Amanda Seyfried and her excellent trench coat are currently in London promoting Lovelace. Of course, Amanda’s been touring for this movie for weeks, but we haven’t covered a lot of it becasue she’s largely talking about pr0n, which makes sense given the movie’s subject matter. At the moment though, let’s talk about Amanda’s new love/lust interest, Justin Long. Last week, Page Six revealed that these two were “almost inseparable” and “cozy in a corner” on Aug 1 at a Cinema Society afterparty. Now Us Weekly says they’re heating up and “seeing where it goes.”
You might wonder what a woman like Amanda would see in an average guy like this. What do we know about Justin Long other than his status as recovering “Mac guy” who has managed to carve out a semi-hipsterish movie career in the aftermath? I only say “hipster” because Justin tends to look a little bit scruffy and often appears in very “twee” movies (although he was great in Sam Raimi’s Drag Me to Hell too). He also dated Drew Barrymore off-and-on for a few years and, at the time, was notorious for his love of going downtown, which may have been why Drew kept him around for so long. Now he might be offering his services to Ms. Amanda:
Amanda Seyfried’s new beau is no stranger to the Hollywood scene. According to several sources, the Lovelace actress’ latest hookup is none other than iSteve actor Justin Long.
“Justin is super private about his relationships, [so] I’m not positive how they exactly met, but they’ve known each other for awhile, when they were seeing other people,” a source tells Us. “They recently started hanging out more, going on date-like activities. They’re both busy … but they’re seeing where it goes.”
Adds another source, the new couple have a “similar sense of humor.”
Though the pair has remained low-key about their relationship, an eyewitness at a July 30 event for the Lovelace premiere tells Us that they were “inseparable.”
“Justin came alone and stayed close to Amanda all night,” the source says. “They weren’t making out or anything like that, but they were just inseparable during the event. He hung out when she talked with others.”

Who knows, this could just be a quick hookup thing because Amanda goes through men at warp speed, but I don’t think she’s sleeping with all of them by any stretch. She’s already stated that she’s terrified of being promiscuous as well as her belief that you can’t talk your vagina into attraction; so I would like to think she keeps these dudes around long enough to see if she wants to get physical and, if not, buh bye.
Then again, Amanda is famous for dating douches too. As in Dominic Cooper, Ryan Phillipe, and Josh Hartnett. So maybe Justin is a bit of a douche, and she might just be attracted to that too.

Taking on the right attitude to portray a porn star, Amanda Seyfried had no trouble with nude scenes in her film "Lovelace."
Speaking about the spicy scenes, the "Les Misrables" star admitted, "It's funny, because I felt liberated when I was doing it. I'm sure people that are very protective of me wouldn't feel very comfortable with that, but it's like, what's the big deal?"
Speaking of liberating, the 27-year-old actress carried on with that theme as she went bra-less in a sparkly sleeveless top at the promotional event.
Continuing to explain her attitude, Amanda said, "Growing up I was made to feel nudity was wrong because everything was always censored in movies, and it was just like, why are we covering ourselves up?"

GQ sat down with Peter Sarsgaard and Amanda Seyfried to talk aboutLovelace, the new film their in opening Friday. They wanted to know why they decided to do this movie.
On what motivated them to join the cast
Seyfried:I just wanted to play somebody real. I needed a challenge?that was the initial thing.
Sarsgaard:I was really reluctant to do it. I?m not sure I have an honest answer for that question. I mean, it was kind of the opposite of everything else that was going on in my life at the time. I had a pregnant wife. Like, jumping into a world and getting lost?it was the exact opposite of being a father. The violence, the sex. That was probably the reason I didn?t want to do it, theoretically, but it?s probably all the reasons that drew me to it as well.
On when they first experienced porn
Seyfried: Yeah. I was five or six. Six, I think.
Sarsgard: You were six?
Seyfried: Yeah. It was a cop?a guy dressed in a cop costume, and it was a girl going down on him. It was the first time I?d ever seen a penis, and I remember it being very graphic, and I remember when he came: it was so terrifying. It was funny. But it was also,like, so, so, so wrong. It was 1990 or 1991, and so AIDS was really rampant. Watching any kind of sexual acts when you?re a six-year-old would make you think you were going to contract AIDS somehow.

Amanda Seyfried had a busy but glamorous day promoting her new film, Lovelace, around NYC.
She started out her morning by joining her costars Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone, Debi Mazar, and Adam Brody for a press conference to discuss the biopic, which tells the story of 1970s porn star Linda Lovelace, who rose to fame through her iconic adult film, Deep Throat.
Earlier in the day, Amanda promoted the flick during an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman.

Last night’s premiere of Lovelace in New York brought out the talent for the most part with one key omission, which I’ll discuss in just a moment. Amanda Seyfried looked understatedly gorgeous in this dark blue strapless dress with a bit of a flouncy, asymmetrically tiered dress. The dress is Givenchy as are the shoes, and this look is so much better than her Elie Saab at the Berlin premiere. While her outfit seems youthful and fresh, Amanda went totally old school with her hair and makeup. She’s got the best hair, really, and those shiny curls paired with bold red lipstick and smokey grey eyes really hit the spot.
In sharp contrast to Amanda’s rather subdued turn on the sidewalks of NYC, Sharon Stone went for the exact opposite vibe in a very form-fitting white dress with gold, bullet-y accents. I’m not loving this look at all because it’s so beachy and out of place at an evening, Big Apple event, but at least we can say Sharon is always true to herself. Also, that hair is huge. She must have applied some Rave hairspray and blow-dried upside down.
Now guess who didn’t show up for this screening? James Franco, who plays Hugh Hefner but was too busy shilling for an electric BMW to support his ART at a silly movie premiere. But here is Gloria Steinem, who always looks awesome.
Debi Mazar looked a bit outdated in a red lace dress. I’d have preferred to see her in something tight and shiny instead of something that seems itchy and uncomfortable.
Here are the “hot guys” of the premiere, and I’m sad to say that the premiere may have benefited from some Franco. Zachary Quinto looks so hipsterish that it’s painful. James Marsden and Adam Brody are just meh. Chris Noth has (sadly) lost the hot, and I just can’t take Hank Azaria seriously since he started playing Gargamel in those Smurfs movies.

Stepping out for some fresh air and sunshine, Amanda Seyfried took a walk through New York City?s West Village neighborhood on Monday afternoon (July 29).
The ?Mama Mia? stunner opted for a casual ensemble including a loose-fitting white top with olive green trousers and leather strap sandals as she met up with a few pals along the way.
Always an animal lover, Amanda stopped to pet her friend?s furry pooch, though she didn?t seem to have her own canine companion along.
Seyfried previously declared that her Australian Shepherd named Finn is her best buddy. ?No animal has the same kind of place in my heart that Finn does.?

Amanda Seyfried covers the August issue of Elle, and as always, she is ethereally beautiful as well as pale and interesting. Amanda is promoting Lovelace, which comes out stateside on August 9 in limited release; have you watched the trailer yet? The movie doesn’t look that great even if there’s a ton of talent — including Peter Sarsgaard, Adam Brody, West Bentley, Chloe Sevigny, and Chris Noth — involved. Oh and naturally, James Franco (who is all about classifying pr0n as “art”) is playing Hugh Hefner.
In this shoot, Amanda looks absolutely gorgeous, and the styling is lovely with the exception of the heart-print knickers shown in the below photo. The excerpts are rather revealing too. She talks about how her vagina always immediately knows what it wants, and she admits that she’ll always hold a torch for her ex-douche, Dominic Cooper. Plus some other stuff too:
On playing Linda Lovelace: “I read the script and I was like, ‘Wow, this is the riskiest thing that?s happening [in Hollywood] right now.’ The first thing you think about is that it could have ruined my career. At the same time, I was like, ‘This is my chance to show them, to show the industry, to be recognized.’”
On physical attraction in a relationship: “Everybody I?ve dated I?ve been sexually attracted to immediately. Sparks don?t grow — your vagina doesn?t become more inclined to wanting someone just because you’re around them.”
On her ex-boyfriend Dominic Cooper:: ?We love each other … He’ll always be in my life regardless of what his girlfriends or future wife think. I?m never going to be with a guy that can?t deal with my friendship with him.”
On her current crush:: “[He's] someone separate from my industry life — I?ve known him since he was 16 … I picture him as the father of my children all the time. But it is a fantasy right now.”

What I find interesting is that Amanda says that her vagina always knows immediately who she wants to sleep with, but she’s claimed in the past that she waits forever before sleeping with most guys because she’s terrified of being promiscuous. Of course, it’s totally possible for one to balance both of those things, but it’s just funny that Amanda is talking in terms of her vagina wanting what it wants. Like it’s an animal that needs to be trained or something. And I mean that in the best way possible, if there is one.

Here is Amanda Seyfried caught the eye in cut-off shorts as she fills up her car with a tank of gas at a local gas station in Los Angeles with a mystery man.
The blonde beauty was just as casual and looking slender in denim cut-off shorts and a simple maroon T-shirt along with tan leather sandals.
?Wedding planning!? Amanda wrote on Twitter the day before, shortly after it was announced that the Supreme Court of the United States ruled the Defense of Marriage Act to be unconstitutional.

Taking a break from her busy schedule, Amanda Seyfried stepped out for a lunch date in West Hollywood yesterday (June 27).
The ?Les Miserable? actress showed off her lovely legs in a pair of denim cutoff shorts and a purple t-shirt as she strolled into Hugo?s Restaurant.
Amanda recently wrapped filming on her new movie ?A Million Ways to Die in the West? under the direction of Seth MacFarlane.
And coming up, Miss Seyfried will tackle a pair of projects including ?While We?re Young,? and ?Wonderful Tonight,? so the rest of her year is already chock full of fun!
