There’s an article about some fashion photographer in next month’s Marie Claire Australia that included the above shot she took of Heidi Klum in the buff, but I forget the chick’s name and I didn’t actually bother to read any of the article because, as I mentioned, Heidi Klum was naked. Words just get in the way. It’s probably why you’re clicking on the thumbnails for nipslips instead of reading any of the words I’ve written right now.

Spending the day being a mom, Heidi Klum was spotted taking her daughter to ballet class in Los Angeles on Saturday (March 10).
Wearing a long black dress with sunglasses and an armful of bangles, the "Project Runway" star walked her seven-year-old daughter, Leni Samuel, to her ballet class.
The recently divorced 38-year-old is featured on a second cover of the April 2012 issue of ELLE, alongside the fronted edition of a nude and pregnant Jessica Simpson.
Inside the magazine, Heidi speaks about her reluctance to talk to the press about her split with Seal, as she dished, ?I don?t want to talk positively or negatively about the ups and downs that we had. Every couple goes through things. Unfortunately, we?re in the public, so the highs are out there. But I don?t think it?s necessary?especially for our children?to have the lows being printed in magazines and talked about.?

Heidi Klum appears in the April issue of Elle (the one where pregnant Jessica Simpson officially takes the cover). Heidi’s been largely silent since she and Seal, her husband of seven years, split in late-January, and I presume that she has finally started talking to the media only because she has to promote the upcoming season of “Project Runway.” It’s gotta be tough to know that everyone wants to ask questions about the very subject that hurts the most.
In the aftermath of the separation, we’ve heard many theories about the deterioration of Seal and Heidi’s marriage. The overriding theory seems to be that Seal’s alleged violent temper played a large role. His ex even came forward (after over a decade of silence) to semi-confirm the theory, and we also heard that (at least on one occasion), Seal pushed Heidi and had to be physically restrained by security. Of course, none of this may be true at all, but Seal’s incredibly passive, charming way of discussing his wonderful wife during an “Ellen” appearance” seems suspicious. Anyway, we’ve heard from Seal, and now we’re finally hearing from Heidi:
What she’s going through: “I feel like I’m in the eye of the tornado. It’s emotions inside of your body that are a tornado. And then the outside world doing all this craziness — with you wanting it or not wanting it — is another tornado. But as hard as it is, so is life. And sometimes I think a curveball just comes at you. Instead of something straight that you catch, it hits you in the head from the side that you didn’t expect.”
Why the split shocked the public: “To the outside world, you don’t really share all the things that happen. You kind of share just the most amazing sides. But I don’t really want to get into any of that stuff. With my life, my family, my business — I want to go forward. I feel like already there are so many things being said about us — about him, about me. I’m not going to comment. Otherwise it makes you angry. You can’t always call and say, ‘This is not true, but this part is true.’”
Did it bother her that Seal spoke out? “He’s a grown man. I can’t tell him what to do and what not to do. It’s hard.”
Sorry, she’s not spilling: “People don’t need to know who did what. I don’t want to talk positively or negatively about the ups and downs that we had. Every couple goes through things. Unfortunately, we’re in the public, so the highs are out there. I’m a lioness. I have four cubs. I’m a mom. I want to take care of my kids and protect them. I don’t want to talk about them, or him, or me.”

Heidi obviously doesn’t want to talk at all about the split, but one can’t really blame her for wanting to stay as silent as possible. In fact, she probably wouldn’t have said anything at all if promoting “Project Runway” wasn’t a factor. It’s rather obvious that she didn’t appreciate Seal speaking out about their marriage too; and about a week ago, he spoke briefly with with People about his reason for doing so:
“When you publicize your marriage as much as our marriage was publicized, when you renew wedding vows, when you do all those things, what you are saying to people is … you’re giving people a picture of an ideal relationship that people aspire to. When it goes south, you can’t all of a sudden take the philosophy of a monk and decide to go for a vow of silence. It doesn?t really work like that. I respect my wife’s decision not to talk about that, but I felt that people at least deserved some kind of explanation why the picture of the ideal wasn’t what they thought it was.”

What Seal says here makes sense if you take his statements at face value, but I still believe that he was trying to charm Heidi into taking him back when he spoke publicly about her. Seal also had a new album to promote as well. Then again, Heidi now has a show to promote, but at least she’s keeping her comments to the bare minimum.
As of mid February, Seal has since taken off his wedding ring and drawn attention to that fact by wearing bright yellow nail polish. People also has confirmed that Heidi and Seal have no plans to reconcile.

I like the new trend of canary as a “pop” of color, when used sparingly as an accessory. I even bought a canary purse this season, but then I returned it because it wasn’t what I expected. (I thought the color was cool, but it wasn’t a big enough purse inside.) But canary rarely works as a full solid-color look. Case in point are Heidi Klum and Kelly Osbourne, both trying to work this ugly yellow color.
Look at Heidi Klum in this super short terry cloth-looking scifi Atelier Versace. She wore this to the Elton John foundation Oscar viewing party. When you’ve got a body like this, why would you dress like an alien that William Shatner would have seduced for a one-off episode of Star Trek circa 1969? Just because you can? Every day is Halloween for this woman. Including her makeup. Metallic shadow with black liner and clumpy mascara. You can do so much better Heidi!
I actually like Kelly Osbourne’s light yellow party dress – on someone else. Paired with her pinkish gray hair and mawkish red lipsit just looks ridiculous on her. This dress is world’s better than that awful mess of a Bagdley Mischa she had on for her red carpet coverage. (Actually on second look the whole of the dress is quite stunning. I was probably just distracted by her puff of hair.) It was comical hearing fashion commentary coming from someone in such a hideous dress with such bad hair, but she was pretty nice to the celebrities overall and liked a lot of the fashion that I found questionable. So at least she’s consistent.
Look at this flowy lemon colored dress again on Kelly. It’s so pretty from the neck down and yet she makes it look trashy, doesn’t she?
Her hair looks way better there than it did on the red carpet. It was puffy and sideswept and the color was Pink gray with brown roots peeking through. An awful combination.

Hitting the party circuit rather than the show itself, Heidi Klum was on hand for the 20th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation's Oscar viewing part in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (February 26).
Held at the The City, the "Project Runway" babe looked stunning in a bright yellow dress as she posed in the arrivals area before joining the many celebs in attendance.
The appearance comes as Miss Klum is getting back in the swing of public appearances without her now ex-hubby, Seal.
Rumor has it, the parties host, Elton John, has said that he's making it his mission to find a new man for Heidi - whether she's looking or not.

Earlier this week, several outlets including People reported that Seal had stopped wearing his wedding ring (and drew attention to that fact with chartreuse nail polish) while Heidi Klum still wore hers. At the time, Kaiser, CB, and myself decided that the story wasn’t worth covering by itself, but I’d like to now reflect briefly upon Seal’s eloquent speech on Ellen (made in late January) in response to why he was then still wearing his ring as “[A] token of how I feel about this woman. We have eight years. Eight wonderful years together … [R]ight now it feels really comfortable on my hand, so I have no intentions of taking it off anytime soon.” Just a few weeks later, Seal has apparently changed his tune, and I have to wonder whether it’s because he’s figured out that Heidi isn’t buying his public act of gentle, passive demeanor.
It’s rather hard to believe that it’s still been less than a month since the divorce rumors hit and Heidi and Seal announced their separation. Then we very quickly heard competing theories about the reason for the split, and much of the attention focused upon a Seal’s alleged emotional volatility. His ex-girlfriend, Tatjana Patitz, stepped up with a story about Seal’s violent temper during their late 1990s relationship, and we heard about how Seal had to be physically restrained by security after he pushed Heidi during a mid-January fight that took place right before the split. So the perception has been, rightfully or not, that Heidi and Seal’s marriage failed largely because of his anger issues.
This week’s issue of Star shifts the focus somewhat to Seal’s so-called “double life” and Heidi’s frustration therein. The tabloid refers to details from their prior story (which didn’t get much play at the time) that Heidi was shocked to discover Seal’s “hidden” criminal past from the 1980s when he was arrested for selling pot and “promoting prostitution by placing hookers’ numbers in public phone booths.” Star also adds details to existing accounts of Seal’s temper by claiming that (on at least one occasion) Seal’s temper caused his children to burst into tears. Now Heidi has reportedly decided to take their four children and move far away from Seal’s preferred homebase in Los Angeles:
Heidi Klum isn’t about to play nice when the wellbeing of her kids is at stake. Although the “Project Runway” host and her estranged spouse, Seal, had seemed to remain on amicable terms for the sake of their four kids, they are now gearing up for a fierce custody battle in the wake of shocking revelations about the “Kiss from a Rose” singer’s criminal past, Star has learned.
“The original agreement was that Heidi would have primary custody and Seal could visit at any time,” a source explains. “But since the breakup was announced, Heidi has been looking to pack up their home in Brentwood and go back to New York.”
There are good reasons Heidi wants to distance herself and her children from Seal, 49, who plans to keep L.A. as his permanent base, says the source. “She believes his lifestyle and criminal issues don’t provide a ‘conductive environment’ for their kids” — Henry, 6, Johan, 5, Lou, 2, and Leni, 7, Heidi’s daughter from a previous relationship, whom Seal adopted in 2009. His temper often raged out of control, as Star has reported, and “Seal pushed Heidi,” says the source. She was also rattled when, in 2010, Seal exploded at a staffer in front of the kids, the source adds, causing them to flee in tears.
And she’s been left reeling after learning about Seal’s sordid past. As Star recently revealed, he had multiple run-ins with the law before he met Heidi, including busts for drug trafficking and promoting prostitution, though he was not jailed. “Heidi had no idea,” says the source.
But now, she’ll do whatever it takes to ensure that their kids have a stable home. “She’s dumbfounded that Seal led a double life,” says the source. “Things are going to get nasty between them.”

As always, this is tricky material to analyze, and it’s particularly difficult in this case because there really are no public records on the internet about Seal’s prior troubles with the law that occurred — literally — decades ago. Obviously, that part of his life has been over for quite some time, and I’m not certain whether such distant offenses could be considered as leading a “double life.” Of course, Heidi has the right to feel blindsided if she never had the information beforehand, but it’s not like Seal has persisted within a chronic string of legal troubles all along.
Now the temper issues are worth getting worked up about and possibly even moving across the country when it comes to protecting Heidi and Seal’s children. Perhaps such a tactic will motivate Seal to sign up for anger management therapy, which would definitely be a good thing no matter how one spins it.

She certainly has her hands full as a newly-single mother of four, but Heidi Klum is doing her best to manage her parental duties during the life transition period.
The "Project Runway" beauty, who recently split from now ex-husband Seal, was spotted taking her brood out for a bite to eat in Brentwood, CA on Saturday afternoon (February 4).
After chowing down on a tasty Italian lunch at Divino Restaurant, Miss Klum held her eldest child Leni's hand upon exiting the eatery as two nanny helpers followed along with Henry, Johan and Lou Samuel.
And while she was still wearing her wedding ring during the weekend outing, insiders tell that Heidi and Seal "have zero plans to get back together."
One source went as far as revealing Us Weekly that the 38-year-old German model is "pissed off" at her ex over his "on-air soul-searching" during post-breakup appearances on a full slate of programs including "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "Piers Morgan" and "Access Hollywood".

Her soon-to-be-ex-husband Seal has been very vocal about their divorce, and now Heidi Klum is sharing her gratitude for her fans? support.
The ?Project Runway? babe took to her Twitter page to share a very special message with her followers today.
Heidi tweeted, "Hi everyone, I want to thank u for all your support & kind words. [It] really means so much. Thanks again...to the best fans in the world! xoHeidi"
In an earlier joint statement, Klum and Seal shared, "We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart."

She's going through a difficult time after splitting with husband Seal earlier this month, but before her personal struggles, Heidi Klum took time to put together a cover issue for the March 2012 installment of InStyle UK.
The 38-year-old "Project Runway" star tossed on a sexy Roberto Cavalli silk and lace dress for the Rankin shot front page while featured in a stylish spread and interviewing about family life, fashion and future goals.

On her InStyle photoshoot experience:
"I loved this shoot. It's totally my thing; sophisticated but hip. I'm not afraid of shapes, colors, prints. I'm not worried about fitting in. And what jumped out of my wardrobe at home is the same: the Gallianos, McQueens. I like designers who think outside the box."
On being a jewelry lover over clotheshorse:
"I think it comes from having been a model for so long. Back then, I got to wear everything, but I had to hand it back at the end of the day. Perhaps I trained myself not to want everything. Today, if someone likes something in my wardrobe, they can have it! I do not feel the same way about jewelry, though. I'm such a magpie. I see jewels and have to have them. And they don't need to be expensive; I get things from flea markets, from my travels. Plus I always wear this [she points to the huge yellow diamond on her ring finger]. I get sentimentally attached to accessories in a way I just don't with clothes."
On her diet (or lackthereof):
"I'm always cold. I have low blood pressure and get the spins when I stand up ? so believe me, I eat. A lot. I have to. Right now, I'm going through a phase of eating badly, because Seal has been away. When he's here, we egg each other on. He works out, he eats better than me, he's really fit ? so I have to keep up with them. When he's gone, I develop a popcorn problem."
On being constantly surrounded by bodyguards:
"That's something my husband insists upon; especially when he's away. He says: 'If I can't be there to protect you, I have to have another man who can'. But I do believe if you want to live where the action is, where life moves fast ? you have to accept that that's the way it is. You are a dear in headlights. Sure, I'd rather live in Idaho, but I can't drive to the studio from there. Seal and I do have a bottom-line and it's to protect the kids. Our bodyguards are with them today, for example, because we're both working. We don't want the children to be part of this madness. It's bad enough when he and I go anywhere. I don't want to push or put any of this on them. They'll find their own way."
On working hard to have something to pass on to her children:
"I want to make a brand that can stand alone without me, that I can give to my kids. Every parent wants to pass something along. You worry. Are they going to find the right job? The right person to love, to make them happy? Are they going to get into trouble; drugs, drunk driving? I want to help them ? I think about that more and more as I get older. I'm not worried about wrinkles, I just want to give my children a good foundation."
