True story, when I wrote about Jose Canseco?s accusations yesterday, I totally forgot that Jose Canseco is a terrible person. Canseco tweeted out several shady things on Sunday, claiming that Alex Rodriguez has been cheating on Jennifer Lopez with Jessica Canseco, who is Jose?s ex-wife (and A-Rod?s ex-girlfriend). On one side, we should definitely not be in the habit of considering Canseco to be a good source of interesting and truthful gossip. On the other side, A-Rod IS a cheater. He?s serially unfaithful to every wife and girlfriend he?s ever had. It is known. So would it really be shocking to think that a compulsive, serial cheater would also be cheating on his latest soulmate? Well, in any case, Jennifer Lopez doesn?t care. She?s unbothered.
Jennifer Lopez is turning the other cheek after Jose Canseco accused her new fianc, Alex Rodriguez, of being unfaithful.
?She?s heard the cheating rumors in the past and has never let it bother her,? a source tells Us Weekly exclusively. ?She trusts him and his love. They are inseparable and together almost all of the time. Jose Canseco has an ax to grind, but she doesn?t hear the noise.?

You know what I?ve been thinking about a lot lately? Bennifer 1.0 and what an amazing disaster that was. All of the red flags were there too Ben Affleck was in and out of treatment facilities, he went from hobo to plucked and tucked and orange Oscar date. He looked like he wanted to die, but Jennifer kept sticking by him, even at the poker table, everything. I think that?s just who she is she believes that ?being in love? means ignoring every single problem, every single red flag. Anyway, I don?t think this will turn out like Bennifer 1.0. I think this will turn out more like Jennifer?s marriage to Marc Anthony A-Rod will be controlling and narcissistic and everything will be about HIM and she?ll just go along. And yes, he?ll cheat on her constantly. He already is, I?m pretty sure.

If you remember, I thought Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez looked particularly glum at the Oscars. Not even A-Rod it was all J.Lo. SHE looked over it, and like she was disappointed to be walking yet another red carpet with Alex. I theorized that a breakup might be happening, and I also felt like Jennifer was reaching a point where if Alex didn?t propose, she was going to call it off. Usually men propose to Jennifer much earlier in their relationships. She let it be known repeatedly that she felt like this A-Rod thing was going to end in marriage. And he still wasn?t proposing. I wonder if the Oscar-glumness was part of an ultimatum, because two weeks later, A-Rod proposed.
The proposal happened during their vacation in the Bahamas. I don?t know if their kids were with them, but I know that their blended family is very important to both of them. Still, I kind of wonder if Marc Anthony had the kids this weekend? Jennifer?s manager Benny Medina confirmed the news, and People Mag wants us to know that ?Everyone is super happy for both of them.? I thought Jennifer Lopez looked especially glum and over-it at the Oscars, but she seemed to perk up slightly for the Vanity Fair Oscar party. She went with Alex Rodriguez, who may or may not be plucking her last nerve. Mostly, I think Jennifer was happy to have better makeup for the afterparties her styling at the Oscars was not great. She wore these peacock vibing Zuhair Murad dress. I love the colors but hate the design.
Kacey Musgraves in Versace. Kacey really went to LA to do the whole Oscar experience. I can?t hate on her hustle maybe Kacey is the next Blake Shelton, some country crossover who becomes a huge multi-platform name. She?s certainly trying. Anyway, I actually sort of like this Versace it?s a great party dress.
KiKi Layne also chose Versace for her party dress. This doesn?t look comfortable, nor is it actually that cute?

Many of you disagreed with me that Alicia Keys was ?the worst? part of the Grammys. Maybe I should correct myself Keys was definitely one of the worst parts, just my opinion. Her narcissism drives me up a wall. But yes, arguably the worst part of this year?s Grammys was Jennifer Lopez being the ?star? of the Motown tribute. It would be one ill-advised thing if Jennifer had just been one smallish part of a larger tribute with multiple singers and performers. But that?s not what happened. What happened was this cringe-inducing crap:
Some of us were like ?this is on Grammy producers for even suggesting it? and some of us were like ?yeah but Jennifer should have known better too, and she could have said no.? Everybody?s got some blame. And a sure sign that it really was that bad is that people are still talking about it days later. So much so that Jennifer had to address what happened, telling ET:
?The thing about music is that it inspires all. Any type of music can inspire any type of artist. You can?t tell people what to love. You can?t tell people what they can and can?t do, what they should sing or not sing. You gotta do what?s in your heart.?
She went on to say that Motown producer Berry Gordy, as well as producers of the awards show, were ?thrilled? about her involvement. ?They know how much I have been influenced by that music and so it was a natural fit for them.?
As for those critics? ?That?s okay,? Lopez said to Entertainment Tonight. ?I?m just very humbled and honored to be able to have sung those songs.?

In some sense, every artist that came after the Motown heyday was influenced by Motown. But mostly Jennifer carved out a corner in the straight pop music scene, with dance/electronica and hip-hop influences. Her music has never had any kind of Motown sound in way, shape or form. And please don?t make this about ?what?s in your heart.? It?s easy enough to hear the Grammy producers? ideas and say ?you know what, I?m not the person to do this.?

Jennifer Lopez was one of the few major female pop stars at the Grammys, although when all was said and done, it really did feel like the Grammy producers were making an effort to show more women throughout, especially given last year?s much-criticized sausage party. J.Lo turned up on the red carpet with her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, who tried to participate in music?s biggest night. J.Lo wouldn?t even let him share her mic during the red carpet interview on CBS. It was pretty funny.
Also funny? Jennifer?s red carpet ensemble, which was Ralph and Russo, straight off the runway. The jumpsuit was great, honestly, and if that was it, I would have been all for it. Unfortunately, Jennifer also grabbed a giant hat, which was unwieldy on the carpet and inside. I don?t get how giant hats are a thing now.
As for Jennifer?s participation in the Motown Tributethere?s backlash and it?s WELL deserved. To be fair, Grammy producers knew exactly what they were doing and they were absolutely inviting people to pile on J.Lo. She could have turned it down, especially when it was clear that she was going to be the centerpiece of the ?tribute to Motown? despite the fact that she really has no connection to Motown, and (frankly) she?s not black. Smokey Robinson defended her, but really? this was a bad decision all around. What were the producers thinking, and what was she thinking?

I was surprised at how popular the skincare post was on Friday. Im a newbie when it comes to skincare and I learned a lot from your comments and suggestions. Last night I tried the microneedling device that I linked in that post. I cleaned my skin with Simple foaming cleanser and then exfoliated with the acure brightening facial scrub. (It does seem to work, but has a lot of grit that takes time to rinse off.) After microneedling my skin gently (directions are here), I cleaned the device with soap and water and then soaked it in alcohol as recommended. Then I rinsed my face with water and treated my skin with Bare Minerals serum. (It was just a sample I had.) My face is so smooth today and feels amazing! Its a little tingly but it doesnt hurt and it definitely made a difference. As long as you stick to around .25mm needles at home, I think microneedling is safe to try and shows results. Also I ordered the Costco K-Beauty skincare kit that Skyblue recommended. It was $100 which felt like a splurge but you get full size products and thats cheaper than a facial.
So thanks for all your help and advice on that post. I may do a follow up in a day or two with what Ive learned as I keep reading about skincare. Many celebrities have skincare lines including Salma Hayek, Christie Brinkley and Miranda Kerr. Jennifer Lopez is getting into this lucrative business with her own line, coming out next year. She already put out a makeup capsule collection earlier this year and of course she has perfume and clothing lines. Given how amazing she always looks at 49, this is a natural next step.
After years of being asked for her skin-care routine, Lopez revealed that shes finally working on a new line. I will be coming out with a skin-care line. Ive been working on it for a long time because I dont want to put [just] anything out, she said during a speaking event in New York City, where she was promoting her new film Second Act. She told moderator Yari Blanco, who asked about her skin-care regimen, I get that question a lot, especially as I get older. I want it to be something that encompasses all the things Ive learned and all the secrets I have. And it doesnt have anything to do with needles.
As if that wasnt enough exciting news for the crowd at co-working space The Wing, who cheered when she made the announcement, J.Lo said that the product will be effective, especially being that its a personal project. Its going to be something that works, she said. Thats what you can count on when my name is on something.
And while Lopez didnt give many details on the line ? like the exact products or the name ? were predicting that there will be a brightening moisturizer or serum included in the collection. Because when it comes to Lopez, everyone always wants to know how they can achieve that J.Lo glow. The one thing we do know is that the release is tentatively scheduled for late 2019, as Lopez announced at The Wing, and were marking our calendars.

Normally I would think oh thats great that it doesnt have any needles but now that Ive tried microneedling Im a convert. Im sure there are all sorts of other celebrity skincare treatments that Im also missing out on, like mild acidic serums and treatments. Lopez told People in 2016 that she uses glycolic acid (heres a high rated inexpensive brand) and night creams. Plus she possibly had laser resurfacing at some point, but Im just guessing. I have to stop reading all about this stuff as I just end up spending money for problems I didnt realize I had.

This is a cautionary tale for all the stunt queens and melodramatic fashionistas out there: if you?re going to attempt a major LEWK at a big film premiere, please make sure the carpet is big enough and empty enough to accommodate your LEWK. Jennifer Lopez spent all of Wednesday in New York, doing press for Second Act, her Christmas comedy. She did a Blake Lively-esque fashion show for the paparazzi, changing her costumes multiple times throughout the day as she appeared on talk shows and Q&A sessions and whatever.
It was all building up to the big New York premiere. Jennifer was supposed to rule the carpet in an epic Giambattista Valli dress with an epic mullet skirt with a ten-foot-long train. J.Lo planned it perfectly? and then the carpet wasn?t big enough for her hot Pink dress. No one could get the really dramatic full-length photo of the dress and the train. Instead, Jennifer?s look became a nuisance, something people had to negotiate around as they tried to do red carpet interviews and pose for photos. Rookie mistake, Jennifer. She knows it too she didn?t look happy at all on the carpet. Also: Alex Rodriguez came out for this premiere, after avoiding the other premieres.
I?m also including premiere photos of Milo Ventimiglia, Leah Remini and Vanessa Hudgens. V-Hud is wearing Marc Jacobs it?s kind of ridiculous, yet I understand why she chose it.

True story: I absolutely love dumb romantic comedies and ?ladies are doing it for themselves? movies. Jennifer Lopez has made many of those kinds of films, and that?s what her latest is Second Act is sort of like a mature version of the early ?90s classic Don?t Tell Mom the Babysitter?s Dead. Jennifer stars as a woman from the outer borough who, through lies and competence, finds herself at a high-powered job in Manhattan. I?ve watched the trailer a few times and I think it looks SO cute. It?s not going to win awards, but if you want to watch a silly, lady-centric movie over the holidays, I think this will do.
The LA premiere of Second Act was last night, and they did the styling for the premiere backdrop like a ?winter wonderland.? Very Christmas-y. Jennifer wore a Valentino baby-doll dress, basically. While I think this dress is ?too cute? for a 49 year old woman, I also think Jennifer looks amazing. Like, I would flat-out hate this on most women. Jennifer pulls it off, shoulder ruffles and all.
Jennifer also happily posed with her costars, Vanessa Hudgens, Milo Ventimiglia (he plays Jennifer?s boyfriend/husband) and Leah Remini (Jennifer?s long-time BFF in real life).

I have to hand it to Jennifer Lopez. She used to get engaged to just about every boyfriend, remember her second marriage to that backup dancer and then her engagement to Ben Affleck? After that she married Marc Anthony and they had two two kids together. They ended up coparenting well after their divorce, so it wasnt the worst case scenario. She never got engaged to the other backup dancer she dated for years, Casper Smart, and she dated Drake for a minute and smartly didnt stay with him. Jennifer doesnt like being alone but at least shes mellowed. Anyway it seemed like just a matter of time before she got engaged to Alex Rodriguez. Theyve been together for about 19 months and weve heard engagement rumors for almost as long. They dress so matchy and cute, they support each others projects, and their kids get along too. Plus theyre constant fixtures on each others social media, which is how Lopez showed off what looks like a giant diamond engagement ring. Alex posted a video of her making the baseball sign for a hit and run during one of the World Series games. I only have a vague understanding of what shes doing.

They say all good things must come to an end. On Saturday night, Jennifer Lopez wrapped up her Las Vegas residency, performing the last of her All I Have shows at the Zappos Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
The last show was a star-studded affair. An attendee told E! News that the singer ?shouted out various celebrities during a portion of the show,? and there were plenty to choose from. In the audience were Kobe Bryant, Anthony Anderson, Ashley Graham and Tiffany Haddish. Ja Rule and LL Cool joined J-L o on stage for All I Have. Jennifer also mentioned that her former boyfriend Diddy, whom she dated for two years up until February 2001, was in the house.
At the end of the show, while she was performing a cover of I Hope You Dance,? she was joined onstage by her dancers and her family, including boyfriend Alex Rodriguez. A visibly emotional Jennifer told the assembled group that, ?You guys are amazing, and added, I saw this quote today that said, How lucky am I to have something thats so difficult to say goodbye to? She then dedicated the song ?Smile? to them, as seen in this clip posted to Instagram.
