She showcased her lean limbs in the short dungarees which she layered over a simple black bikini and kept it minimal in the accessories department, shielding her peepers with pastel Pink Wayfarers and opting for a delicate gold necklace.

Here is Olivia Wilde spotted with a big smile on her face as she went jogging in a park in New York City with some very chic exercise clothes on.
The Rush star teamed her hoodie with black leggings that showed off her shapely pins and a pair of black sneakers.
Olivia has a recurring role in Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger’s HBO series, Vinyl.

The last time we talked about Olivia Wilde she was discussing the merkin (pubic wig) which she has to wear for nude scenes on her HBO show, Vinyl, set in the 1970s. I was surprised at how many of you had strong feelings about that issue, particularly Olivia’s embarrassment at having a hirsute nether region, even temporarily. I don’t think she was saying that hair down there is hideous, just that she prefers more grooming in that area. To each their own. Some people like their hair long, some like it short.
Now Olivia is discussing the fashion on Vinyl, specifically the real vintage clothing they wear. She’s representing H&M’s conscious collection, so that’s part of the reason she’s talking about this issue as well.
?I?ll walk around with the wardrobe assistant saying, ?I want that one, I want that one.? I really have been so inspired by all the wardrobe across the board,? Wilde told PeopleStyle at the H&M Conscious Exclusive 2016 Collection event in N.Y.C., adding that not all looks work on her: ?I can?t fit into any of the pants because people in the ?70s apparently just didn?t have hips. I guess that?s all the hormones in our food, but I don?t understand it. You pick up the jeans and they?re straight ? there?s no butt and there?s no hips. They?re for a straight body.?
The actress added that there?s also a 2016 pants trend she has trouble pulling off: Boyfriend jeans.
?I try to wear the trend, but it always looks terrible, because I have really short legs,? she shared.
?Almost everything we wear on the show is real vintage. And that?s a lot of effort on the part of our designer and on the part of the team,? she shared. ?We have a whole kind of workshop to take real vintage items and fix them ? because when you buy vintage you sometimes have to do a little bit of tailoring and cleaning. We should just be buying things that already exist as oppose to trying to mass produce everything new. Plus, it?s fun to buy things that have a story so that you can say this is a vintage Halston, a piece that has been around.?
Wilde has also been going to vintage shops since she was 12, so she?s now a pro at repairing old clothes.
?Now I know what to look for and know what to do when I see something that?s messed up. You can buy it, take it to a seamstress and it?s not that expensive fix it, clean it,? she shared. ?It?s much cooler to have something that has history than to just buy something new.?
Her passion for recycling old clothes makes her the perfect person to partner with H&M on its latest Conscious collection, hitting stores Thursday. Wilde starred in the campaign last year, and this year she?s continuing to spread the brand?s message of eco-friendly fashion.
?We think that we?re going to sacrifice style in order to be sustainable, and that?s not true as this collection proves,? Wilde said. ?That?s what I love about what H&M?s done this year and last year. They are really good at showing that you can wear a piece that doesn?t necessarily scream sustainability, but just happens to be taking advantage of this new innovation that they?re investing in. I think they?re very smart about the whole process and pioneers within this movement, which I didn?t necessarily know before. I think I connected H&M with my idea of what fast fashion meant to the world. I didn?t realize how much work they were putting in to changing that.?

While it’s true that people in the 70s were smaller than they are now, I think that saying that they didn’t have hips is like saying women in the 50s had pointy boobs. Straight legs were just the style. Plus when you’re talking about vintage fashion, the stuff that’s left is whatever people haven’t bought yet so of course it’s the outlier sizes. I haven’t watched this show yet but I have to say that I love the vintage fashion on The Americans especially. It’s set in the early 80s and their coat p0rn is amazing.
I recently read a book by a costume designer for television called How to Get Dressed. The author, Alison Freer, says that fit is key to looking polished, not following trends. She emphasizes tailoring, which is exactly what Wilde is saying here about shopping second hand. You can really see the work that goes into the clothing on television and that book gave me a newfound appreciation for thrift shopping. It must be a blast to get to dressed up in period fashion for your job. As long as it’s not a merkin.

As Kaiser has mentioned recently, many women had better party dresses for this year’s Oscars than the ones they chose for the ceremony. Like Olivia Wilde, for instance, who was in an extremely plunging v-neck white Valentino for the Oscars. When she was talking to Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet you could sense that he was struggling not to look down. On Twitter, The Frisky wondered if Olivia was using Kim Kardashian’s gaffer tape boob trick (link NSFW-ish) to keep her girls contained in that dress.

At the Vanity fair party, Wilde switched into another deep v-neck gown, a red Prabal Gurung with a loose flowing skirt, an open back and a bow at the back of the neck. This gown would have popped on the red carpet more, but I get why she went for the more dramatic and revealing white gown – she wanted to stick out and it worked.
Here’s Tina Fey in a similarly cut v-neck red gown, in Carolina Hererra. Hererra used to dress Renee Zellweger for the red carpet and I loved her classic looks. Tina really brought it at the Oscars this year and both her after party gown and her look for the red carpet were on point.
Nina Dobrev was in a floral print scoop neck gray Elie Saab gown with dusty Pink floral overlay. Nina just looks incredible here. This dress isn’t overdone, it has just the right amount of details and I love the skinny Pink belt. Nina just broke up with her boyfriend, Austin Stowell.
Nikki Reed, at the Elton John party, was in a Francis Libiran beige gown with a fish tail, cap sleeves and an open back. I don’t usually like gowns in this color but this works somehow. Her makeup is a little too goth for my taste though.

She?s always been easy on the eyes, but it turns out Olivia Wilde's beauty has been more of a curse than a blessing in Tinseltown.
The ?House? star covers the latest issue of The EDIT, detailing how her appearance has presented plenty of challenges. "When I was younger, it felt like the main point was that [I was] one of the attractive actresses, and I felt totally minimalized by it, as everyone does. But it's worn off, in a good way; I'm happy to have grown out of the place where that is the main point being made about me."
Of getting her indie flick ?Meadowland? financed, Olivia recalled, "Many people said, 'Come to us when the project is real.? I answered, ?The project is real: we have a director, we have an actor, we have a script, it's real.' And they said, 'No ? when you get the guy attached.' Like we were just girls with a little project. It's institutional. It's not conscious. People don't realize what they're saying, because you hear it from both men and women. But there's this sense that a project is incomplete if there's no male participation."

When you’re a star, tabloid speculation on your personal life is just part of the stardom package. Celebs have lots of ways to diffuse these rumors, but no one does it with a hilariously cheeky edge than Olivia Wilde.
When the 31-year-old actress and her fianc Jason Sudeikis hit the red carpet for her new HBO series Vinyl last week, rumors began to fly that their one-year-old son, Otis Alexander, might have a new sibling on the way. The rumors were ignited by photos of Olivia in her stunning black Valentino gown, a gown that some members of the media felt was a cover up for an upcoming arrival. Star Magazine published one of the photos with a story entitled “Baby on Board?” and asked the (somewhat tasteless) question, “bump or burger?” Olivia took to her Twitter account to dispel the rumors in the best possible way. She posted the article with the caption, “Sorry, Star mag, but you got us confused with the cooler version of us. Congrats to John and Emily! My bump is all [burger emoji.]“ She, of course, is referring to another perfectly matched (and gorgeous) Hollywood couple, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, who recently announced that they are expecting their second child.
