She’s always been a red carpet stunner, but Sandra Bullock says her obsession with chocolate may make things a bit difficult come Oscar night.
The “Miss Congeniality” actress recently confessed that she’s been consuming the sweet treat to the point she’s fearful about fitting into her dress for the Academy Awards in March.
Sandra explained, “The amount of chocolate I have eaten in the last two weeks is ridiculous. It’s kind of counterproductive to fitting into the tiny dress for the Oscars but I can’t help it.”
She continued, “It’s scary but sweet at the same time. I’m starting to realize no one is interested in who wins. They just want to see who crashes and burns. I’m starting to think that might be me!”

Just in time for Valentine’s day comes this disturbing and dumb story from Sandra Bullock on the lengths she went to for love. This story is in Contact Music and they don’t source the quotes, (they mention OK! UK but that’s for another quote), but supposedly Bullock said that she tried to shape her pubes into a little heart and then dye them pink. The ladyscaping wasn’t the problem, but she bleached and then dyed her (presumably dark) pubes, which caused burning pain in her nether regions. Who bleaches their pubes? That’s ridiculous. She says that she shaved it herself, so it doesn’t sound like she was subjected to this in the salon:
Sandra Bullock burned herself dying her pubic hair.
The actress - who is married to motorcycle enthusiast Jesse James - admits she was horrified when her special Valentine’s Day (14.02.10) grooming efforts went wrong.
She explained: “I decided for Valentine’s Day I would do a special hair thing. I wanted to try to create a Pink heart shape with my lower hair. It was painful.
“You had to bleach it first. There’s something about bleach that feels like acid. Then I had to shave it. I was in so much pain, but I kept going and put the Pink dye on and it went the wrong colour.”
The 45-year-old star also suffered another dyeing disaster when she went blonde recently for her role in ‘The Blind Side’ because Jesse hated it.
She admitted to Britain’s OK! magazine: “There is a very important person in my life who just didn’t want me being blonde - thank God. There was a big person who said, ‘I don’t like the blonde on you, take it off. You want him to say that.’ You want him to say that. You do.”
[From Contact Music]
How did she get the idea that she had to bleach her pubic hair? I’ve never heard of that! If you’re interested in dyeing your pubic hair, there’s a safe range of dyes called “Betty,” as in “Brown Betty,” “Blonde Betty,” etc., that are specifically designed for that purpose. Their website says that the products are all natural and contain no ammonia or parabens. I’m not sure how comfortable and effective Betty is, but it has to be better than getting burnt by chemicals. There’s even a Pink version. I prefer to get rid of the hair down there when possible and would never consider dyeing it, but to each their own. Poor Sandra. If this story is true I hope her mons is healed in time for Valentine’s day!

Out for a midday retail session, Sandra Bullock was spotted making her way around New York City on Tuesday afternoon (February 9).
Looking stylishly bundled up for the brisk weather, the “Blind Side” beauty shopped at FAO Schwarz and Henri Bendel before returning to her Manhattan hotel.
Meanwhile, Miss Bullock recently spoke with press about her Academy Awards wardrobe plans.
She jokes, “I’ll wear a gunny sack and belt it or a potato sack or trash bag. As long as you belt it, you’re fine.”
Adding about her fashion options, she says it’s “someone else’s job” to find the gowns and she’ll then “point and say I like that one” when choosing.
“Isn’t that funny that all they care about with the women is what dress they are wearing. I’m just glad I get to be a part of the [Academy Awards] company.” “The dress will find me. It always does.”

Always a favorite on the red carpet, Sandra Bullock has a few options for her choice of dress for the Oscars.
“I’ll wear a gunny sack and belt it or a potato sack or trash bag,” the Best Actress nominee told press, adding, “As long as you belt it, you’re fine.”
It’s been a big year for Bullock, as she has been nominated for Best Actress for her work in “The Blind Side.”
Adding about her fashion options, she says it’s “someone else’s job” to find the gowns and she’ll then “point and say I like that one” when choosing.

These are photos of Sandra Bullock at this year?s Santa Barbara Film Festival, where she picked up the American Riviera Award. First, I love Sandra?s dress. So, so pretty. It?s completely appropriate for the occasion, appropriate for her age and her aiming-for-classy style. The fit is amazing, and Sandra looks great. I hope that whatever stylist put her in this dress also dresses Sandra for the Oscars, because sometimes, Sandra can be a hot mess on the red carpet. Speaking of Sandra?s style, a website that tracks star fashions points to Bullock as the most-watched and copied woman for this year?s awards season. StyleSpot.com calls Bullock ?the Oscars’ Actress Most Likely to Sell Fashion.?
While accepting her award at the festival, Bullock told the audience that she?s very good at predicting the Oscar winners, and she predicts that she will not go home with a little gold man. She claims she ?already knows who?s going to win? but she won?t say. She probably thinks Meryl Streep will win, that?s my guess:
Sandra Bullock has news for anyone waiting to see her give an acceptance speech at the Academy Awards ? don’t hold your breath!
“I’m so not winning an Oscar,” Bullock, who received her first-ever nomination, as best actress for The Blind Side, told reporters at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival Friday, where she received the American Riviera Award for her influence on film.
Bullock considers herself an expert oddsmaker for the annual awards show, so she has strong feelings about her own chance for victory. “Nine times out of ten I always pick who’s going to win,” the actress, 45, said. “And I already know who’s going to win. I’m not going to say, but nine times out of ten, I’m right.”
Bullock isn’t practicing false humility. After all, she?s already won a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award this year. She?s just not overanxious to snag the trophy. “I have to say, all the ladies in our category, we don’t care who wins,” she said. “Someone’s going to win and the rest of us will be really happy for whoever won. We’re just happy to be here. And we like the company we’re in.”
Bullock admitted she has to push herself into enjoying the build-up to the Academy Awards. “It’s amazing how you are asked to hit the ground running the minute you hear the news,” she said. “It’s not like you can sit back and have bonbons and champagne.”
“I thought that’s what it was about,” she said. “I had it already. I said, ‘OK, where are the bonbons and champagne?’ No one brought me any. They just told me I had to work. So I’m like, ‘OK.’ ”
Everyday Tasks
“I’m so bad at taking in compliments or flattery,” she said. “I’m better taking in the bad than I am the good. So I’m trying very hard just to be present and enjoy the moments.”
She’s also embracing the everyday tasks at home which keep her grounded. “You go home and you have to pick up dog poop ? and we have a two-legged dog,” she says. “To me, that’s not mundane, though. Life is tricky enough that I actually love and embrace the normal day-to-day rituals. You get up, you make your coffee, read your paper, you do the school run, you go do your things. I’m just lucky that I get to do them.”

I like Sandra a lot, but I do think this is part of her Oscar campaign. There?s nothing wrong with that - humility works well when you?re campaigning-while-pretending-not-to-campaign. I think Sandra would love to win an Oscar, but that being said, I don?t think she would be completely devastated if she didn?t. Especially if she lost to Meryl Streep. How can you be upset if you lose an award to Meryl? Aren?t you just like ?Oh, of course. She?s an acting goddess, of course she won.?

Stepping out for night two of the International Film Festival, Sandra Bullock attended the annual fest on Friday night (February 5).
The “Blind Side” actress cooly walked the red carpet at the Arlington Theatre and later picked up the festival’s first big award of its 25th year, the American Riviera Award.
The award was established to recognize an actor who has had a strong influence on American cinema.
Following Sandra’s incredible award show winning-streak, she is unfortunately nominated for a not-so-hot award which is the Razzie for worst actress in her performance in “All About Steve.”

Predictably, the Oscar race for Best Actress is likely going to come down to Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock. They are the two women who have picked up all of the awards thus far - even tying at the Critics Choice Awards, where they first had a big public play-fight, then kissed and made up on the stage. I?ll admit that I don?t know the true feelings Sandra and Meryl have for or about each other, but I?ll admit that their play-fighting is cracking me up. I get the impression that they really do like each other, and neither would be hurt, offended or angry if the other won the Oscar. Thankfully, Sandra has a big mouth, and she told Us Weekly about the war of attrition she and Meryl are waging:
Expect the playful competition between Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep to heat up now that the two both nabbed Best Actress Oscar nods.
They’ve been facing off at nearly every awards show and even smooched when they tied for best actress at the Critics’ Choice Awards last month.
“With Meryl, when this whole thing started, I left her a voice mail going, ‘You’ve got to watch your back. I’m gonna cut you. I’m gonna take you down,’” Bullock tells the Associated Press. “And then she sent me dead orchids and told me to die, so I sent her a case of liquor and told her to toast to white trash.”
Kidding aside, Bullock, 45, said she has no ill will against the other nominees. (She is up against Julie & Julia’s Streep; An Education’s Carey Mulligan; The Last Station’s Helen Mirren and Precious’ Gabourey Sidibe.)
“You have to enjoy being with these women that you admire or love or like or have had friendships with or are just getting to know because you’ve got to take care of each other,” Bullock told the AP.
“No one, at least the people that I’ve met, no one cares about the end result or the statue,” she added. “It’s being able to sit in close proximity with these ladies … and we have to go through this whole rigamarole and we just all look at each other and we get to know each other and you laugh at the absurdity of it all and how they pit women up against each other.”
How did she feel about also being nominated as worst actress of the year for All About Steve from the Golden Raspberry Foundation, host of the annual Razzies. She is honored.
“If I win, I am so showing up,” she told USA Today. “I have to enjoy that as much as getting an Oscar nomination. It is the great balance in our business.”
[From Us Weekly]
Okay, the part about ?I sent her a case of liquor and told her to toast to white trash? is hilarious. I?ve never heard that before, and I?m totally going to steal it. I love, love, love that Meryl and Sandra are having fun with their ?war? and I also love that Sandra doesn?t take herself so seriously that she?s offended by the Razzie nomination. To be fair to Sandra, I don?t think it?s her year at the Razzies. That bitch belongs to Megan Fox.

| Jesse James' porn star ex denied visitation rights with daughter | Added 14 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

As Sandra Bullock makes the awards show rounds there’s still some minor drama brewing for her at home. There’s a custody battle going on between Sandra’s husband, Jesse James, and his porn star ex, Janine Lindemulder, who served six months for tax evasion last year. Lindemulder and James have a five year old daughter, Sunny, who has been staying with Bullock and James since her mother served time starting in January. We’ve heard from Lindemulder at least twice, on Good Morning America and in Life & Style, in public bids to earn more custody time with her daughter. In response, James’ lawyer issued a terse statement telling Lindemulder not to drag Sandra Bullock into the custody battle with his client. Meanwhile Lindemulder is back to “acting” in adult films and is now married to an ex con with a long rap sheet including federal drug convictions.
Anyway Lindemulder has had all visitation rights with Sunny revoked following a hearing in which her parenting was characterized as erratic. She’s missed scheduled visitation time and scheduled calls with Sunny according to what James told the court:
At a hearing today in the contentious custody battle between Sandra Bullock’s current hubby and his former missus, a judge ordered that Lindemulder be allowed to make daily phone calls to her 6-year-old daughter, Sunny, who currently resides full-time with the famous couple.
“No visitation rights were granted at this point,” Orange County Superior Court spokeswoman Carol Levitzky told E! News. James and Lindemulder, currently serving a four-month stint in a halfway house for violating her parole in a tax-evasion case, were both present for the proceedings; Bullock was not.
However, the phone time ruling didn’t come without resistance from James.
“She texts at least twice and up to 20 times a day, demanding to talk to Sunny,” he said of his ex. “But sometimes she’ll go a week at a time where she doesn’t make a call.
“[Lindemulder] has no filter on what she tells [Sunny] about prison. There’s a lot of conversation about prison or jail and things that I don’t think a 6-year-old can comprehend or process.”
James also noted in court that while Lindemulder had fought for (and won) Christmas custody of the girl, she never materialized on the holiday, and in fact had missed four of her past five scheduled visits.
The hearing was continued to June 14, and while the judge praised James and Lindemulder for being able to make positive progress despite the media attention, both were ordered to undergo joint counseling once a month.
[From E! Online]
It’s probably in Sunny’s best interests that she have limited contact with her mom if all of this is true. It’s still so sad to hear about someone losing visitation with their child. As a mother, you feel for other moms who can’t see their children. There are plenty of people in this world who aren’t fit parents though, and it sounds like Sunny has a loving and supportive home with Bullock and James.

When Madonna kissed Britney Spears or Adam Lambert did the same to one of his male backup dancers, I knew that these were two Hollywood celebs trying to create a controversy. They are both known to make a living out of being the focus of attention by doing things that Bible-hugging people do not like. Not that I think there is anything wrong with two girls kissing but the last two ladies on the earth that I expected to kiss in public were Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep. They are fine actresses and do not need this sort of controversy. Having said that it is nice to see that women of all ages can now give each other a smooch on the lips or even lock their lips in a long, wet French kiss.

Sandra Bullock has donated $1 million to relief for victims of last Tuesday's earthquake in Haiti, according to Variety.com. The Golden Globe winner's donation matches the contributions of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the site reported, as well as George Clooney, who will host MTV's "Hope for Haiti"
telethon, which airs Friday at 8 p.m. ET/ PT on MTV and other networks.
Variety also reported that supermodel Gisele Bundchen has donated $1.5 million to Haitian earthquake relief, and that Madonna has said she's donated $250,000.
"I would say, 'Get involved, whatever you do,' " Clooney told MTV News
at the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday. "This is about compassion. There are times in our lives when people are really without help and in real danger, and this is one of those times. So whatever they can do — give money to one of the organizations that they like the best."
Clooney, Wyclef Jean and CNN's Anderson Cooper have joined as hosts for Friday's event that will broadcast from New York and Haiti, respectively, while Clooney will be in Los Angeles. The show will air commercial-free across ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, BET, the CW, HBO, MTV, VH1 and CMT on Friday, January 22, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
A number of musicians are set to perform on the show and Clooney hopes to make the tracks available the day after the telethon to ensure that more money is being made to help aid survivors of the earthquake. "We're going to have a lot of great musicians — we're putting them together as we speak," he explained. "And then we'll be able to release the songs on iTunes the next day, so that they'll be a continuing ability to make money for several of the charities." More details on performers and participants are expected to be announced shortly.
All donations will directly benefit Oxfam America, Partners in Health, Red Cross, UNICEF and Wyclef's Yele Haiti Foundation. Facebook and MySpace have signed on as official social-media partners to help steer viewers to the telethon and drive donations.
