These are some new photos of Keith Urban getting a star on the ?Music City Walk of Fame? in Nashville yesterday. His wife Nicole Kidman was in attendance, of course. And she was really animated too! She even forced his BotoxFace into a contortion of laughter and pride. That?s about it for the photos, I guess. I mean, that?s all of the ?news?. Although I would like to say a few things, of course.
First of all: has anyone else noticed Nicole?s latest style ?trend?? She?s been dressing very, very matronly lately, but it?s a unique kind of matronly. If you saw her clothes on a 60 year old, you would be like ?Yeah, that makes sense.? But on Nicole, it seems like her high-neck collars and fussy lace details and everything prim and proper? it all seems rather? I don?t know, like she?s trying to do the ?sexy librarian? thing. Only I?m pretty sure she?s not really trying to look like some fetish zed ?librarian? I think Nicole just thinks she looks awesome. The high-neck collar on her blouse is giving me some kind of 1980s flashback. That kind of blouse was the height of ladies? professional attire circa 1983.
What else did I want to talk about? I guess her BotoxFace, but I was so overcome by the collar I kind of forgot. My favorite photos are the ones where she?s giving that big black guy a ?WTF?? look (not really, but the angle suggests it), and the one where she?s laughing and it looks really, really painful. Oh, I love this one too:

Getting in some all-important quality time together, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were spotted at the Nashville Predators? hockey game last night (May 5).
The ?Moulin Rouge? actress and the ?I Wanna Kiss a Girl? crooner took to the Bridgestone Arena to cheer on the home team.
Unfortunately, Nicole and Keith?s fan support was not able to help the Predators, who lost to the Vancouver Canucks with a final score of 4-2.
Nicole had flown in from San Francisco where she?s been working on a new film as of late. They left daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret home with a nanny.

She?s always up to something, and yesterday (April 5) Nicole Kidman was busy on the set of her new film ?Hemingway and Gellhorn.?
The ?Moulin Rouge? mama joined costar Clive Owen to shoot some scenes for their HBO movie on location in San Francisco, California.
Over the weekend, Nicole joined her hunky country crooning hubby Keith Urban at the 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards.
Held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the ACM Awards included a plethora of great performances and famous faces.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were also at the Academy of Country Music Awards last night, although I don?t think Keith took anything home?? No, he didn?t. He was up for two awards but he didn?t win. Well, at least he and Nic had an excuse to be there. Nicole wore her biggest high heels (Manolo Blahnik) and this fascinating L?Wren Scott dress. I would have loved to have seen this on Taylor Swift? right? Swifty would have looked really cute in it! But on Nicole? I don?t know. The combination of the ?python? (I think that?s real python too) and fur detailing?it reads like ?dominatrix lite? to me.
I will say this, however: I prefer Nicole in this kind of gear than what she wore throughout the awards season, which amounted to a series of ill-fitting, too-frilly gowns. Remember that fug Christian Dior? Yeah. This is much better. But here?s a question: what?s going on with the fit of L?Wren dresses these days? Penelope Cruz?s L?Wren dress seemed to be oddly tailored too.
Oh, and people are still talking about Nicole?s frozen face. The Mail has an interesting piece (plus photos!) here. I don?t know about her Botox (well, I do), but her lips are seriously out of control. This is what I could find:

Gearing up for a fun-filled evening, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were seen making their big arrival at the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards tonight (April 3) in Las Vegas.
The Aussie country crooner and his lovely wife both dressed to impress as they hammed it up for the shutterbugs outside the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Looking ahead to the night?s festivities, performers like Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Brad Paisley are all scheduled to hit the stage.
Additionally, Reba McEntire will receive the Career Achievement Award, while Taylor Swift will be presented wtih the Jim Reeves International Award.

Enjoying some time on the West Coast, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were spotted out and about in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (March 20).
The happy couple looked a bit surprised to get caught in a heavy downpour, forcing Keith to pick up their daughter Sunday Rose and carry her back to their car.
Meanwhile, Nicole put her fabulous long legs to use and ran to open the car as everyone laughed at the predicament in which they found themselves.
The only member of the Kidman-Urban bunch missing was baby girl Faith Margaret, whom they welcomed via surrogate back in December.

She?s been hard at work on her new project ?Hemingway & Gellhorn,? and Nicole Kidman was spotted on the San Francisco set yesterday (March 15).
The ?Moulin Rouge? actress hit up the craft services table for some snacks during a break in filming, sporting a white coat, grey top, and khaki trousers.
Also on the set was Clive Owen who plays Ernest Hemingway in the HBO-produced movie, set to premiere in 2012.
According to press, ?Hemingway & Gellhorn recounts the tumultuous romance and subsequent marriage of literary master Ernest Hemingway and up-and-coming war correspondent Martha Gellhorn, following them through the Spanish Civil War and beyond. As she grew in reputation and stature, Gellhorn stood toe-to-toe with Hemingway, putting his famous bravado and iconic style to the test.?

Arduously plugging away on her new project, Nicole Kidman was back out on the set of ?Hemingway and Gellhorn? in San Francisco, CA on Wednesday (March 2).
The ?Australia? actress looked a bit put off by the rain, but eventually braved the damp west coast conditions thanks to her puffy North Face jacket.
Produced by James Gandolfini, ?Hemingway and Gellhorn? tells the story of the rocky romance between Ernest Hemingway (played by Clive Owen) and WWII correspondent Martha Gellhorn (Kidman).
With filming getting underway yesterday, the HBO made for TV movie is expected to be released later this year.

She was busy with the Governor?s Ball and Oscars over the weekend, but Nicole Kidman has since moved on to a brand new television project.
The ?Moulin Rouge? actress was spotted out in San Francisco earlier today (March 1) as she arrived for the first day of filming on "Hemingway and Gellhorn".
The Philip Kaufman directed work is described as "a drama centered on the romance between Ernest Hemingway and WWII correspondent Martha Gellhorn, Hemingway's inspiration for For Whom the Bell Tolls and the only woman who ever asked for a divorce from the writer."

Nicole Kidman in white Christian Dior. Ugh. This was one of my worst dressed picks! I think it?s mostly because I remember the era of red carpet fashion when Nicole Kidman could do no wrong, and the comparison between then and now is so stark. Maybe she just doesn?t care anymore? although I don?t think that?s the case. I think Nicole still cares about fashion. I think she cares very much of this Dior gown. I think Nicole feels this dress is beautiful and that she looks amazing in it. And that?s the problem with Nicole these days - she?s just lost it. ?It? being whatever she had that made her so watchable, in films and on red carpets. Oh, and note to Nicole: stop wearing white on red carpets. You are not virginal. You are not bridal. You are pale, and white makes you look like you?re glowing (not in a good way) and nearly translucent.
Anyway, this dress was so fug and unflattering that I wasn?t even paying attention to Nicole?s ugly hairstyle, or her fug shoe shoice, OR her giant diamond choker. I dislike all of it! Those little strands of hair in her face are tragic, while the vintage Fred Leighton choker is? okay. But not really with this fug dress, with this hair. And when did Nicole develop this epic shoe problem?!
Last thing, a note to Keith Urban: CHANGE YOUR HAIR. You do not need to flat-iron your junk every single day!!!
