While many couples have been hosting parties to announce the sex of their baby-to-be,
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are content to keep it a mystery.
According to an Us Weekly source, the ?Van Wilder? hunk and his ?Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? lady said ?no thanks? to learning the gender of their bun in the oven.

Blake Lively stepped out on Tuesday wearing ?a $1,350 black and red Pendleton wool trench cloak with large bell sleeves by Lindsey Thornburg.? Go here to see the photos. Blake sells the coat on Preserve, obviously, because everything about Blake these days is a shill. But what I found really interesting about those photos is how exclusive they are ? Us Weekly, The Daily Mail and a small handful of other sites bought the photos, and NOT from a photo agency. It?s the weirdest thing. It?s like Blake pap?d herself but she got a friend to take the photos and she posed in the street, pretending not to see the camera. It?s like a next-level pap stroll where Blake controlled every part of the photo-op. She?s probably getting paid on both sides too ? she gets a cut of the exclusive sales of the photos, plus people are being directed to Preserve to buy the same coat.
As for Blake?s pregnancy, we?re at the point where tabloids are guessing about the sex of the baby. Us Weekly?s sources claim that Blake and Ryan don?t even want to know:
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are keeping an element of surprise in their relationship ? the expectant couple have decided to not find out the gender of their baby-to-be, a source tells Us Weekly.
“Blake and Ryan aren?t finding out what they?re having,” the insider tells Us. “They want to be surprised!”
While chatting with Us Weekly at an event on Oct. 16, Lively gushed that Reynolds, 38, couldn’t be a better husband to expect a baby with. “He?s always good to me,” Lively told Us. “That?s like a jerky thing to say because you want to be able to complain about your husband and be that person, but he takes pretty good care of me.”
And she’s taken care of herself while expecting as well, the insider adds. “She is [feeling] super relaxed and mellow,” the source said of the expecting star.

But! In Touch Weekly?s sources claim that Blake is definitely having a girl. A source says: ?She?s having a girl and is very excited about it. Friends have even started buying her little girl?s clothing.? Blake has been outspoken about wanting daughters in the past, but you know what? I?m probably wrong, but my gossip gut is saying she?s carrying a boy. I don?t know why I think that, it?s just a feeling. One thing I don?t believe is that Blake and Ryan don?t want to know the sex. To my way of thinking, finding out the sex is just a practicality: you want to be able to buy baby clothes and decorate the nursery in a somewhat gender-specific way.

Things are going quite well for Blake Lively and her first pregnancy, and it turns out she and husband Ryan Reynolds are already talking about a second baby.
An insider told E! News that the ?Gossip Girl? hottie and her hunky ?Van Wilder? hubby want their kids to be close in age.
"Ryan and Blake are in full-on baby mode right now. They are so excited they are having a baby and are happy Blake's had a pretty easy pregnancy. It?s been so easy that she's saying she wants to get pregnant really soon after she pops this baby out!"
Furthermore, "Ryan is being such a sweet hubby, he's giving her foot and back rubs constantly! He jokes that she doesn't even have to ask anymore, he just automatically does it.?
"They both have talked a lot about raising the baby out of L.A. and giving their kids a normal childhood. Playing outside, having a puppy, catching lightning bugs? they want their kids to experience all of that."

Here are some photos from last night?s Angel Ball 2014 in NYC. The biggest stars of the red carpet? Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. This was their first red carpet as a couple since Blake announced her pregnancy. They wore his-and-hers Gucci for the evening ? Ryan wore a traditional Gucci tuxedo while Blake wore a Gucci Cruise gown, which I?m assuming was made just for her and her growing baby bump. I actually love the way Blake looks here ? the plunging neckline on her gown could have ended up really trashy (and there are some questionable angles, for sure), but overall? she just looks sexy to me. She looks happy and fertile and sexy. Ryan?s mom Tammy came with them too.
Also: over the weekend, Ryan was “joking” about the crazy names they could give their baby – go here to read. I think Blake and Ryan will probably go bland-to-hipster with the baby name. Like, Saffron Violette or Phinneus Asher. The name will be WASPy.

Here are some photos of Blake Lively out and about in NYC on Friday. She stopped by Giggle, which I guess is some sort of baby-accoutrement shop, and she signed up for their baby registry. Crap, we have to buy her baby stuff for her?! Damn it, Blake! She also checked out Boffi, a ?high end bath and kitchen design store,? according to Fame/Flynet. She tried out a new bathtub. As for her shopping outfit? well, it?s not my jam but whatever she wants. That coat is really loud and her skirt is really short. While on the red carpet on Thursday night, Blake already joked: ?I?m gonna amp up my style by wearing things that are stretchier.? Because she?s knocked up, get it? There?s also this funny (but probably not true) story about Blake?s cravings:
It seems those insatiable midnight cravings are getting the better of pregnant Blake Lively, who sends Ryan Reynolds out to get her PUMPKIN ice cream at midnight. The expectant actress has reportedly been keeping her hubby busy with endless requests for bizarre food.
They include hand-churned pumpkin-flavoured ice cream and pickles. Gross. A source told Heat magazine: “She sends Ryan out in the middle of the night for organic hand-churched pumpkin-flavoured ice cream and small-batch pickles. He barely has five hours’ sleep and even when he gets in bed, she asks for hour-long foot and neck massages.”

If I found a dude willing to give hour-long neck massages, I would lock that sh-t down so fast it would make your head spin. It could be the grossest guy in the world, the dong situation could be completely tragic, but if there were hour-long neck rubs involved, I would force him into a marriage of convenience/neck-rubs. As for the organic, hand-churned pumpkin ice cream and ?small batch pickles?? that sounds true but it probably isn?t. Who knows though? I could totally see Blake becoming one of those donut-shaming pregnant women. She seems like the type to side-eye anyone who would dare to eat Vlasic Pickles straight from the jar.
Meanwhile, CB sent me Blake?s latest word salad from Preserve. You can read it here and if you can explain what the hell Blake is talking about, God bless you. I think she?s trying to address the ?Allure of Antebellum? situation. I think she?s trying to say that she knows she?s not perfect and she?s doing the best she can and that Preserve is about all of us so if we criticize her for being ignorant, we?re really criticizing ourselves. You know what I think is really interesting? Every time Blake sits down and writes one of her stupid word salads, more people lose respect for her. She used to be widely admired for brilliantly playing the Hollywood game. Now we?re like ?Eh, she?s kind of dumb, right??

She?ll be a mother before too long, and Blake Lively, who is pregnant with her first child, wore a very special dress as she stepped out last night for the first time since announcing her bun in the oven.
During the God?s Love We Deliver, Golden Heart Awards in New York City, the ?Town? star wore a gorgeous ensemble by Michael Kors, and it turns out the iconic designer is a huge fan.
Kors told Us Weekly, ?You know what? When you have a woman as beautiful as Blake, I?m happy to see her in our clothes in any situation. Whether it?s the beach, [or she?s] pregnant, it all works!?
Furthermore, Michael declared, ?I?ve known her since she started on Gossip Girl. She?s warm, she?s sweet, she?s fun, and she?s a mean cook, so I think she?s going to be a really great mom. I?m very excited for [Lively and Ryan Reynolds]. I think they?re going to be great parents.?

Stepping out for the first time since announcing her pregnancy, Blake Lively showed up at the God?s Love We Deliver, Golden Heart Awards in New York City last night (October 16).
Joined by noted designer Michael Kors, the ?Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? star looked magnificent in a skin-tight Pink and purple floral gown as she happily posed for photographs.
Of her bun in the oven, Blake told Us Weekly, "It?s something that I?ve always wanted ever since I was a little girl. I never knew what I wanted to do for a living but I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I had come from a big family, so it was always important to me. So it?s just the excitement of that finally being here."
Lively also sang the praises of her uber-supportive husband Ryan Reynolds- "He?s always good to me. That?s like a jerky thing to say because you want to be able to complain about your husband and be that person, but he takes pretty good care of me."

Blake Lively was really making us wait for red carpet photos of her baby bump, and here we go. Blake attended the Golden Heart Awards (for God’s Love We Deliver) in NYC last night. She posed her bump off! Ryan Reynolds was not there? or, should I say, there are no photos of him on the red carpet. Blake wore this full-length Michael Kors gown which? I sort of like, even though it looks like confetti-covered pantyhose. She looks feminine and pretty and happy. So, good for her.
At the event, Blake told Us Weekly that her pregnancy is a dream come true: “It?s something that I?ve always wanted ever since I was a little girl. I never knew what I wanted to do for a living but I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I had come from a big family, so it was always important to me. So it?s just the excitement of that finally being here.” She?s never known what she wanted to do for a living? Says the actress and Preserver. And baker. She also talked about Ryan a little, saying: “He?s always good to me. That?s like a jerky thing to say because you want to be able to complain about your husband and be that person, but he takes pretty good care of me.”
As for Preserve and Antebellum-gate, one good thing that?s happened is that more people are giving Preserve a more critical once-over. What had been seen as a silly but harmless side project is now being analyzed for content, plagiarism and just plain awful writing. Good. It?s about time. My suggestion to Blake: hire some real writers and some real website designers to make Preserve user-friendly. Plus, Blake’s purple prose needs to go.

They?re one of Hollywood?s most adorable married couples and now Blake Lively and Ryan Reynoldss are on the road to parenthood.
According to Lively?s website Preserve, she?s pregnant with her first child as she shared a photo of her own baby bump taken by her brother Eric Lively.
Blake?s Preserve Celebration of Family post highlighted ?that special moment at the creation of family,? and congratulated ?all the expecting mothers out there.?
Lively told the September 2014 issue of Marie Claire magazine, ?I gotta get started [having children]. If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would.?
Back in 2013, Reynolds explained, "We'd love to have a big family. We both come from big families -- my parents did four, Blake?s did five. A lot of people say it?s crazy, but we?ll only know when we?re there, you know? We?ll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think."

Blake Lively is knocked up! YAY. Blake announced the news on Preserve, her ?artisanal? and unique site, but she couldn?t just write ?I?m pregnant, y?all.? First she wrote a poem about family and then she posted a million photos of pregnant women and the last photo was this ^^ pic that I?m using as a header photo. Blake?s bump is sizeable ? easily second trimester, right? This is the crap about family on Preserve:
Preserve at its core is about family.
Family is the single word our founder, Blake built this home on.
We have something for men, for women, for the old, but we realized, we don?t have anything for the new.
With family on our mind, we looked to the origin of it all?to the women in our lives who are right there, at that special moment; at the creation of family.
Today we celebrate them. With food to fill their tummies (as if that needs more filling), presents to soothe their tired (and swollen) soles, toys to warm their baby?s souls, projects to provoke them, and decorations to inspire creativity and merriment in all.
We had too much fun with this. Because there?s so much to share, we break up our first ever Preserve Celebration into multiple parts. In the upcoming days we will bring even more treats and fun. The entire next month will be sprinkled with highlights for women in this exciting chapter of their lives.
Congratulations to all the expecting mothers out there.

This isn?t really shocking to me, as Blake has been talking about kids and wanting to get pregnant for a while. I was actually surprised that she didn?t get knocked up sooner, but there were rumors that she might have had some fertility issues. So, this will be Blake and Ryan?s first kid. I?m happy for them ? I think they both really wanted to be parents. Congrats!
