Continuing her parade of hit songs, Avril Lavigne just released a music video for her single ?Wish You Were Here.?
The ?Complicated? songstress took to her Twitter account to share the news about her third single from Goodbye Lullaby.
Avril tweeted, ?[The music video is] simple but emotional. Raw and real. Stripped down.?
True to description, Lavigne?s video features her looking tearful as she sings alone in an empty room, moving eventually to a bathtub.

She?s always up to something, and last night (August 23) Avril Lavigne was psotted at the MAGIC Abbey Dawn After-Party in Las Vegas.
The ?I?m With You? songstress hammed it up to promote her clothing line at Pure Nightclub inside Caesar?s Palace and looked to be having a marvelous time.
Avril also helped her boyfriend Brody Jenner celebrate his 28th birthday at The Bank Nightclub inside the Bellagio Resort and Casino this week.
Jenner was given a West Coast beach themed birthday cake decorated with surfboards and the names of his favorite surfing spots.

I’ve been waiting a long time for this day to arrived, Avril Lavigne is wearing something other than her silly punk princess costume. Finally! The woman has got to be in her thirties, I have no idea how old she is, enough with the trucker caps and Pink hair. It’s time to grow up. Clearly

I wanted to give props to Avril Lavige for ditching the raccoon makeup (I know it doesn’t look like she did, but just compare her here with one of the last times she was papped, below), wearing a very tasteful, if plain, dress, and actually designing it herself as part of her Abbey Dawn line. Ok, so maybe she didn’t design it herself, because it doesn’t have Pink skulls, purple tiger print, black and yellow stripes and a hoodie on it. She had the sense to slap her label on this otherwise unremarkable black short dress with a sheer neckline, though, and that’s something for Avril.
I also really love her stars and stripes shoes. This is the way to rock the new stars trend instead of wearing a fug dress with them splashed all across the front like Fergie. The shoes are too big and she’s wearing that whiteout polish that’s inexplicably popular now, but those complaints are minor.
Here’s one of the last times Avril was papped (above), which was outside an interview with Extra on 7/12. I really hope she was crying, like I don’t want her to have been reduced to tears or anything but that’s the only excuse for this awful makeup.
And here she is promoting her fashion line in Berlin on 7/7/11. I live in Berlin and while we have a thriving punk scene here it’s authentic and gritty, not looking like a teen girl who cut up her jeggings to sneak out of her parents house and drink Jaeger with her girlfriends. Who am I kidding? There are just as many wannabe kids here and she’d fit right in.
This is Avril at the Much Music awards on 6/19. See what I mean? She was so much improved last night. I think she looked shyer in her big girl dress too.

Taking a break from tour efforts, Avril Lavigne was on hand for the 2011 Teen Choice Awards in Universal City, CA on Sunday (August 7).
The ?Sk8er Boi? singer looked beautiful in black as she took to the Gibson Amphitheatre in preparation of the annual fan voted awards ceremony.
Hosted by Kaley Cuoco, the 2011 Teen Choice Awards air live on FOX from 8-10PM ET while featuring performances by Selena Gomez and The Scene, Demi Lovato, will.i.am and OneRepublic.
Among the stars slated to take the stage to dole out surfboards to the night's lucky winners are Taylor Lautner, Cameron Diaz, the Kardashian sisters, Justin Bieber and Victoria Justice.
Meanwhile, "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" leads the pack with 13 nominations, followed by "Glee" (9), "The Vampire Diaries" (7) and "The Hangover Part II," Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez (6).

Treating themselves to a romantic outing, Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner were spotted on a dinner date in Los Angeles last night (July 12).
The ?Complicated? singer and her handsome beau hit up Madeo restaurant in West Hollywood for some delicious eats and found shutterbugs waiting for them as they made their exit.
Earlier in the day, Avril was over at The Grove for an interview with Mario Lopez on his entertainment news program ?Extra.?
Later this week, Ms. Lavigne is scheduled to give a live performance on ?America?s Got Talent.?

Stepping out to promote her clothing line, Avril Lavigne was spotted leaving Ritz Carlton Hotel in Berlin, Germany earlier today (July 6).
The 26-year-old pop/rock songstress kept it casual for her mid-week meetings, dressing in a black cut-off t-shirt, black leggings, and a pair of running shoes.
After what appears to be a super-successful workday, the fashion designer took to Twitter to reveal some exciting news, writing, "Great day at Bread and Butter in Berlin. Abbey Dawn signed new stores in Spain, Portugal, Ireland, France, Poland, Germany. So cool :) xo"
Lavigne, who is looking to expand her line to footwear and denim in the future, recently told press, "Our main goal right now is to make our clothes available to fans all over the world. When I see girls wearing Abbey Dawn, it's awesome."
