Here are some photos of Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez and Violet Affleck on the Fourth of July. There?s always at least one major ?industry party? on Independence Day, and this year Michael Rubin hosted it. The dress code was ?all white,? which? eh. It feels very early-aughts, doing an all-white dress code for a summer party. I remember those Hamptons parties with all-white dress codes. Still, Bennifer was game and so was Violet.
Violet is fully her mother?s daughter I always do a double-take whenever I see photos of her, because it inevitably looks like Jennifer Garner and J.Lo are hanging out. I wonder if J.Lo does the same double-take. Violet not only paired her white dress with pigtails, she also wore a mask at the party. She?s 17 years old and she?s still like ?actually, I don?t want to catch anything.? The only other Hollywood type I?ve seen wearing masks still, to this day, is Leo DiCaprio (and I mostly think that?s about the paparazzi).
Speaking of Leo, Ben and J.Lo are both Leos, with Jennifer?s birthday coming up on July 24th and Ben?s birthday coming up on August 15. Will they do another birthday trip in Europe? Will they get a yacht? I hope so. There are also persistent rumors that Ben and Jen will do a vow renewal this summer for their one-year anniversary. I hope not I hope they just go on a big birthday/anniversary trip.

This story came out last week but I just saw it, so I apologize for my tardiness. Jennifer Lopez appeared on Live with Kelly and Mark to discuss her large, blended family. Although Jen and husband Ben Affleck are enjoying a big, happy family vibe, the fact is, when they united their two fronts, they ended up with a whole house full of teenagers. Of all of the things you want doubled when you merge households, teens are likely not your first choice. Jen told Kelly and Mark that it was kind of a shock to go from babies, who tend to listen to their parents, to these pre-teens and teens who ?start challenging you.? I imagine if you multiple that by five, yeah, that would be tough.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have their hands full.
During a new guest appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark, the ?Let?s Get Loud? singer opened up about her and her husband?s blended family. Between them, the couple share five children in total, four of whom are teenagers.
?That?s almost five teenagers. The youngest is 11, so he?s not quite [a teen], but preteen,? Lopez told hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. ?He?s an angel.?
She added, ?The teenage years are tough. They start challenging you and everything. You have this baby for a while and then it?s like your best little friend who loves being with you all the time, and all of a sudden they?re like, ?Get out of my room.??
Consuelos?who shares three children with Ripa?offered a few words of comfort to the multi-hyphenate: ?But, you know they come back when they?re in their 20s.?
?Twenties?!? Lopez replied. ?Jesus Christ! I?m so depressed.?
?It?s crazy, I feel like I had them yesterday. They were just babies a little while ago,? Lopez continued. ?It?s the time when they are individuating and they are challenging everything you say and everything you do and everything you are. And that?s what it is. And you have to kind of just ride the waves. I feel like it?s like surfing. I?m just riding the waves?whoops, just got knocked over. Now, I?m back! I?m back!?
She also described the struggles of being a mother of teenagers.
?I think it?s particularly hard on moms a little bit. Because they always kind of love Dad,? she said. ?They are always kind of like, ?Dad?s the best.? And I was like that with my dad too. My mom told me?and I?ll say it to you right now on TV in front of everybody?I understand you so much more now.?

Jen and Ben?s problem is numbers. Once they got five, it became mob rule. I?m kidding. Five teens sounds overwhelming to me and so far, teenagerdom is my favorite phase. Maybe because mine challenged me from the start, the little brats. No! Again, I?m kidding kind of. I don?t know how to communicate with younger kids. I tend to approach things through discussion and four-year-olds don?t really have many counter arguments I can relate to. So once my kids brought their own viewpoints into the picture, our relationship took on a larger dimension. It?s just different for everyone, I think. But again, I have two and there are two adults. We?re not outnumbered.
I love Jen likening raising kids to surfing and getting knocked over by the waves of challenges. It?s an apt description. I also

I?ll just put this out there at the top: I?m not worried about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck?s marriage, actually. I think, as a couple, they?re fine. He adores her, she worships him. They?re two 50-something divorcees who know how much give and take there is in a marriage and what they need to do to look after each other. Now, I am slightly concerned about some other things! I?m concerned that J.Lo?s glam squad is dysfunctional and I?m concerned that Ben is going to lose his mind on a paparazzo at some point.
These are photos from last night?s LA premiere of The Mother, J.Lo?s new Netflix film. She was in New York most of last week doing promotion for this movie and she was moving around solo, with no Ben (he stayed in LA). I?m glad that Ben came out to her premiere, because I think that means a lot to her, that Ben will come out to her events too. Now, most of the photos of Ben from the red carpet are just of him trying to kiss Jennifer or talk to her he wasn?t very interested in posing. Still, I?m not ?worried? about them.
Fashion notes: Jennifer wore a custom Brunello Cucinelli ensemble. Her body is crazy but I do feel like we?ve seen too much of her abs lately. Like? it?s fine to just wear a simple blouse, J.Lo! If I had her abs, I would probably show them off as well.
Meanwhile, this Bennifer video has been going viral they were out grabbing coffee or shopping in LA this week and Ben was very annoyed at the paparazzi trailing them. The car-door slam was, in my opinion, not about J.Lo, it was about the paps.

Jennifer Lopez attended this year?s Met Gala, and I don?t think Ben went with her? One year, Ben did go to the gala but J.Lo walked the carpet solo, but it doesn?t appear that they did the same thing this year. J.Lo wore this Ralph Lauren look and? no. It fell flat. I mean, her body looks amazing and I like the idea of the design more than the execution.
Dua Lipa was one of the co-chairs of this year?s Met Gala, which basically means that Anna Wintour likely had to approve of Dua?s look. Dua chose a vintage 1992 Chanel (bridal) gown and paired it with giant diamonds from Tiffany & Co. The look was, overall, not really a serve. I mean, it?s vintage Chanel, it?s fine, but the effect was very? prairie/prom/bridal and I?m not sure that was what she wanted.
Roger Federer and his wife Mirka Roger was one of the co-chairs of this year?s gala, and he?s good friends with Anna Wintour (she adores him). I hoped that he would wear something crazy, but he just pulled out a nice tuxedo. Mirka is killing it though, I love her Valentino dress.

Here are some photos from last night?s LA premiere of Air. This the Ben Affleck-directed film about how Nike built the Air Jordan brand for Michael Jordan. It was done with MJ?s blessing, although MJ isn?t a character in the film. Viola Davis plays MJ?s mom, and Affleck has already said that Jordan was the one who dream-cast her. Ben looked very pulled-together and sharp at the premiere, and his wife Jennifer Lopez was on hand to support him.
Bennifer posed together and they posed separately they?ve both been at it long enough to know the deal. Photographers wanted all options J.Lo separately (for the fashionistas), Ben separately (for the film nerds) and Bennifer together (for the lovers). J.Lo wore Antonio Grimaldi Couture. It?s not my favorite look, but she looks fine and they look so happy together. When Ben spoke ahead of the premiere, he gave special thanks to his wife and it was really sweet.

Here are some photos of Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel at last night?s LA premiere of Shotgun Wedding. This movie won?t be in theaters you can stream it on Amazon Prime Video. Which makes sense, I guess? This was a pretty troubled production with Armie Hammer getting fired/stepping away right before the production began and Josh flew in last minute to replace him. Plus, this was filmed as J.Lo was dumping Alex Rodriguez! Remember that? Amazing.
Anyway, I?ve been trying to figure out the design of J.Lo?s dress. I think the design is: a body-con, nude bodysuit with a bright yellow bow around the waist, then a sparkly transparent dress ?overlay.? The fact that the yellow bow is underneath the sparkly overlay has broken my brain. The dress is Valentino! She loves Valentino.
I was disappointed that Ben Affleck didn?t walk the red carpet with his wife, but Ben did come out for the premiere afterparty. It looks like J.Lo went somewhere and changed into a minidress and she also picked up Ben, who was very affectionate with her at the party. So everything is fine in Bennifer World.

Most heterosexual women have that guy in their past who just left us with a lot of regrets and unfinished business. Not necessarily ?the one who got away,? although that might be the same guy for some of us. But maybe just the relationship we wish had gone differently, had ended up a different way, the one we wish we could revisit with a different perspective. For Jennifer Lopez, that guy was always Ben Affleck. He was the one who got away, for sure, but for J.Lo, you just got the sense that there was just so much unfinished business. Well, now that Ben and J.Lo have reunited and she finally got that man down the aisle, she?s releasing a new album, a follow-up or companion piece to her 2002 album This is Me? Then. The new album is called This is Me? Now. To promote the album, she spoke to Apple Music 1:
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck?s road to marriage was not an easy one. In a new interview with Apple Music 1, the ?Marry Me? singer reflected on her rekindled romance with the ?Deep Water? actor and recalled the pain she felt after they ended their first engagement in 2004.
?It was so painful after we broke up,? Lopez, 53, told host Zane Lowe. ?Once we called off that wedding 20 years ago, it was the biggest heartbreak of my life. I honestly felt like I was going to die. It sent me on a spiral for the next 18 years where I just couldn?t get it right. But now, 20 years later, it does have a happy ending. It has the most ?would never happen in Hollywood? ending.?
Lopez ? who rekindled her romance with 50-year-old Affleck 17 years after they first split ? announced Friday that she will be releasing a new album called ?This Is Me ? Now,? an updated play on her 2002 release, ?This Is Me? Then.?
?We captured me at this moment in time when I was reunited with the love of my life and we decided we were going to be together forever,? the ?Let?s Get Loud? singer explained. ?The whole message of the album is, ?This love exists. This is a real love.?
The ?Gigli? co-stars got engaged for the first time in November 2002, the same month Lopez?s album ?This Is Me ? Then? was released, but called it quits two years later.
?Now I think what the message of [the album] is ? if you have, like me at times, lost hope, almost given up, don?t,? Lopez told Lowe. ?True love does exist and some things do last forever and that?s real. I want to put that message out into the world and that does take a lot of vulnerability.?

I think Jennifer Lopez?s strategy was pretty good. She rushed the elopement because the focus was just getting Ben down the aisle, getting that commitment from ?the one who got away.? Jennifer Lopezs wedding celebration with Ben Affleck was an affair to remember for the bride. A source tells PEOPLE that Lopez, 53, thought the couples weekend fte in Georgia with their friends and family was perfect.
It was a dream for her, the insider shares. She loved having all the kids there. She loved the location. It all felt very special.
According to the source, the actress and singer feels extremely happy being married to Ben.

Meanwhile, Ben was photographed on Sunday, during the day, dropping his kids and maybe some other people off at a private air strip. He watched carefully as his kids boarded the private plane. I assume they went back to LA because they maybe had school? Who knows though. Then, hours later, Ben was seen at the same air strip, I think. It was Sunday evening and he looked like he had been partying. Either that or he was completely exhausted. TMZ says J.Lo was in the car with him.

Y?all know that my favorite details about celebrity weddings involve food and the wedding cake. So it is with profound disappointment that I admit that I cannot find many details about the food or the cake at Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck?s wedding. I?ve seen twenty articles devoted to the Savannah hotel where guests were staying, even information about the shuttle service and the outdoor brunch on Sunday. Tell me about the food! For the love of God. Anyway, here are more details about Bennifer?s Wedding Weekend:
Everyone wore white: ET has learned that guests for the couples second wedding at Afflecks estate in Riceboro, Georgia are wearing white for Saturdays big soiree. An eyewitness tells ET, Guests were gathering at The Perry Lane Hotel [in Savannah] to head to Jennifer and Bens wedding. The source added. Everyone is dressed in white with most women in white dresses and gowns, and most men in white suits, a majority in linen material, but the dress code features a wide variety. Some men are in white shorts and sneakers and there is a female guest in a white fringe leather jacket and sparkly cowboy hat.
The shuttle service: In fact, while guests were at the reception desk waiting for shuttles provided by Coastal Limo, a source tells ET that a hotel staff member entered the lobby and popped a bottle of champagne. When one wedding guest got their glass of champagne, the guest exalted, Im ready! The source said guests provided their IDs before boarding the waiting shuttles. While they waited, guests snapped pictures to commemorate the moment.
A trolley service? After the ceremony, guests were transported from the main house to the reception via trolley service provided by Old Savannah Tours. Keeping things personal, the couples trolleys included custom JB vinyl was on the side of the rides. Sonja Oglesby, Group Services Coordinator at Old Savannah Tours, told ET, The guests were all excited to be there and happy to be invited. Everyone was very happy and polite and happy for Jen and Ben. She added, We were excited for our trolleys and our drivers to be part of their celebration.
Fireworks: Jennifer and Bens big day was capped off with an extravagant fireworks display. Whitesell, shared a video on her Instagram stories of a series of fireworks shooting into the night sky on her Instagram story. Along with the light show, the model wrote, El Amor.
Goodie bags. A source tells ET that wedding guests staying at The Perry Lane Hotel were welcomed with goodie bags in the straw nude material with a JB inscription in white script letters on the bag.
Ben and Jen remained cool, calm and collected all weekend: Ben and Jen have been so gracious all weekend. They have been wonderful towards all the staff helping with the event, from the limo shuttle service company and beyond, the source said. You can tell how in love they are and how comfortable they are with each other. They cant wait to continue to celebrate all weekend long with the people they love the most.

The Mirror claims that the food was ?Southern? style, roast chicken and pork chops maybe, with mac and cheese? I think that?s just a guess though. What I also find notable is that all of the wedding celebrations were outdoor, even the Sunday brunch. Outdoor wedding, wedding reception, wedding brunch? all in Georgia, in August. Up here in Virginia, it was pretty humid all weekend, although I think Georgia escaped the thunderstorms we got this weekend. But in Georgia, the humidity is no joke. I bet everyone felt kind of sticky.
