard with the ?celebrations? and she aims the photos at Brandi. Especially the photos of Mason and Jake, who LeAnn insists on photographing and posting the photos on Twitter. Apparently, LeAnn let Mason and Jake play on her tour bus (ha! She?s on tour for Spitfire, which flopped terribly), and one of them ?hide in the closet?. LeAnn actually tweeted a photo of the sad-looking kid hiding in the closet, trying to get away from LeAnn. LeAnn posted it with the message, ?Boys will be boys and hide in closets on the tour bus.? For God?s sake. Just leave them alone for two seconds.
I think my favorite photo is the ?Sparklers!? one just because it?s a really bad photo of LeAnn, and usually she makes an effort to only post flattering selfies. If you go to her Twitter, you can also see a bunch of creepy Vine videos of LeAnn and Eddie bowling in some kind of basement dungeon. Blah.

You’re not the only one that wants to stab LeAnn Rimes sometimes. In an interview at the Friend Movement’s Anti-Bullying Benefit Concert in LA on Monday, LeAnn Rimes recounted the time she was almost shanked by a jealous bully in elementary school.
“I used to perform around Dallas and Texas where I lived, a lot. My (school) principal would put something on the bulletin board if I was in the newspaper or something, and there was this clique of girls that did not like it. So, I had my locker egged, I had a girl bring a knife to school the last day of sixth grade and (she) tried to kill me!”
No further explanation was given for the knife incident so we’re not really sure if the girl literally went at her with a knife or if she just brought it to school and told her friends she was “about to cut a b*tch.” Neither did Rimes reveal who it was but it was probably someone named Erin Hernandez.

She?s always had a special interest in anti-bullying efforts, and LeAnn Rimes actually had a schoolmate try to harm her with a knife back in the day.
