I really didn?t think Blake Lively was due until late January/early February, but it happened a lot faster than I was expecting. According to Page Six, Blake and Ryan Reynolds welcomed their first child in Bedford, New York ?over the holidays.? A Christmas baby? A New Year?s Eve baby? Something like that. Blake waited to announce her pregnancy until she had completely launched her Preserve site, which meant we didn?t know about her pregnancy until she was well into her second trimester. As such, it felt like she was only pregnant for a few months, right?
Blake Lively gave birth to her and Ryan Reynolds? first child over the holidays, Page Six can exclusively reveal. The 27-year-old actress gave birth to their child near their home in Bedford, NY, just before the new year. Lively and Reynolds, 37, married in 2012.
The child arrived earlier than expected, but we?re told that mom and baby are both healthy and doing well.
Lively, who has looked stunning as an expectant mom, said in October that pregnancy was a dream come true for her.
She told Us Weekly, ?Its something that I?ve always wanted ever since I was a little girl?I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I had come from a big family so it was always important to me. So it?s just the excitement of that finally being here.?
A rep for Lively, Leslie Sloane, repeatedly declined to comment, claiming the actress and Reynolds could not be reached.

Yeah, we don?t know the sex or the name yet. I was getting a ?boy? vibe, but you could tell that Blake really wanted a girl. We?ll see. I always thought Blake was the kind of celebrity who would confirm the baby?s birth with a short statement confirming the name, but now that she?s shilling her artisanal Preserve crap, I?m kind of thinking that Blake will wait a bit, then debut everything (sex, name, first baby photos) on Preserve at some point. Good luck with that. And congrats on the baby!

Blake Lively has been all over the place this week, but this is the first time we?ve had photos of her in a while. Blake was spotted leaving a NYC hotel yesterday. Which is weird, because she and Ryan own an apartment in NYC? Maybe she was at the hotel on business. As for her look in these photos ? I like that coat. And I like that she?s wearing pants, because a month ago, she was going through a weird maternity-minidress phase and I feared some pregnant ?Marilyn Moments? from her.
People have also been discussing Blake?s hair a lot lately. Apparently, she stopped dying it blonde when she got pregnant, so she has long, dark roots coming in, which you can see in these photos. THR even wrote an article about it, seriously. They spoke to ?L?Oreal celebrity hair colorist Kari Hill,? who said: ?Blake has decided to not color her hair at all, thus growing out her darker roots.? Hill suggests that Blake try some highlights so that her dark roots blend in with the double-process blonde she had pre-pregnancy. You can read more here. Granted, I?ve never been pregnant, but I thought the general consensus was that most hair dyes are safe to use while pregnant? Or is it different for blondes?
Blake has also been giving some interviews, although none of the quotes are very interesting (to me). Blake told People Mag that her mom is her icon of working motherhood, etc. Blake also spoke to the Daily Mail about Christmas stuff.
Meanwhile, word is that Blake?s husband Ryan Reynolds will be playing Deadpool. Filming starts in March? I wonder when Blake is due. My guess is still January/February.

Here are some photos of Blake Lively over the weekend ? photographers caught her out and about in NYC (the blue outfit) and then she made an appearance at the 2014 American Made Summit, where she did a one-on-one with Martha Stewart in front of an audience. The American Made Summit appearance was the white Michael Kors ensemble ? it?s a separate skirt and sweater, just FYI. It?s cute standing up, but it looks uncomfortable sitting down. I kind of think Blake is just coming into that really uncomfortable stage of pregnancy anyway, and she?s still trying to work it with those really high heels. But she?s glowing, obviously. Very pretty. I think the turquoise is a bit much, but it?s fine.
Blake and Martha have been friendly for a few years now, although Blake got side-swiped by Martha?s CEO back in September, during the same interview where Martha went Full Shade on Gwyneth Paltrow. It doesn?t seem like Blake and Martha?s relationship was affected though ? or maybe their relationship is built on Blake kissing Martha?s ass and recognizing her as Alpha Dog.
Preserving their friendship! Pregnant Blake Lively and Martha Stewart reunited at Stewart’s American Made event in NYC on Saturday, Nov. 8. Despite Stewart’s past subtle jabs at the mom-to-be’s new lifestyle site Preserve, the women hit it off during their panel, with Stewart introducing Lively as her “friend and neighbor.” Mrs. Ryan Reynolds, 27, looked relaxed as she took the stage, wearing a long-sleeve flowing white dress and turquoise-colored statement necklace. “You looked very different when I last saw you,” Stewart teased of her baby bump. 1. How They Met
It’s known that Lively and Stewart, 73, are real-life neighbors, but the women also revealed that they first met through their mutual realtor. When Stewart asked about Reynolds, Lively quipped: “When we met, Martha was like, ‘I know how to ride a motorcycle!’ That’s the only woman who can creep up on my man and I’d be okay with it.”
2. Home Life
Lively and Reynolds, who are waiting to find out the sex of their baby, are enjoying their country home in upstate Bedford, N.Y. “I just love it. I’m just a glutton for punishment,” Lively said of decorating the space. The actress also would like to learn how to knit.
3. Family Traditions
Lively and Reynolds’ little one better get ready! Lively and her loved ones have always celebrated the holidays in a unique way. “My family has this horrible tradition — we love wrapping presents,” she said during the panel. “My family doesn’t buy presents until after Christmas because they’re on sale.” Besides traditions, Lively also has bonded with her family through Preserve. Her older brother Eric often takes photos for the site. “My brother — he’s amazing,” she said. “It just shows how important family is to me.”
4. Preserve Isn’t About Her
Lively is having fun sharing some of her favorite things to buy, wear, and eat, but admits she doesn’t know “what the heck” she’s doing when it comes to how much she will incorporate motherhood on Preserve. “I’ve always been hungry for knowledge and experience. I don’t have that amount of expertise but I have an incredible amount of passion?I want to create my own career and I want to create my own world. That’s part of the reason I created Preserve: I needed a world that is my own and I am in charge of that success or failure at the end of the day.”
5. Ryan’s Involvement
Lively’s hubby is hands on with Preserve — whether he likes it or not! “He is probably more than he wants to be,” she joked. “Poor thing, he’s got a nice day job too!” Lively first launched her lifestyle website in July. Last month, she used the platform to announce that the couple are expecting their first child together.

Of course she wants to take up knitting. And I guess it?s a good thing that she says straight-out that she?s not a lifestyle expert or anything like that. You know who?s a lifestyle expert? Martha Stewart. Martha knows about the artisan craftsmen living in the wilderness of rural Georgia. Martha knows about the old-fashioned woodworker in Wyoming. Martha knows about the grandmother making rugs on an old-school loom in Taos, New Mexico. Martha has probably featured all of those people on her show or magazine at one point. So Blake better recognize.

According to an Us Weekly source, the ?Van Wilder? hunk and his ?Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? lady said ?no thanks? to learning the gender of their bun in the oven.

Blake Lively stepped out on Tuesday wearing ?a $1,350 black and red Pendleton wool trench cloak with large bell sleeves by Lindsey Thornburg.? Go here to see the photos. Blake sells the coat on Preserve, obviously, because everything about Blake these days is a shill. But what I found really interesting about those photos is how exclusive they are ? Us Weekly, The Daily Mail and a small handful of other sites bought the photos, and NOT from a photo agency. It?s the weirdest thing. It?s like Blake pap?d herself but she got a friend to take the photos and she posed in the street, pretending not to see the camera. It?s like a next-level pap stroll where Blake controlled every part of the photo-op. She?s probably getting paid on both sides too ? she gets a cut of the exclusive sales of the photos, plus people are being directed to Preserve to buy the same coat.
As for Blake?s pregnancy, we?re at the point where tabloids are guessing about the sex of the baby. Us Weekly?s sources claim that Blake and Ryan don?t even want to know:

And she’s taken care of herself while expecting as well, the insider adds. “She is [feeling] super relaxed and mellow,” the source said of the expecting star.

But! In Touch Weekly?s sources claim that Blake is definitely having a girl. A source says: ?She?s having a girl and is very excited about it. Friends have even started buying her little girl?s clothing.? Blake has been outspoken about wanting daughters in the past, but you know what? I?m probably wrong, but my gossip gut is saying she?s carrying a boy. I don?t know why I think that, it?s just a feeling. One thing I don?t believe is that Blake and Ryan don?t want to know the sex. To my way of thinking, finding out the sex is just a practicality: you want to be able to buy baby clothes and decorate the nursery in a somewhat gender-specific way.

Things are going quite well for Blake Lively and her first pregnancy, and it turns out she and husband Ryan Reynolds are already talking about a second baby.
An insider told E! News that the ?Gossip Girl? hottie and her hunky ?Van Wilder? hubby want their kids to be close in age.
"Ryan and Blake are in full-on baby mode right now. They are so excited they are having a baby and are happy Blake's had a pretty easy pregnancy. It?s been so easy that she's saying she wants to get pregnant really soon after she pops this baby out!"
Furthermore, "Ryan is being such a sweet hubby, he's giving her foot and back rubs constantly! He jokes that she doesn't even have to ask anymore, he just automatically does it.?
"They both have talked a lot about raising the baby out of L.A. and giving their kids a normal childhood. Playing outside, having a puppy, catching lightning bugs? they want their kids to experience all of that."

Here are some photos from last night?s Angel Ball 2014 in NYC. The biggest stars of the red carpet? Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. This was their first red carpet as a couple since Blake announced her pregnancy. They wore his-and-hers Gucci for the evening ? Ryan wore a traditional Gucci tuxedo while Blake wore a Gucci Cruise gown, which I?m assuming was made just for her and her growing baby bump. I actually love the way Blake looks here ? the plunging neckline on her gown could have ended up really trashy (and there are some questionable angles, for sure), but overall? she just looks sexy to me. She looks happy and fertile and sexy. Ryan?s mom Tammy came with them too.
Also: over the weekend, Ryan was “joking” about the crazy names they could give their baby – go here to read. I think Blake and Ryan will probably go bland-to-hipster with the baby name. Like, Saffron Violette or Phinneus Asher. The name will be WASPy.

Here are some photos of Blake Lively out and about in NYC on Friday. She stopped by Giggle, which I guess is some sort of baby-accoutrement shop, and she signed up for their baby registry. Crap, we have to buy her baby stuff for her?! Damn it, Blake! She also checked out Boffi, a ?high end bath and kitchen design store,? according to Fame/Flynet. She tried out a new bathtub. As for her shopping outfit? well, it?s not my jam but whatever she wants. That coat is really loud and her skirt is really short. While on the red carpet on Thursday night, Blake already joked: ?I?m gonna amp up my style by wearing things that are stretchier.? Because she?s knocked up, get it? There?s also this funny (but probably not true) story about Blake?s cravings:
It seems those insatiable midnight cravings are getting the better of pregnant Blake Lively, who sends Ryan Reynolds out to get her PUMPKIN ice cream at midnight. The expectant actress has reportedly been keeping her hubby busy with endless requests for bizarre food.
They include hand-churned pumpkin-flavoured ice cream and pickles. Gross. A source told Heat magazine: “She sends Ryan out in the middle of the night for organic hand-churched pumpkin-flavoured ice cream and small-batch pickles. He barely has five hours’ sleep and even when he gets in bed, she asks for hour-long foot and neck massages.”

If I found a dude willing to give hour-long neck massages, I would lock that sh-t down so fast it would make your head spin. It could be the grossest guy in the world, the dong situation could be completely tragic, but if there were hour-long neck rubs involved, I would force him into a marriage of convenience/neck-rubs. As for the organic, hand-churned pumpkin ice cream and ?small batch pickles?? that sounds true but it probably isn?t. Who knows though? I could totally see Blake becoming one of those donut-shaming pregnant women. She seems like the type to side-eye anyone who would dare to eat Vlasic Pickles straight from the jar.
Meanwhile, CB sent me Blake?s latest word salad from Preserve. You can read it here and if you can explain what the hell Blake is talking about, God bless you. I think she?s trying to address the ?Allure of Antebellum? situation. I think she?s trying to say that she knows she?s not perfect and she?s doing the best she can and that Preserve is about all of us so if we criticize her for being ignorant, we?re really criticizing ourselves. You know what I think is really interesting? Every time Blake sits down and writes one of her stupid word salads, more people lose respect for her. She used to be widely admired for brilliantly playing the Hollywood game. Now we?re like ?Eh, she?s kind of dumb, right??

She?ll be a mother before too long, and Blake Lively, who is pregnant with her first child, wore a very special dress as she stepped out last night for the first time since announcing her bun in the oven.
During the God?s Love We Deliver, Golden Heart Awards in New York City, the ?Town? star wore a gorgeous ensemble by Michael Kors, and it turns out the iconic designer is a huge fan.
Kors told Us Weekly, ?You know what? When you have a woman as beautiful as Blake, I?m happy to see her in our clothes in any situation. Whether it?s the beach, [or she?s] pregnant, it all works!?
Furthermore, Michael declared, ?I?ve known her since she started on Gossip Girl. She?s warm, she?s sweet, she?s fun, and she?s a mean cook, so I think she?s going to be a really great mom. I?m very excited for [Lively and Ryan Reynolds]. I think they?re going to be great parents.?

Stepping out for the first time since announcing her pregnancy, Blake Lively showed up at the God?s Love We Deliver, Golden Heart Awards in New York City last night (October 16).
Joined by noted designer Michael Kors, the ?Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? star looked magnificent in a skin-tight Pink and purple floral gown as she happily posed for photographs.
Of her bun in the oven, Blake told Us Weekly, "It?s something that I?ve always wanted ever since I was a little girl. I never knew what I wanted to do for a living but I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I had come from a big family, so it was always important to me. So it?s just the excitement of that finally being here."
Lively also sang the praises of her uber-supportive husband Ryan Reynolds- "He?s always good to me. That?s like a jerky thing to say because you want to be able to complain about your husband and be that person, but he takes pretty good care of me."
