Spending a day with her loved ones, Natalie Portman was spotted walking near her Los Angeles, CA home with her father Dr. Avner, boyfriend Benjamin Millepied and son Aleph.
The Oscar-winning actress looked lovely in a purple sundress and shades as she celebrated her 31st birthday with family and friends.
In other news, the birthday girl revealed how she slimmed down after giving birth to her adorable son and gives complete credit to her diet.
Miss Portman?s been a long-time vegetarian and said, ?"I was listening to my body to have eggs and dairy and that sort of stuff,? adding, ?I cook a lot, and I even do vegan baking.?

The Enquirer?s gossip guy, Mike Walker, always has stories about what celebrities are like when no one is there to document their behavior. No one except Mike Walker?s informal team of informers and snitches. Which is to say that I believe some of Walker?s stories, but most of time I think he?s just getting his stories from someone with an overactive imagination. This week, Walker claims that Natalie Portman was recently in an LA vegan caf with her son Aleph, and Aleph starting throwing a fit. Natalie was so embarrassed, she asked for her food to go and she did something nice on her way out??
Mummy hushes! Vegan Natalie Portman popped into LA deli Flore Vegan for lunch with 1-year-old son Aleph, who usually naps peacefully in his carrier while Mommu noshes – but this time the tyke started crying right after the waiter took the star?s order. Natalie tried calming her kiddie down, but nothing worked, so she asked the waiter to box her order to go, then immediately apologized to nearby diners – and quietly told the waiter to put the tabs for three tables on her bill!
Said my source: ?Her fellow diners were grateful, but protested – saying kids cry sometimes and Aleph wasn?t that bothersome. But Natalie, apologizing profusely, insisted on paying their tab of nearly $150, then left them to veg in peace.?

That was nice if she did pay for other diners? checks, and since the amount is so small (relatively speaking), I think this story could be true. Plus, babies do have their moments where they just cry and you can?t calm them down. I never really get mad at parents with crying babies? that is, unless the baby is really WAILING and it would be easy enough for a parent to just step outside of the restaurant/movie/whatever with the loud baby. Even then, I?m not really ?mad?. Just irritated. The worst – in my opinion – is when it?s an older kid throwing some kind of loud tantrum in a public place. If the child is old enough to be reasoned with, bribed or threatened, that child is too old to be WAILING in a public place. Of course, I was raised by parents who threatened to leave me at the supermarket whenever I cried, so maybe I’m not the best judge.
Here are some recent photos of Natalie and Aleph coming out of an LA synagogue. You can?t see the baby, of course. I just looked through all of our photos – we don?t have access to any of Aleph?s face. You can see one of the rare photos here. Aleph?s a cutie. But Natalie is pretty vigilant about not showing him off.

Natalie Portman looks like she bounced back pretty well after having that baby. Here she is with that creepy Benjamin Millepied at the 2012 New York City Ballet Spring Gala. One of theside effectsof carrying a parasitic entity in you for almost a year is the temporary increase in breast size. Which is fantastic news for me.

Taking in an evening of culture, Drew Barrymore and Natalie Portman were both spotted at the New York City Ballet?s Spring Gala last night (May 10).
Joined by her dancer beau Benjamin Millepied, the ?Black Swan? babe looked gorgeous as she posed for the paparazzi at the David H. Koch Theater in Lincoln Center.
Meanwhile, preggers Drew and her fiance Will Kopelman also looked to be having a marvelous time as they hit the red carpet.
Drew and Will are said to be getting hitched on June 2nd at Barrymore?s Montecito, California home. It will be her third and his first marriage.

The lovely Natalie Portman attended the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Audrey Hepburn Children?s House in Hackensack, New Jersey on Friday afternoon (May 4).
The ?Black Swan? actress looked stunning in a white, ruffled Giambattista Valli dress with a pair of simple, black Dior pumps while she posed with Miss Hepburn?s son, Sean Hepburn Ferrer.
In 2002, the AHCH opened its Northern Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center to serve children that are the victims of abuse and neglect and runs off of state funding and donations.
In personal news, the 30-year-old actress spent the past weekend in New York City with her son, Aleph and the two enjoyed pizza at Serafina.

Natalie Portman is in Paris, looking flawless. When I first saw these photos she looked a little Botoxy to me, but now that I see her up close it’s just that her skin is so smooth and pretty. She’s only 30 after all. Plus her makeup is perfection. Look at how well made up she is, this must have been professionally done.
In terms of Natalie’s fashion, I just love her coat! In these photos, she’s wearing the same kick ass tailored trench with three different outfits and two sets of amazing shoes, and she’s working the hell out of it. It’s like she stepped out of a magazine spread. I can’t believe I’m gushing over Natalie Portman. This woman has rubbed me the wrong way for years. (See conceiving the conception.) But she’s back, she’s got a baby she’s not pimping out, and in these photos she’s not even going to some fabulous fashion event – she’s dressed up like this to be a spokesperson for a charity. Portman is representing Free the Children, which supports education in over 45 countries. She’s also been the face of Dior Beauty, which has just announced that the proceeds from one of their lipsticks will go to Free The Children. Stepping out for some international fun, Natalie Portman was spotted leaving her hotel in Paris, France today (April 5).
The ?Garden State? starlet smiled as she made her way up the street, sporting a khaki trench coat with a black top, black trousers, and black heels.
Ms. Portman was recently named as an ambassador for the Free the Children organization, having worked with them in the past.
She told press, ?As a mother and the organization?s newest ambassador, I am grateful to Free the Children for giving me the opportunity to channel my passion and love of children into meaningful action that furthers the education and leadership of young women for years to come. I hope others join me in supporting this important cause.?

She's always easy on the eyes and this afternoon (April 3) was no different, as Natalie Portman looked picture-perfect while arriving to her hotel in Paris.
Clad in a tan trench coat over a simple black dress and sheer black heels, the Oscar-winning actress strutted along the French capital city's sidewalks before hitting the entrance of the posh Plaza Athenee.
The City of Lights sighting comes shortly after Miss Portman joined fellow actress Susan Sarandon in penning notes (which ended up being posted on Facebook) to try and help end the bloodshed in Syria.
The goal of the celebrity intervention is that their spotlight grabbing ability will help pressure Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his Russian ally to change their current course of action.
Philippe Bolopion, UN director at Human Rights Watch in New York, explained, ?We hope they will help impress on the Syrian government and its few remaining supporters, including Russia, that the rest of the world will not turn a blind eye while mass atrocities are committed against the civilian population."
Bolopion added, "It was conceived as a show of solidarity to Syrian victims who must feel abandoned by the UN Security Council, whose hands have been tied by Russia and China.?

The Oscar-winning actress was looking chic, wearing a long trench coat with jeans and black heels as she toted papers in-hand while en route to a business meeting at Square One Dining.
Meanwhile, the major focal point was once again the jewelry adorning that all-important finger - as a rep for Jamie Wolf wedding rings confirmed having put together the marital bands for Portman and her babydaddy Benjamin Millepied.
?As with the engagement ring she designed for Natalie, Wolf created the eco-friendly rings with recycled platinum and conflict-free diamonds,? the rep told.
