There?s tremendous pressure that comes with being in the spotlight day and night, so Jennifer Lopez knows the value of finding one?s footing.
During her interview on ?The Wendy Williams Show,? J. Lo shared the secret to keeping it all together with so much going on in her life.
"I'm a big soul searcher, and I read a lot of self-help books. I am always kinda searching for answers. I'll randomly just open a Bible looking for answers and guidance."
Williams also asked if Lopez was single, as in "not intimate with anybody at this time." And the ?On the Floor? singer affirmed, "Yes, I've been single for a couple of months.?
However, when she decides to find her next gentleman caller, Lopez will keep all options open. "I don't look at the outside so much. I'm not an outside-cover person, I am more of, like, an essence person."

Though they?ve both moved on from each other, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's divorce wasn?t actually finalized until Monday (June 16).
The ?I Need to Know? stud and his ?Waiting for Tonight? ex took their sweet time coming up with a custody arrangement for their children Max and Emme but now everything has been worked out.
Per a report, Marc will get physical custody of the 5-year-old twins for seven days per month and J. Lo will take them for the remainder of the time.
And now that she?s legally single, Jennifer (who split with Casper Smart last month) sounds like she intends on staying that way. She previously explained, "You know, I've always believed in that institution [marriage]. I believe in it, but it is difficult. I've had my challenges, but at the same time I believe in love, and I think that is the main thing."

Showing some love to her hometown followers, Jennifer Lopez greeted a crowd outside a New York City office building on Tuesday afternoon (June 17).
The ?Love Don?t Cost a Thing? hitmaker smiled for photos and signed a ton of autographs while sporting a pastel Pink pajama-style matching tank and trousers with heels.
And now that she?s single, J. Lo admitted to Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan that she definitely took a liking to male model David Gandy while filming her ?First Love? music video.
Lopez confessed, "Well, I would never ever name anybody, but I just did a video with this model. I don't know if you guys know him, his name is David Gandy ... He's in the Dolce & Gabbana ads ... I mean, this guy, he's almost perfect. He's almost perfect."

Getting fans excited for her new album, Jennifer Lopez released a teaser for her single "Booty" on Monday (June 16).
The newly single singer shakes her famous rump with a bevy of backup dances as she sings her upbeat tune, which is featured on her upcoming album - A.K.A.
Her eighth studio album hits shelves tomorrow (June 17) and also features newly released track ?First Love.? During her recent interview with Billboard magazine, she revealed that she found inspiration for the project while touring with Enrique Iglesias.
"After I got home, I realized I was a stronger vocalist than maybe even I gave myself credit for," Lopez said. "I never put myself out there to show the world what I could do in the best way I could. And touring, you gain a lot when you go out there every night and sing when you feel good, or even when your voice is scratchy and you feel a little off. It made me want to get back into the studio without that cage I had put on myself. Once I let that beast loose, I was doing things I didn't know I could do."

With a highly-anticipated new album on the way and a triumphant performance at the 2014 World Cup opening ceremony, Jennifer Lopez is taking her career to the next level.
The 44-year-old ?On The Floor? singer covers the latest edition of Billboard magazine and in her interview she declares that she?s not worried about impressing anyone anymore.
?I don?t feel like I have anything to prove anymore. And all these people who came a generation before this one and showed us that you don?t have to, as a young woman, have an expiration date. You can go on, and you can do what you want into your 60s and 70s and you can be powerful and be vulnerable and be human. And I think we?re just carrying that on. I?d like to think I?m part of the generation that?s carrying that on.?
Rather than feel the need to have everything planned out, J. Lo would rather take things as they come. ?I don?t know what I?m going to be doing in the next six months. I really don?t. And that?s OK for me. Because what I like is whatever happens is supposed to happen. And I?m good. I can roll with that.?
Furthermore, Lopez doesn?t regret the hard times she?s weathered over the years, as she?s come out a more well-rounded woman. ?Things have changed so much for me. I had to really do some soul searching and just realize a lot of things about love, and now I feel like I come from a place where I?m stronger and, I think, better.?

Soccer fever has taken over most of the globe as the 2014 World Cup has kicked off in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull were in the house to get things started on Thursday (June 12).
Joined by Brazilian pop singer Claudia Leitte, the ?Waiting for Tonight? songstress and the ?Timber? rapper performed the official FIFA song ?We Are One (Ole Ola)? while fans looked on.
Unfortunately there were some technical issues that made it difficult to hear J. Lo and Pitbull, and many spectators complained about the problem.
An ITV spokesperson explained, "The sound problem that regrettably caused some disruption to viewers was caused by a technical issue with the host broadcaster, which provides the coverage of all the action at this year's World Cup."

Since I rarely pay attention to anything having to do with Dancing with the Stars, I had always considered Maksim Chmerkovsky as something like a D-lister with a good body who dated way above his pay grade. Like, he supposed dated Kate Upton and he?s been attached to most of the women he?s been partnered with on DTWS. But a few weeks ago, I saw an interview with him on? I want to say ABC Nightly News? And he came across pretty well, like a humble immigrant living the American Dream. Now, all that being said? NO NO NO. People Mag reports that Maks might have a new girlfriend? Jennifer Lopez.
Does Jennifer Lopez have a new man in her life? The recently single singer has been busy promoting her latest studio album A.K.A. (out June 17), but she’s found a little time for Dancing with the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, sources tell PEOPLE. Lopez, 44, met the dancing hunk, 34, through her best friend Leah Remini and her DWTS partner Tony Dovolani, but the two have been taking it slow due to work commitments.
“He danced with her at the [American Music Awards last November] and they kept in touch,” a friend of the singer’s tells PEOPLE.
Says another source who knows both Lopez and Chmerkovskiy: “They are friends and have been talking.”
Indeed, Lopez ? and Remini ? were on hand for Maksim’s brother Val Chmerkovskiy’s 28th birthday in Los Angeles in late March. Celebrating along the 70 other guests, including Candace Cameron Bure, the singer “drank wine and snacked on pizza” before leaving the festivities at The Redbury Hotel after 1 a.m. So will the duo be out and about as a full-fledged couple any time soon? “I think they could. Who knows what will happen?” muses the Lopez pal.
The “First Love” singer’s split from Casper Smart was announced earlier this week and the choreographer seems to be moving on as well. Smart was spotted out and about with friends at the Maxim Hot 100?s Patron-sponsored bash in Los Angeles Tuesday night.
“He was flirting with girls and having the best time,” says a partygoer.
Reps for both Lopez and Chmerkovskiy declined to comment.

Page Six?s source says that when they danced together at the AMAs, ?They were definitely attracted to each other, but nothing happened between them.? For the love of God. I believe it.
The thing is, I didn?t expect Jennifer to stay single for long. She hates to be alone. Always. She never gives herself a rest. She never has some ?Me Time.? So, I was expecting her to find a new boyfriend quickly. But chica needs to STAHP with the backup dancers. Enough, J.Lo.

The ?Waiting for Tonight? songstress donned a pair of snug white trousers with a cropped green long-sleeve sweater, white shoes and a silly wig as she joined Fallon for the sketch.
Jimmy launched into the song- ?Everybody is talking about my tight pants, I got my tight pants on,? to which Lopez replied, ?I?m the only chick wearing tight pants? the tightest pants in all the land.
However, Fallon wasn?t having it as he challenged his Latina cohort- ?Slow down there young lady friend,? but J. Lo came back with, ?Listen up you little b*tch, you better hide your wife, you better hide your kids because I will cut you.?

I hope, hope, HOPE this is true. Us Weekly reports this morning that Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are over. Dunzo. Finished! It was getting really bad. Over the past few weeks, The Dirty has been publishing alleged text messages/sexts between Casper and two trans models. This following the consistent rumors that Casper is maybe on the downlow, or that he?s been cheating on Jennifer this whole time with various people. Basically, the whole Casper thing has been awful for Jennifer?s image. Usually that?s when she doubles-down though. Maybe she?s breaking the cycle?
Looks like Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart’s “luh” story is over. The “I Luh Ya Papi” singer and her backup dancer-turned-choreographer beau have split after two and a half years of dating, a source close to Lopez confirms to Us Weekly.
“It has actually been an amicable process that started a few months ago,” the J.Lo insider says. “It wasn’t an easy decision, but they decided to stay friends…Their relationship couldn’t work with the distance. He started trying to establish his own life and career, and she is so focused on hers, and they just couldn’t be all about each other anymore.”
The source adds that Lopez is “doing fine.” It helps, the insider says, that “she’s so focused on promoting the album. They are both in a good place now.”
In recent weeks, however, the duo faced rumors that Smart had cheated on Lopez with a transgender model he reportedly met online. Gossip site The Dirty claimed to have evidence that he had been exchanging photos and messages with the model via Instagram. There were rumors about a second transgender model, too. A source close to the couple told Us Weekly, however, that the story was “100 percent not true.”
“The scandal had nothing to do with it,” the first insider tells Us. “He insists none of that is true and she believes him.”

If they?ve been in the process of breaking up for months, then why were they all loved up at the AMAs? Why all the hand-wringing and drama and why did a ?source? (J.Lo?s manager, it sounded like) leak to People that they were still together ?for now? just a few days ago? Anyway, I?m not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. I?ve just got my fingers crossed that this is true.
Update: TMZ & People are reporting this now as well, so it’s totally true. A source told TMZ: “Casper has been a single guy and can text or see whoever he wants, but the idea that he was knowingly texting a transsexual is laughable. He’s not that guy, but like a lot of single guys online he obviously likes to look at a ‘lil T and A.” Um… what?! The thing about that quote is that it’s bad enough to think that it came from Casper, but what if it came from J.Lo? Gurl, get your shiz together.
So, who should Jennifer date next? Please let it be David Gandy!!!
