Her work in ?Birdman (Or the Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)? earned her a Best Supporting Actress nod, and Emma Stone looked hopeful as she attended the 87th Annual Academy Awards earlier tonight (February 22).
Adorned by a lovely Elie Saab frock, the ?Easy A? star was in fine form as she made her way around Hollywood?s Dolby Theatre and chatted with a slew of celebrity guests.
As previously reported by the GossipCenter, Neil Patrick Harris will handle the hosting duties tonight, while Lady Gaga, Anna Kendrick and Jennifer Hudson are all slated for live performances!

| Emma Stone in Monique Lhuillier at the Spirit Awards: lovely or boring? | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos of Emma Stone at yesterday?s Independent Spirit Awards. She was nominated for Birdman and she lost (to Patricia Arquette), which is going to happen at the Oscars too. For what it?s worth, I don?t think Emma cares that much. She?s barely campaigned for her nomination, although she has dutifully promoted Birdman for months. It?s always funny how she?s able to find that balance ? she did it with The Help too. She made tons of appearances on behalf of The Help, but she found a way to take a backseat the entire time and let Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer get all of the (deserved) acclaim.
Her dress is Monique Lhuillier, a label I have never associated with Emma. The dress has a weird cut out detail at the waist, and it provides a weird illusion to make Emma?s waist look even smaller than it already is. I just saw Birdman this weekend, and let me tell you? her thinness bothered me. I?m not trying to start a flame war or anything and I?m not yelling at her. I?m just saying that her weight loss is really noticeable and I sincerely hope she?s finding a way to get and stay healthy.
Marion Cotillard continued her parade of WTF-ery with this completely odd Valentino ensemble. Really? This? I mean, the skirt looks like a typical Marion choice: patterned, chintzy, bordering on silly. But then to throw a Walmart-looking sweater over it?! What the hell?
Kerry Washington in Balenciaga. Is it just me or is this a little bit extra for the loosey-goosey Spirit Awards? Like, it feels pinched and much too serious.
Scott Eastwood brought the bro to the Spirits, hells yes.
Common is probably going to be ?Oscar winner Common” by the end of the day.
Diego Luna is always perfect. I love him.

| Emma Stone & Alan Cumming Check Out 'Queen of the Night' in NYC | Added 9 years ago | Source: Celebrity Gossip |

There?s always something crazy going on in the Big Apple and on Sunday evening (January 18) Emma Stone and Alan Cumming teamed up for a fun-filled night.
The ?Amazing Spider-Man? babe and the ?Eyes Wide Shut? stud, who have been starring in ?Cabaret? on Broadway together as of late, were in the house for ?Queen of the Night? and looked fabulous as they posed for photos together.
Meanwhile, Emma recently told press that when it comes to her career she?s a bit overwhelmed with all of the blessings she?s received. ''It's been wonderful but it's also challenging and I'm going into places that I've never really allowed myself to go before with 'Birdman' and 'Cabaret'. I feel very lucky that I'm getting the opportunity to do it and I don't know how long that opportunity will last - I'm trying to learn as much as I possibly can in this time. It's been incredible but also slightly overwhelming at times just because it's so different to anything I've done before.''

| Emma Stone in a Lanvin jumpsuit at the Globes: unflattering or adorable? | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

What was the general consensus on Emma Stone?s Lanvin look at the Golden Globes? I saw some people complaining about the gigantic butt bow, but you know what? I kind of didn?t hate it. I know many people consider Emma to be one of the best Fashion Girls out there, but I usually think her style is lacking, especially over the past few years. But I liked that she went with a custom-made Lanvin jumpsuit, because lady-pants were rare on the Globes red carpet, and I think the bow made it special. I don?t know? I kind of liked the whole look?
Lorde was another pants-wearer. Lorde was up for Best Song for ?Yellow Flicker Beat? and this was her first time at the Globes. She decided to wear a custom Narciso Rodriguez and as I said on Twitter last night, I liked it. It was different, it was keeping with Lorde?s style, and it was actually pretty flattering. I like that she dressed it up with the big diamond necklace too.
I was surprised by the fact that Salma Hayek was a total non-event. Like, no one was talking about her and I think people forgot she was there. This dress is McQueen and it emphasizes how much weight she?s lost. God, she looked SO tiny.
Anna Kendrick usually disappoints me, so I go into Kendrick fashion coverage with low expectations. So this Monique Lhuiller look was a pleasant surprise. Yes, it?s not high-fashion and yes, it?s not the most exciting thing ever. But she looks pretty and the dress is very flattering.

| Emma Stone Shines For 'Cabaret' Broadway Debut | Added 10 years ago | Source: Celebrity Gossip |

Making the jump from screen to stage, Emma Stone kicked off her run in the Broadway production of ?Cabaret? on Tuesday night (November 11).
The ?Easy A? star was visibly emotional as she bowed for the crowd alongside costar Alan Cumming during the curtain call.
And though she definitely came off a bit of a newbie, audience members overwhelmingly praised Stone for her work on stage.
One theatergoer tweeted, ?Emma Stone visibly has the first-show jitters but she is killing it in @Cabaret_Musical. Charm incarnate! The crowd is insane for her.?
Of the gig, Emma previously told press, ?Honestly, I?m having the time of my life. It?s the hardest thing I?ve ever done, but it?s the most fun I?ve ever had. So it?s one of those. I guess this is what being a parent might be like but without the child part.?

Adding some excitement to the City of Lights, Emma Stone showed up at the premiere of ?Magic in the Moonlight? along with her costar Colin Firth in Paris, France last night (September 11).
Both clad in black attire, the ?Amazing Spider-Man 2? hottie and the ?King?s Speech? stud were in good spirits while greeting fans and signing autographs outside the UGC Cine Cite Bercy.
?Magic in the Moonlight? is the latest project from Woody Allen, and it hit theaters here in the States earlier this summer.
Per the synopsis, ?This is a romantic comedy about an Englishman brought in to help unmask a possible swindle. Personal and professional complications ensue.?

| Emma Stone goes vintage-y in Chloe at Paris premiere: lovely or bland? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos from last night?s Paris premiere of Woody Allen?s Magic In the Moonlight. Emma Stone is Woody?s newest muse ? I guess he?s done with Scarlett Johansson (they hasn?t worked together in a while, actually). In Magic In the Moonlight, a period film set in the 1920s (?), Emma plays some kind of psychic/seer/con-artist and Colin Firth is tasked with proving that she?s a fraud, except he falls in love with her. Emma has been filming a new Woody Allen movie with Joaquin Phoenix too, which I guess will be out next year. Just FYI.
Anyway, for the Paris premiere, Emma wore this rather charming Chloe dress. I tend to think she was aiming for a vintage-y vibe and it works. She doesn?t look like she?s wearing a costume, but there are some vintage vibes to her look, especially her hair. This is the kind of dress that only really works on slender women, you know. If Kim Kardashian tried to wear this, it would be a disaster. Emma?s shoes and Louboutins, by the way.
And I?m also including some photos of Colin Firth and his lovely wife Livia Giuggioli. Livia?s ensemble is? well? not the best. But I still love her. Such an elegant, patrician woman.
PS? Emma put her hand on her stomach briefly during the premiere, which totally means a furry socialist got her pregnant.

I’m sure you guys know that I’m a fan of Emma Stone and think she’s super-cute, I just don’t do too many posts on her because she doesn’t take bi-weekly beach vacations or walk around in skintight leggings 24/7 like all the other celebs her age. (And believe me, I’m just as disappointed about that […]

| Emma Stone in green Valentino at the Venice Film Festival: beautiful or basic? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The Venice Film Festival kicked off yesterday. YAY! I love the Venice Film Festival. The photos are almost always great. The kick-off premiere event was for that bizarre (and allegedly awesome) film Birdman. Michael Keaton is the eponymous Birdman, and Ed Norton and Emma Stone figure into the story as well. Some early Oscar prognosticators believe that Keaton is a sure thing for all the awards. We?ll see. Anyway, let?s talk fashion! For the premiere, Emma Stone rocked this dark green (it reads as black in some photos, but it is in fact green) Valentino gown. LOVE IT. I really do. I like that Emma takes chances with her red carpet choices but it?s gotten to the point where she?s really hit-or-miss. I love that she chose a relatively simple, elegant, classic look. Apparently, she just got a haircut too. Bangs.
Here?s Emma in Proenza Schouler at the earlier photocall ? I usually think Proenza Schouler is so overworked and try-hard (trying-hard to be ?different?) but I kind of like this. Maybe I like it because it seems like the most edited look I?ve ever seen from the label.
Here?s Michael Keaton plus Ed Norton and his wife Shauna Robertson. Shauna gives me Vera Farmiga vibes.
Liya Kebede is everything in this Alberta Ferretti. If you?re going to go with a black gown at a film festival, it should be the coolest, most dramatic black gown. I love this.
I don?t actively dislike Sarah Gadon, I just don?t understand why she?s a thing. She has very little on-screen presence and I really don?t think she?s a very gifted actress at all. But she keeps getting roles in decent-to-good films. I don?t get it. Anyway, her Armani Prive gown was so blah. Maybe I would have loved it on Cate Blanchett, but on Gadon? it just seems basic.

Making the most of her time in the boot-shaped land of Italy, Emma Stone showed up at the premiere of her new flick ?Birdman? on Wednesday (August 27).
The ?Amazing Spider-Man 2? stunner was gorgeous in a textured black top with monochrome trousers and white heels as she joined costars Michael Keaton, Amy Ryan, Edward Norton and Andrea Riseborough as part of the 71st Venice Film Festival.
