Bundling up and ready for an exercise session, Sandra Bullock was spotted leaving her hotel in New York City earlier today (December 14).
The ?Blind Side? babe looked cute in workout shoes, spandex pants, a puffy coat and winter hat as she made her way past the always-present photogs.
After taking quite the long break from her career to deal with her divorce from Jesse James and the adoption of her son Louis, Sandra is back in action on the silver screen.
We will see her next in a 9/11 based film called ?Extremely Loud and Incredible Close? directed by Stephen Daldry.
Of what compelled Bullock to take on this role, she recently told press, "Whatever next opportunity that I was given had to be an amazing opportunity for myself and for my son. So we had a great time. It was no longer being a selfish actress having a moment. I wanted to have an amazing time with [Louis] and myself, and fortunately, Mr. Daldry presented that. In every possible way, it was the best!"

I don’t want to give the wrong impression of what Sandra Bullock said, but I can’t fit the full quote in the title of the story. She said that “You feel like you were dead compared to the way you were emotionally before” after you become a mother, and added “at least I did.” It makes sense in context and didn’t reach Gisele Bundchen levels of righteousness by any means.
Bullock is doing the press circuit for Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, which co-stars Tom Hanks and is out in the US in limited release this Christmas. The movie is based on the book of the same name by Jonathan Safran Foer about a young boy who loses his father in the September 11 terrorist attacks. (The trailer is here and be forewarned that it made me cry.)
Bullock plays the mother to the boy who stars in the film, Thomas Horn. In a new interview with E!, (you can watch it here) Bullock is asked how being a mother has informed her acting. She said that it’s made her more vulnerable, essentially, and that she feels things more deeply now. You could tell that she didn’t mean to be sanctimonious and was just trying to explain her experience with it.
On how being a mom informs her performances now.
I’ve played moms before, I’ve always been very maternal, I’ve always loved being around kids.
I’m sure Louis informs me in ways I don’t even know how. Everything becomes richer or more important or more frightening or more challenging.
Everything becomes far more emotional, which I’m grateful for. You feel like you were dead compared to the way you were emotionally before. At least I did. I don’t know how, but I know it did profoundly affect me in the way I

Still searching for the perfect place for her growing boy to begin his educational quest, Sandra Bullock was busy checking out schools for her son in Studio City, CA on Friday afternoon (November 18).
The Oscar-winning actress was accompanied by a male companion as the pair toured the grounds of Sunnyside pre-school as a possible landing spot for little Louis.
The outing comes as Miss Bullock is nearing the release of "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" - which happens to be her first movie since adopting Louis and dealing with her highly-publicized split from Jesse James after his serial cheating was revealed.
Set to hit theaters on January 20th, the Stephen Daldry directed drama is about "a nine-year-old amateur inventor, jewelry designer, astrophysicist, tambourine player, and pacifist searching New York for the lock that matches a mysterious key left by his father when he was killed in the September 11 attacks."

Helping out the local economy, Sandra Bullock was spotted doing some shopping in New York City on Monday (November 7).
Looking cute and casual, the ?Proposal? actress hit up the upscale women?s specialty store, Henri Bendel, and left with several bags, perhaps in preparation of the holiday season.
The outing comes as Sandra?s friends are allegedly urging the star to spark up a romance with long-time pal Keanu Reeves.
Bullock and Reeves recently enjoyed a low-key meal at Craig?s restaurant in West Hollywood with their mutual publicist and, according to an insider, ?there was a spark between them like never before.?

After a lavish night out at the Chateau Marmont, Sandra Bullock was spotted catching a departing flight out at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday (October 28).
The ?Blind Side? babe looked a tad exhausted as she readied to head inside the busy terminal, with the help of a bodyguard.
Last night, Ms Bullock presented a tribute to the late Elizabeth Taylor at the annual amfAR Inspiration Gala.
And during the ritzy soiree, Bullock?s agents? were awarded a piece of art called ?Peaches? created by the infamous Andy Warhol when they bid on it for $14,000.
After being deemed the winners, Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd announced that it would be gifted on to Sandra?s adopted son, Louis.

1-year-old Louis Bardo continues to enjoy his ridiculously good fortune of being Sandra Bullock’s adopted son as he was gifted with a painting by famous American artist Andy Warhol. Digital Spy reports,
Sandra Bullock’s 1-year-old son Louis Bardo has received an Andy Warhol ‘Peaches’ painting as a gift.
The famous Warhol painting was given by the actress’s agent, who won the artwork at an auction, reports US Weekly.
The auction was held at the amFAR Inspiration Gala in Los Angeles on Thursday, and Bullock’s agent topped the bidding with $14,000 (9,900). Proceeds from the auction will be donated to amFAR’s AIDS research.
Bullock, who adopted her son in January 2010, also was a guest at the gala to honor the creator of amfAR, the late Elizabeth Taylor.
“I want to thank Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd for not being cheap f**ks and gifting my son with his first Warhol,” the Blind Side actress quipped.
It makes you think, doesn’t it? If little Louis had been left in his native New Orleans, he could’ve ended up stealing valuable artwork instead of being gifted it. Fate has quite a sense of humor.

I feel like designers these days take the easy way out by making too many dresses that are either sleeveless or strapless. Whatever happened to the elegant sleeved gown or cocktail dress? Whatever happened to making weather-appropriate dresses for ladies, so they don?t have to add layers to something cute, just so they won?t freeze their asses off? That was my thought when I was looking through these photos of Sandra Bullock at last night?s amfAR Inspiration Gala. I would love to see Sandra?s little gold dress on its own, but I fear that it probably has spaghetti straps, so Sandra paired it with this tuxedo jacket. I don?t hate the jacket-over-cocktail-dress trend, but I?m just saying, it?s sad that there needs to be a trend for that. Designers should make more dresses with sleeves.
Sandra?s date was Kevin Huvane, an agent with CAA (and brother of Stephen Huvane, who represents Aniston and the like). Huvane purchased a Warhol at the auction event - but he bought it for Sandra?s son!
At this rate, Louis Bardo is going to become quite the art collector. During Thursday’s amFAR Inspiration Gala at the Chateau Marmont in L.A., Andy Warhol’s iconic “Peaches” print was auctioned off for $14,000. The lucky bidders happened to be Sandra Bullock’s agents, who bought the artwork as a gift for the actress’ 1-year-old son, Louis.
“I want to thank Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd for not being cheap f-cks and gifting my son with his first Warhol,” a radiant Bullock joked.
The 47-year-old Oscar winner, who reunited with her Speed costar Keanu Reeves for dinner in New York City on Wednesday, was on hand to honor the late Elizabeth Taylor, who helped created amfAR in 1985.
“Earlier this year, the world lost a radiant woman of courage and compassion. She lives on in every person she touched,” Bullock said of the actress and philanthropist, who passed away at age 79 in March.
“She never thought twice to put her arm around someone who was suffering, and that is the gift we have a human beings, the ability to reach out and touch another human being. Tonight we can honor this extraordinary woman and finish what she started.”

That was nice of her agents. Baby?s first Warhol! Must be nice. And it was great that Sandra was on hand to honor Elizabeth Taylor too! There were photos of Colin Farrell leaving the event as well - but I guess he didn?t do the red carpet. He was probably just there for Elizabeth, his dear friend (he spoke at her funeral too).

Sandra Bullock and Louis were photographed looking super cute while dressed up as pirates to go to a birthday party in Brentwood yesterday. At least Louis was all decked out like a pirate while Sandra put on a jaunty hat to go with her casual jean outfit. I’m pretty sure Sandra tipped off the paps since all the photo agencies we subscribe to have really clear gorgeous photos of this party. So at least I don’t have to feel bad about publishing these pictures. Sandra seems to have signed off on them, and she’s having fun so why not? It’s better to get the press to focus on how much fun she’s having with her adorable kid than to maybe realize that she got ditched by Ryan Reynolds for a chick who seems to date everyone. I love these photos! Louis looks like he’s having so much fun, and it’s so great to see him smile. Most of the time when we see him he looks like he’s being rushed somewhere, and there’s probably a bunch of photographers yelling his name and confusing the poor toddler. He’s relaxing and having fun here, and so is his mom. Bullock really is a PR master. She gets it right every damn time. Even when it’s obvious she’s doing it, she still works it like no other. Well, someone else does come to mind but I’m not starting anything.

Making for quite the adorable duo, Sandra Bullock dressed up her baby boy, Louis, for a pirate-themed birthday party in Brentwood, California on Sunday (October 9).
Also hitting up a jumper house for a little exercise, the mother/son combo took to the park locale while joining alongside fellow parents and their children for the fun-filled dress-up fete.
The weekend outing comes not long after the trailer for Miss Bullock's upcoming movie "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" was released.
The drama tells the story of "a nine-year-old amateur inventor, jewelry designer, astrophysicist, tambourine player and pacifist who searches New York for the lock that matches a mysterious key left by his father when he was killed in the September 11 attacks."
Directed by Stephen Daldry, "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" is set to be released in theater on January 20, 2012.

Stepping out for some personal errands, Sandra Bullock was spotted leaving a skin care center in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday (September 21).
The ?Proposal? babe looked cute and casual in workout gear as she made her way back to her vehicle which was parked in a parking structure.
In other news, ?Drive? actor Ryan Gosling recently opened up about dating ?two of the greatest girlfriends of all time? which includes Sandra along with Rachel McAdams.
He told, ?I had two of the greatest girlfriends of all time. I haven?t met anybody who could top them.?
The downfall to both relationships? ?Showbusiness is the bad guy. When both people are in showbusiness it?s too much showbusiness. It takes all of the light, so nothing else can grow,? he said.
