Here are some photos from last night?s American Music Awards, which apparently was a who?s who of pop music acts. Everybody showed up, which is preferable to the crap show at this year?s VMAs this past September. If you?re looking for a trend from last night?s fashion, I would say that many of the women were doing some 1970s styles. Lots of Halston-looking gowns and jumpsuits, lots of long, straight hair or feathered Farrah hair. Like Taylor Swift, who totally looks like one of Charlie?s Angels here. Taylor wore this sparkly gold Julien Macdonald and you know what? I don?t hate it. Mostly because I?m tired of her princess gowns and bridal couture, so it?s fun to see her in something that makes her look like Barbarella. Tay-Tay won Best Country Album, Artist of the Year and Favorite Female Country Artist. You can see the full list of winners here.
More fashion photos? Ariana Grande in sparkly Dolce & Gabbana. She?s very pretty and this isn?t a terrible dress, but everything feels off. If I was styling her? I would tell her to ditch the ombre hair and then really play with some fun hairstyles. Then I would put her in cute cocktail dresses rather than pageant-looking gowns.
Emma Roberts in Lanvin. You know what? I like this. Her styling is beautiful and I like the ?70s vibe. My only complaint? The shoes. Awful.
Jennifer Hudson in Christian Dior. I didn?t think J-Hud would look this amazing in orange. She really pulls it off. I like this look on her a lot.
Zoe Saldana in Roland Mouret. Ugh. Usually I like Mouret?s designs, but this is just awful. From the neck up, she looks great ? but the dress is just awful.

Keeping her body in tip-top shape, Taylor Swift headed into a Los Angeles dance studio on Friday afternoon (November 22).
Rocking a giant red heart on her sweater, the 23-year-old singer slipped into her ballet shoes and headed inside the studio.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Taylor recently hit up the Weinstein Company?s Holiday Party in Los Angeles.
While mingling with fellow industry pals, the blonde beauty donned a very flattering maroon gown, getting thumbs up from many fashion critics.

Here is Taylor Swift looking as gorgeous as ever at the Weinstein Company?s holiday party held at RivaBella in West Hollywood.
She looked beyond AH-MAZING at the holiday party, and let her curve-hugging dress do ALL the talking. Taylor donned a beautiful maroon dress by Herv Leroux. The vixen in red was utter perfection in this bandage-style dress that featured sheer sleeves.
?I?ve listened to ?Hold On? by @ColbieCaillat 45 times today. So on repeat. So important.? Taylor tweeted the day before.

Throughout this week, I?ve been slightly aware of the UK tabloid reports that Taylor Swift has been checking out some real estate in London. The tabloids claimed that she was looking for a place close to Harry Styles? place, because I guess Harry and Tay-Tay are not ?done? yet? But I do think they?re done. Taylor might not believe it, but I think Harry has been over it since January of this year. He?s moved on. And so that left Taylor, in my mind, as a real estate stalker who was still obsessed with her ex. Except that maybe I should give her more credit. According to People Mag, Tay-Tay has found her Romeo (LITERALLY) with yet another young-looking British boy, 21-year-old Douglas Booth. Booth recently played Romeo in the latest film version of Romeo and Juliet:
Does Taylor Swift have a new British beau? Ten months after splitting from One Direction’s Harry Styles, the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer has been spotted with another U.K. heartthrob ? Romeo and Juliet’s Douglas Booth.
“They hired the back room and were in there alone,” a source tells PEOPLE of the duo’s cozy night at The Holly Bush in London on Friday. “They looked very happy [and] were just smiling and laughing just like any other customers.”
The duo possibly met through Swift’s close friend Hailee Steinfeld, who starred opposite Booth, 21, in the latest installment of Shakespeare’s classic love story about star-crossed lovers.
Swift, 23, showed up at the Los Angeles premiere’s after party in September, where she was seen getting flirty with Booth. The pair hung out with a group of friends (including Steinfeld), chatting and taking a series of fun photos in the photo booth.
No word yet on if the two are officially dating or are simply friends (reps for Swift and Booth did not respond to a request for comment), but sounds like a bit of quality time could go a long way with Booth.
“I’ve met some of the most beautiful women in the world, but they’re not the most attractive women that I’ve met,” he told PEOPLE in September. “Beauty comes from inside ? I think it takes a little bit of getting to know someone to fall in love.”

He?s got good hair and a sweet face and he looks like he could totally be a member of One Direction. Do you hear that, Harry Styles? Tay-Tay found another British boy, a better British boy! Which reminds me ? remember when Taylor and Eddie Redmayne dated for just a moment a few years ago? She?s been on a British boy jag for a while. I ain?t mad at her. Holy crap, Taylor Swift?s cover story for New York Magazine is long. It?s really, really long. You can read it here if you want to spend twenty minutes of your day on a time-suck article that I can sum up for you quickly: Tay-Tay is the reigning queen of pop music and she?s a shrewd businesswoman and a control-freak about her sparkles-and-ponies image. There. Done. I skim so you don?t have to, and you?ll thank me later. Taylor did talk about some interesting stuff and she made some cryptic remarks about (I guess) Jake Gyllenhaal and Harry Styles. Some highlights:
She?s from Pennsylvania & she?s super-country: ?Country radio is much more like a family than any other group of people that I?ve met. They just say, ?Look, we?ve known each other for years. You?ve stood by us, and we?ve stood by you. That?s how this works.? ?
She gives back: In October, the singer attended a gala ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Taylor Swift Education Center at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, which she personally endowed with a $4 million donation. ?I love being a part of the country-music community,? she told me.
Someday she?ll quit music: ?When I?m 40 and nobody wants to see me in a sparkly dress anymore, I?ll be, like: ?Cool, I?ll just go in the studio and write songs for kids.? It?s looking like a good pension plan.?
The ?spin? on how she writes slam-songs about exes: ?There?s a spin on every single celebrity out there. I know that one of my spins is: ?Oh, Taylor?s heartbroken. Oh, Taylor fell in love and the guy broke her heart. She?s sad all the time, and lonely.? I mean, they can say that all they want. Those are real feelings that every single person goes through. I think that it?s okay to be mad at someone who hurt you. This isn?t about, like, the pageantry of trying to seem like nothing affects you. I?m a songwriter. Everything affects me.?
Is this Jake Gyllenhaal? ?I heard from the guy that most of Red is about,? Swift said. ?He was like, ?I just listened to the album, and that was a really bittersweet experience for me. It was like going through a photo album.? That was nice. Nicer than, like, the ranting, crazy e-mails I got from this one dude. It?s a lot more mature way of looking at a love that was wonderful until it was terrible, and both people got hurt from it?but one of those people happened to be a songwriter.? She rolled her eyes. ?So what are you going to do? Did you not Wikipedia me before you called me up??
Her next album: ?I have a lot of things to draw from emotionally at the moment. But I have to draw from them with a different perspective than on Red. I can?t say the same things over and over, you know? I mean, I think it?s just all the more important that I don?t ever allow myself to coast. At the same time, there?s a mistake that I see artists make when they?re on their fourth or fifth record, and they think innovation is more important than solid songwriting. The most terrible letdown as a listener for me is when I?m listening to a song and I see what they were trying to do. Like, where there?s a dance break that doesn?t make any sense, there?s a rap that shouldn?t be there, there?s like a beat change that?s, like, the coolest, hippest thing this six months?but it has nothing to do with the feeling, it has nothing to do with the emotion, it has nothing to do with the lyric. I never want to put things in songs just because that might make them popular, like, on the more rhythmic stations or in dance clubs. I really don?t want a compilation of sounds. I just need them to be songs.?
She?s always going to write about love: ?I only write songs about crazy love. If I go on two dates with a guy and we don?t click, I?m not writing a song about that. It didn?t matter in the emotional grand scheme of things. There?s a lot that goes on in daily life that isn?t really worth turning into a verse and a chorus.?

Let?s parse! I think ?the guy that most of Red is about? is definitely Jake Gyllenhaal. I think Jake is all over Red and that was her biggest relationship at the time she was writing the album. But who is this? ?Nicer than, like, the ranting, crazy e-mails I got from this one dude.? John Mayer? Harry Styles? One of them, right? Would Harry Styles send her ranting, crazy emails? I doubt it. I think Harry is over it, right? Now, John Mayer? he seems like a great candidate for an email ranter. As for: ?So what are you going to do? Did you not Wikipedia me before you called me up?? Seriously. I kind of agree with her on that one ? you know what you?re getting with Taylor Swift. If you?re a dude and you want to date her, just know that she has stalker eyes and she?ll sh-t talk you in a song.
Also – MSN has an interesting “exclusive” about Tay-Tay and Harry Styles maybe kind of getting back together – you can read the story here. Allegedly, they are going to spend the Hew Year together and a source says, “Harry has never really gotten over Taylor and thinks she is gorgeous. He is going to spend some serious time with her in the run up to Christmas and New Year.?

The Victoria?s Secret show was last night. And it was epic. I?m trying to figure out the theme, but? I can?t. The theme was ?tall, leggy women in bizarre costumes that really aren?t all that sexy.? I?m sort of happy that they got Taylor Swift to perform ? I think Justin Bieber was the musical act last year? And that was a disaster. Swifty kind of fits for Victoria?s Secret. The models seemed to like her a lot too ? Swifty got a butt-pat from Karlie Kloss, seen here in her Gozer the Gozerian costume (right?!). I even liked Swifty?s costumes too ? the silver dress was a little basic, but the deconstructed Union Jack dress was sort of cool (although it didn?t make much sense, but still? boobs).
I?m going to do another post of just models and costumes and such, but I wanted to include photos of one of Swifty?s big enemies these days, Cara Delevingne. Cara and Swifty have girl drama. After Harry Styles dumped Swifty, he started hanging out with Cara a lot. There are lots of rumors about Cara and Harry dating, although I think they?re probably more like ?good friends who sometimes hook up.? Harry and Cara are tight. And you know that pisses off Swifty. CB was surprised that Cara was invited to walk the VS runway, but Cara is a big runway model these days, and she?s proof positive that ?it?s all about the styling.? The makeup artists really did a decent job of toning down her Angry Baby vibe (but I still see it).
PS? Cara is wearing one of my favorite VS costumes, the ?lingerie with the yellow, rubber hazardous material gloves? look.

Excitement hasn't stopped growing since Victoria's Secret announced its all star lineup of performers for the 2013 VS Fashion Show and now we finally get a look at Taylor Swift crooning on the sexy runway.
Before taking the stage, the 23-year-old singer rocked a sexy floral cocktail dress on the Pink carpet.
After posing for the press, TSwift rocked out to her hits in a patriotic ensemble as the gorgeous Angels strutted down the catwalk.
Ahead of the New York City event, Miss Switch tweeted, "I've been in rehearsals all day for #VSFashionShow and I can't wait for tomorrow!! EXCITED. @VictoriasSecret."
In addition to Taylor, Fall Out Boy, Neon Jungle and A Great Big World are set to take the VS Runway Stage for the Fashion Show, which airs on CBS December 10.
