After giving reality TV another go, it is being reported that Lauren Conrad's upcoming MTV show has been pulled.
The former ?Hills? hottie told Hollywood Reporter, ?We sold a show to MTV, filmed it and are really proud of the final result. MTV felt the subject matter was too high brow for their audience and offered me the opportunity to change the show by incorporating more of my personal life.?
"We agreed going into the project that this show would be an aspirational one, focusing on my career and my goals and not my personal relationships," Conrad continued.
"We delivered the show that we sold and are sorry MTV didn?t feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it.?

Shooting down rumors of impending nuptials, Lauren Conrad isn't engaged to marry boyfriend Kyle Howard.
Dismissing NY Post reports as untrue, the former "Hills" star's rep told Us magazine, "I will tell you exactly what I told the Post. This is totally false."
The ill-advised nuptial story comes as LC and Kyle continue to enjoy their low-key relationship - which started back in 2008.
As for the time being, Miss Conrad is continuing to ready the debut of her new reality project on MTV, which focuses on her life as a designer.

Giving herself a break from being blonde, Lauren Conrad acquired a brunette coif at the Chris McMillan salon in Beverly Hills yesterday (January 26).
The ?LA Candy? author toted a Miu Miu handbag as she made her exit, looking lovely in a striped top and sunglasses.
Lauren has been working hard on her new reality show and recently stopped by Young Hollywood Studios to chat with Oliver Trevena.
Ms. Conrad discussed her fashion line, book-selling success, and even admitted to using her own stylist from time to time.

She?s no stranger to a travel-intensive schedule, and Lauren Conrad was spotted arriving at LAX International Airport yesterday (January 12).
The former ?Hills? babe looked to have her hands full as she chatted on her mobile phone while toting a handbag as well as a duffel.
In career news, Lauren was ranked the top celebrity to drive traffic to advertisers? websites thanks to endorsements and social media tools.
Of course, Kim and Khloe Kardashian also scored high in the Consumer Influence Index (#2 and #3, respectively) while Kourtney trailed at #5.

Gearing up to re-enter the spotlight ahead of her new reality show's debut, Lauren Conrad was spotted readying for an outbound flight from LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Sunday (January 9).
Still rocking her darker hairdo, the former "Hills" hottie passed through the metro airport's security checkpoint before trekking through the terminal and onto an awaiting aircraft set for departure.
Aside from her television efforts, Miss Conrad is also making final preparations for the release of her upcoming Paper Crown collection due to launch this Fall.
And while she's made it clear that she'd rather focus on fashion and writing than TV, her agent Max Stubblefield explained that the show is necessary to help keep her buyer base intact and growing.
Of the decision to return to MTV, Stubblefield said, "Lauren's new businesses will feed on the show?which will feed on the new businesses"

Looking fab with with her new locks, Lauren Conrad paid a visit to the Young Hollywood Studio in Los Angeles, California on Friday (January 7).
The former "Hills" hottie joined fellow guest Oliver Trevena as the pair ended the week by tending to promotional efforts for YoungHollywoodStudio.com.
As for her new locks - which she debuted at the CoverGirl?s 50th anniversary bash on Wednesday - Conrad's stylist, Kristin Ess, told Us magazine of the changeup, "It was just time to go for it."
Miss Ess added, "We've done so many variations of blonde in the past and it was time to do something new."

While she opted against hitting the blue carpet for the People's Choice Awards, Lauren Conrad turned up for the afterparty festivities in West Hollywood on Wednesday night (January 5).
The MTV reality star/author looked stylish as she made her way into the Covergirl 50th Anniversary Celebration at BOA Steakhouse.
Once passed through the arrivals area, LC quickly got to mingling with fellow guests while making a stop by Samantha Ronson in the deejay area.
The outing comes as Miss Conrad is gearing up for her return to the small screen with a brand new reality show on MTV focusing on her fashion efforts.

The ?LA Candy? babe looked cute and casual as she posed for pictures solo and also with two special guests, Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
The event, which was sponsored by Disney on Ice and AEG, was called ?Let?s Celebrate? and was in support of the Starlight Children?s Foundation.
Later in the night, Ms Conrad tied on some ice skates and carefully skated around the ice rink at L.A. LIVE.
