Opening up the annual cinema celebration, the cast of ?To Rome with Love" joined together for their movie's Los Angeles Film Festival premiere on Thursday night (June 14).
Held at Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14, director Woody Allen and wife Soon-Yi Previn were alongside the comedy caper's leading lady Penelope Cruz, as well as co-stars Alison Pill and Greta Gerwig.
As for the movie, ?To Rome with Love? is described as "a story about a number of people in Italy, some American, some Italian, some residents, some visitors, and the romances and adventures and predicaments they get into."
Also starring Jesse Eisenberg, Alec Baldwin, Carol Alt and Roberto Benigni, Woody's latest production is slated to see a limited release in the States beginning June 22nd.

Dressing down for their family flight, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem were spotted making their way through the Barajas airport with their son, Leo, in Madrid, Spain on Thursday (June 7).
In an all black ensemble, the "Puss and Boots" actress carried her little prince in front of her with the aid of a baby wrap while her 43-year-old actor husband tended to the luggage as he walked a few steps behind.
On the business front, Penelope is prepared to show off her vocal talents by releasing a duet with Migiel Bose - who's a Latin singer and actor.
The 38-year-old actress recorded the single Decirnos adios (To Say Goodbye) with Bose, which will appear on his upcoming album Papitwo.
Penelope's musician brother, Eduardo Cruz, is said to have composed the track.

After tending to a morning photo call earlier in the day, the cast of ?To Rome with Love" changed into fancier garb before stepping out for their film's world premiere in Rome, Italy on Friday (April 13).
Bringing her beauty to the Auditorium Parco Della Musica venue was Dolce & Gabbana clad leading lady Penelope Cruz, who was joined at the swanky screening by Director Woody Allen, as well as co-stars Jesse Eisenberg, Alec Baldwin, and Roberto Benigni.
?To Rome with Love? is described as "a story about a number of people in Italy, some American, some Italian, some residents, some visitors, and the romances and adventures and predicaments they get into."
With the motion picture first set to debut on April 20th in Italy, "To Rome with Love" will then see a limited release in the States on June 22, 2012.

Showing some love to Italian fans, the cast of ?To Rome with Love? was spotted at a photocall in Rome today (April 13).
Director Woody Allen was joined by Penelope Cruz, Jesse Eisenberg, Alec Baldwin, and Roberto Benigni at the Hotel Parco dei Principi for the promotional appearance.
?To Rome with Love? is described as "a story about a number of people in Italy, some American, some Italian, some residents, some visitors, and the romances and adventures and predicaments they get into."
With the motion picture first set to debut on April 20th in Italy, "To Rome with Love" will then see a limited release in the States on June 22, 2012.

Penelope Cruz was one of my favorite looks of the right. Penelope is always so interesting at the Oscars! I love her. My first thought when I saw her was ?Spanish Grace Kelly? – that was definitely her style inspiration, right? I feel like Grace Kelly would have worn this dress, or maybe Grace even DID wear a version of this dress at some point. Plus, the styling and the hairstyle really seemed so Grace Kelly-ish. The hair was my least favorite part though – in motion, her hair looked kind of stiff with bad highlights. But in photos, you can?t really tell. Oh – her long hair was tucked under – that?s why it looks so stiff.
Penelope?s dress is Armani Prive – she has a good relationship with Armani, and I?m guessing they made this especially for her – that?s what she told Tim Gunn anyway: ?This is Armani Prive. If you like the dress, it was them, I did nothing. They created this for me… I was blown away by it. It?s one of my favorite dresses that I ever wore.?
I didn?t see any photos of Javier Bardem, her husband. I guess he didn?t come to the Oscars. Too bad – I love when they do a rare event together.

Getting all gussied up for the big evening ahead, Penelope Cruz was spotted at the 84th Annual Academy Awards earlier tonight (February 26).
Clad in a sky blue Giorgio Armani frock, the ?Vanilla Sky? starlet looked radiant as she walked the red carpet outside the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.
And Penelope isn?t merely a spectator at tonight?s big event, she?ll be presenting one of the high-coveted Oscar award trophies to a lucky winner.
The 84th Academy Awards will be hosted by past favorite Billy Crystal and honor the best and brightest stars and films of the motion picture industry.

Let?s start this BAFTA fashion post with Penelope Cruz. I was going to start with Michelle Williams, but I fell asleep just looking at photos of her. So here?s Penelope in Armani Prive, in a brilliant, rich red. I love the color – I love the color ON HER. But this is the weirdest dress – I really like the dress from the front, and I loathe it from the side and from the back. From the back, this Armani flattens her ass, right? And from the side, you see how bizarre the cut is at the top. I like straight lines in dresses – I get so tired of sweetheart necklines, I can?t even begin to describe it. While I?m board for the straight, raised bust line, I could do without the mirror effect in the back. It just looks weird. Also: her hair? I?ve never liked her with those little bangs, and I don?t feel any different today.
Helena Bonham Carter in Giles Deacon. I was looking at the fabric close up, and it?s quite lovely. But the dress in total is bad, and it sucks on HBC. But mostly it?s just boring, right? I feel like she wears a version of this dress all the time.
Here?s Jessica Chastain in Oscar de la Renta. Beautiful dress – a dress that would have been AMAZING at the Oscars. For the BAFTAs? I feel like we?re watching her freeze to death. I?m not thinking about how great she looks, I?m just worried that she?s going to lose some toes.
Christina Ricci in Givenchy. Nice metallic, pretty dress, bad bangs and much, much too skinny. You can see her pointy hip bone through the dress.
Michelle Williams in zzzzzz?? what? She?s wearing H&M. I?ll be nice – I?m glad she didn?t wear a pastel. I?m glad her dress wasn?t all-white or all-cream. I?m glad she?s not telegraphing her second virginity through fashion. I?m glad the dress doesn?t look like something she stole from Matilda. But this is totally boring.

Enjoying her time across the pond, Penelope Cruz was spotted leaving her hotel in London, England on Tuesday (January 17).
The ?On Stranger Tides? beauty looked lovely in jeans, green turtleneck and Pink blazer as she exited the Berkeley hotel and hopped into an awaiting vehicle.
Over the weekend, Cruz and hunky hubby Javier Barden left their son Leo at home and enjoyed an evening out together when they went to dinner at Benihana.
On the career front, Penelope is gearing up for the release of two films ?Nero Fiddled?and ?Venuto al Mondo? in the fall.

I barely recognized Penelope Cruz in these photos. That?s a powerful haircut, correct? When the person?s face seems to completely change just be adding some layers and fluffing some junk up. I actually thought, at first glance, that this was one of those Megan Fox/Tamara Ecclestone hybrid women, because some of these brunettes are seriously starting to look alike.
Anyway, these are photos of Penelope (and Emile Hirsch) at the Turin Film Festival, where they premiered their new film, Venuto al Mondo. I actually like Penelope?s dress – it?s L?Wren Scott, and it?s got a nice balance of conservative and clingy/sexy. But what do you think of Penelope?s new hair? This isn?t her first bangs-look. She started doing itsy-bitsy bangs (trauma) earlier this year. It got really bad when she was promoting that last Pirates of Caribbean movie, but I still suspect those tiny bangs were some kind of clip-ons. And then Penelope did the longer bangsy-layers for a film, and now we?ve got this on our hands – a shorter haircut overall, with longer bangs.
Thoughts? My hair puffs up like this when it?s humid, so I?m not entirely convinced that this is the hairstyle Penelope intended to have. Overall, I think it ages her – she?s still a beautiful woman, but this feels like a ?I?m a mom now, I need something low-maintenance? rather than an actual trendy hairstyle. So? I kind of think it sucks.

Getting another cinema celebration underway, Penelope Cruz took center stage at Teatro Regio in Turin, Italy on Friday night (November 25).
The Spanish actress was joined by Emile Hirsch for the 29th Torino Film Festival Opening Ceremony.
Penelope and Emile co-star in a picture titled ?Venuto al Mondo,? which is a drama that centers around a single mother who takes her teenage son to Sarajevo, where his father died in the Bosnian conflict years ago.
The Sergio Castellitto directed work will be released in Italy on September 21, 2012 and after that, debut in Spain come November 9th.
