Treating herself to a round of retail therapy, LeAnn Rimes did some shopping on Friday (May 30 in Los Angeles.
Brightly dressed in denim shorts and a magenta-and-white sleeveless shirt, the ?Right Kind of Wrong? songstress toted a bright blue bag from Kitson as she walked along.
In June, the 30-year-old will release her new album, Spitfire, which will feature several collaborations with some of the best musicians in the business.
Speaking recently about the project, LeAnn said "I hope I?m saying things that are hard for others to express. It certainly took me a lot of work to get to this point. And it?s still easier to sing these thoughts than it is to say them out loud. The intimacy in my music is just beginning.?

I know this isn?t the most popular opinion, but I think LeAnn has been looking really good (for her) lately. Yes, the bangs were a mistake (a terrible mistake), and yes, her style is still the worst, but she?s been putting on some much-needed weight and her body is back to looking healthy and athletic, as opposed to what it looked like a year and a half ago.
There were widespread reports ? some of which were fueled by stories Brandi Glanville told ? that Eddie Cibrian prefers his women bony and pin-thin, and many thought LeAnn was eager to force herself into that body type, lest his dong wander off to some very thin cocktail waitress, I suppose. But I?m glad that LeAnn has stopped doing that for whatever reason, and she just looks so much better overall these days. The Enquirer has an interesting story as to the reasons behind LeAnn?s latest transformation. Beware: this story includes a heave-worthy detail about Eddie and LeAnn making ?mad, passionate love?. Do not read this if you?ve just eaten!
LeAnn Rimes is sporting a fuller figure these days and insiders tell The Enquirer she?s packing on the extra pounds because she wants to get pregnant this year. Doctors told LeAnn that she and huby Eddie Cibrian were going to have a tough time with their baby-making plans if she didn?t start putting on some weight. So LeAnn?s been upping her food intake.
And the best part? Eddie LOVES her shapely new physique.
?For the last couple of years, LeAnn did everything she could to try and stay slim,? said a source. ?She believed Eddie loved stick-thin women like his ex-wife Brandi Glanville, so she wanted to be skinny too.?
But to LeAnn?s surprise ? and relief ? Eddie?s more attracted to her now than ever!
?LeAnn?s added about ten pounds since she went on her pre-pregnancy weight gain plan? and she says that since she gained a few curves, her man can?t keep his hands off her.?
LeAnn and Eddie enjoyed a romantic getaway to Puerto Rico the week of April 8, where they took a midnight dip in the ocean and strolled the moonlit beach in the rain. When they got back to their room, the source says ?they made mad, passionate love. LeAnn said it was one of the most romantic nights they?ve ever had together.?
Meanwhile, LeAnn and Eddie are said to be shopping around a scripted reality show, which could draw inspiration from the ongoing drama they have with Brandi.
?If LeAnn does get pregnant, they think it will be great for the show.?

Eddie loves her new body, eh? He loves that it feels like he?s with an entirely different woman. He likes to role-play that they?re having a wild, scandalous affair and they need to have a quickie before his wife comes home. He gets so involved that he says another woman?s name when he makes mad, passionate love to LeAnn. No, of course that never happens. I?m just a hater, a pessimist, a loon. Eddie loves his wife. He supports her no matter what. (Until he finds someone richer and less crazy, maybe.)

LeAnn Rimes has given an incredibly exhaustive interview to the Daily Mail, I guess to promote Spitfire, her album which may or may not already be a failure (we?ll see!). You can read the full Mail piece here ? trust me when I tell you that it is exhaustive. LeAnn talks about herself, how she feels and how she deals with every self-perpetuating controversy. You?ve heard most of it before, but I guess there are some new quotes in here too.
Her life with Eddie: ‘It’s definitely been a turbulent four years and to say I’ve been on several rollercoasters is an understatement.’
On Spitfire ? her first album of original material in five years: ?And I think the last four years of my life just came out through my music. I don’t think I expected the album to be this honest, but I found that the emotions just came pouring out of me. It was liberating and cathartic to write, but it wasn’t easy.’
On Dean Sheremet: Songs such as What Have I Done (whose lyrics include the line: ‘I broke the sweetest heart of the only man that’s ever loved me’) describe the regret at causing pain to a former love after falling for someone else. ‘And that was the first song I wrote a little over four years ago,’ LeAnn told MailOnline. ‘I actually wrote it about a friend, but it was almost foreseeing things that were going to happen, in a way. I was still with Dean at the time and he heard the song and knew it was about [Eddie and me] before I did. I said to him: “What are you talking about?”, but he was totally right.’
Writing about cheating: ‘Obviously, it was a very controversial topic to write about and as hard as it was for me to write the song, I think it painted a true picture of that situation. I wasn’t being hard on myself when I wrote it ? that line about feeling pathetic was just true ? but I wanted to describe a very stark moment in my life. You just feel in complete limbo and I felt guilty too; it wasn’t pretty at all. But I made my choices and I’m living with them. I know I’m not the first person to go through it and I won’t be the last.’
On Twitter: ‘I have considered staying off [social media],’ admits LeAnn, ‘but I’ve basically just learned to deal with the criticism. The people who do it hide behind a computer screen and don’t even show themselves and it’s interesting to have people judge you but have no idea about who you really are and what you’re all about. I did stop [tweeting] for a while but then I was like: “Screw this! I don’t want to stop communicating with my real fans”. The block button’s a great thing ? if you talk crap to me, I’ll just block you!’
She still says she wasn?t anorexic: ‘People said I was [anorexic], but I didn’t have a problem with eating as I ate a ton all the time ? I could eat my husband under the table! But I was going through a time when I just wasn’t sleeping ? my mind wouldn’t shut off and my heart was breaking. Now I’m secure about my body, although I’m like any other woman and have my moments of self doubt. But it’s nice to have a husband who tells you you’re beautiful all the time. I’ll say to him: “I’ve gained a few pounds” and he’ll say: “Good!”. It just gives you another level of confidence. But being in this business, I’ve noticed that image-wise it’s definitely worse for a woman.’
Being a child star: ‘I was always one of those old souls I guess and working and travelling from a young age made me develop way beyond my years in some respects. But in others, I was still a real child. I always had my parents or someone around me so I had a real attachment to people and I always had to have someone around. The stage was where I felt most confident, but in normal life, I felt really out of my element.’
Her 20s were hard: ?My twenties were hard,’ she admits. ‘They were very rewarding and challenging but I felt like there were two different “me”s out there. I had a lot of anxiety and depression ? not just in the last four years but as a part of the whole crazy business I was in and I didn’t want to go through my thirties not feeling like a whole human being.’
She?s not a rebel: ‘This wasn’t a rebellion. I obviously fell in love with Eddie, but it wasn’t done with abandonment at all and it was tough for everyone involved. But growing up the way I did, I don’t think I had the tools to handle it the way I should have done.’
She?s teaching her step-sons manners: ‘I grew up saying: “Yes ma’am” and “No sir”,’ she says of a childhood spent in Mississippi and Texas, ‘but when I say it out here in LA, people think I’m crazy! But it’s good to have manners and I like teaching that to my stepsons too.’

God, she?s so self-absorbed, but at this point her narcissism is just funny to me. I don?t know why anyone would ever expect her to learn any life-lesson other than ?LeAnn LeAnn LeANN is the most important person!!!? I think I have the same flip-flops as LeAnn Rimes. What does that mean?! I got mine at Old Navy and they?re not that comfortable. Hers might be different though. Anyway, these are photos of LeAnn, Eddie Cibrian and one of Eddie?s sons (Jake?) at a Little League baseball game (or whatever, I?m not an expert on children?s sports). Brandi Glanville was there too! This happens every so often, where Eddie, Brandi and LeAnn are all at the same event for one of Brandi and Eddie?s sons.
Jake?s birthday was? I think Saturday, maybe? Again, I?m not an expert but both Brandi and LeAnn were tweeting about it, so that?s how I know. Brandi just tweeted something about how Jake?s party was going to be the day after his actual birthday, but LeAnn tweeted this on Saturday: ?I think the best compliment of my career/life was having a 6 year old ask/demand for me to sing happy bday!? Yes, because everything is always about LEANN. Never forget!!
LeAnn and Eddie just got back (separately) from Puerto Rico where they had a little mini-break. Just LeAnn, Eddie, the beach and Twitter. LeAnn tweeted a bunch of photos ? you can see them here. There?s a funny one which I guess is supposed to be arty but it makes me think that LeAnn got paid to do a harem dance at a corporate event.
As for these photos? LeAnn?s bangs are really not working out. But I give her some credit for actually wearing somewhat appropriate clothes for a kid?s baseball game. This time. Because usually her fashion choices for kids? events are pretty questionable, like no bra, stilettos and pleather booty shorts. So props to her for wearing jeans and a t-shirt. This time.

Heading out to support her step-son, LeAnn Rimes took Jake to his baseball game with husband Eddie Cibrian on Saturday (April 13).
The "Can't Fight the Moonlight" singer looked cute in a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and flip-flops, as Jake's mother, Brandi Glanville, arrived separately.
Last Sunday, the happy family celebrated the baseball player's 6th birthday, with the 30-year-old singer/actress tweeting, "I think the best compliment of my career/life was having a 6-year-old ask/demand for me to sing happy bday!"
However, Brandi was also busy preparing for her little man's special day, tweeting, "Making up gift bags for the kids to take home later! Fun fun!?

Their life is stranger than fiction sometimes, and LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are looking to capitalize on the drama with a new television project.
According to an insider, the ?Can?t Fight the Moonlight? singer and her handsome hubby are in the process of pitching a sitcom, and they both want to star in it themselves.
The source explained, "They would play versions of themselves, kind of like on Curb Your Enthusiasm."
And of course, ?The show will have a crazy ex-wife,? referring to Eddie?s former spouse Brandi Glanville.
Additionally, "[Cibrian?s kids] Mason and Jake are not involved. If kids end up being on it, they would be played by actors -- not Eddie's children."
Another spy added, "They've met with a few networks. Nothing is finalized yet, but they're seeing where the show could go."

As I was glancing through these LeAnn Rimes-Brandi Glanville stories, I felt a momentary rush of joy that these two women exist. I know I should be above it (we all should be above it), but I enjoy this unending drama and all of the petty feuding. The LeAnn-Brandi stories have something for everyone: drama, lies, infidelity, bolt-ons, Botox, famewhoring, STDs, vadge rejuvs, bikinis, dimples, children, and barely any careers of note. This ongoing debacle is a self-sustaining ecosystem of gossip. I love it. I appreciate it. It makes my job easier.
Anyway, LeAnn gave an interview to ?Fabulous Magazine? and here are some excerpts. They are unfortunate, of course.
Did you make an effort to gain weight after people seemed so concerned in 2011?
I never tried to lose weight and I never tried to gain it. It depends on how stressed I am. I was eating a ton and couldn?t put on weight!
Were Eddie or your family ever concerned?
No. But being from the South, my mom and godmother are always happier when I have a little meat on my bones.
Are you happy with how you look?
I?m secure with my body. Trust me, there are moments when I?ve stood in the mirror and gone: ?Oh my God, I?m getting cellulite!? but then I stand in a different light and I?m like: ?Oh, it?s not so bad now.? I have my moments, like every woman.
You?ve recently become a stepmother to Jake, five, and Mason, nine. What?s that been like?
They have been very accepting. It?s taken a while to feel like it?s not just Eddie and the two boys and then me. But I do feel that?s happening, and the love that I have for them is tremendous.
What do they call you?
Lee. Sometimes they?ll blurt out: ?Mom!?, but I just go with whatever they call me. As long as it?s nice and respectful, I couldn?t care less.
Do you and Eddie want to have your own kids?
Absolutely. There?s still a lot of adjustments to make. It could be five months from now or in two years.
Eddie?s ex-wife, Brandi, has been pretty vocal about her feelings for you. What?s your relationship like now?
That?s where you write ?insert face reaction here?.
Eek? That doesn?t sound good.
It?s been really difficult. You have to stand up for yourself and be your own person, but at the same time you have to protect these children and their hearts. And that?s a very tough balance.
Do you have any regrets?
I don?t like that word. Do I wish I handled it differently? Absolutely. No one wants to hurt anyone or put themselves through hurt. I think the only other thing we could?ve done would have been to get out of our marriages before anything happened. It was tough, and it all happened very fast. I felt so ashamed and guilty.

I took out some of the stuff from the Radar article about how LeAnn was just begging to start another war with Brandi, because Brandi has already sort of responded and she didn?t sound too pissed. Brandi tweeted: ?I am not in a war with ANYONE (maybe the tax man). As I promised I refuse to engage. Peace Love and Happiness people.?
So, do you think LeAnn was making pointed comments about Mason and Jake calling her ?mom? accidentally? I?m sure LeAnn said that on purpose, to try to get under Brandi?s skin, but I also kind of think? yeah, it happens. I could see how those two boys would accidentally call LeAnn ?mom? and it?s no big deal. I?m sure LeAnn threw a parade about it, but I doubt it means much.

LeAnn Rimes showed up in Miami last week in this white bikini. She looks a lot better here whereas before she looked like she just got out of a concentration camp. Which isn’t a good thing. Just so we’re clear.

Let me tell you the funny thing about these LeAnn Rimes photos: they are everywhere!!!! Even though I don?t really work on Saturdays, I still check in and see what photos we?re getting, and within about a six-hour time frame, every single photo agency got photos of LeAnn in a bikini. She must have called up every paparazzo she knows. Hilariously, LeAnn was tweeting about being in South Beach and she was tweeting photos of herself, and then she tweeted: ?I guess I’ll go for an ocean dip at midnight cause there are at least 30 paparazzi and @kikicaldas has disowned me.? Oh, poor LeAnn! Trailed by paparazzi at every turn after she tweets her location and follows up with a photo call to each individual paparazzo!
These pics were taken in Miami, where LeAnn seems to be on vacation because of course. Didn?t her album JUST drop? Why isn?t she spending this entire month doing press and appearances in support of her album? Why did she release her album and promptly go on vacation? And is Eddie Cibrian even there? According to The Mail (which could be wrong), Eddie and the boys are not with LeAnn, and this is just a minibreak before she begins a tour schedule. Ha. We?ll see.
It?s actually been a while since we?ve had a good LeAnn-in-a-bikini photo-op. It?s been months, hasn?t it? I have to say? her body looks better these days. She?s put on some weight and her body is back to looking athletic rather than emaciated, and it?s a big improvement. While her bolt-ons still look wonky to me (they?re in her armpits!!!!), they also look better.
