Jennifer Lopez went retro with this fabulous Balmain gown which looks like a nod to her Flygirl days. It had rhinestones, shoulder pads, feathers, a high slit and a giant bejeweled cross on the bodice and it was awesome. She and A-Rod were so extra on the red carpet, but thats why theyre perfect for each other. During their brief E! interview they just sang each others praises, and thats what weve come to expect from them. Theyre such showpeople with big personalities and it comes across in everything they do. I love this look including her styling.

As someone who worried about my Florida family during Hurricane Irma, I can totally relate to Jennifer Lopez’s plight. The 48-year-old actress, whose family hails from Puerto Rico, posted a video to Instagram last Friday, expressing her concern for members of her family whom she hadn?t heard from, as well as making an appeal for donations to the charity organized by Puerto Rico?s First Lady, Beatriz Rossello, United for Puerto Rico (Unidos Por Puerto Rico). On Sunday, during a press conference with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, she announced that she was donating $1 million to hurricane relief efforts.
Fortunately, Jennifer?s relatives – Tomas and Adela Rios (the parents of her cousin/assistant Tiana) were located. Jennifer posted a video Wednesday on social media of the couple, who appear to be fine, with the caption ?After a long 6 days we found the last of the family! Now the rebuilding begins!!? My Spanish isn?t what it used to be, but PEOPLE translated their comments for me. About his famous niece, Tomas recalled, ?I?ll never forget how good she was with us, especially my brother.? He added, ?And I remember her since she was a little girl with a lot of love and affection.? Adela shared, ?I?ve always loved her, although I haven?t always had the opportunity to show her because we?re so far away, but I?ve always loved her and remember her with much affection.?

As you all know by now, singer/actress/dancer Jennifer Lopez and former baseball player Alex Rodriguez are together, and it?s been speculated that they are probably going to get married. They?ve already ticked off the boxes that lead to a trip down the aisle. Gushing about your romance on Ellen, check. Met Gala appearance, check. Vacation with the exes, showing that they?re all one big, happy family, check. Introducing your beau to your mother, check. Now, the couple can add ?blended family photo shoot? to the list.
Jennifer, working double duty on her TV series Shades of Blue and the reality dance competition World of Dance, and Alex, who just landed a gig as a contributor to ABC News, got their kids together for a Sunday playdate and recruited photographer Ana Carballosa to document the festivities. She captured a photo of the kids, Jennifer?s 9-year-old twins Max and Emme and Alex?s daughters Ella, 9 and Natasha, 12 romping in the pool, which Jennifer posted to Instagram with the caption, ?Happy Sunday, everybody!?

This post is devoted to some of the couples of the Met Gala, specifically the couples who decided to use the Met Gala as their red carpet couple-debut. The queen of this is obviously Jennifer Lopez, who seems incapable of walking a red carpet by herself. So of course her date was her boyfriend of five minutes, Alex Rodriguez. I wouldn?t be so grumpy about this except Jennifer is basically doing her old-school version of Jackie Kennedy in this Valentino. This has literally nothing to do with the theme and it would be better suited for the Oscars.

Selena Gomez came to the Met Gala with Bella Hadid?s Met Gala date from last year, The Weeknd. Selena and Abel were really feeling themselves too, and they also did the kissy-face posing on the carpet. I feel like a bitter old curmudgeon for saying this, but these kids today! Ugh. Selena wore Coach (because she has a Coach contract) and her dress was utterly boring. To make matters worse, Selena?s eye makeup was? hot pink. Ugh. Abel does look nice though.
Serena Williams wore green Versace. It wasn?t on-theme in the least, but it was a pretty and striking maternity gown. Serena rolled up to the Met Gala with Alexis Ohanian, her rich fiance and baby-daddy and then she made him stand off to the side so she could pose solo. They did pose for a few photos together, and Alexis basically looked so proud of the fact that Serena allowed him to get her pregnant.

As many are aware by now, we are in full Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez relationship rollout. A J.Lo rollout always has an accelerated timeline so she?s right on track. The News Leak happened last month, followed by photographic evidence and then a romantic, childless getaway. Friday saw A-Rod?s confirmation of the relationship while appearing on The View so we only have J.Lo’s confirmation and then ring speculation to go!
Rodriguez publicly confirmed their relationship onThe ViewFriday, and the former Yankees playercouldn?t hold back his praise for the pop superstar.
?It?s obvious. We?ve been having a great time,? he said when asked directly about whether or not he and Lopez are officially an item. ?We?re having a great time. She?s an amazing, amazing girl. One of the smartest human beings I?ve ever met and also an incredible mother.?
Rodriguez added that theShades of Blueactress is also down-to-earth, despite her megastar status, something that he very much appreciates. ?She just likes simple things,? he said. ?I mean, she?s a very, very simple person. Loves family. Is a great sister. Is a great daughter.?
As far as facts most people don’t know about Lopez,Rodriguez shared that she ran track in high school and is actually very athletic, before divulging her guilty-pleasure snacks.
“She would kill me if I said too much,” he said, before spilling that she indulges on “chocolate chip ice cream and chocolate chip cookies.”

You can watch the clip here. When I read these quotes, I was ready to pull out my feminist soapbox and trounce this guy. But if you watch it, the nonsense is on The View?s panel, not A0Rod. For instance, as I mentioned in the Mayim Bialik post, I?m not crazy about people publicly referring to women as ?girls.? (I am not crazy about it in private but I understand that could fall under ?friend-speak? preferences.) Jennifer Lopez is in love with love. Jennifer Lopez cannot be alone. Jennifer Lopez is incapable of being single for more than a month. Jennifer loves love so much that she often overlaps lovers and relationships just to ensure that she will never be alone. If Jennifer isn?t overlapping relationships, she?s simply moving on from one breakup to a new relationship in a matter of days. Whatever happened, I think we can safely say that there was a lot of overlap. Jennifer started this thing with Alex Rodriguez when she was still technically dating Drake, and A-Rod was seemingly in a relationship too. Still, the overlaps are like the least offensive part of this. The most offensive part? The fact that Jennifer seems all-in with such a noted jackass within a matter of a few months. They?re currently on vacation together.

New couple Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are enjoying a romantic getaway at Bakers Bay Golf & Ocean Club, an exclusive, owners-only destination in the Bahamas, The Post has learned. The couple flew by private jet from Miami to Marsh Harbour on Friday night. At 9:30 p.m., they arrived at Harbour View Marina, where they were caught getting cozy on a power boat en route to their sequestered love nest. J-Rod are spending the weekend alone at a friend?s home, according to a source familiar with their tropical canoodling.
?It?s early days, but Jennifer and Alex are really into each other,? the source said.
The luxurious club, which sits on a seven-mile stretch of Great Guana Cay in the Abaco islands 150 miles off the Florida coast, is a favorite destination of the rich and famous. Celebrities known to vacation there include Reese Witherspoon, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady and wife Gisele Bndchen.
Lopez, 47, and Rodriguez, 41, have been quietly dating for months, Page Six recently confirmed.

Jennifer Lopez might be on the market after her relationship with Drake recently hit the skids , but one guy who isn’t a romantic prospect for is her ex-husband and father of her twins, Marc Anthony. On the promotional trail for the new season of her NBC cop drama Shades of Blue, Jennifer subjected herself to a little cross-examination by the ladies of The View, who brought up the kiss she shared with Marc at the Latin Grammys in November. (You may recall that Marc Anthony?s first wife, Dayanara Torres, told People Mag about that kiss ?Such a shame that a moment of so much stature lost quality with everything that came after.” As for whether or not the kiss was the prelude to a more serious romantic relationship, Jennifer replied:
Marc and I are good how we are right now. There’s a reason we’re not together, but we’re great friends. And we’re parents together. We’re even working on a Spanish album together. That has been even better for us. We met working, and that’s where we’re really magical. When we’re on stage together, and so we leave it there. That’s it.

Could she be a little more vague? The reason she could be referring to is the fact that Marc wants to devote his time and effort to his career and his kids. I think Jennifer is very career and family-focused too. It’s great that they have such a good working relationship, and they seem to have two very happy kids. Could long hours working together in the recording studio change anything between Marc and Jennifer? We will just have to wait and see I guess.
