Thomas Sadoski, perhaps best known as Amanda Seyfried’s fiance, was on The Late Late Show with James Corden yesterday. Sadoski is promoting his role on the CBS sitcom Life in Pieces, costarring James Brolin, Dianne Wiest and Colin Hanks. He also has a film out in limited release which costars Amanda called The Last Word. Sadoski showed off his wedding ring and opened with the news that he married Amanda on Sunday, in a private civil ceremony attended only by the two of them and an officiant. He said “We eloped, we just took off into the country with an officiant and just the two of us, and we did our thing. She’s the person that I love, admire, respect most in the world.”
He said they wrote their own vows and that “it was beautiful, it was everything that it should be. It was just the two of us talking to each other.”
Corden asked if it was weird afterwards because no one else except the officiant was there and Sadoski enthused “It’s great, it’s sort of perfect. Then you take the dog, you walk through the country and you go home. And you, like, have your life. We went out to dinner. We had a great day it was perfect.”
Amanda is of course pregnant and looks to be due any day now. As for whether he’s ready to be a father, Sadoski said “No, how can you be? I’m more excited about this than I’ve ever been about anything in my life. And I’m also more terrified about it than anything I’ve ever been in my entire life. If I’m too confident then I’m just kidding myself.
At that point Corden changed the conversation to address Vanessa Hudgens who was also on stage. In his transition Corden mentioned that Thomas and Amanda met when they were in a play together on Broadway (because Vanessa was just on Broadway in Gigi). When Amanda and Thomas met on Broadway in April of 2015 he was married and Amanda was with Justin Long. Thomas filed for divorce in August of 2015 and Amanda and Justin broke up a month later.
Amanda and Thomas officially reconnected on the set of The Last Word early last year, and made the announcement that they were dating in March, 2016. So now they’re married and expecting a baby. It happened quickly, the beginning of their relationship was a bit suspect/messy, but they do seem happy. I’ve never seen Thomas interviewed before and he comes across as an earnest guy who really loves Amanda. Best wishes to them. I want a nice family for Finn and I know Amanda will be a great mom.

Amanda Seyfried has a new interview with The Cut where she’s promoting a Givenchy fragrance she represents. She talks a lot about what different scents mean to her, and I’m not going to excerpt any of that because I hate perfume. I’m sensitive to perfume, too much of it in a closed room can make me unable to stay there, and I think that it should be heavily regulated, but that’s a different story. Seyfried, 31, is pregnant with her first child and I get the sense that she’s in a really good place in her life because she’s been particularly open in recent interviews. There’s a kind of strength required in being vulnerable, if that doesn’t sound like too much of a contradiction. Anyway Seyfried talks about being open about her OCD, about Botox and the kind of sameness that takes over when women use it, and about her beauty routine. I like reading her interviews because you get the sense she’s sharing something personal and there very little that’s calculated about it. What do you think of when you think of the word anti-aging?
I just picture a vial of oil. I think of all the avenues people take to look younger, to look like they haven?t aged, not look their age, and to prevent fine lines and wrinkles and sagging skin. It seems like such an ugly thing and I don?t think it?s necessarily an ugly thing. Some of the most beautiful women have lines around their eyes.
There are extreme ways of anti-aging. Face-lifts and Botox are very different, one?s more extreme. I?m 30, going to be 31 in a couple of days, and I don?t want to knock that stuff ? to each their own. But I also feel like there?s a look. When you start doing that, you start looking the same as everyone else. Because unfortunately, you?re conforming to something and your face doesn?t move. Everybody?s faces blending into each other and the more surgery you do, with the big lips, skinny nose and tight brow ? why would you want to look like everybody else [in Hollywood]?
There are a lot of insecurities with anti-aging and a lot of stigmas. I?m terrified of feeling that. But, I think there?s enough products on the market to prevent that kind of stuff. There are behavioral things you can do, like not smoking or not drinking too much. I think it?s easier than people make it out to be. But also, that?s easy for me to say.
I feel like the phrase should be banned. Everyone is aging, by virtue of living another day. It?s impossible to prevent.
We are all dying. We?re all marching towards death.
What do you think the connection is between wellness and beauty?
It?s absolutely connected. Being healthy is beautiful. Being healthy in the inside, it emits through. Your skin is your f-ing biggest organ. You can see happiness through someone?s skin. You can see someone who is taking care of themselves through their skin. You can see a glow that radiates from within.
I always feel most beautiful when I?ve exercised, had a good meal, exfoliated, and washed my hair. I always feel most beautiful after I feel clean. I always feel beautiful after I?ve plucked my eyebrows.
You talked recently about mental health and medication very candidly in an Allure interview. It would have been very easy for you to brush over the question. Why was it important to you to speak so truthfully about it?
There?s a stigma and taboo and it?s not helping anybody. It didn?t help me when I was a kid. I certainly don?t want my kids to feel like they can?t talk to me.
I?ve suffered massively because I felt alone, crazy, and like I was stuck in this hole. I didn?t understand because I was too f-ing young. I took that on for my teenage years. And I had a pretty healthy childhood. I had a great relationship with my sister and my parents, good grades and friends. But I was haunted by my OCD and it would flare up and affect all aspects of my life.
It doesn?t have to be that way. If you have a physical illness or ailment ? you go to the doctor. When you?re having crazy fears, obsessive thoughts, weird compulsions, and you don?t understand why and you think you?re broken, it just festers. It?s a horrible thing. It?s really important for young people to hear other people talk about their experiences in a way that sheds light on them. I do have a platform and sometimes things I say, people listen to.
That 14-year-old me couldn?t sleep for an entire summer. But it would have been nice to have someone that was a little older say to me, ?What you?re going through is actually all right. You?re going to be okay. You just need to talk to somebody.? Or you need this or that. It breaks my heart. I?m very, very close to that child in me. I?m working on it every day. I?m very, very involved in working on it now, especially because I?m about to be a mother.

She’s not wrong about the homogenized look of overworked faces, Lainey calls the phenomenon “LA Face.” Botox and fillers are not popular where I live in the rural south or I probably would have had at least a little something done already. It only takes one friend telling you how awesome her dermatologist is for you to try it. (That’s how my mom got a face lift, although she did have a great surgeon.) Seyfried says she has this line on her forehead which she would do something about if she could still move the rest of her face afterwards. Now that she talked about it I see it in the photo above, it’s barely noticeable though. I also really agree with what she says about how you feel most beautiful when you’ve exercised and cleaned up afterwards. Seyfried is one of those people who strives to be open about what she’s going through and it doesn’t seem like a put-on to me. That, to me, is also beautiful – just being yourself and not trying to put on a front.

Amanda Seyfried has been open about the fact that she wants to have kids, and she’s said this in interviews well before she (officially) got together with her current fianc, Thomas Sadoski. In fact she got a lot of headlines for saying this back when she was with her last long term boyfriend, Justin Long, and then the two of them broke up shortly afterwards. (Which seemed suspicious to me, as does the fact that she had worked with then-married Thomas for several months at that point, but all those things but may have been unrelated.) So Amanda, 30, stepped out at a Givenchy event recently looking visibly pregnant, and has since confirmed that she’s expecting her first child. The Last Word actress, 30, debuted her baby bump in a sheer black minidress at the launch of Givenchy?s new fragrance, Live Irrsistible, on Tuesday, November 29. The Mama Mia! actress? baby news comes on the heels of her engagement to Life in Pieces star Sadoski.
Us Weekly exclusively revealed Seyfried?s engagement to Sadoski last month. The couple met in 2015 when they starred in the play The Way We Get By together and started dating shortly after filming The Last Word earlier this year.

Amanda Seyfriend, 30, has been dating actor Thomas Sadoski, 40, officially since earlier this year. The two met in the spring of 2015 when they worked together on an off-Broadway play and were both with other people. Thomas was married for eight years at that point and Amanda was with Justin Long. Thomas announced his divorce in August of last year and Amanda split with Justin Long right around the same time. The timing was suspect but they waited months to post social media photos together and seem to keep a low profile overall. Plus they worked together again at the beginning of this year so their mutual splits may have been a coincidence. You can side eye the start of their relationship but we really don’t know how it happened and they’re not sharing much publicly.
Amanda was spotted out over the weekend with a ring on her left ring finger. It’s hard to tell from the photo on US’s site but it looks like a simple band with no stone. I’ve been going through photos of her (I included some in this post, below) and she’s worn similar rings recently, one which actually looks like an engagement ring, but never on that specific finger. Amanda’s rep confirmed to US that she’s engaged, and US is the same outlet that first reported the relationship:

On Tuesday, September 6, the Mamma Mia! actress, 30, was spotted walking her dog, Finn, in New York City and sporting a ring on her ring finger. All that was visible of her ring was a simple, thin band.
Us exclusively revealed in March that the two were dating. They were first spotted arriving to work together and playing with Finn on March 3.

So this is the version of events that Amanda and Thomas’s people are putting out, that they reconnected this year and got together when they were both single. That could be how it happened, and I like her and want that to be true actually. Congratulations to Amanda and Thomas! She talked last year about wanting to be a mother and how much she was yearning for kids so I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened soon for her.
This is why I like Amanda, because she has the most photogenic dog ever, an Australian shepherd named Finn. Let’s look at photos of Finn now because he is a beautiful dog with so much personality. Finn is Amanda’s true love! Thomas better not come between her and Finn.

Here’s Amanda Seyfried outside the Givenchy menswear show in Paris on Friday with her boyfriend, Thomas Sadoski. These two made their Instagram debut earlier this month and I believe this is their first major event as a couple. Of course they met while starring in a play together last year, when they were both with other people and Thomas was married, but this is the first time they’re together together. Amanda wore this totally 90s outfit complete with a crop top sweater, light jeans and a leather moto jacket. I love it! She looks adorable and this brings me back to my youth. Thomas was given a velvety hoodie to wear.
Amanda represents Givenchy perfume and she was also in Paris shooting a commercial for the brand. They had her in a light Pink lingerie-look slip with an oversized shirt on over it and she was posing on a bridge with her legs up to the side. You could see up her slip from some of the side angles, and I did see some unfortunate photos of that, which made their way to Reddit. (I’m not linking those.) You can see a SFW video of the photoshoot here, and she was professional during the shoot but was obviously uncomfortable and pulling on her shirt for coverage when she got down off the bridge.
As for those photos, Amanda tweeted that she was wearing a thong and and that “a grown man” is the one who took the photos from that angle and sold them.

it appears she was wearing a nude-colored thong which slipped to the side and exposed her labia.
In this picture you can most easily see the thong string going from the crease in her right leg up to her booty. Above that, gold, boys.
So those of you who said she was wearing underwear were right, in the frontal pictures it’s covering everything, but the underwear happens to be a thong, so in the undercarriage pictures it wasn’t quite covering enough.

These are photos of Amanda Seyfried, 30, and her boyfriend Thomas Sadoski, 38, after voting on Tuesday in LA. I love that she’s just chilling wearing sweatpants, espadrilles and a striped t-shirt and is carrying her own coffee mug, as uf she couldn’t be bothered to put her coffee in a travel cup. Sometimes I do that too but I usually just stick the mug in my car and leave it there. I also own a pair of sweatpants like that, like I think they’re stylish because they’re tapered.
Amanda and Thomas did not seem to have the most auspicious beginning. The timeline of both of their previous relationships and when they worked together makes it seem like she was with Justin Long and he was married, at least when they met. They didn’t officially get together until a few months later, when they were both single though.
There are also some photos yesterday from the set of The Clapper, which co-stars Ed Helms and Tracy Morgan. I had high hopes that this movie would be about the inventor of the device that lets you remote control anything but IMDB says it’s about how “15 minutes of fame destroys the life of a man who works as a clapper in television.”
As you can see there were a bunch of animals on set for some reason like a goat, a potbellied pig and a sweet dachshund in an assisted walking device, but although those animals are awesome, Amanda’s dog Finn is always the star!

Just Jared noted that Amanda posted her first pic on Instagram with Thomas, from an event for no kill animal shelter in LA. They were overshadowed by those beautiful doggie faces though!
