Venturing out for a night on the town, Lauren Conrad was among the stars attending the SBE’s launch of Hyde Lounge at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Friday (November 6).
The former MTV reality star looked sexy in a sheer white top with tight black leather pants as she posed for a few pictures before joining up with fellow guests including her former “Hills” BFF/roomie Lauren “Lo” Bosworth.
As for Miss Conrad’s recent work endeavors, she’s been slowly moving along with the process of turning her best-selling “LA Candy” book into a movie.
Talking about the process with MTV, LC recently said, “You know what — in our initial meeting when I was really trying to get the point across of what I wanted this movie to be about, I was saying Hollywood isn’t normal. When you live in Hollywood, you feel like you live in a crazy world.”
“I told them one thing I wanted to capture was that moment when you’re inside a swarm of 20 paparazzi and you can’t move and you don’t know what to do and it’s terrifying,” she said. “And I don’t think anyone’s ever illustrated that before.”

Getting all glammed up for a night on the town, Lauren Conrad was on hand for the Avon Foundation for Women Gala in New York City on Tuesday (October 27).
Looking sexy in a Herve Leger dress, the former “Hills” hottie mingled with fellow celebs on-hand, posing for pictures alongside the likes of Reese Witherspoon and Courteney Cox.
Meanwhile, Miss Conrad is among the rest of us, as she’s currently gearing up for the Halloween holiday.
Of her costume plans, she tells, “I’m going to be a clown! I’m not going the sexy route, really - it’s almost like a jester clown. Tights that are black and white and a tutu and suspenders and funny makeup.”

Lauren Conrad certainly has the skills to make herself one killer Halloween costume. The fashion designer, however, won't be going as anything intentionally scary for the holiday this year. Well, actually, her idea just might frighten people with a fear of clowns.
"We were just talking about this today; we were talking about Halloween costumes," she told MTV News. "And I decided that I want to be a clown this year. Like, a pretty clown with a tutu and bright tights and suspenders. A girl clown."

Continuing to expand her presence in the fashion industry, Lauren Conrad was spotted at the Fall 2009 Denim Tour with Lucky Magazine last night (October 20).
The “L.A. Candy” bestselling author looked to be in good spirits as she arrived at the Bar Marmont located inside the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.
And of course Miss Conrad was looking top-notch, sporting a black blazer with a white blouse, grey skirt, and black and white strappy heels.
With the overwhelming success of her novel (and soon-to-be-movie), as well as her penchant for fashion, it looks like Lauren’s days of television are far behind her.

Spending up some of her hard-earned cash, Lauren Conrad was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills yesterday (October 15) doing a little retail therapy.
Joined by her gal pal Lauren ‘Lo’ Bosworth, the “L.A. Candy” bestselling author looked lovely as she strolled past the paparazzi, sporting a yellow tank top with slim fit dark wash jeans and tan strappy sandals.
Not to be outdone, Lo Bosworth also looked fabulous during the shopping outing, opting for a black and white tie-dye-style top paired with a black skirt and black heels.

Though there may be rumors swirling about regarding a possible return to “The Hills” for Lauren Conrad, she insists it will never happen.
When asked if she would ever consider reprising her reality TV role, LC emphatically replied, “No! No, no, no! Done!”
If it were up to Brody Jenner, Miss Conrad would be back on the show in no time. “I love Lauren to death. She’s been on ‘The Hills’ forever. Of course, you love to film with old castmates, especially Lauren. She’s a great person. I’d love to see her back on it.”
And though Lauren vows never to return, she said she hopes the best for the show. “To be honest, I hope it does really well, because MTV did so much for me. I always want [MTV and ‘The Hills’] to do well, but personally, it’s hard to watch it and be entertained when you were involved with it for so long. Because you’re kind of ... all in your head [about what’s happening].”

Reconnecting with an old friend, Lauren Conrad was spotted out to eat with Brody Jenner at STK Restaurant in Los Angeles last night (October 11).
The “L.A. Candy” bestselling author looked beautiful as she made her way inside the trendy eatery amidst a sea of paparazzi clamoring to get a shot of the former “Hills” costars.
Earlier in the evening, Miss Conrad was over at the Armand Hammer Museum to get in on all the action at the 2009 Hollywood Style Awards.
Lauren wore a flirty strapless floral print minidress teamed with a pair of black heels as she struck a few poses before heading inside.

Following her shopping session, the former “Hills” hottie had an amusing reaction to a photographer taking a tumble as she strolled out to her nearby car.
Meanwhile, LC recently spoke of her love for fashion, saying, “This is what I love. It’s kind of why I did everything else. When I’m doing sketches or going through color swatches, that’s the best time for me.”
“I’ve learned that something will always go wrong in production. I’ve learned that you should always go with your gut, and it’s not important to please everybody,” she said, adding, “Just have fun with it.”

Taking a personal timeout midway through the week, Lauren Conrad was spotted treating herself to a luxurious afternoon in Beverly Hills yesterday (October 7).
The “L.A. Candy” author looked lovely as she meandered around the swanky neighborhood in search of some personal pampering and retail therapy opportunities.
First, Lauren hit up the Kate Somerville Skin Care Clinic where she spent around two hours undergoing some beautification treatments.
From there it was on to the high-end boutiques of Beverly Hills to comb the racks for some new duds and accessories.
