This week’s In Touch has a story painting Renee Zellweger as this desperate needy girlfriend driving Bradly Cooper away with her demands. Because aren’t all unmarried women over 40 pathetic creatures clinging to their men hoping they’ll propose and rescue them from a life of loneliness? It doesn’t matter if they’re richer than whole countries combined and fitter than some world class athletes, they’re still sad empty people looking for men to fulfill them. I could go on, but I’ll spare you. This sounds like total B.S. from In Touch, but here it is. Kaiser tells me it’s B.S. because Cooper isn’t that interested in the ladies, but she often thinks guys are gay that don’t seem like it to me. (I’ve dated plenty of metrosexuals, and maybe some of those guys will come out someday, but they were straight when I was with them.) Renee seems to love those maybe in the closet/maybe just sensitive types, doesn’t she? Bradley doesn’t mind the rumors that he’s gay and once called it “fantastic” that he was linked with Victor Garber.
Renee Zellweger doesn’t have a part in her boyfriend Bradley Cooper’s new movie. Yet she’s clocked so much time on the set, the cast and crew have a running joke that she should be listed in the credits. “She can be a bit smothering,” reveals her friend, who says that when Renee is not visiting Bradley on the set of The Dark Fields, she’s calling or texting him - and she’s also spent a lot of time bonding with his mother. “Renee’s trying to prove she’ll be the perfect wife. She’s 100 percent ready to marry Bradley and she’s been more than vocal about it.”
Renee, 41, and Bradley, 35, have been dating since last July, and things got serious very quickly. “They were talking marriage before their third date,” says the friend, adding that Bradley was initially starstruck by Renee. “He was hardly a household name and couldn’t believe his luck that he was dating Renee.”
But now, less than a year into their relationship, Bradley feels suffocated by Renees clinginess. “They are still together, but he’s pulling back a lot,” says his friend, who adds the actor’s failed marriage to Jennifer Esposito has made him hesitant about taking the plunge again. “They were talking marriage and kids, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he broke things off sooner rather than later.”

Maybe Renee and Bradley are just in love, and maybe he really wants to be with her. Imagine that. If you believe In Touch Renee dazzled Bradley with her superstardom and then dragged him down with her smothering and whininess. Renee is a weird one, but these two seem like the real deal to me. It’s kind of like how we all came to accept Reese and Jake after we were all convinced for the first few months that it was a publicity stunt. Reese and Jake eventually broke up, though, and I forsee a similar fate for this couple. I don’t think there’s marriage or an extended partnership in their future, but I could be wrong. We don’t really know Cooper apart from the parts he plays and Renee is really guarded about her privacy. Maybe they’re both crazy about each other. Or maybe they’ll break up next week.

It?s gotten to the point where it?s difficult not to mock Renee Zelleweger. And I?m saying that as someone who likes her and thinks she?s talented. But as I?m going through the photos of Renee at last night?s premiere of My Own Love Song, I just feel like?ugh. Enough, Renee. You?re a pretty girl, but stop messing with your face, stop puffing out your thin chest, stop trying so hard to be this fancy style icon and just be yourself. Normal Renee is so much better than red carpet Renee.
Anyway, this is Renee?s newish hair. I think she?s grown out a more severe cut and added shorter bangs. In some of these photos, she looks like she?s aiming for ?The Bieb? hairstyle - with the bangs pulled forward and swept across her forehead, she does look Justin Bieber-esque.
Oh, the dress is Vera Wang, by the way, not Renee?s favorite designer, Carolina Herrera. Do you think Herrera was like, ?Renee, you got The Bieb?!? No, you cannot wear my dress!? I would like the dress better without all of the crazy layers - but if it was just a straight skirt, it would have been a look Renee has worn many, many times before, so it?s nice that she was trying something new.
As for the film, Renee stars with Forest Whitaker, and Renee plays ?a wheelchair-bound former singer who heads out on a cross country trek with her stuttering friend, played by Whitaker, who said the film centers around ‘a very magical, poetic journey’.? Renee told The Daily Mail: ?It was so much fun. I had the best time in New Orleans with [Forest]. It was really a fantastic experience to share it.?

Keeping her man company during his breaks, Renee Zellweger was spotted on the set of "The Dark Fields" in New York City on Thursday (April 1).
Decked out in casual black clothing and joined by her pet pooch, the "Bee Movie" babe popped out of Bradley Cooper's trailer after some quality time with her hunky actor beau.
As for her own career, Miss Zellweger is gearing up for an upcoming appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival later this month.
The 40-year-old will be presenting her new movie "My Own Love Song," which sees "a wheelchair-bound singer and her best friend embark on a roadtrip to Memphis."

This is a cute story that kind of warms my heart. However, it also smacks of positive PR and I wouldn’t put it past Renee Zellweger and her people to stage something like this. That may sound too cynical and normally I wouldn’t assume something like that about Renee, but she seems to be playing the game lately and this is Hollywood. The official version is that a guy paid Renee’s expired meter while she was getting coffee and she gifted him with a sweet note and a $100 Starbucks gift card. It all seems too convenient that the paparazzi just happened to be there to capture the moment and even get a photo of Renee’s note. (And several agencies have these photos so it’s not like one guy just happened upon the scene. Still, she’s wearing the same workout gear she wears everywhere so she didn’t dress up for the occasion.)
She’s usually the one drinking (and carrying) the coffee. But on Wednesday, Rene Zellweger was the person serving it.
The actress was preparing to leave a Santa Monica, Calif., Starbucks when a fellow coffee-drinker noticed that her parking meter was about to expire. In the nick of time, the man slipped some coins into the meter, saving the actress from a possible ticket. Her reply? Zellweger gave him a $100 Starbucks gift card ? with a sweet message.
“Wow,” the note read. “Thank you so much for the kindness. Warmly, with gratitude, Rene!

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard a nice story about Renee extolling kindness on strangers. In late 2007, she gifted a pair of Manolo Blahniks to a girl who worked at a makeup counter at Neiman Marcus who was admiring them. That story could have been PR too, but it sounded genuine to me. Maybe Renee is just the type of person who likes to share her success in small meaningful ways with the people who brighten her day. If this is PR, it’s genius and more celebrities should follow suit. I would love to hear about a campaign to spread joy to the nice people we encounter during the day. Even if it was a marketing campaign for a product or service it could go a long way to spreading kindness. I loved that free hugs campaign, but this would be a little less touchy-feely. I would love to give some small token to the guy who holds the door open for me (I’m visiting the South now, and they all do it, but it still makes me smile every time!) or the cashier who is especially friendly. Maybe Renee started a trend!
Update: the guy was a photographer: I wrote this whole story and was then downloading the photos from WENN, when I saw the photo agency’s version. This guy wasn’t a random citizen as People reports - he was a paparazzo! They write: “The unnamed photographer spotted a parking attendant doing his rounds as he was waiting for the movie star to leave her coffee shop retreat after a shopping trip in Santa Monica, California. The quick-thinking snapper dropped coins into her meter to make sure Zellweger didn’t get a ticket.” So Renee may have given the gift card to thank the guy with the benefit of getting into the paparazzi’s good graces and receiving some positive press out of it. She seems to have succeeded on both counts! Aw, now I like her more.

Sticking to her usual routine, Renee Zellweger was spotted picking up a round of coffees at Starbucks in Los Angeles this morning (March 2).
The “Down with Love” babe looked sporty as she carried the drink carrier, sporting a half-zip pullover with running pants and sneakers.
Renee recently returned from Germany where she participated in the Berlinale Film Festival last month.
Up ahead, Ms. Zellweger is looking forward to the third installment of the “Bridget Jones” films, and maybe even an engagement to boyfriend Bradley Cooper.

Back in the States after spending time in Germany for the Berlinale Film Festival, Renee Zellweger was on the go in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (February 27).
The “Bee Movie” babe looked to be in a bit of a hurry, chatting on the phone while picking up two coffees at the local Starbucks coffee shop.
Meanwhile, Miss Zellweger’s rep recently dismissed rumors that Renee is causing problems by refusing to put on a little wight for her role in the third installment of “Bridget Jones’s Diary”
Her rep tells, “(The story is) so not true. Renee more than anyone would be true to the character.”

I wasn?t even going to write about this, but then I looked at these photos very carefully, and I grew disturbed. This is Renee Zellweger at the closing ceremony of the Berlin Film Festival, where she was a judge. Previously, we?ve seen photos of Renee in Berlin where she seemed to be sporting some kind of bump/bloat/baby/extra poundage. I had high hopes that Renee was stopping with the emaciated look and actually eating the occasional carb, but it seems that within a week in Berlin, Renee dropped whatever that ?extra? weight was and she?s back to looking very, very thin. So thin that the oversized sleeves on her dress look to be about the same width as her chest. For goodness sake, Renee!
The Daily Mail calls this a ?batwing dress? but I think of it more like a throwback to the 19th century of something. I just don?t get the movement for such disproportionate volume in dresses. Everything?s happening in the sleeves, and nowhere else - just Renee?s tiny little waist, hips and legs looking dwarfed by her enormous arms. It?s strange. Also, if you?re going to wear something so fashion-y, why not take the time to do your hair? From the neck up, Renee looks like she was just running around, doing errands.
Oh, yeah, and about the Berlin Film Festival? Roman Polanski won Best Director at the festival, for his film The Ghost. Obviously, he was not there to actually accept the award, but it?s just one more signal that the film community is pretty much on Polanski?s side. I wonder if Renee voted for him? I wonder if Renee knows where she is?

Making her second appearance at this year’s Berlinale Film Festival in Berlin Germany, Renee Zellweger was spotted arriving to the red carpet on Saturday (February 20).
The “Bridget Jones” actress looked gorgeous in a black off-the-shoulder, puffy sleeved frock and smiled beautifully for the flashing cameras.
Saturday’s premiere of the film “Otouto” marks the final event of the 60th Berlinale Film Fest.
Aside from her appearances in Berlin, Zellweger has been the topic of numerous gossip columns suggesting she may be pregnant with Bradley Cooper’s baby. Although one of her reps denies this, reports that she is prego continue to trickle out on the web.

I don?t think I would have noticed this without HuffPo pointing it out, but Renee Zellweger might have a mild case of pregnancy. HuffPo says she looks like she?s ?harboring a mini Bradley Cooper in her womb? and they wonder how long it will take for the ?REVENGE PREGNANCY? tabloid headlines to start. Now, I?m not one of those people (or bloggers) who is constantly on ?bump watch?. I notice sometimes when a star looks a little heavier, or her boobs look bigger, or her face looks more ?filled out?. But I?ve been wrong before - several months ago, I convinced myself that Halle Berry was pregnant again. I still think she really looked like it, but she wasn?t. My point? Just because I think Renee is looking a little knocked up, doesn?t mean it?s so.
Anyway, Renee looks pretty and just a tad heavier, which is a really good thing, seriously. Even if this whole ?oh my God, she?s preggers? thing turns out to be Renee simply eating a large breakfast, it?s still good news. Because the girl needs all of the big breakfasts she can get. And honestly, this is the healthiest she?s looked in a while. Now, if we are breaking news and she actually is pregnant, then good for her. Congratulations to Renee and I hope she and Bradley are the romance for the ages.
Renee in Berlin because she?s one of the seven on the Berlin Film Festival?s jury. She?ll be there for more than a week, so I?m hoping Renee brought lots of figure-hugging outfits for us to dissect. I don?t know for sure who designed this, but it looks to me like Carolina Herrera, who is probably Renee?s favorite designer.

Showing up for the 60th Berlin International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany, Renee Zellweger was spotted walking the red carpet on Thursday evening (February 11).
Looking absolutely stunning, the “Nurse Betty” actress wowed the crowd in a long, sleek gown as she posed for pictures before heading into the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
The 40-year-old actress is among the seven-member jury deciding the awards at the closing ceremony on February 20.
In other news, looks like Renee and boyfriend Bradley Cooper will be spending their Valentine’s Day apart. Cooper told press, “My mother is coming to visit and we are going to have a nice Valentine’s Day.”
