It’s officially Halloween today, and I’m sure most of you are so hungover right now that you can actually see the outline of your liver through your shirt. Me too. Even typing hurts this morning. Every keystroke might as well be an army of steel-beaked woodpeckers to the side of my skull. It’s awful. In fact, the only thing worse than typing this hungover is probably reading it hungover. I’ll just make it easier for both of us and stop now.

I’m so excited for Halloween this year, because it’s the first year I’m back in America after six years away. They do Halloween in Germany, but it’s a relatively new holiday for them, there’s not much trick or treating and it doesn’t feel the same at all. So it’s surprising to me that Heidi Klum is such a Halloween aficionado since she’s German. Heidi goes all out every year for her annual Halloween party. Last year she was a transformer alien creator, complete with huge lifts that made her tower over her husband Seal. The year before that she and Seal were matching crows with elaborately feathered outfits, and in 2008 she was a Hindu goddess. This year Heidi was one of those skin-removed bodies exhibits, and she was simultaneously sexy in her tight muscle-revealing suit and scary at the same time. Seal wasn’t with her from what I can see in the photos at our agencies. He’s currently on tour and was playing in Belgium that night. She’s having another party on Monday in NY, and Seal might be there. I wonder how she’ll dress up for that one.
Heidi Klum, known for her elaborate Halloween costumes, got an early start on the holiday, arriving Saturday at Tao Las Vegas in dramatic fashion: on gurney covered with a white bed sheet.
As the sheet lifted, Klum’s body appeared, showing off every muscle as if her skin was ripped off.
“This is my 13th Halloween party,” she later said. “This year I wanted to be a dead person.”
The Bodies: The Exhibition-style costume that rendered the supermodel unrecognizable was compromised of a painted body suit and the makeup on her face took three-and-a-half hours.
“In our house it’s Halloween all year round,” says Klum, who’s married to singer Seal with four children. “It’s not as scary but (my kids) love dressing up. Look at their mom. She’s always dressing up. It runs in the family.”
The party on Saturday was the first of two that Klum is hosting for Halloween. Her second party will be Monday at PHD inside The Dream in New York City.

This was so impressive. There weren’t a lot of other celebrities there. In the red carpet photos there’s only a non-dressed up Gilles Marini, Bethenny Frankel as a harajuku/Hello Kitty girl, and DJ Questlove in some t-shirt excuse for a costume. Everyone was probably in LA this weekend instead of Vegas, where the party was held. Hopefully she’ll get a better turnout for the NY party. It doesn’t matter, though, when Heidi shows up for Halloween she steals the show.
Look at the makeup detail on her scalp. Someone even painted veins on there. I love how she paired stripper heels with that costume.

Heidi Klum hosted her annual Halloween party at Tao in Vegas over the weekend and for the umpteenth time in a row, outdid everyone with her Halloween costume. This year, she came as one of the pieces at the Body exhibit even going so far as to be wheeled out on a bloody gurney. Not only that, but she kept if fashionable, slapping on a pair of 6 inch heels for good measure.
If this is how into Halloween Heidi is, just imagine what the trick-or-treaters get when they go to her place. She probably assembled a team of scientists to develop a candy that brings people to orgasm.

Here’s Heidi Klum in a black and green Versace black a-line dress accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz bangle bracelets. I swear I saw these photos and thought that her shoes were too plain before I read this article on a blog Kaiser and I use to identify the designers, which basically says the same thing. She’s going for fashion-forward but her shoes are too conservative. Still, Heidi looks incredibly hot here. That dress is striking and looks great without being too clingy or short. I love her hair and makeup too. Remember when she used to have that terrible mom hair last year? She finally grew that out, thank goodness.
Heidi is shown in these photos at the TeenNick HALO Awards last night, and I was about to make fun of Nickelodeon for having yet another awards show, but these are actually for a good cause. They honor kids who make a difference in volunteerism and community service.
Heidi and her husband Seal are of course known for their awesome celebrity Halloween parties. They’ve worn some incredibly creative costumes in the past and this year will be no different. Heidi gave People a sneak peek at her costume and it’s going to involve a bodysuit that shows all the human musculature. This reminds me of that dude that was on PBS kids when I was growing up. (What was his name…Slim Goodbody, yay! I love the Internet.) Heidi told People that she loves to make her costumes unique. This one will involve some crazy face paint for sure.
?It?s kind of like a dead body with the first layer of skin ripped off,? she tells PEOPLE of her costume. ?It?s basically like me naked.? In fact, every vein and muscle was painted on to replicate her own body structure. ?All my veins and blood will all be visible,? she says with a laugh. ?You don?t feel quite naked with it because it is so colorful.? As for her husband Seal, she says, ?He liked it!?
Klum, this year?s UNICEF Trick-or-Treat Ambassador, admits that Halloween is her favorite holiday, and it shows: in the past several years, the party hostess has dressed up as an apple from the Garden of Eden, Lady Godiva and, in 2010, a larger-than-life superhero. So she suggests going all out when creating your own disguise.
?The amazing thing about creating your own costume,? she explains, ?is that you can be sure no one else has the same.? Some of her favorites? ?One guy came as a mattress one year,? she says of a past party. ?It was annoying but it was an awesome costume.?
But beware: creativity is key for getting into a Klum-hosted Halloween bash. ?I always put on my invitation, ?Costume required,? because if you?re not dressing up, you?re not getting in,? she warns.
One year, she recalls, Prince Andrew showed up ? but she thought it was someone dressed as the royal. ?I said to him, ?Who are you coming as, Prince Andrew??? recalls Klum. ?He wasn?t dressed up at all and I was like, ?How did they let you in??? At first he looked a bit perplexed until she realized he was the real thing. Then, she says, ?I had bright red lips so I smooched his face and he had kisses all over.?

See she didn’t turn a non-costumed Prince Andrew away! I wonder if a regular non-celebrity with an incredibly awesome disguise could ever get into Heidi and Seal’s bash. I bet they could.

Looking to be in a bit of a rush, Heidi Klum made a swift exit after landing at LAX airport in Los Angeles, California this afternoon (October 5).
Always at the forefront of the fashion world, the "Project Runway" stunner showed off the darker side of her style, pairing a black, off-the-shoulder sweater with satin skirt and leather boots for her midweek travel.
Just last night, Heidi made her second appearance on QVC, where she unveiled the latest additions to her WILDLIFE jewelry line.
Hoping to enable women to let their daring style shine, Klum told, "I am not here to blend in. I love jewelry that makes a statement. I wanted to create a collection for QVC that would inspire women to stand out and find their wild side!"

They?ve never been the couple that takes themselves too seriously, and Heidi Klum and Seal found their inner-child during a visit to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA on Thursday (September 29).
The ?Project Runway? babe and her singer hubby posed for a few goofy pictures as they celebrated the kickoff of Halloween Time at the famous fun-filled resort.
Just before heading to the amusement park, Heidi paid a visit to the ?Ellen DeGeneres Show,? where she promoted her fragrance and participated in one of Ellen?s funny games.
Of her visit, Klum tweeted, ?Went to visit @TheEllenShow today! Shared my new fragrance, Shine, and dressed up a bit!?

Adding to her already impressive array of products, Heidi Klum unveiled her new fragrance Shine in West Hollywood yesterday (September 28).
The ?Project Runway? starlet was all smiles as she hammed it up at the Mondrian Los Angeles to plug her signature scent.
Heidi explained that she put a lot of time and effort into creating Shine. ?I worked with this amazing French nose who came from Paris many times to me in Los Angeles and New York when I was working there. Basically we would just talk about all the things that I love in smells and different roots that I like. He comes over and has all the little sniffing strips. They all have numbers so we don?t mess anything up. You sniff, and sniff, and sniff, all day long.?
?I wanted something that is super feminine, that is very light. My husband definitely got an input in it because I do want to smell good for my husband. He doesn?t like it when I smell too strong. He still wants to smell me with a little bit of perfume.?

Doing some mother/daughter bonding, Heidi Klum and her adorable little toddler Lou Samuel were spotted out and about in Brentwood, California today (September 21).
The "Project Runway" stunner and her too-cute tot kept it casual for their midweek adventure, with both gals pairing a loose-fitting top with black pants as they paraded around the posh Cali town.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Heidi has nabbed the number one spot on this year's list of Most Dangerous Celebrities to search on the web - which is a compiling of Hollywood's elite whose names can infect a fan's computer with viruses and other malicious content.
