Here are some photos from the Paleyfest panel/media presser for Mad Men Season 7. Shockingly, January Jones was not in attendance, but Jessica Pare was. WTF? Is Season 7 going to feature Megan Draper but no Betty?! Anyway, there was some interesting fashion notes from the panel. Christina Hendricks wore a tribute to the late L?Wren Scott ? this dress is a L?Wren dress from the Fall 2012 collection. As you can see? L?Wren did not really make clothes that look great on really voluptuous women. Most designers do not, so on that, L?Wren was not alone. I appreciate what Christina was trying to do though, and I think this is a lovely tribute to L?Wren?s memory.
But? the dress has a weird effect, right? Christina is so top-heavy, and this minimizes her bust, but at the expense of the rest of her body. Also, I think Christina is debuting a new hairstyle? This looks different to me, and I don?t really care for it.
Also at the event: Jon Hamm, who seemed to be wearing underwear (boo) but there?s still a noticeable bulge. Jessica Pare wore Roksanda Ilincic Pre-Fall 2014, and I hate to admit it, but I love this and it looks great on her. Elisabeth Moss wore Emilio Pucci and Kiernan Shipka wore Dolce & Gabbana. Kiernan has THE BEST style of all of the pre-teen and teen actors in Hollywood. She so lovely. Moss is cute too, but I don?t love the dress.
As for the news that came out of Paleyfest? nothing much. All of the actors were tight-lipped about Season 7 and we really have no idea what?s going to happen. I feel weird about wishing death on fictional characters, but I hope Don Draper is dead and buried by the end of Season 7. I hope Pete Campbell gets knocked around a bit but he eventually finds his footing too. And I hope Peggy, Sally, Roger and Joan survive and thrive. That?s all.

Here are some new photos of Christina Hendricks at a private fundraiser for The Rape Foundation. It was the ‘Annual Brunch To Benefit The Rape Treatment Center & Stuart House’. For this outing, Christina wore this floral dress which? I mean? ugh. I love her, I really do. I want her to look amazing every time I see her. I want to know it?s possible for a curvy lady with enormous boobs to look good in quality clothes. But I really worry that Christina doesn?t know how to dress for her figure. A bold print like this works on slender women, but on Christina? she looks like a mural. She looks like a couch.
I decided to talk about Christina because we still haven?t discussed the fact that AMC and Matthew Weiner have decided to split up the last season of Mad Men. SO MUCH MEGAN. You know it will be even more Megan Draper, spread out across a year a half. And I?m not sure I can do it. Basically, the seventh and final season is going to be split into two halves, the first half airing next year and the last half airing in 2015. They?re also adding one or two episodes to the final season. Weiner said: “We plan to take advantage of this chance to have a more elaborate story told in two parts, which can resonate a little bit longer in the minds of our audience.”
This move actually makes me dislike Weiner and Mad Men even more ? you know how much I hated the last two seasons of The Megan Show or Don Draper Slips Into Alcoholic Oblivion. Slate had a good piece on why the split season makes good financial sense, but it reminds me of what they did to The Closer?s final season, which was incidentally THE WORST season. TV creators try to jam in all of this crazy sh-t into the final season and it?s a money grab, and the result is that the last season of a beloved show is rather aimless and stupid. I?m assuming that?s what will happen here.

I usually find Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks red carpet style a little dowdy — she always looks like she’s been strapped into her dress and flesh is always bulging and spilling out the neck and armpits — but that was not the case at the Emmys on Sunday. Her lace cap-sleeve Christian Siriano dress flattered her figure in every way possible while still providing full lung capacity. Her jewelry and hair were perfection. She’s firing on all cylinders here. Personal best!

My lord, did you see Christina Hendricks on the E! Red Carpet special? When you see her live and in motion, her breasts are really spectacular. Like, you can?t look anywhere else. Even Ryan Seacrest was having problems looking at her face. For my money (and considering the affection I have for Christina and her rack), I thought this was one of Christina?s best awards-show looks ever. Her gown is a custom-made Christian Siriano. He?s the little designer from Project Runway, and Christina has worn Siriano?s gowns many times before. The dress is incredibly flattering to Christina?s hourglass figure and it doesn?t feel like it?s all boob, you know? Also, it?s a damn shame that Christina never wins any awards for Mad Men because she?s really good.
More ladies of Mad Men? here?s Linda Cardellini in Donna Karan Atelier. Linda played Don?s mistress this past season. I didn?t like her character that much, but that?s the way the cookie crumbles. I think this is too ?full-on gown? for who she is in relation to the show. The color?s pretty.
Here?s little Kiernan Shipka in Delpozo. Perfectly cute and age-appropriate.
And here?s the only Scientologist that I like, Elisabeth Moss in Andrew Gn. Lizzie Moss never really kills at awards shows. I think she?s cute and incredibly talented, but looking glam isn?t really her forte. This dress looks like two boring pageant dresses sown together.

It?s one of the biggest nights of the year for the television industry, and Christina Hendricks looked like she was ready to have a good time as she arrived at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday evening (September 22).
The ?Mad Men? starlet was all smiles as she meandered around outside the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, showing off her designer duds as fans and photographers looked on.
This year, the 38-year-old actress earned her fourth consecutive nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
However, she faces some stiff competition with Morena Baccarin, Christine Baranski, Emilia Clarke, Maggie Smith, and Anna Gunn also nominated.

Good God, Christina Hendricks. How are you still upright?!!? These are some new photos of Christina and her husband (the Nerd King) Geoffrey Arend in NYC for the after-party of Everything Is Ours (a play). I like Christina?s newish bob haircut but that?s about it. Her outfit is crazy ? polka-dot blouse with a floral skirt? Honey, no. And while I envy her waist, it seems like she gets more and more top-heavy with every year that passes. The seventh season of Mad Men is just going to have Joan Holloway played by a gigantic boob.
Christina continues to score roles beyond Mad Men too. She was previously cast in the adaptation of Gillian Flynn?s Dark Places as a stripper, but she?s been upgraded to the more significant role of ?the mother?. Charlize Theron plays the daughter all grown up ? does Charlize look like she could be Christina?s daughter? Eh. I mean, I?m glad that Christina has gotten a better role and that Hollywood likes her so much. But realistically, no, I don?t think Christina looks like she could be Charlize?s mom. Additionally ? and these quotes are nearly a month old ? did you know that Christina wants a part on Game of Thrones? OMG. GIVE HER TO TYRION LANNISTER. Christina said: ?I want to be on ?Homeland? because I love the suspense of it? But I also want to be on ?Game of Thrones.? I want to wear pelts and horns and ride around on horseback.? Seriously, I could see her on Game of Thrones very easily. And it would be EPIC. Instead of Tyrion? maybe give her to the Khaleesi? Christina needs to be around dragons.
