Taking advantage of a gorgeous holiday weekend, Lauren Conrad stepped out with boyfriend Kyle Howard in Malibu, California on Monday (May 30).
The former "Hills" hottie looked cute in a white and back tie-dye dress as she joined her man for a bite to eat at Marmalade Cafe.
Meanwhile, LC is gearing up to promote her latest literary offerings - the Lauren Conrad Style book and her third novel Sugar and Spice - both of which will hit store shelves on October 5, 2010.
Of the Style Book idea, Lauren said: "The first book tour I went on, I had the opportunity to meet thousands and thousands of fans. The majority of the questions were about fashion. It was fun to share all the things I had learned."

Stepping out for morning promotional duties, Lauren Conrad turned up at the Hershey Times Square Store in New York City on Monday (April 19).
Looking simply stunning, the former "Hills" hottie happened to be on-hand signing a petition to declare "I Love Reese's Day".
Meanwhile, fans are eagerly wondering whether or not LC will make an appearance on the final season of the MTV show "The Hills" - which premieres on April 27th.
Looking to be a longshot, Teen Vogue editor Lisa Love, who managed LC and Whitney Port, recently told press she would love for it to happen but isn't betting on it, saying, "The show gave her a great run. She should definitely come back for the series finale."

?The Hills? creator Adam DiVello is being accused of sexual harassment by Heidi Montag, and Lauren Conrad is calling foul.
The ?Sweet Little Lies? author told press she can?t believe what Montag is saying and is certain she?s way off base.
"Similar to most of my fellow MTV cast mates, I am in utter shock at the allegations made against Adam DiVello. Not only are they completely absurd, but they are 100 percent without merit. Adam is a true professional and a wonderful person to work for."
An MTV rep added, "We have looked into this matter and the allegations made against Adam DiVello are completely false and without merit. Adam not only created The Hills and The City, launching the careers of several cast members, but has worked diligently to maintain a respectful and appropriate production environment."

She?s definitely one of the hottest authors out there, and Lauren Conrad says she?s not going to let a little cellulite get her down.
The ?Sweet Little Lies? writer told press, "About a year ago, I looked down and thought, 'I have cellulite. Where did that come from?'?
Lauren tried to have treatments to eliminate her unsightly areas, but her body ?was like, ?It?s not going anywhere.??
As far as her public persona, LC says she?s not a fan of getting looks everywhere she goes. "I get very uncomfortable with people watching me. And I know that sounds silly because of the show, but we were filming with people that we'd known for years, and it was a job."

She?s been working overtime to promote her new book ?Sweet Little Lies,? and last night (March 30) Lauren Conrad was spotted returning to Los Angeles.
The ?Hills? babe looked a bit tuckered out as she made her exit from LAX International Airport, sporting a big black coat and grey scarf.
Lauren?s return to SoCal comes after a long weekend filled with multiple promotional gigs on the East Coast.
Conrad paid a visit to her fans in Washington DC, as well as Fairfax, Virginia, and Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania.

Plugging away at her east coast book tour, Lauren Conrad was spotted out at Barnes & Noble in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania on Sunday (March 28).
The former "Hills" hottie greeted patiently waiting fans and signed copies of "Sweet Little Lies" as she continues to find success with her writing endeavors.
Having made the trip out east on Saturday morning, Miss Conrad spent the previous evening hitting up a local bookstore in Fairfax, Virginia.
Also working on a line of clothing with Kohl's, Miss Conrad told of the effort, "It's very much a California brand. It's all about incorporating new trends and putting our own twist on it ? relaxed cool without trying too hard,"
She adds, "I have a few [favorite pieces]. I do a lot of basics, so we have a great blazer, a high-waisted black skirt and biker jacket and all those pieces can be traded throughout ... it's a lot of layering, a lot of switching-up, so you can get more mileage."

Making a cross-country trip for promotional purposes, Lauren Conrad was spotted landing at Dulles Airport in Washington DC on Saturday (March 27).
In the nation's capital for a book meet-and-greet, the former "Hills" hottie deboarded the plane with her face covered - explaining to photogs that she "didn't want her picture taken until she went through hair and makeup for the book signing."
Cheering up Miss Conrad was an awaiting fan, as a young gentleman caught the 24-year-old's attention as he handed her a bouquet of yellow flowers inside the terminal.
LC looked a bit surprised, but proceeded to take a photo with her admirer as she proudly held onto the floral gift while being escorted out to an awaiting car.
