These are photos of Chelsea Handler at the Memorial Day kick-off party in the Hamptons, sponsored (and for, I think) Hamptons Magazine. No, maybe the ?kick-off? is for the ?Hamptons season??? Meaning that everybody who owns a house in the Hamptons opens it up officially on Memorial Day? Sure. Whatever. I don?t know Hamptons House Etiquette. I?m too busy eating baby seal pate on my yacht whilst rubbing diamond cream on my ass implants.
Anyway, Chelsea is the cover girl for Hamptons Magazine?s newest issue. Look at how nice the photo shoot is:
She looks almost pretty, very beachy and very much like her BFF Jennifer Aniston. Now look at the photos from the Memorial Day event. I mean? good God, was she on some kind of crazy bender and she just decided to show up to a party without sleep? She looks like a character actress with a meth problem who is constantly being typecast as ?Crackhead #2? on various cop shows. The contrast between ?the real Chelsea? and the ?Shopped Chelsea on the cover is even more stark considering that they made her pose in front of the cover! Oh, cruel world. Cruel magazine!
By the way, in the interview with Hamptons Magazine, Chelsea called out P. Diddy, because apparently it?s like looking in a mirror or something. She tells the magazine: ?P. Diddy was the only one I was like, ‘Get away from me.’ He’s so late all the time — maybe he won’t show up in the Hamptons until summer is over? [but] rappers are great interviews because they just don’t really care and they are willing to say anything. And I love that because that’s kind of how I am. They all hit on me. I love Pharrell and thought he was really sweet. Nelly, too.” No comment.

Chelsea Handler gave an interview to the New York Times a few days ago, and I just now got a chance to skim it. It?s written in an odd way? like, I find the NYT interviewer WAY more annoying than I find Chelsea, and usually she?s the one who plucks my last nerve. I don?t know if Chelsea was drunk or hungover or she was just over the super-solicitous reporter, but Chelsea seemed different in this peace. Not nicer or less bitchy, she just explains her point of view in a more interesting way than I?ve heard from her. Of course, it becomes clear that Chelsea is totally over the E! gig. She wants to do movies. She wants to have a show on HBO. She thinks she?s a star! Oh, how much would I love to see Chelsea fall flat when she tries to branch out? Mean? Sure. Whatever. Handler on her relationship with Andr Balazs, and whether she?ll ever use him for comedy: ?I won?t be doing that with Andr? [you draw the line] when they ask you to,? she said with a curt laugh. ?No, he didn?t ask, but if somebody asks you not to speak about them ? or make fun of them publicly, I should say ? then you try to respect that. Obviously you can?t avoid that entirely, because I?m not a liar and I?m not going to lie about anything, really. But, yeah, I won?t be discussing our personal life ? before, during or after our relationship.?
On being over her E! show: ?There?s only so much of this nonsense you can talk about before your brain starts to feel like it?s bleeding,? she said.
She wanted to be an actress first, and now she?s doing movies, like a part with Reese Witherspoon in This Means War: ?The fact that I did standup at all was that I was just out of ideas,? she said. And what she discovered doing standup was not only her voice, but that she liked being in control as well. ?Nothing goes on the air or in the books that I don?t approve,? she said. ?With every facet of everything, I?m in charge, and that?s the way I like it.? And did she think she needed acting classes to prepare for a movie?
Ms. Handler chuckled. ?I don?t take it that seriously. You can act or you can?t. I?m sure a lot of people who are serious about acting would disagree, but I?m not really worried about them.?
On political correctness and abortions: ?People are too P.C.,? she said. ?We need to be focusing on other things. We?re seeking out such grossness in human behavior and want such mindless entertainment. ?The Real Housewives of Atlanta? and some of these other shows are more racist. Or ?16 and Pregnant.? Getting rewarded for being pregnant when you?re a teenager? Are you serious? I mean, that makes me want to kill somebody.? She continued: ?I had an abortion when I was 16. Because that?s what I should have done. Otherwise I would now have a 20-year-old kid. Anyway, those are things that people shouldn?t be dishonest about it.?
On not being like Tina Fey: ?I don?t know if I?m going to be what people call mainstream, ever,? she said. ?My personality is just too obnoxious.?
A new show? She has been kicking around ideas for a show, she said, ?one that has never been done before,? and indicated that it would be journalistic rather than a talk show. ?I need to do it for my own.? (When I called her publicist, Stephen Huvane, later to ask if she was on the level, he said that she was but that it was too soon to discuss the details.) She told me: ?If it?s not with NBC, then I?ll go to HBO or another channel. I?ll do whatever I want to do. I?m not discouraged at all anymore. [What convinces me that I can do it is]?my career. There?s hope for anything.? She glanced down at her lap. ?One second ? my alarm is going off.? She checked her messages. ?Here?s Reese Witherspoon now,? she murmured, and then looked back at me.

I chuckled a bit at ?I don?t take it that seriously. You can act or you can?t. I?m sure a lot of people who are serious about acting would disagree, but I?m not really worried about them.? So, she didn?t take any acting classes, and she?s not worried about people criticizing her for being a bad actress. Good to know. I had forgotten that she was cast in that movie with Reese. Ugh. Now I?m totally not going to see it (it has Chris Pine in it too, who I cannot stand either).
Re: the abortion comment. She absolutely has a point. Didn?t think I would acknowledge it? I think Chelsea made the right choice for her, and it?s her prerogative and people should be honest about it. And I think our society is really screwed up with these teen pregnancy shows. It IS disgusting.

Chelsea Handler is on tonight?s Joy Behar show on? Headline News, right? Joy isn?t on CNN. Chelsea is still promoting her new book, obviously, and she and Joy hit all of the highlights of Chelsea?s comedy: jokes about black people, jokes about fat people, and jokes about Angelina Jolie. Here?s a clip of the show, with some highlighted excerpts:
On 50 cent: “We dated, very casually? He’s a very sweet, nice guy… I was sampling, kind of, the atmosphere, seeing what was out there, and I was satiated. I wanted to see if I still liked chocolate? I liked it for a little bit, but not long-term.?
On Kirstie Alley and DWTS: “I mean, obviously I had to watch when Kirstie Alley was on because I had to see what was going to happen to the floor, but … (Laughter) … I just … I can’t watch that show. She hates me already. She’s mad because we make fun of her. She hates me … well I know why she hates me and I sleep well at night so I’m okay with it.”
On the well-publicized rant against Angelina Jolie: ?I?ll never apologize for calling Angelina a homewrecker. It shouldn?t have gotten a lot of press because I?ve been making fun of Angelina Jolie since she made-out with her brother. I would never speak for anyone else ? or any of my friends ? I?m speaking from my heart and soul when I call someone a homewrecker.?
Yeah, I didn?t laugh at any part of that interview except when Chelsea was referencing her new boyfriend, Andre Balazs and how he doesn?t want her to talk about him. Yeah, I can see that. Andre is all ?Seriously, I don?t want people to know that we?re dating.?
As far as the Jolie stuff, I guess, Chelsea is trying to say that she?s not screaming obscenities about Angelina because she (Chelsea) is friends with Jennifer Aniston. Sure. I?ll buy that Aniston hasn?t asked Chelsea to bash Angelina. But Aniston doesn?t have any problems with it, now does she?
Anyway? I don?t find Chelsea funny, but I?m getting tired of waiting for her to finally flame out. Also: does she always talk like she just did three lines in the CNN bathroom?

I always get Andre Balazs confused with Arpad Busson. They?re both rich European dudes who have dated celebrity women, and the only crossover (I think) is Uma Thurman. Arpad is the dude that knocked up Elle Macpherson - twice - and never married her. Andre is the dude who has been rumored to be dating? Courtney Love. Seriously. That?s a rumor that?s been going around. Andre and Courtney are friendly, and apparently she always stays at his hotels?? So if this little item is true, I think Courtney Love is going to try to give a beat down to Chelsea Handler. And that is a vodka-soaked bitchfight that I would love to see. Anyway, yes - Page Six claims that Chelsea Handler was snuggled up with Andre Balazs over the weekend. Gross.
While comedienne Chelsea Handler was expected to be at the side of rumored beau 50 cent this weekend at the Sundance Film Festival, she cuddled up to suave hotelier Andre Balazs on Saturday night instead.
Handler and Balazs were spotted canoodling at the Florence + the Machine concert at the Bing Bar and perched on a banquette hip-to-hip at Tao at the Samsung Galaxy Lift. The two had their hands all over each other for hours.
The canooding continued at an after-party, and then the pair popped up at Tao, where Handler already started to grow possessive over Balazs, giving sharp looks at other women who made pleasantries with them. They left Tao at about 3 a.m. together.
“They looked very giddy,” said an onlooker. “At one point Chelsea put her arms around his torso and held him close. She then went around the barricade and he followed.”
The potty-mouth talk-show host had been linked to 50 cent since the fall, despite the fact that both of them have denied that they are dating.

Some men just like trashy women. You?d think that if a dude has already dated Uma Thurman that his standards would be really high. But then Courtney Love happens, and from there, it?s an easy walk to Chelsea.
Also, did you enjoy the description of Chelsea as extremely possessive towards her new guy? She doesn?t even like when he TALKS to other women. Sure, this will last.

Well, The Tourist ?bombed? this weekend, and now everyone is scrambling to assign blame. Despite having two of the biggest stars in the planet, The Tourist only made $17 million domestically this weekend, coming in second after The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Narnia?s number one box office was weak too - only making $24.5, when many experts were hoping for at least $30 to $40 million for the opening weekend.
So what was the problem? Was it the weather? There were huge blizzards throughout the country over the weekend, and most people stayed home. Was it the hideous reviews? Most critics mocked The Tourist as stupid and boring, and Depp and Jolie were accused of having zero chemistry. Was it The Chelsea Handler Factor? Too much bad publicity surrounding Angelina? Or was Depp?s understated - read uncharacteristically boring - performance to blame? Eh. As I said in my review, I think the biggest problems with the film were an uneven tone (Is it a light Hitchcock-esque film? Is it action/drama?) and unmet expectations. The way the film was being promoted, I think people thought it was going to be super-sexy, and Depp and Jolie would be nailing each other in various Venice beckdrops. That?s not what the film was though - instead of something super-sexy, the love story was just kind of sweet and silly.
Or maybe it was just released at the wrong time - this is the time when most filmgoers want to watch their Oscar-bait films. Perhaps The Tourist would have benefited from it?s original release date, which I believe was supposed to be in February or March. I don?t really know. But I?m admit, this isn?t good for Jolie supporters. Our girl was in a box office ?disappointment?. Will the film make money? Sure - when it gets a wide release in Europe and Asia, it will make money. Depp and Jolie are two of the few celebrities with large followings overseas. But it?s still bad news for Team Jolie (and Team Depp).
By the way, instead of going on some European or Asian publicity tour, Angelina is already in the south of France, with her family at their home. This morning she was grocery shopping. Interesting?

I’m not all that familiar with Chelsea Handler, I’ve seen her show once and I think that was enough for me. Kinda like these pictures of her hanging out in her bikini, I don’t think I ever need to see this again. Ever! I guess she looks alright, if you’re into older chicks wearing inappropriately

Showing off her bikini body, Chelsea Handler was spotted sunning herself in Los Cabos, Mexico today (November 26).
The ?Chelsea Lately? hottie looked to be thoroughly enjoying herself as she pranced around in a blue two-piece with a striped hat while the far off paparazzi snapped up pictures.
Chelsea is in Mexico with gal pal Jennifer Aniston, and she had a very special message for everyone on Thanksgiving.
Handler tweeted, "[It's] thanksgiving, and I am thankful for my dog, my boobies, and my life. Happy thanksgiving to you and your boobies."

Over the holidays, Jennifer Aniston and several of her friends flew down to Cabo, of course. One of those friends was Chelsea Handler - whom Aniston has claimed is not a close friend, although Chelsea Handler does obsessively maintain her ?Team Aniston? status publicly, very often. And for that, Chelsea was rewarded with a trip to Cabo. Chelsea and Jennifer even did coordinating bikinis, although Aniston looked much better in her bikini, of course.
There was also something about Aniston possibly having some romantic interest in Cabo too - she was photographed with this dark haired guy, and at one point, it looks like they?re hugging?? But even in these telephoto pics, this dude is giving me ?he?s a gay BFF? vibes. Seriously, the dude looks like Johnny Weir is Johnny let himself go. If this is Aniston?s new boyfriend, then she could do WAY better.

She?s hugely successful with her E! talk show ?Chelsea Lately,? and Chelsea Handler will be taking her comedic flavor to network television.
The off-color comedienne?s book ?Are You There Vodka? It?s Me, Chelsea? will be the basis of a new show on NBC.
Handler?s gig is being pitched as an autobiographical multi-camera comedy based on Chelsea?s life in her twenties.
Werner Entertainment will produce the show and ?Dharma & Greg? conspirers Dottie Zicklin and Julie Larson will write the adaptation.

They were spotted flirting with each other while out in New Orleans over the weekend, and now it has been confirmed that Chelsea Handler and 50 cent are dating.
According to an inside source, the ?Chelsea Lately? hostess and the ?In Da Club? rapper are keeping things casual, but they?re definitely together.
The snitch told press, ?It?s been going on [for] awhile. It?s more of a hookup thing- whenever they are in the same town.?
A rep for 50 cent declined to comment, while Handler?s peeps stated, ?She saves all her comments for her own show.?
