Here is Blake Lively showing off some sweet cleavage and her long legs on the set of Gossip Girl. I never watched the show but I wished they would showcase Blake?s talents a little better. These “Sex In The City” type outfits may be good for women hitting menopause but Blake is a free spirit.

A month ago, we saw the first print ad for Blake Lively?s latest campaign ? she?s the face of Gucci?s new perfume, Premiere. The ad (above) is nothing special. It?s not a particularly eye-catching shot, but it?s not horrible either. It should have been in color, and I dislike the way Blake is being sold as some kind of ?classic Hollywood blonde?. Also: photographing Blake in profile is always a strange endeavor considering some of us remember her old nose, and it?s jarring to see her nose job put front and center in an ad campaign. Anyway, as I said in the previous post, Gucci contracted Blake for a commercial as well as a print campaign. Blake ?demanded? Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn for the commercial, and she got him. And now that I see the commercial? Michael Bay could have directed this junk. Why did they need Refn? I?ll do the real-time, second-by-second analysis below:
*Blake is in a glass cage. She knows why the glassed-in bird suffocates.
*We get it, honey. You can model strut better than any of Leonardo?s other girls.
*God, her body really is crazy. That dress does look really awesome on her.
*CLOSE YOUR MOUTH.
*I?m meh on her hair. It seems kind of flat.
*For the love of God, CLOSE YOUR MOUTH. Open mouth does not equal ?sexy?. You look like a vapid mouth-breather.
*Oh, now she?s model-strutting in the desert. This is the part where I was like, ?Huh, why couldn?t Michael Bay do this again?? Because I actually think Bay might have done this better.
*We get it, darling. Gucci Premiere = spontaneous orgasm. That?s the message of the commercial: ?Wear Gucci Premiere and you will have an orgasm as you look out of your window and fantasize about model-strutting in the desert.?
*The last shot, where she?s facing and walking toward the camera? Unflattering! All of a sudden, her fabulous body looks really boxy, right?
*WORST VOICEOVER EVER. Good God, this mumbling Valley Girl should never be hired to do voice work. This is what it sounds like phonetically: ?Ghuh-chi-premer tha Nuessince forwomn.?
As a palate cleanser, here are some photos of Ed Westwick rocking a onesie, filming Gossip Girl yesterday. Ed Westwick is totally the highlight of this post. That sleazy furball could sell me perfume any day of the week! PS? I have no idea if the onesie is a costume or if that?s just how Ed shows up to work in the morning.

Over the Forth of July holiday, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were (surprise!) photographed together looking very cozy and affectionate and sun-kissed, like they were a J.Crew ad or something. We didn?t have access to those pics ? you can see them there. Some people have a theory that Blake arranges certain photo-ops with a particular paparazzo and/or exclusive photo agency ? all I know is that we rarely have access to these super-exclusive photos of Blake and Ryan being all kissy and lovey-dovey. Anyway, I brought up that photo set because some people looked at Blake in her retro one-piece swimsuit and thought ?Preggo.? The alternate theory, I suppose, is that Blake never works out and it?s starting to catch up to her thighs and hips a little bit (no disrespect ? she does seem to have put on a little weight, but she?s still got an incredible figure). Now Star Magazine has another theory ? Blake isn?t pregnant? YET. But she will be soon, and she?s already begun to put on weight in anticipation of the conception??
Blake Lively, 24, has told friends that she purposely put on 10 pounds so she could have a baby as soon as possible with her sexy squeeze, Ryan Reynolds, 35.
?She and Ryan are ready to go for it, even without a wedding,? an insider says. ?Ryan has been aching to start a family, so this is his dream come true.?
In fact, one of the reasons he and Scarlett Johansson got divorced was because she wasn?t at all interested in having children. Now he has a partner who?s on the same page.
?They told friends they want lots of children and are ready to get started,? the spy says. ?She?s even given up alcohol already.?
Their families are also on board ? ?Everyone sees a wedding and kids in their near future. Blake wants to be a mom by next year.?

When I gave up drinking, I began to lose weight, so I don?t know what?s going on with Blake and her ?I gave up alcohol and put on 10 pounds? thing. I think it?s more likely that Ryan and Blake spend their days eating and cooking and boning, and Blake has put on a few ?I?m in a good relationship? pounds. Blake is so retro ? would she get pregnant without the ring? Isn’t she too old-fashioned for that? Or would she use a pregnancy to get Ryan to give her a ring?

If I were to start a social media site, I’d make one like Yelp but I’d review breasts like Blake Lively’s during the filming ofGossip Girl. I’d describe them as pleasant to look at, not overly distracting and borderline perfect and I’d give it four stars. Then a year later, I’d become real snobby and these same breasts three stars because I’d have developed a much more sophisticated palette.

Here are some photos of Blake Lively filming Gossip Girl in NYC yesterday. She had two costume changes (that I see), and she seemed to be filming exterior scenes with Chace Crawford and then with her character?s possible love interest (?), played by Barry Watson (who I kind of love in general). I can?t even verbalize how much I love the blue dress. God, that?s so pretty. It would look like hell on me, but on Blake, it?s kind of perfect. I also love that when she wasn?t filming full-length shots, she switched out her high heels and put on flats. Atta girl.
Allegedly, Blake has a new interview in the British magazine More ? likely promoting Savages. Here are some highlights:
Blake on her insecurities: “I have insecurities like any girl. I used to be really shy and unconfident. I hated being tall. Walking the red carpet is so scary, so I pretend to be Marilyn Monroe – someone who owned their sexuality and projected this incredible aura of self-confidence.?
Style pressure: ?There’s a lot of pressure to constantly find the best designer outfits. As a teenager, my mum was constantly after me to dress better. She encouraged me to dress up and discover my own style. I love fashion and shopping though, just like any girl.”
She still claims she doesn?t exercise: “I don’t exercise, but I will start one day. I’m 24 now, so I guess I’ve been very, very lucky that it doesn’t show that I like to eat. I should probably start working out I guess!”
What she looks for in a man: “When I look for a partner there has to be a strong connection. He needs to be my best friend, whether he’s macho or sensitive – it doesn’t matter. He also has to make me laugh. I enjoy someone who’s a lot of fun to be with. He also needs to be kind, patient, caring and not take himself too seriously. And of course, he needs to appreciate my cooking! I’m very domestic.”
She thinks cooking is sexy: “I really like to cook. Cooking makes me feel sexy. I think there’s something so sensual about it – the smells, the touches, the flavours, the experience of creating something,” she explained. “And you know, when you’re doing it with someone you love, creating that together, I think it’s really attractive.”
She can?t wait to have babies: “I want to be a mom someday. I’m upset that my nieces and nephews aren’t my own children,” she sighed. “It’s something I can’t wait for and I’m so excited about.”

Blake is really putting herself out there has a domestic goddess/girly-girl/wife-material, right? All of this talk about food and babies and shopping? it feels like Blake has stepped out of the 1950s. That?s never really occurred to me before ? Blake IS very retro, isn?t she? She?s all about ?hooking the husband? and putting herself out there as ?marry-able?. My dad would have loved her ? he always told me that no one would marry me unless I learned how to cook. Like that was the biggest threat, I guess, that no one would marry me?

At the NYC screening of Savages, Blake Lively tells Us that she doesn’t even work out to maintain her kick-ass body. In fact, she just sits around eating cupcakes all day. Way to set the bar way too high, Blake.
“I eat cupcakes and I don’t work out!” Lively admitted, laughing. “But if you ask me in ten years, I’m going to regret answering that way now . . . I don’t even drink water. It’s terrible!”
Christina Aguilera must be so pissed right now.

I feel like I?ve heard a version of this story before, only it involved a different celebrity and a different dog. Where did I hear this? Maybe it was that story last year about Ryan Gosling bringing his puppy George to yoga class where George peed inside. Probably. Anyway, in this week?s animal-defecation news, Blake Lively?s little dog Penny is a BAD DOG!! Blake brought Penny (and Ryan Reynolds? puppy Baxter) to a magazine photo shoot and Penny had an ?accident?. The bad news? Penny came close to mistaking a thousand-dollar Versace dress for a pee pad. The good news? Penny has bad aim.
Blake Lively nearly triggered a big stink by showing up to model for a splashy-glam magazine cover shoot toting cuddle-stud Ryan Reynolds? dog, Baxter, and her own pet pooch Penny, but Momma?s adorable dog suddenly moved its bowels thisclose to a rack of floor-length, multi-thousand-dollar Versace gowns ? dumping a poop pile barely an inch from the high-end duds.
?Blake was sooo embarrassed,? said a source. ?She kept apologizing profusely about the mishap and thanking staffers who were cleaning up the mess.?

I?m including photos of Penny just to emphasize how small this little dog is. I mean, isn?t ?a pile of poop? a little bit dramatic? I bet Penny?s poop resembles rabbit pellets. Anyway, yeah ? this was embarrassing. For Blake and for Penny. Baxter must have been like, ?Haha, now Penny has to stay home during mom?s photo shoots and I still get to come with her because I?m a good dog!? And lest you think I?m being overly dramatic with my anthropomorphism, dogs totally think like this. I remember my old dog, Ollie, would get super-happy when one the cats did something bad. You?d be yelling at the cat and Ollie would get so much pleasure out of it. Baxter totally thinks this way. Penny is going to have to stay home from now on, and Baxter gets to be top dog with his main bitch Blake.

Finally! Blake Lively is wearing Gucci! I was wondering why she didn?t go for Gucci at the LA premiere of Savages, considering it was just announced last week that Blake has been made the new face of a new Gucci perfume. And here she is, representing her contract, at last night?s NYC premiere of Savages. She chose well, I think. I like this dress ? this shade of yellow seems like the kind of color only a blonde can really pull off. The cut is lovely, Blake isn?t falling out, she looks summery and pretty. I basically have no major complaints here. The bracelets are excessive, but that?s a minor thing. I even kind of like Blake?s giant braided ponytail. It?s eye-catching and unique.
As for the rest of the premiere-goers? no Salma Hayek. No Benicio del Toro. No Aaron Johnson. Just Blake and Olivier Stone (not pictured, because I doubt anyone cares), plus Taylor Kitsch (he looks like he?s gaining weight, right?) and John Travolta. JT is wearing the same busted toupee he wore for the LA premiere. But this time he didn?t have his wife attached to him. I guess JT wanted to have some solo ?boy time? in New York. Maybe New York has really world-renowned masseurs. Cough.
