Enjoying a leisurely afternoon together, Lauren Conrad and Kyle Howard were spotted out at the Malibu Market yesterday (October 24).
The ?LA Candy? bestselling author and her handsome boyfriend looked cool and casual as they carried their purchases out to their car.
In career news, Lauren is releasing yet another collection of apparel under the moniker Paper Crown, and it?s snazzy.
She explained, "My new line, Paper Crown, will really cater more to the special occasion dress. I love designing everyday clothes for Kohl's, but sometimes it is fun to have that special dress or splurge every once in a while."

The Reality TV star/designer/author signed copies of her books ?Sugar and Spice? and ?Lauren Conrad Style? at the Best Buy Rotunda inside the Bloomington, Minnesota locale.
Miss Conrad has experienced an overwhelming response to her literary efforts ever since leaving ?The Hills.?
Her books ?LA Candy? and ?Sweet Little Lies? both posted fantastic sales figures making her a New York Times bestselling author.

Ready to return to life in front of the cameras, Lauren Conrad is only a week away from the commencement of her new reality TV show.
Talking to Us magazine at a recent Operation Smile event, the former "Hills" star said, "Right now it's like music samples and picking lights. We start in about a week."
Miss Conrad, who was spotted out yesterday dropping by E! Studios, continued, "I'm excited. It's smaller this time, which is really great and most of the people I'm working with are most of my favorite people."
Describing what fans and newcomers can expect, LC explained, "It's going to focus on a clothing line I'm doing with two of my best friends, but it's also going to show all the other things that I do as well as the lifestyle. This [show] is the other side. While we were filming, there was so much of our lives that we weren't allowed to show, and this is basically the rest."

Taking a break from her book promotional tour to make a TV appearance, Lauren Conrad was spotted out at E! studios in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday afternoon (October 13).
The former "Hills" star showed up in a business appropriate grey dress ahead of her appearance on "Chelsea Lately" before later leaving in a playful floral dress and black Chanel handbag.
Aside from promoting her new books, Sugar and Spice and the Lauren Conrad Style Guide, LC is also prepping for her return to the small screen in a new docu-reality show for MTV.
Of the effort, Miss Conrad recently told Teen Vogue, "One of the inspirations for this show is The September Issue. It's going to be filmed more like a documentary. The Hills was shot with three or four cameras; things like entrances and exits were re-shot; and if there were sound issues, we were asked to repeat what we just said. This show is going to have a smaller crew, and they'll just be following us around. It's going to have a rougher feel, but I think the end result is going to be more true."
"The focus will be on really great fits, fabrics, and details. It won't be overly trendy - nothing that's trying too hard," she adds. "I'm very excited about it, but I'm also a little nervous. I'm doing it all on my own this time."

You know I barely care about Lauren Conrad, right? To me, she?s the even more worthless version of Kate Middleton. I only say that because Kate and LC look so much alike, not because LC and Kate have so much in common otherwise. Anyhoodle, it?s not that LC offends me - she?s the milquetoast of the current crop of reality show freaks. She seems to put her head down and actually try to do something other then ?get drunk? and ?hook up.? So I was actually pleasantly surprised to see this photo shoot with Teen Vogue - even though LC isn?t the best role model for young women, she?s totally not the worst either, and the photo shoot is very wholesome and nice. It?s just? the Photoshop on her face is ridiculous. She?s a young, pretty girl. You didn?t have to ?Shop her to look like an alien. It?s particularly noticeable to me on the cover shot, and the photo where she?s holding the dog. That?s not what her face looks like AT ALL. LC on her new show: The opening scene of Lauren Conrad’s yet-to-be-titled new documentary-style reality show will feature hundreds, if not thousands, of screaming fans gathered at one of her book signings. It’s a far cry from the blind eye producers of The Hills turned to its leading lady’s megastardom. “For the first time, they’re going to actually acknowledge the fame that comes along with the show,” Lauren says. And that’s not the only thing that’s different this time around. “It’s not going to revolve around my personal life,” she says adamantly. In other words, her boyfriend, Kyle Howard, will not be making any cameos, and her office?not her apartment?will be the home base. “Filming the last two shows, I never had the opportunity to show everything I was working for,” she says. “This time the focus is going to be on my job, and while that’s still personal to me, I will also have a part of my life that can be mine.”
On her giant sunglasses: “I still wear giant ones even though glasses are shrinking,” she professes, “because I have a jack-in-the-box face. It’s like when people would carry huge bags because they were convinced they made them look thinner.”
On her clothing lines: Skeptics will argue that Lauren doesn’t have to overcome the typical hurdles a young designer faces (i.e., visibility, cash flow, connections), to which she admits, “I would agree.” But, she notes, “I would also say that I’ve sacrificed and worked very hard to get where I am now. So whereas someone just getting out of fashion school may have to struggle for years to have the opportunity to start a clothing line, I’ve been working every single day since I was seventeen toward this. I’m also faced with different challenges,” she says. “I go into meetings, and people have this preconceived notion of me that I didn’t work hard to get where I am.”
On the hardships of The Hills: “Being on a show like that is a lot more than people think. You’re thrust into the spotlight. There’s all this pressure to act a certain way. It’s hard to adjust. You have to decide early on whether or not you’re willing to do that.”
Her new show will be grittier: “I watch a little reality now, and while I know it’s been partially ruined for me because I’ve been through the process, I think the format has become too beautiful and perfect. It doesn’t look or feel real anymore,” she says. “One of the inspirations for this show is The September Issue. Well? she?s probably smarter than I give her credit for. And she is one of the few ?success? stories coming out of reality programming. For some reason, younger girls just eat up whatever LC dishes out. What is it about LC? Eh.

Making another stop on her cross-country book tour, Lauren Conrad was front and center at The Grove shopping Center in Los Angeles, CA on Friday night (October 8).
Donning a beautiful blue frock, the former "Hills" hottie posed for pictures before signing copies of her two new books, Sugar And Spice and the Lauren Conrad Style Guide, at Barnes & Noble.
Along with her book press obligations, LC also recently released a fun-filled PSA meant to direct all of the "fashion f***ups out there".
Advising men to steer clear of tight, shiny pants and saying that kitten heels are a no-no for all ladies other than Suri Cruise, Lauren tells that "when it comes to fashion, the more you know, the further you?ll go.?

She?s gearing up for her new MTV reality show as well as the launch of her new high-end fashion line, and Lauren Conrad is doing well at keeping her cool.
The ?Hills? babe told press, ?Well, we?re in the very beginning process. We just submitted all of our tech packs for samples, so very early stages.?
But she isn?t expecting to stay stress-free for long. "It will get stressful after this, when you're dealing with deadlines, and you're dealing with production and the possibility of a fashion show. That's kind of when all the stress comes in. So, right now we're just picking colors and doing samples."
As for the television gig, "We haven't started filming yet, so stay tuned! But my roommate and one of my best friends is running the company, the business end, and another one of my good friends, Gary, is doing kind of the creative direction."

Her fans can hardly wait to see her new Reality TV program, and Lauren Conrad recently released some tasty tidbits about who will join in on the fun.
The ?Laguna Beach? babe told press that her roommate Maura and another pal named Gary (from ?Styl?D?) will be included in the show.
LC explained, "I don't know [what will happen], 'cause we haven't started filming yet. So stay tuned! But my roommate and one of my best friends is running the company, the business end, and another one of my good friends, Gary, is doing kind of the creative direction."
"[Gary's] been around [the cameras], as have most of my friends. They've just kind of not stayed in front of them. They've avoided them."

Making her way to the local BookEnds bookstore, the former "Hills" hottie looked adorable as she signed copies of her two new literary offerings, Sugar and Spice and the Lauren Conrad Style Guide.
Aside from her writing efforts, Miss Conrad continues to talk about her just-announced plans to return to reality television.
Chatting with MTV News, LC said, "Well, I never was completely done with reality. It was just reality based on my personal life. So this time around I'm involved with producing. I love the style they want to film it in."
Continuing on, Lauren added, "It's focusing on my career and all the things that I love to do. So I think it'll be a very different show. So that'll be nice."

Now that she?s established herself as an author and designer, Lauren Conrad is ready to go back to Reality TV, but this time it?s going to be on her terms.
The former ?Hills? hottie described her upcoming series as less dramatic and more focused on her career rather than her private side.
Lauren explained, "Well, I never was completely done with reality. It was just reality based on my personal life. So this time around I'm involved with producing. I love the style they want to film it in."
"It's focusing on my career and all the things that I love to do. So I think it'll be a very different show. So that'll be nice. I'm excited because I get to work with some of my old crew, which is really cool. I haven't gotten to see them in a while because they're all very busy people, but hopefully I'm going to get some familiar faces. I already have a couple of the guys from 'The Hills.'"
