Bringing her stylish ways to Bridgestone Arena, Leighton Meester turned up to partake in the 2010 Country Music Awards festivities on Wednesday evening (November 10).
The ?Gossip Girl? actress worked the arrivals area at the Nashville, Tennessee music extravaganza before heading inside to grab a prime seat ahead of the show's 8PM start time on ABC.
Set to take the stage during the annual CMAs for performances are a full slate of top names including Gwyneth Paltrow, Taylor Swift, Sheryl Crow, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, just to name a few.
Meanwhile, the show is once again being co-hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood - marking the third year-in-a-row the duo have helmed the growingly popular country showcase.

Not wasting any time in getting to work on her new gig, Leighton Meester spent the weekend shooting a commercial for the next Vera Wang fragrance.
Shot by photographer Carter Smith, Miss Wang previously explained that she chose the "Gossip Girl" actress for the campaign because she "has the beauty, talent and spirit will inspire all the young women that I hope will enjoy this passionate, new young fragrance".
With the new scent due out in stores next summer, many of the details are being closely guarded at this point.
Supposedly getting $3 million for the work efforts, a source told the NY Post, "This is a huge deal for a young star and one that will turn some of Leighton's 'Gossip Girl' castmates green with envy."

She?s no stranger to high profile industry gigs, and now Leighton Meester has been named the new face of Vera Wang?s next fragrance.
The ?Gossip Girl? gal will be shooting the advertising campaign in New York City this weekend ahead of the perfume?s summer 2011 launch.
Wang told press, ?Meester?s beauty, talent, and spirit will inspire all the young women that I hope will enjoy this passionate, new young fragrance.?
Vera Wang?s new fragrance will hit shelves this summer and will be available in all the usual department store locations.

Stepping out for a long day's work, Leighton Meester was out for "Gossip Girl" on the Hudson River in Piermont, New York on Wednesday (October 20).
Grabbing a streetside bench perch, the Blair Waldorf babe teamed up with co-star Kevin Zegers as they ran through lines before the cameras began rolling away.
Meanwhile, fans of the hit series can look forward to an all-new episode titled "Easy J" airing Monday (October 25) at 9/8c on The CW.
A synopsis via the show's website tells: "Although Blair (Leighton Meester) made it perfectly clear that Little J was no longer welcome in Manhattan after what happened with Chuck (Ed Westwick), Jenny (Taylor Momsen) is tempted by a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Tim Gunn ("Project Runway"), which could be a game changer for her future. Meanwhile, Serena (Blake Likely) discovers something about her new boyfriend, Colin (guest star Sam Page), that may put an end to their relationship just as it was getting good."

The CW costars were both dressed in snazzy attire as they filmed scenes together on the street in New York City.

Making the most of Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, Leighton Meester was spotted at the Proenza Schouler Spring 2011 fashion show last night (September 15).
The ?Gossip Girl? actress looked absolutely fabulous in a midriff-revealing top with a flirty skirt, and lace-up boots.
At the gig, Miss Meester enjoyed primo seating between Elle magazine creative director Joe Zee and ?Parks & Recreation? actress Rashida Jones.
Leighton has always been a big fan of fashion, and given that her show films in the Big Apple, she gets plenty of chances to peep the latest looks.

Ending the weekend with a little more fashionable fun, Leighton Meester showed up for the Derek Lam Spring 2011 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at The Stage in New York City on Sunday (September 12).
The Blair Waldorf babe sat alongside Editor-In-Chief of Harpers Bazaar, Glenda Bailey, with Rachel Zoe and Rashida Jones being among the other stars in attendance.
The fashionable outing comes as Miss Meester and her "Gossip Girl" co-stars gear up for their CW show's season premiere on Monday, September 13th at 9/8c.
Titled "Belles de Jour", a synopsis via the "Gossip Girl" website tells: "Blair (Leighton Meester) has spent a fabulous summer in Paris without realizing her former love, Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick), has been shot. As much as Blair tries to distract herself from the pain Chuck caused her, his mysterious appearance in Paris with a beautiful new woman (guest star Clmence Posy) will force both of them to face what happened. Meanwhile, a newly single Serena (Blake Lively) has been enjoying a Parisian summer of love with boys, Blair and Balenciaga as she tries to avoid the inevitable decision about which of her two long-time beaus, Dan or Nate (Penn Badgley and Chace Crawford), she should return to. Back on the Upper East Side, Nate meets an intriguing girl, Juliet (guest star Katie Cassidy, "Melrose Place"), who helps him realize that his summer of sexual conquests with the help of Chuck's little black book was his way of avoiding his unresolved feelings for Serena. Meanwhile, Dan's (Penn Badgley) baby mama drama continues with Georgina (guest star Michelle Trachtenberg). Finally, the van der Woodsen apartment is buzzing with activity as the "Fashion's Night Out" event is planned."

Enjoying the parties that accompany Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Leighton Meester was spotted at the Roger Vivier celebration of Fashion?s Night Out last night (September 10).
The ?Gossip Girl? chick looked super sexy and fashionable as hobnobbed amongst the crowd and posed for several pictures throughout the night.
Tweeting about her hosting gig, Miss Meester wrote, ?Looking forward to hosting #FNO this evening at Roger Vivier!! Shoes, shoes, SHOES :):)?
As could be expected, Leighton has been living it up over the past few days during the annual and always highly-anticipated New York Fall Fashion Week - as she's been a staple at numerous events with many more to come.

Reporting for duty for another day on the job, Leighton Meester was spotted shooting scenes for ?Gossip Girl? in New York City yesterday (August 31).
Joined by costar Ed Westwick, the CW cutie looked lovely as she meandered around the set in between takes, trading her high-fashion high heels for some comfy flip flops.

There’s a pretty interesting piece in this week’s National Enquirer about how Gossip Girl co-stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester are in a blood feud. Supposedly Leighton is jealous over the recognition and fame that Blakes has been getting lately. The most interesting part of this story is that Blake’s rep doesn’t deny this but merely says his client “has never been best friends” with Blake and just “goes to work and does her job” as if that’s enough to dispel the story that she can’t stand Lively. She tolerates her, and that’s about it. Here’s the Enquirer’s take:
“They don’t even acknowledge each other when they’re not in a scene together,” a set insider told the Enquirer.
“Leighton thinks Blake is an egomaniac who views her time on the TV set as slumming.
“And Blake feels stifled. She’s just ignoring her co-star because she knows bigger things are in store…”
When asked about the feud, Blake’s publicist told The Enquirer: “Blake and Leighton have never been best friends and never professed to be. Blake goes to work, does her job, and goes home.”

The Enquirer goes on to say that Blake “asked Gossip Girl producers to kill off her character because of cast infighting.” (I hope that’s not a spoiler for our GG fans.)
Kaiser reminds me that while Lively has been on the cover of Vogue a head-shaking two times, Leighton is still struggling for recognition. It seems like we’re always talking about Blake’s fashion or boobs, while Leighton is barely mentioned at all in the press. I remember when she was hot sh*t too, and when it was all about how she was born in prison to a convict mom. She also had some sort of half-assed pop music career that went nowhere. Now it’s all about Blake and her upcoming role in The Town and maybe-fling with married Ben Affleck. No wonder these ladies are fighting. One’s career is on the rise while the other one is struggling. It’s not rocket science.
