Last night?s Cannes amfAR gala definitely felt sort of light on the glamour? So I?m actually glad that Katy Perry came out and tried to take it over with this costume-y Marchesa gown. Anyway else, to any other event, I would have absolutely loathed this. But at the moment, I kind of like it. It?s big, it?s silly, it?s ridiculous, it?s totally Cannes. My one problem is that her hair is way too severe. She didn?t need to do a slicked-down center part.
Karlie Kloss also wore Marchesa and I honestly think this looks great on her. I only wish it was a tad longer. And again with the center part! Ugh.
Chanel Iman in Marchesa. This is my least favorite of the Marchesa dresses. She was pretty exposed from the back too, but she liked it ? she kept giving photographers her back angles.

Doutzen Kroes in Tom Ford. I love Doutzen and I love Tom Ford, but I?m not feeling this look. The dress is too ?80s, the hair is too whatever, and she looks more like she?s about to attend a yacht party than the amfAR gala.
Eva Herzigova was one of the few (perhaps only) women in Dior. I like the cape and I like the minidress. Neither is the best thing ever, but she looks good.
Sonam Kapoor in Ralph & Russo. If you had told me this was Marchesa, I would have believed you. It has that costume-y flair. I know a lot of you have been enjoying Sonam?s Cannes style but I think she?s looked overdone.

he superstar singer looked super cute in this printed playsuit that left us with serious stars in our eyes. The sky blue pick couldn’t be more summery with its bright hue, but Katy had made it even more season-appropriate by teaming with coral slip-on sandals and a pair of white sunnies.

Katy looked fantastic in a cleavage-baring strapless leather gown, the sheer lace running the length of either side revealing just the dress itself was holding everything in place.
She accessorised the elegant look with a pair of silver chandelier earrings and a matching tiara holding her black tresses up.

Here is Katy Perry joining Dolly Parton for a medley of the country legend?s biggest hits during the Academy of County Music Awards.
Perry was certainly channeling her inner Dolly on the red carpet when she showed up in the most amazing shiny teal country outfit with matching Pink cow-spotted cowboy boots. The hair-up-to-there Dolly ?do was really the cherry on top.
The two are set to perform ?Jolene? and ?Coat of Many Colors? during their ACMs duet, which Parton tells Rolling Stone was all Perry?s idea. Should be a good time.

Showing off her charitable side, Katy Perry stepped out at Carnegie Hall in New York City to help raise funds for David Lynch Foundation?s Meditate New York Initiate as part of the Change Begins Within benefit last night (November 4).
The ?Hot N Cold? singer was joined by fellow musicians Sting and guitarist Sharon Isbin as she provided musical inspiration while guests looked on in amazement.
Meanwhile, Katy was declared the highest-earning female musician in 2015 by Forbes thanks to her whopping $135 million paycheck over the past 12 months. She told Forbes, "I am proud of my position as a boss, as a person that runs my own company. I?m an entrepreneur ? I don?t want to shy away from it. I actually want to kind of grab it by its balls."
