Here are some photos from last night?s annual Clive Davis pre-Grammy party. This year, Clive got a decent blend of old-school talents and the younger crowd. The Grammys feel a bit weird this year? almost like they?re actively trying to tone down the more controversial people and like they?re trying to award the more original talents? Maybe that?s just a pipe dream though. Anyway, let?s talk about fashion. Taylor Swift was one of the biggest names at Clive?s party ? she wore this Zuhair Murad which I?m almost positive we?ve seen in gown-form on Jennifer Lopez in the past. Murad is an interesting choice for Swifty, and I haven?t given her enough credit for subtly phasing out her ?default? princess-gowns in pastel colors.
Kelly Osbourne and family? hunter green is not her color and blunt-cut bangs are not flattering on her. Disaster.
Jennifer Hudson in Christopher Kane. The dress is meh to me, but from the neck up, J-Hud looks FANTASTIC. Right? I love the length of her hair right now and the way she?s styling it.
Jessie J?s hair finally grew in. I?m not sure if this is really an improvement, but I do like her suit. A lot.
Chrissy Teigen wore Zuhair Murad too. She?s so pretty and her body is crazy and this color and cut does nothing for her.
Er? Paula Patton just insured that Miley Cyrus was never going to be the worst-dressed of the evening. Paula wore this too-small, too-awful, too-gross Mireille Dagher Couture gown. Her boobs are sending an SOS. I could have sworn this was Marchesa too.
As for Miley Cyrus, she wore Calvin Klein. Is it just me or does she look kind of cute here?

The "I Knew You Were Trouble" walked out of the gym with a smile, sporting a pair of shades with her stylish red lipstick, a panther-themed hoodie and sexy black yoga pants.

Taking a spin around the grocery store for some supplies, Taylor Swift went to Whole Foods in Beverly Hills this afternoon (January 17) in search of some healthy foods and a bouquet of flowers.
The pop-country starlet listened to music in the store, wearing a tight black and red striped shirt and green short shorts, showing off her lovely legs while taking care of business.
The 23-year-old beauty has also been giving a considerable amount of thought to the upcoming Grammy Awards, and she took to Twitter to do so.
She posted a status on Monday that read, "It's the 13th and it's 13 days until @TheGRAMMYs. I'm aware that I talk about 13's too much (as well as cats and food) but 2 in one day!!!"

Swift looked casually chic for the shopping trip, sporting a black fedora, a white T-shirt, a grey sweater, brown leather lace-up boots and a pair of high-waisted short-shorts.
She also styled her ensem with sunnies, a Free People topper, and a chic Dolce & Gabbana tote.

Showing off her gorgeous gams, Taylor Swift set off shopping in West Hollywood on Thursday (January 16).
The "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer sported a gray cardigan, white top, black fedora, and black hotpants as she strolled along with her bodyguard on Melrose.
Recently, the 24-year-old songstress spoke to Teen Vogue about her love for Keds and her new line with the brand, as well as how her style has evolved.
Though she admits she doesn't follow trends, Taylor does divulge, "I never got to go to prom. So when I was younger, I wore prom dresses on the red carpet or to awards shows."

Keeping her dance moves in tip top shape, Taylor Swift headed out for a two-hour sweat session at a studio in Los Angeles, CA Tuesday (January 14).
Looking chic and athletic, the "White Horse" songstress showed off her legs in black short shorts while accessorizing with a grey tank top and classic red lip.
In other news, it looks like Miss Swift is looking forward to the upcoming Grammy Awards, where she is set to perform and possibly bring home four new awards.

Taylor Swift spent a lot of time in her wedding-cake-looking Rhode Island mega-mansion in 2013. She was on tour most of the year, but whenever she had a break in her schedule, she would go to Rhode Island, usually bringing along a huge group of friends. They would party, Swifty-style ? which includes a lot of wholesome face-painting, dancing and baking, from what I gather. Unfortunately, Taylor?s Rhode Island mansion has become the source of a lot of pain and anxiety, for her and for her neighbors. Apparently, whenever Taylor was in residence, her security guards would stop and harass people trying to gain access to the public beach which abuts her property. Her security people even stopped volunteers from cleaning up the beach too. So, there were problems. And the problems have just gotten worse.
For days now, TMZ and Radar have been tracking a story about Swifty doing some kind of major landscaping work on her property. The gist seems to be that Swifty is constructing a ?massive perimeter wall? around her property, and the whole thing is changing the coastline and it?s going to make life more difficult for people trying to access the beach. There?s been a lot of back-and-forth about whether Swifty got the proper permits, or whether she?s actually just re-doing something that used to be part of the original property. Here?s TMZ?s story:
Taylor Swift is screwing with the coastline in a small Rhode Island community … and pissing off neighbors in the process … but Taylor’s people say what she’s doing is perfectly legal. Swift is building a massive perimeter wall around her castle in Westerly, Rhode Island, moving tons of coastline rocks in the process.
One neighbor tells TMZ, “It was bad enough when she moved in, but to ruin a part of the town for all of us … this is a whole new level of hate.”
Surfers in the area tell TMZ … the wall under construction around Taylor’s 11,000 square foot mansion is messing with the wave break in Westerly.
And some residents are grousing … the wall she’s building is taking away public access that they have enjoyed for years.
We’re getting multiple, conflicting stories from government workers and residents … but from Taylor’s point of view … her people say government officials actually asked her to move some of the rocks that had drifted into the ocean back to her property line and that’s what residents are seeing. They also claim the wall she’s building is in the same spot as the original wall that was constructed decades ago but eroded over time.
It appears the prior owners built a wall closer to the mansion, but it was destroyed last year during Hurricane Sandy and now Taylor is building where the original wall had been. Problem is — the residents are used to having the beach they will no longer enjoy.
Also … officials say Taylor obtained all necessary permits.

The problem? A Connecticut newspaper claims that Swifty did NOT get the proper permits and that the wall under construction is much too big and gaudy. But! After that newspaper report, Laura Dwyer, the spokeswoman for the Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council, told media outlets: “The larger boulders were historically there. We have photograph evidence from previous property owners that they were there, but they were covered with sand. When the applicant came in with plans, they were proposing to leave those rocks way out in the water. We were the ones who asked them to get those boulders as close to the seaward side of that concrete wall as possible.” Huh. It sounds like Swifty did her due diligence and some Rhode Islanders are just pissed off in general. Gotta love prissy New England real estate wars!

Here are some photos of Taylor Swift?s 24th birthday celebration in Melbourne, Australia ? she posted these on her Facebook. Look closely at the photos? that?s Lorde! Lorde and Swifty are now friends! Actually, they?ve been tight for at least a month, I think. Apparently, they spent time together in NYC in November, and then Lorde and Swifty had dinner in Melbourne last week when Swifty was on tour.
You might remember, this fall Lorde gave an interview about her belief system and her feminism and she ended saying: ?Taylor Swift is so flawless, and so unattainable, and I don?t think it?s breeding anything good in young girls. ?I?m never going to be like Taylor Swift, why can?t I be as pretty as Lorde?? That?s f?? bulls–t.? Which isn?t exactly shade ? it?s more like a backhanded compliment combined with a rather nuanced social critique. But everyone was like ?Lorde hates Swifty!? and so Lorde came out later and clarified what she said and made an even more nuanced argument about ?Photoshop culture? and the responsibility artists have to their fans. So? I guess all is forgiven between Lorde and Swifty. Lorde got an invite to Swifty?s b-day party so now they?re besties.
So, what do you think Swifty and Lorde talk about? I’m actually somewhat surprised that they would have anything to talk about because Swifty just seems so… boy-crazy. Like, in my mind, Swifty only talks about boys, cats and clothes. Meanwhile, Lorde is in the corner, reading the collected works of Erica Jong.
