I?ve been wondering for months now why it seemed like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez were on the outs, and it looks like we have our answer: Swifty thinks Lil? Maple Leaf is awful. This is probably why Swifty has been making new BFFs right and left, like Lorde and Karlie Kloss. Karlie Kloss is the new Selena!
If Justin Bieber is your boyfriend, Taylor Swift would let you go! The “Red” singer, 24, has distanced herself from former best friend Selena Gomez after the Disney star reconnected with her infamous ex-boyfriend, 20, sources confirm to Us Weekly.
Swift is disgusted that the pair are back together, cutting off her bestie after tweeting just last July that Gomez was “the closest thing I’ve ever had to a sister.”
The “Boyfriend” singer sent his ex $10,000 in flowers and flew from Miami to McAllen, Texas to see her on March 7. Two days later, the “Come And Get It” crooner accompanied the Biebs to the SXSW music fest where he sang his hit “As Long as You Love Me” to her.
But Gomez rekindling of the Jelena flame isn’t the only thing peeving Swift. She believes Gomez “used” a brief romance with the Grammy winner’s pal Ed Sheeran last June to make her jailbird sweetie jealous.
“After Selena pulled that move, Taylor started distancing herself,” a source tells Us.
And Swift has plenty of besties to spend time with otherwise. Recently she’s been spotted with Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland, True Grit’s Hailee Steinfeld, Victoria’s Secret model Karlie Kloss, and even Gomez’s enemy, New Zealander Lorde. But while their friendship may be struggling, a Swift pal insists that the country artist-turned-pop vocalist loves Gomez and will always be there for her.

A source also says that Swifty was ?disgusted? that Selena and Justin spent this past weekend together and it was the final straw. But hold up ? where was I when Selena banged Ed Sheeran?!?!? THE HOBBIT GOT SOME BOOTY!! And Selena?s hot too? if Ed Sheeran was just some rebound sex to make Justin Bieber jelly, I bet Ed was fine that. He got to bang Selena, after all.
As for the whole psychodrama of Tay-tay being disgusted and all that? I?m Team Swifty on this one. I?ve had many girlfriends who get obsessed with the big losers in the world. I was always stuck in that position of ?Do I tell her the truth about her boyfriend being a gigantic tool or should I let her find out for herself?? If anything, Swifty?s intense dislike for Lil? Maple Leaf makes me like her more.

Staying dedicated to her demanding workout schedule, Taylor Swift stopped by a gym in Los Angeles on Thursday (March 6).
The ?22? songstress sported a super cute patriotic sweatshirt and shorts as she made her way into the busy facility.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Taylor was granted a restraining order against a man who reportedly believes he is married to her.
In her petition, Miss Swift claimed Timothy Sweet has been stalking her since January 2011 with letters, emails, and social media posts. Among the bizarre and rather frightening messages, Sweet wrote, ?If anyone in Taylor Swift?s family gets killed, it is not my fault.? And ?Dearest Taylor, I?ll kill any man who gets in the way of our marriage. Message to John Kerry, Secret of State. Message from YOUR Presidential Candidate.?
In the order, the judge ordered Timothy to stay 100 yards away from both Taylor and three members of family.

I?m transitioning from Oscar red carpet coverage to Oscar party coverage, just FYI. None of these people actually went to the Oscars, but they did come out to party last night. These are all pics from the Vanity Fair party, which seems to be a lot less dramatic than usual. I think VF decided to do their ?red carpet? indoors rather than the usual outdoor photo-op. Anyway, here?s party girl Taylor Swift in a long-sleeved black Julien Macdonald. You know what? I like this. It?s not twee, it?s not girlish, but it?s not matronly on her either. It?s sexy without being vulgar. I like the simple hair too.
Emilia Clarke also wore black ? this is Balenciaga. Thoughts? I don?t hate it, don?t love it either. And I really like that Emilia comes to LA to network for the Oscars.
Zooey Deschanel in Oscar de la Renta. Can you believe this is Oscar de la Renta? It seems? off. I don?t care for the dress at all, but I like Zooey with curly hair. She has great hair! I?ll never understand why she insists on those bangs.
This Sienna Miller photo made me laugh. This looks like old-school Sienna, the one who could go dong-for-dong with Kate Hudson. Boobs falling out of a too-tight Alexander McQueen? Check. Starting her weekend off with a little sweat session, Taylor Swift stopped by a dance studio in Los Angeles on Friday (February 21).
The "You Belong With Me" hitmaker looked super cute in a red star sweater with shorts and light blue sneakers as she made her way to her morning class.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, "Royals" songstress Lorde told Capital FM radio there's a possibility that she and Taylor will be making music together soon.
While chatting with the radio station, the New Zealand singer was asked about a potential collaboration with TSwift, which she responded, "Yeah, we are [different], but I think the cool thing about Taylor is she is pretty willing to go a lot of places with music."
"I think that last record in particular, everyone was like 'Whoah,' a lot of ground has been covered. And I think with an artist like her, the sky is the limit," she added.

The "Love Story" singer was dressed for the occasion in a black leotard, matching tights, and a little red skirt as she headed back to her vehicle.
Recently, the 24-year-old songstress lent her starpower to fun.'s Jack Antonoff to give his new music a boost by sharing it with her 39 million Twitter followers.
Linking the track "I Wanna Get Better," Taylor wrote, "Been hearing songs from this project all year and am so excited the first single is out!!!!! YAY @jackantonoff."

Recently, the 24-year-old songstress has been showing her support for Team USA at the Sochi Winter Olympics.
In a video made for "Entertainment Tonight," TSwift calls out freestyle skier Torin Yater-Wallace specifically, saying, "I wanted to wish all the winter athletes good luck, and Torin -- thanks for listening to my music while you practice. That's amazing."
