Emma Stone began dating Dave McCary in 2017, and they got engaged in December 2017 he gave her a pretty pearl-and-diamond engagement ring and they allegedly planned for a late spring wedding last year. Their wedding was cancelled because of the pandemic, but then we heard in September that they had basically had a lowkey pandemic wedding with only a handful of people, all wearing masks. Someone said, around that time, that there were rumors that Emma was expecting. No one was sure, and Emma is pretty private, so no one wanted to jump the gun. Then these photos came out:

| Emma Stone in bronze Louis Vuitton at the Oscars: stunning or too structural? | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Emma Stone goes too often to the pastel/neutral well when dressing for big red carpets. I know she cares about fashion, and I know she pays attention to it, but I was expecting another sparkly nothingburger gown in pale Pink or beige this year. She surprised me with this Louis Vuitton. She has a massive LV contract (big $$$), and they?re clearly customizing stuff especially for her. I wonder if this gown was her idea or their idea. The thing is? I love bronze. I love the reptilian ?scale? pattern. I would have absolutely adored this gown if the shoulders had been normal. The ?winged? structure just upsets me. It cheapens the look and makes it gimmicky. Also: she did not put ANY effort into her styling. She just slicked back her darker hair and stuck on some simple earrings.
Laura Harrier got to attend the Oscars because she had a supporting role in BlacKkKlansman (she played a young Black Panther activist). She was good in the film. I first put her name to her face because of her Louis Vuitton contract she?s one of the muses/models for LV, and she spent a lot of time on with another LV muse, Justin Theroux, last summer. I don?t know if they?re still happening. Anyway, LV made her this gown made out of entirely sustainable materials. Several women were doing the ?eco challenge? on the red carpet. I get it, even though I never think these eco dresses are particularly noteworthy sartorially. Also: the necklace doesn?t go with the gown AT ALL.

| Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton trousers at the SAG Awards: cute or nah? | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Emma Stone seems to be enjoying her awards season she hasn?t won anything, and she hasn?t gone into any awards show as the favorite for her role in The Favourite. That has given her the freedom to show up at events, promote her Louis Vuitton contract and just have fun. I really disliked this LV look when I first saw it, but it?s actually grown on me overnight. There was so much fuggery at the SAG Awards, seeing Emma in a great pair of trousers and a really weird blouse is almost refreshing. I still maintain that she needs some new hair people though?
Rachel Weisz (nominated for The Favourite) kept it low-key in this Givenchy. It wasn?t my favorite look or the best look, but she looks amazing.
You guys, I love Sandra Oh and I think she?s incredibly talented, and I love that she?s winning so much stuff for Killing Eve. But I?ll be the one to say it: she needs new people. I cannot believe her stylists let her walk on red carpets looking like this. The hair was a disaster, and this Jenny Packham gown was not good.
Catherine Zeta Jones was Michael Douglas?s plus-one, because he was nominated for a SAG. He presented too, with Glenn Close, in what was a cute little Fatal Attraction throwback. Catherine has been pretty low-key during this awards season, right? And her style has been particularly dated this Zuhair Murad gown would have looked at home at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in 1993.

| Emma Stone looked like a washed-out ghoul at the Producers Guild Awards | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

By now we all know that the guild awards are always the best indicators for the Oscars the Producers Guild winners usually win Best Picture. The SAG winners usually win the acting Oscars. The DGA winner usually win the Best Director Oscar. And on and on. So? congrats to Green Book for winning all the Oscars, I guess. Green Book took home the Producers Guild Award for Best Film this weekend. It was up against Black Panther, BlacKkKlansman, Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy Rich Asians, The Favourite, A Quiet Place, Roma, A Star Is Born and Vice. Seriously, out of that list, they chose GREEN BOOK. For the love of God.
Anyway, a lot of celebrities came out to support their films at this low-key awards show, so let?s talk about fashion. Here?s Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton. Who thought any of this was a good idea? Emma needs better people her stylist could have shut this down, her makeup artist could have shut this down, her hair stylist could have shut this down. The fact that she wandered onto this carpet looking like washed out clown hell says to me that her people are doing her dirty.
Amy Adams in Dundas. Oh baby NO. This is terrible! But it?s good that she?s getting it out of her system at a more minor awards ceremony.
Kate Beckinsale in Yanina Couture. I want to like Kate, but does she really need to go to the opening of an envelope? She needs a hobby. The dress is way too much.
Linda Cardellini (who is in Green Book) in Georges Chakra Couture. Pretty.
I love Mindy Kaling but this is hilariously bad. A ruffle crossing her midsection? LMAO.
Constance Wu in J.Mendel simple, pretty, totally event-appropriate.
Bradley Cooper did he get hair plugs or something???

| Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton at the Palm Springs festival gala: cute or nah? | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The Palm Springs International Film Festival kicked off last night with its annual star-studded gala. I don?t really take the PSIFF that seriously they?ve basically attached themselves to the Golden Globes, and they hand out awards like candy. That being said, organizers are smart they know people will show up because no one minds a day or two in Palm Springs, and most people are in LA for the Globes and the Oscar season anyway. So this gala was basically just a teaser for Sunday?s Globes, and I?m fine with that. Emma Stone was probably one of the biggest names at the gala she wore this terrible ensemble by Louis Vuitton. To be fair, this feels very ?Palm Springs? to me.
Regina King in Valentino. I love her, and I want her to kill it during the awards season, but I?m not sure if this dress gets it done.
Emily Blunt in Roland Mouret. The dress itself is fine, but something has been throwing off her look for months now. I think it?s her hair.
Hey Timothee! Fifty Shades of Chalamet.
John David Washington in Gucci. Someone told him vertical stripes would make him look taller!
Here?s Viggo Mortensen. Did I tell you how much I disliked Green Book? So dumb.
Rami Malek is waging a very effective undercover Oscar campaign, btw.
Melissa McCarthy in Daneh, with her costar Richard E. Grant.
Mahershala Ali, looking beautiful.

| Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton at 'The Favourite' BFI LFF premiere: stunning' | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos from last night?s BFI London Film Festival premiere of The Favourite, an interesting-looking dramedy-farce/period piece. Olivia Colman stars as Queen Anne, a neurotic mess of a monarch. Rachel Weisz plays Lady Sarah, who runs the country, and Emma Stone plays a young, charming lady who befriends Lady Sarah and the Queen. Hijinks and palace intrigues ensue. It actually looks like a great movie and I?m really looking forward to it. I?m looking forward to it despite the fact that few of the ladies are really making the promotional tour into a fashion show. Emma can always be counted on to wear something worth discussing, but the rest of the cast? My lord.
Emma Stone wore this silver Louis Vuitton gown I like the simplicity and minimalism of this dress, and I like that it acts as a more neutral palette for the drama of Emma?s makeup. That being said, I think she was too heavy-handed with the makeup. Did she need silver eyeshadow AND burgundy-black lips? No, she didn?t.
Olivia Colman also wore silver, and this is possibly the most unflattering thing I?ve ever seen. I don?t need to see Olivia in some va-va-voom gown, but she definitely needs something with more structure. This looks like a potato sack.
Rachel Weisz gave birth to a baby girl recently, and this is I believe? her first postpartum appearance on a red carpet. She has that look of ?I?d rather be home with the baby.? Her dress is Alexander McQueen and I imagine she wore it because it was the first thing she tried on that fit.
And finally, here?s Joe Alwyn. He has a supporting role in the film, and he wore a Prada suit to the premiere. His dodgy facial hair has gotten longer since we last saw him. It?s not a good look. I think maybe he?s one of those guys who worries about having a baby face so he tries to grow a beard but it comes in all patchy and gross, so it would probably just be better if he shaved and continued looking like a 16-year-old. Also: I find it hard to believe that Taylor Swift would EVER greenlight a neckbeard. Please give Tay some credit.

Emma Stone is a nice looking redhead. Sure she doesnt really sex things up ever because shes a serious actress, but I guess she doesnt have to since she won an Oscar. Such a shame! Anyway, lets hope her career takes a turn for the worst and she becomes a desperate Instagram model. []

| Emma Stone had her first panic attack at 7, thought she would die | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I haven?t checked out the new Netflix miniseries, Maniac yet, have any of you? The reviews are mixed so I?ll give it a few episodes. It stars Emma Stone, Jonah Hill, Justin Theroux and Sally Field and revolves around a drug trial. But it also deals with mental disorders. Even in the critiques that its mediocre, Emma is getting great reviews for her performance.
Emma has struggled with anxiety and panic attacks most of her life, having suffered her first attack at the age of seven. While at the Child Mind Institute in New York yesterday, Emma described how it affected her childhood and how acting became a way for her to deal with it.
Emma Stone is pulling back the curtain on her lifelong struggle with anxiety.
During an interview with Dr. Harold S. Koplewicz for the Child Mind Institute, Stone discussed having her first panic attack and how that terrifying moment repeated itself over the next few years. The La La Land actress described her first attack when she was just 7-years-old. After first grade before I went into second grade, I had my first panic attack. It was really, really terrifying and overwhelming, she told Dr. Koplewicz. I was at a friends house, and all of a sudden I was convinced the house was on fire and it was burning down. I was just sitting in her bedroom and obviously the house wasnt on fire, but there was nothing in me that didnt think we were going to die.
These type of occurrences happened constantly over the next two years for Stone. It made going to school really difficult for her. She explained that she went to the nurses office every day in second grade and feigned sickness so she could call her mom and go home.
Stone also discussed how acting and improv helps her cope with anxiety. She said improv is presence. Its meditative. Plus, the anxiety can sometimes assist Stone in her acting. She said, I also believe there is a lot of empathy when you struggled a lot internally. There is a tendency to want to understand how people around you work or whats going on internally with them which is great for characters.
She added, You dont have to be actor to over anxiety, you dont have to be a writer to overcome it. You just have to find that thing within you that you are drawn to.
[From E!]
I don?t get panic attacks but I?m trying to grasp what friends go through, so I can be a better friend to them. Descriptions like Emma?s shed light on what they experience. It breaks my heart to think of a scared little seven-year-old sitting in a friend?s house thinking they were all going to die. Emma saw a therapist early on and it helped her immensely. It was in therapy that she created a staple-bound book called I Am Bigger Than My Anxiety that she still has today. Emma said she still struggles and that anxiety, ?still wakes me up in the middle of the night [and] still haunts me to this day.? She is able to manage it by continuing her therapy and meditation.
As Emma mentioned, she also relies on acting to help her cope. That part really illuminated something for me. My son has ADHD and one side effect of his medication at higher doses was to amplify his OCD and anxiety. There were a few nights he?d be so panicked, he had to wake me up. To calm him down, we?d sit in the living room and discuss plots ? books, movies, TV shows. I see now that hyper focusing on those storylines helped run off the demons in his mind. He?s since stopped taking any medication (shout out to my young warrior). Now he invents and draws card games. After reading Emma?s interview, I have a better understanding of how it helps him. I?m happy that Emma has come so far in dealing with her panic attacks. I am also very grateful that she puts her anxiety out there so we can learn from it.
