She's always easy on the eyes and this afternoon (April 3) was no different, as Natalie Portman looked picture-perfect while arriving to her hotel in Paris.
Clad in a tan trench coat over a simple black dress and sheer black heels, the Oscar-winning actress strutted along the French capital city's sidewalks before hitting the entrance of the posh Plaza Athenee.
The City of Lights sighting comes shortly after Miss Portman joined fellow actress Susan Sarandon in penning notes (which ended up being posted on Facebook) to try and help end the bloodshed in Syria.
The goal of the celebrity intervention is that their spotlight grabbing ability will help pressure Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his Russian ally to change their current course of action.
Philippe Bolopion, UN director at Human Rights Watch in New York, explained, ?We hope they will help impress on the Syrian government and its few remaining supporters, including Russia, that the rest of the world will not turn a blind eye while mass atrocities are committed against the civilian population."
Bolopion added, "It was conceived as a show of solidarity to Syrian victims who must feel abandoned by the UN Security Council, whose hands have been tied by Russia and China.?

She's had people curious over her marital state these days, and Natalie Portman was spotted feeding the meter in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (February 29).
The Oscar-winning actress was looking chic, wearing a long trench coat with jeans and black heels as she toted papers in-hand while en route to a business meeting at Square One Dining.
Meanwhile, the major focal point was once again the jewelry adorning that all-important finger - as a rep for Jamie Wolf wedding rings confirmed having put together the marital bands for Portman and her babydaddy Benjamin Millepied.
?As with the engagement ring she designed for Natalie, Wolf created the eco-friendly rings with recycled platinum and conflict-free diamonds,? the rep told.

She got media outlets buzzing after sporting some shiny new bling at Sunday night's (February 26) Oscars show, and now reports are telling that Natalie Portman and fiance Benjamin Millipied secretly tied the knot!
Rumors began to swirl following the "Black Swan" actresses red carpet arrival, as she was snapped wearing an extra band alongside her sparkling engagement ring.

Adding to the wedding speculation was the silver band donned by Portman's beau - securely set on his left ring finger.
Telling Us Weekly that Natalie and Benjamin are, indeed, married, jeweler Jaime Wolf said, "I designed the rings worn by Benjamin Millepied and Natalie Portman. They were made with recycled platinum and conflict free diamonds."
With no further details available at the current time, the marriage news comes as Natalie and Benjamin are proud parents of an eight-moth-old son named Aleph.

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied were both spotted wearing what looked to be wedding rings at last Sunday’s Academy Awards which led many to believe they secretly married. Surprising news because celebrity weddings usually come with a 5 page spread in a weekly and million dollar interviews about what kind of dress they wore which no regular person could afford. I mean, what kind of celebrity are you, Natalie Portman? Kris Jenner is just sitting there shaking her head muttering, “Oh, this will not do.”
But it’s true. The news has been confirmed by Jamie Wolf, the jeweler who made the rings. “I designed the rings worn by Benjamin Millepied and Natalie Portman,” Wolf tells Us. “They were made with recycled platinum and conflict free diamonds.” What? Second hand precious metal and diamonds mined with no bloodshed? This is bullsh*t.
No details on when or where they married and their manager didn’t care to comment so it’s safe to assume either Natalie and Benjamin don’t want you know about their private life or they’re just playing hard to get. She’s such a tease.

Every outlet is now running stories about this, and I really don?t know why. There?s a rumor going around that Natalie Portman and her Ballet K-Fed, Benjamin Millepied, were wearing wedding bands two nights ago at the Oscars. Who here would be shocked and appalled that Natalie and Ben might have gotten married secretly? Seriously, who? Natalie keeps her private life locked down in large part, playing an enviably clever game of ?privacy? and private-life accessibility. It wouldn?t surprise me in the least if Natalie and Ben are married. It wouldn?t surprise me if Natalie and Ben got married before little Aleph was even born last year.
Did Natalie Portman slyly reveal big news before more than 1 billion TV viewers? On Sunday night’s 84th Academy Awards, the actress appeared to be wearing a wedding ring set as she clutched an envelope onstage.
And her French fianc, Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied, was photographed with a band on his wedding finger.
Was there a secret wedding? That remains a mystery for now, as the Oscar winner’s rep hasn’t commented.
Portman, 30, announced in December 2010 that she and Millepied were quietly engaged and that they were expecting a child. PEOPLE confirmed last June that they had welcomed a son, Aleph.

I?ve been looking through the Oscar photos, and it seems like Natalie was making a game of it with photographers, sometimes purposefully hiding her ring finger behind her back, sometimes gratuitously flashing her ring with a sly smile. So? yeah, I believe it. They?re married. Kudos to them for doing it quietly and keeping it so quiet for so long (I?m assuming it happened a while ago). But I still have my doubts as to whether this is the smartest match for Natalie in the long run. I still think Benjamin seems like a user and a starf–ker.

Bringing her stunning beauty to the red carpet, Natalie Portman turned up for the 84th Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (February 26).
Held at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center, the "Black Swan" beauty garnered plenty of attention as she charmed her way down the red carpet alongside fiance Benjamin Millepied.
During the course of the night, Natalie - who won Best Actress the previous year - is set to take the stage to hand out one of the coveted trophies while other presenters include Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz.
With "Hugo" leading the pack at 11 nominations while "The Artist" sits close behind at 10 chances for Oscar glory, the 2012 Academy Awards will be hosted by Billy Crystal and will broadcast live on ABC on Sunday, February 26th beginning at 7 ET.

Stepping out for an enchanted evening, Natalie Portman was spotted at the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards tonight (January 29).
The ?Garden State? starlet showed up in the press room inside the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles to pose for pictures before grabbing her seat to take in the SAG ceremony.
Natalie is one of the evening?s illustrious presenters, as are Octavia Spencer, Judy Greer, Regina King, Maya Rudolph, and Ed Helms.
Among the nominees for Outstanding Performance By a Cast in a Motion Picture are ?The Descendants,? ?Bridesmaids,? ?The Artist,? ?The Help,? and ?Midnight in Paris.?

Last night at the Golden Globes, Natalie Portman made her first red carpet appearance since giving birth to baby Aleph. Natalie had her boyfriend/lover/fianc/baby-daddy with her (I don?t know what to call him at this point), Benjamin Millepied. We haven?t seen or heard much about Benjamin in a while – I?ve read some stories about him giving up his New York ballet lifestyle to move to LA with Natalie and pursue a Hollywood career. Whatever is going on with him, his hair has improved a great deal since last year?s awards season, where he appeared to be wearing a series of pompadour wiglets. So? Benjamin looked nice.
As for Natalie, her dress is Lanvin. I know it?s syrupy and she could have easily looked like a walking bottle of Pepto-Bismal, but I kind of like the dress. The hot Pink with the red accent on the bust is interesting and flattering to Natalie?s coloring. She wanted to keep it about the dress too, wearing simple earrings, a bracelet and some rings, styled with great makeup and a simple hairstyle. My only problem is the weird one-sided hip-bustle. It was noticeable when Natalie presented Best Actor – it didn?t even look like part of the dress, really. It was like something weird got caught up in the dress, although I?m sure that was just the Lanvin design. It still would have been an interesting dress without the bustle, I?m just sayin?.

She?s been a dedicated mommy ever since giving birth to her son Aleph earlier this year, and now Natalie Portman is looking stretch her acting chops once again.
The ?Garden State? actress has reportedly signed on for a live reading of ?The Apartment,? a Billy Wilder film from 1960.
In addition to Portman, big names like J. K. Simmons, Ken Jeong, Jake Johnson, Nick Kroll, and Mindy Kaling are also on board for the gig.
Natalie and Co. will perform the piece at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Friday (November 18) at an event hosted by director Jason Reitman.
