The best living blind item of the year has come to its logical fruition. January Jones gave birth on Tuesday to a healthy baby boy. She named her son Xander Dane Jones. Xander because? she got knocked up while doing X-Men: First Class, so she thought she?d give her baby an X-name? If she?d gotten pregnant by someone on the set of Mad Men, she?d probably have named the kid Maddox or Madison or MadMenlina. So let?s get through the basics first:

Mad Men star January Jones welcomed her first child on Tuesday, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
Son Xander Dane Jones and the new mom are “doing great,” the rep says.
Jones, 33, chose to keep the sex of her baby under wraps, remarking “it’s going to be a surprise for me” during a June interview.
The actress announced the pregnancy in April. A source told PEOPLE at the time, “She?s really looking forward to this new chapter in her life as a single mom.”

Congrats to January and little Xander, and may they stay happy and healthy for a long time. January was spotted and photographed on a nearly daily basis, mostly coming in and going out of prenatal yoga, so I bet the birth was probably pretty easy for her.
Now, shall we talk about paternity? Why not? I feel like January is acknowledging that she got knocked up by *someone* on X-Men: First Class because she chose this odd X-name. In the past, I guessed everyone from James McAvoy to Michael Fassbender to Olivier Platt (I still have my fingers crossed for Platt) to Kevin Bacon. But really, the father is ALLEGEDLY Matthew Vaughn. That?s what all of the theorizing and pondering and blind items and reports led up to: Matthew Vaughn ALLEGEDLY cheated on his wife Claudia Schiffer and ALLEGEDLY got January pregnant with her little X-baby. I seriously hope Vaughn is shelling out some hush money too. Allegedly.

January Jones got pregnant during the filming of X-Men: First Classand today she’s finally given birth to the little bastard. I use that term lovingly. Sort of. She named the kid Xander Dane Jones.
January Jones gave birth to a baby boy named Xander Dane Jones on Tuesday, her rep tells Us Weekly.
“Mom and baby are doing great,” the rep says.
Just once I’d like Us or PEOPLE to write “Mom and baby are doing terribly” because you know “Mom and baby are doing great” is pretty much a given every the time. I’m just saying we should mix things up a little and not be so predictable.

Welcoming her first little one into the world, January Jones has given birth to a baby boy!
The "Mad Men" actress is now the proud mother of a healthy son named Xander Dane Jones, who worn born on Tuesday, September 13th.
The 33-year-old's rep told People magazine that mother and baby are "doing great".
Having announced that she was to become a first-time mom back in April, Miss Jones has so far refused to reveal the identity of the tot's father.

Doing her best to keep her pregnant body in shape, January Jones was spotted leaving a yoga studio in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday (August 25).
The ?Mad Men? beauty looked cute and casual in fitness wear while making sure to take some water along to stay hydrated during her figure-toning routine.
In recent news, Jones? ?Mad Men? co-star John Slattery came to her defense after her on-screen son, Jared Gilmore, told TV Guide that she is ?serious? and not ?as approachable as the others.?
Sticking up for January, Slattery told, ?I mean, that?s the character. Betty Draper is an intimidating woman I suppose, if you were a 7-year-old boy (or) her son.?
He added, ?No, she?s sweetheart. We got lucky. We don?t have anybody like that.?

Making sure to stay fit while awaiting her bundle of joy, January Jones got active at a prenatal yoga class in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday afternoon (August 23).
Looking to have enjoyed her weekly workout routine, the "X-Men: First Class" momma-to-be showed off her burgeoning baby bump in a tight-fitting gray top and spandex shorts as she exited the fitness center.
Meanwhile, one of January's "Man Men" co-stars has come to her defense by refuting claims made earlier this week by Jared Gillmore, the young actor who plays her son in the drama.
After hearing Jones be described as "unapproachable" and "not as nice" as others on set, John Slattery went to E! Online, telling, "I mean, that's the character. Betty Draper is an intimidating woman I suppose, if you were a seven-year-old boy [or] her son," adding that she's not the stiff person that many have pinned her to be, "She's a sweetheart. We got lucky. We don't have anybody like that."

The kid who played Bobby Draper on Mad Men, Jared Gilmore, is leaving the show for ABC’s Once Upon a Time. Naturally, he did an interview with TV Guide and told them the person he’d miss least on the show is January Jones. He also gave the actor replacing him some advice. Stay away from that bitch.
?Be careful around January [Jones]. She?s not as approachable as the others,? Jared told the mag. ?She?s really serious about what she does. Everyone else is so nice.? — Access Hollywood
January Jones is probably like one of those chocolates with a hard outer shell surrounding a soft, gooey center. A soft, gooey center that’s grown stale. Let’s just say if new Bobby Draper doesn’t remember all his lines, January won’t be afraid to cut a bitch.

Progressively, as her pregnancy goes on and January Jones continues to keep her mouth shut about paternity, she?s been getting some heat and some criticism. Lainey pointed out last week that it seems like people in Hollywood - official players and people who matter - don?t have any problems calling January out, or publicly stating their dislike of her. Now, as you might remember, I was never a fan. I always thought she was pretty stupid, vapid and full of herself. BUT - I grew to have some begrudging respect for her because of the baby-daddy drama. She?s played it in an interesting way, increasing speculation and garnering more attention for herself, all while looking private. Her baby drama is what makes her interesting to me - that, and the idea that she?s carrying a little Matthew Vaughn, or a little Fassbender, or a little James McAvoy (or Oliver Platt!).
Anyway, it turns out that January isn?t all alone now that she?s been labeled with the scarlet A (?A? for ?Allegedly boning a married dude and getting pregnant?). She may be mocked and criticized, but she has a friend! One friend. Jennifer Carpenter, best known as Deb on Dexter, and the ex-wife of Dexter star Michael C. Hall. I had no idea Jennifer and January were and are friends, but they?ve been pap?d twice in four days. Remarkable.
Perhaps Jennifer is the baby-daddy? Or maybe it?s Michael C. Hall, and Jennifer and January are commiserating because they both got dumped (for Julia Stiles?)? This could really spin out of control. By the way, January just did yet another interview where she managed to avoid talking about paternity - you can read some highlights here. She really is playing this so well.

Showing off her growing belly along the way, January Jones was spotted leaving a prenatal yoga class in Silver Lake, Los Angeles earlier today (June 14).
The 33-year-old, who has been keeping active in the health-conscious classes, sported a baby bump-hugging t-shirt and black leggings for today's exercise session.
Meanwhile, January's "Mad Men" co-star, Christina Hendricks, has shown nothing but love to the mother-to-be, telling press, ?I?m going to see her next week. She sounds really happy and excited."
Hendricks kindly added, ?I know January is going to be very warm and tender. I just think she?s gonna rock.?

Making her way into class with an ice cold drink and workout mat in-hand, the "X-Men" actress and momma-to-be showed off her super-adorable growing baby bump in a tight black t-shirt.
As of recent, January has been on the receiving end of some not-so-nice comments - one of those being from "Lost" producer Damon Lindelof, who tweeted about her performance in the new superhero sequel, writing, "Emma Frost's THREE mutant powers: Telepathy, Transformation to Solid Diamond and last but not least, Sucking at Acting."
Just last month, "Hangover 2" star Zach Galifianakis slammed Jones during a "ShortList" magazine interview, calling her "rude" after recalling his unpleasant first encounter with the actress.
