As she makes her way through the one-year anniversary of two life-changing events, Sandra Bullock is back on track and better than ever.
Focusing her energy into positive outlets, the 47-year-old has spent her last 12 months rejoicing the adoption of her 19-month-old son Louis, as well moving forward from her divorce from Jesse James the best way she knows how - in front of the camera.
While discussing Sandra's undeniable ambition, her "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" director Stephen Daldry told press, "She was very keen to get back to work."
Continuing to praise Miss Bullokc, who can also be seen in the 2012 thriller "Gravity" alongside George Clooney, Daldry added, "She threw herself in with her usual enthusiasm and energy, and she was very relaxed," he explained "She had little Louis with her, and it was a very familial environment on-set."

Gearing up to head out of town, Sandra Bullock was spotted outside of her home in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday (August 3).
The ?Proposal? star looked cute and casual in black pants, a white tank and fedora hat as she readied herself and son, Louis, for their impending road trip.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Bullock recently surprised good friend Ryan Reynolds at his red carpet premiere of ?The Change-Up.?
Upon Sandra?s unexpected arrival, Reynolds quickly excused himself from the interview he was doing with co-star Jason Bateman, ran over to her, hugged and kissed her and rejoined Jason to finish the interview.

They're living proof that men and women can be just friends, and Sandra Bullock surprised her pal Ryan Reynolds at last night?s premiere of ?The Change-Up.?
The ?Blind Side? babe showed up to support her "The Proposal" co-star, as the pair shared a friendly hug and kiss on the cheek on the red carpet upon the Oscar-winning actress' arrival.
After saying hello to Reynolds, Bullock skipped the rest of the press area and headed inside the theater.
The duo, who co-starred in the hilarious romantic comedy ?The Proposal? back in 2009, have kept up a dear friendship and have attended events together in the past.

Hard at work on her new project, Sandra Bullock was spotted on the set of ?Gravity? in London, England on Wednesday (June 8).
The ?While You Were Sleeping? actress looked a bit different than usual, sporting a short brown wig and a fake cut and bruise on her face.
?Gravity? is about the lone survivor of a space mission to repair the Hubble telescope as she desperately tries to return to Earth and reunite with her daughter.
Also starring ?Ocean?s Eleven? stud George Clooney, ?Gravity? is set to hit theaters sometime in 2012.

Her private life went quite public after his infidelity made headlines, and now Sandra Bullock is said to be furious over ex Jesse James' upcoming tell-all book "American Outlaw."
The 46-year-old is reportedly deeply concerned over the contents of the memoir and what it might reveal about their marriage and Jesse's extra-marital affairs.
A source close to the situation told press, ?He didn?t warn her about the book at all ? she had no idea he was even considering it until after he?d signed the contract."
The insider added, ?She?s devastated. Sandra?s told Jesse they can no longer be friends ? even for the kids? sake. She decided she has to herself first. She couldn?t deal with him anymore.?

Here are some new photos of Sandra Bullock outside her NY apartment, where she’s filming Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. At first I thought that Sandra was staging some photo ops to help counteract all the dumb sh*t her ex husband continues to do publicly, particularly put out a memoir. (I hope she had a strict nondisclosure agree in her divorce decree, although she probably continued to trust him and is getting burned yet again by his selfish behavior.) Now it seems clear to me that the paparazzi lay in wait for her and will hound her no matter what she does, so she may as well take advantage of it. She’s not freaking out or scowling and they’re probably shouting at her infant son, so that takes some admirable self control.
Sandra was seen heading out with Louis, going to the gym and then going out with her sister, baker Gesine Bullock-Prado. Sandra even held her sister’s book, Sugar Baby, probably as a kind of favor to help promote it. We’ve had a few paparazzi photos of celebrities with books lately and it seems like a recent trend. It’s almost quaint now that so many people are reading books on Kindles and iPads.
Sandra’s sister Gesine made an appearance on the Today Show today, Wednesday, to promote the new cookbook. (At least she announced she would on Facebook. I haven’t been able to find the video of her segment yet.) The last I heard of her she was running a bakery in Vermont. She also might help run a couple of restaurants that Sandra owns in Austin, Texas, Bess Bistro and Walton’s Fancy and Staple. (She has a bunch of dessert recipes on her website, Confessions of a Master Baker, that made me very hungry.) So I’ll give Sandra props for helping her sister get the word out about her book. By just carrying it to the car she may have earned her more publicity than the Today Show could.

She was one of the first to help out, and now other celebrities are following in the footsteps of Sandra Bullock and doing anything they can to help Japan?s relief efforts.
The ?Blind Side? actress donated $1 million to the American Red Cross shortly after the earthquake/tsunami hit.
Aside from Bullock?s donation, Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas dedicated their new music video ?Just Can?t Get Enough? to the people affected by the disaster.
On Friday, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and more than thirty stars joined together to release ?Songs for Japan? on iTunes for $9.99 with all proceeds going to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
Gwen Stefani also donated $1 million to Save the Children. Telling Fox News she said, "I've been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture.?

Getting in some all-important mother-son bonding, Sandra Bullock was spotted out with her son Louis in New York City yesterday afternoon (March 20).
The ?While You Were Sleeping? actress and her adorable little guy hit up a local playground for some active quality time while shutterbugs looked on from afar.
Ms. Bullock is in the Big Apple to work on her brand spanking new movie ?Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.?
Meanwhile, Sandra showed her love for humanitarian causes by donating a cool $1 million to tsunami relief in Japan.

Sandra Bullock rarely goes out with her cute son, Louis, without covering his face. We’ve seen some photos of him in transit but nothing as clear and well documented as these pictures of Sandra and Louis at the park on Sunday.
Sandy is in New York filming Incredibly Loud and Uncomfortably Close, and we just saw photos of her wearing a wig on set. She was looking a little pinched and/or freshened-up, but it wasn’t extreme and will probably settle nicely and look subtle like her previous injections. (Unlike Kaiser, I’m not decided on the issue of future plastic surgery and/or injectables and think that you can get some minor work done and still look normal. That’s just the work you don’t notice.)
Now that there are rumors that Sandra may have been involved in Bradley Cooper and Renee Zellweger’s split, we just happen to see her at the park with her son. Maybe she wanted to go out and is hounded by photographers no matter what she does, or maybe she decided that she would get some more positive PR to counteract the bad. I can’t blame her for it, and it’s not like she pulls this constantly. Plenty of other celebrities do it, and it does help remind us that they have adorable kids.
Louis is so over it, though, he’s got that grumpy kid look like “when is naptime already?” I always think that I’m done having kids now that I’m on the other side of 35, but then I see photos like this.

These are newish photos of Sandra Bullock on the NYC set of Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, which she is filming with Tom Hanks. This film should heal America, right? Sandra plus Tom Hanks = Americana porn. Or maybe not - because Sandra?s funky wig is not doing anything for me. Actually, people don?t even know if this is really a wig or if the hair stylist is making Sandra?s real hair look this bad.
Meanwhile, I?m still wondering if Sandra had anything to do with Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper?s split. So far, the official word from both Us Weekly and People Magazine has the split happening sometime around the Oscars in late February, and with Bradley seeming to do the dumping. Also - I?ve gotten the chance to read Star Magazine?s full cover story this week, and while I don?t buy Star?s story that Sandra and Bradley hooked up at a NYC hotel in early March, I don?t dismiss out of hand that there could be something between the two.
